Full Moon in Cancer + Chiron Direct ~ December 26, 2023

I’m posting this early because the days around Christmas are wildly potent this year. Knowing the incoming energies will help you recognize positive openings, even if things look different upon first glance. There will be no video. I’m taking a YouTube break and focusing on other projects right now. Also, Winter Solstice marks David’s and my seventh wedding anniversary, so I will probably not post again until after Christmas unless I feel extra led to do so. My December 2023 Forecast shared:

December 26 Full Moon in Cancer, 7:33 p.m. Eastern US time. On this same day, Chiron stations Direct in Aries. Both the strong energy of Chiron and the Full Moon’s Sabian Symbol initially suggest pain: “(CANCER 5°): AT A RAILROAD CROSSING, AN AUTOMOBILE IS WRECKED BY A TRAIN. KEYNOTE: The tragic results which are likely to occur when the individual’s will pits itself carelessly against the power of the collective will of society. … KARMIC READJUSTMENT.” In addition to pain, Chiron can also bring tremendous healing. “Train wreck” people and situations are “up,” but so is the potential to heal from them. Given the state of our world, a KARMIC READJUSTMENT seems necessary and even welcome. This could be a major timeline split.

The disastrous sounding Sabian Symbol offers more hope when we consider what type of car gets hit by a train–not just any car, but whatever stands in the way of the collective will of society. This potential increases when we realize that Ixion conjuncts the Sun point, opposing this Full Moon. Ixion represents reckless, criminal behavior and “bad karma”–the very things clobbered by that train. The Sabian Symbol for the Sun/Ixion point is: “(CAPRICORN 5°): INDIANS ON THE WARPATH, WHILE SOME MEN ROW A WELL-FILLED CANOE, OTHERS IN IT PERFORM A WAR DANCE.”

Tension peaks, but this “war” could play out more on the mental/emotional/spiritual level. The next day brings a bizarre distortion field of Mercury Retrograde (confused mind) conjunct Mars (planet of war) in Sagittarius (philosophy)–both square Neptune (higher love, confusion, illusion, delusion) in Pisces (the collective unconscious). Mars and Mercury both supportively trine the North Node in Aries, so this confusion triggers a necessary shift in consciousness that initiates major changes. Bigger picture, destiny level action and healing get amplified as Chiron (wound/wounded healer) stations Direct in Aries (individual, courage, forging ahead to something new).

With more and more people waking up, collective will has shifted towards more sovereignty and less top down authority and war. Jupiter in Taurus closely sextiles this Full Moon, bringing optimism and blessings, as philosophical shifts (Jupiter) take root (Taurus). Saturn (structures, karma) trines the Cancer Full Moon from early Pisces, further anchoring dreams into a new reality.

The Midheaven for the Washington, D.C. chart squares Pluto in late Capricorn and reactivates the April 19-20, 2023 New Moon in Aries Solar Eclipse. Some kind of public disclosure affects how individuals (and the collective world) view the United States government. This perceptual shift occurs less than a month before Pluto re-enters Aquarius with the Sun on January 20th. Like a fast train colliding with an obstructive car, Pluto obliterates whatever stands in the way of new life.

Star Goddess Astraea at 6+ Cancer conjunct the Full Moon, and Cupido with his love arrow at 6+ Capricorn conjunct the Sun point imply that divinely orchestrated relationships could also move to the next level, as situations or people standing in the way of such relationships step aside. Please note: those intending “Highest Good of All” will likely experience these changes on a slower trajectory that aims to reduce trauma/drama in favor of “ease and please.” Venus in Scorpio trine Neptune in Pisces at the time of the Full Moon support both higher love and unconditional compassion.

In my New Moon in Sagittarius post, I mentioned how we entered a surreal phase from December 12th‘s New Moon, Mercury stationing Rx on the 13th, and Mercury Direct not fully leaving the Shadow Phase until January 20th–the same day both Sun and Pluto enter Aquarius. The December 26th Full Moon falls inside this distortion field, strengthened by that Mars/Mercury Rx conjunction square Neptune. The boat could rock, and we might feel seasick. When in doubt, ask “What would Love do?” and then pay very close, honest attention to whatever answers arise. The tighter we cling to old expectations and habits, the harder the shock waves required to shake things loose.

Cancer is the Water sign most associated with changing tides. The Moon rules Cancer, making this an extra powerful, emotional Full Moon. My Gramma Irene’s favorite toast was: “To more love!” The way to more love is not always what you’ve been programmed to believe, but feel into yourself. The body and heart reveal what your soul’s afraid to speak.

Given the intense energies and distortion field, it’s probably wise to have a week of food and water and some cash on hand. Your best preparation is to practice tuning into your intuition, regularly clearing your energy field, and disciplining your mind to focus more on the positive potential than the (pervasive!) negative fear programming.

Again, this Full Moon could initiate a timeline split. With that distortion field and the surreal energies in effect from December 12th-January 20th, many things could shift. If you don’t like what presents, work the energies into something more soulful and uplifting. Everything’s in flux right now.

Eagle Heights, Christmas Decorations, and Time Loops, Oh, My!

David and I had one of the loveliest Thanksgiving Weekends we’ve enjoyed together, just the two of us because David was on call Thursday. He did not, however, get called and so we made our own mostly gluten-free, entirely vegan feast, took a luxurious nap, watched a movie and puttered around the house.

In addition to the yummies below, I made gf vegan pumpkin pie (cashew based). The stuffing below is topped with a fermented celery “dressing” we began right after this previous post about Pickle Pipes. We had our doubts, but the celery did, indeed, end up delicious. The live, fermented food made digesting this big meal a breeze. (Recipe from “Fermented Vegetables,” by Christopher Shockey and Kirsten K. Shockey. The faux turkey was from Gardein and the only gluten containing part of our dinner.)

On Saturday, we decided to check out the W.K. Kellogg Estate, also known as “Eagle Heights.” Located on Gull Lake, this summer estate of Will Keith Kellogg features a Christmas crafts bazaar each year. We had no idea what to expect, but we like touring old manors. David thought it might transition us from Thanksgiving to the Christmas Season, and it sure did! This manor has so much history. With warm and informative volunteers, gorgeous decorations, 1,600-foot shoreline, crafts, Bird Sanctuary and the manor itself, we felt like we walked into a simpler time and place.

 

The entire back side of the house overlooks Gull Lake. Every rear window offers expansive views of trees, gardens and water.

Timeline Changes Afoot

Just a quick post, as I’m navigating my own upgrading and expanding timelines. I’ve heard from a number of people, especially in the past few days, asking what’s up with the energies and do I feel them, too? Yes, I do … and what’s up depends on how you focus, how you’re living, how prayerful/intentional/present you are, and what you allow as “possible.”

Whenever chaotic energies arise, they offer easier opportunities for timeline jumps and reality upgrades.

Change will happen, so keep your focus on what you do want, rather than what you don’t want. You can use the increased awareness of negative timelines to clarify the kind of life you do want to live, but if you want to make the most of these powerful energies, then do whatever you can to keep your vibration as high and clear as possible. Trust your intuition, and don’t sweat the small stuff. When timelines shift, some of the non-urgent details tend to shift, as well. I’ll share some of my recent experiences in another post, but suffice to say, some kooky crazy “impossible” things keep happening.

If this happens to you, and you’ve been playing with timelines, ask yourself which things are truly important to you. Do you like the new trajectory? If so, then do the insignificant details need to become an issue? If these details do remain an issue, then they’re not insignificant, in which case, get your intentions and focus ready to shift again. 🙂 If you need assistance or grounding  to clarify what the heck is going on and how to make the most of it, we can set up a session, either for one of November’s Specials or something else. Goodbye Sonoma County Redux: Synchronous Owls, NaNoWriMo, and Safe Passage

My February 2010 entry, “Goodbye Sonoma County, Goodbye California,” has haunted me for nearly eight years. David and I decided to get married in December 2016 in preparation for purchasing a house in Michigan and relocating from Goshen, Indiana. Ever since then, memories of my sudden departure from California have tumbled across consciousness at least several times per week. From needing to retrieve Sonoma County divorce records — to a two-week stint on Instagram that felt like an assault of photos from places I worked so hard to leave — to discerning and executing our own exit plan from Goshen, the late 2009-early 2010 time period in Sonoma County kept bursting through.

Although David and I met as friends in Chicago, unbeknownst to me at the time, our story actually began in Sonoma County and Napa. Synchronicities

Timeline Splits and the August Eclipse Gateway: Sandra Walter

A few people have asked me about the August 2017 Eclipse, so I wanted to share this Sandra Walter video (below). Quick Updates and Flowers

Things are traveling at a whirlwind pace, but all moving along quite well! I find this very true in our own lives, and I hear equivalent reports from clients, friends and family. Once people experiencing any challenges notice that each challenge presents a chance to clarify, confirm and commit to the new, an energy shift emerges, turning the entire process into a blessing.

This happened to us last week, as initially, the sellers of our new home indicated they would not vacate by the Friday settlement date. A flurry of prayers, sacred chants, emails, texts, visualization, and a Reiki Healing Attunement apparently activated a much more positive timeline. Literally everything except the house itself changed overnight, including the individuals and situations involved — reworking not only to a fully vacated house, but also to major sync winks and uncanny blessings the whole day of our closing. Several “full circles” made everyone marvel at Divine guidance, and we just happened to meet the previous owner to the ones selling us the house.

She’s the now elderly woman who planted all the trees and flowers. On Friday, she just happened to drive by to check out the yellow irises she always loves to see bloom, whereupon she noticed the “Sold” sign and an open garage door.

She waited for us to come outside, introduced herself, gave us her phone number and offered to set us up with her former arborist and any information we’d like to know about the park like setting she created. She expressed sheer delight that another gardener is moving in, since
