Three More Days For Early Discount

Just a quick reminder that we’re only three days away from Summer Solstice and the early prepay discount for our “Fall Equinox Workshop: Living a More Magickal Life with Laura Bruno & Tania Marie.” This class is hosted at Tania’s beautiful Lake Tahoe home and will be the first and last she and I ever co-teach together. You can find out more details and sign up by following the linked title. The workshop is already 1/2 full. Space is limited for this intimate gathering, so if you’d like to reserve your spot, you can also save $77 by prepaying on or before June 21st.

You can continue to sign up for June Specials through June 30, 2018:

$44 Tarot Special

Half-hour tarot reading at 20% off the usual rate. Tarot readings offer an energetic check-in, the chance to ask questions about pending decisions or intentions, and represent a fun, yet powerful way to gain perspective on relationships and challenges.

Tarot readings are particularly good for people who don’t know what kinds of questions to ask me; they just want some kind of guidance because they feel unsure of what’s coming or what to focus upon. Tarot also seems to benefit those people who have exceptionally good things coming their way, yet wonder if I might be “padding the reading” or “just saying what they want to hear.” The cards don’t lie. (Neither do I – but the cards seem an even more objective medium for delivering good news.)

Please contact me if you’d like to sign up for this special. Offer valid if prepaid on or before June 30, 2018.

40-Minute Soul Reading Special

$133 instead of the usual $177, this 40-Minute Soul Reading Special can address “why you’re here,” deep soul longings, how to bring more soul into the workplace or your relationship, and/or an astrology check-in. Offer valid if prepaid on or before June 30, 2018.

Druidcast 129 ~ Philip Carr-Gomm on Creativity, Story and Magic

This afternoon, I finally had time to catch up on the December 18, 2017 Druidcast, which includes a question and answer session with Philip Carr-Gomm from the OBOD East Coast Gathering. Interspersed with lovely and haunting music, the discussion explores creativity, inspiration (aka Awen), receptivity, the power of Story, and the ethics and expression of magic, ceremony and cultural sharing — especially looking at Maori and Hindu crossovers with Druidry. Here’s the podcast link for anyone interested in the talk.

Moving Beyond Discouragement

I had an email catch up with a friend today, and we both thought parts of our exchange would help anyone else facing discouragement. I’ve corrected typos, added paragraphs for easier reading, and removed obviously identifying information like names, location and personal details. Otherwise, the question and my response appear intact below.

This week I’ve heard from enough clients, friends and relatives that I know more than just my friend are dancing a mazurka with discouragement. Whether your challenge stems from money, work, family, health, life path, and/or romance, please know, you’re not alone. You don’t need to know your entire trajectory right this moment. You just need to get unstuck by finding and taking the next step. And then the next one. As J.R.R. Tolkien said, “Little by little, one travels far.”

My friend:

… As an aside, do you ever get discouraged? The reason I ask is because you always seem so confident in your dealings and writings about Faeries, the world beyond the Veil, and all things spiritual/mystical, and that is a tremendous inspiration to me, but Continue reading

Sync Winks and the New Garden

As I await a Sears delivery, I thought I’d take this otherwise unusable block of time to answer FAQ’s about the new garden and our move in general. Sorry, I still cannot reveal the exact city — that will come in time — but based on the number of sync winks and perfect heads up’s and interventions, Divine Timing is obviously in effect!

On Saturday, we were running errands and needed some information from our friend Ingrid, who loves orchids. Just as I made contact with her via text, guess what we passed in the store? A random display of orchids. I had set aside yesterday to begin filling raised beds for all my transported container plants. Knowing we had a groundhog issue Continue reading

Still Blooming!

It was minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit here last week, but on this afternoon’s walk through the yard, I noticed these little beauties still blooming strong:

Faery magic is alive and well in this yard! What’s really weird is that the hot pink hat, flower pin and scarf I felt oddly inspired to wear today match the primrose. Someone’s having a Midwinter giggle, scattering beauty across the frozen ground.

We Tied the Celtic Knot on Yule

Some of you already knew and maybe some of you wondered: David and I tied the Celtic knot on Yule. Literally: our rings are from Dublin.

Since we began our relationship as housemates, we have never not lived together, but a series of both subtle and not-so-sublte synchronicities recently revealed to us the time, manner and place of our sacred union.

We wanted our ceremony completely private, just between us, and I am not a wedding kind of gal. I’ve often said, “The only way I would have a wedding would be on Halloween so that everyone’s in costume, obviously reflecting their respective roles.” All true, but we wanted more than a courthouse experience to sanctify our marriage. Heaven, Earth and especially the Faery Realm aligned. It just so happened that we got married at midweek, at dusk, on Winter Solstice, by a hearth, as close as possible to the Indiana-Michigan state line, in a very Faery, highly liminal ceremony led by a fellow Reiki Master Teacher and her lovely daughter (also a Reiki Master Teacher).

In case we needed anymore sync winks, Continue reading

The Power of Wholeness

“Beyond anger, beneath fear, past numbness and alienation, there rests within each of us the possibility to be more than we are now. Magic is available. Wholeness is just around the corner. The power of wholeness is the power to change the world.”
