MAY 2019 SPECIALS

Integration Insights

This month brings a brand new special, because I sense so many people attempting the tricky task of integration. This 20-minute reading explores seeming opposites or tensions that your soul longs to honor in a harmonious way. Competing intentions can slow you down or block your path. Identifying this split — and finding new ways to bridge the gap — will summon new and more appropriate opportunities your way.

If you already know your internal drama, we can use this time to synthesize and redirect your energy into more productive and satisfying pursuits. If you have no idea what (or even if) you’re trying to integrate, but you feel frustrated, lost or stuck, this reading will identify which parts of you play tug of war instead of allowing you to thrive. Once you know and honor your multidimensional soul’s true desires, you can much more easily manifest them.

20 minutes for $77 if prepaid on or before 5/31/19. Special can be doubled for 40 minutes at $154. Please contact me to sign up.

Three For Two

Based on feedback from people going through big shifts right now, it seems time to offer this package deal again. Three hours for the price of two: save $222. This package can be used in whatever increments you choose — hour, 40-minute, half-hour, or 20-minute sessions — and for whatever services you’d like — Medical Intuition, Life Coaching, Astrology, Relationship Clarity, Soul Readings, or any other related service. $444 if prepaid on or before 5/31/19. Divine Doorway 19: The Sun

After nearly a month of painting, yesterday, I finished the latest portal “door,” this one on canvas but with a window-like quality.

Divine Doorway Number 19: The Sun, by Laura Bruno

I modeled this extremely coded portal after the traditional Sun card in the Tarot, with some important shifts, which I’ll explain below.

Rider-Waite-Smith version of The Sun card

When I just checked the list of Divine Doorways and Porta Portals to see what number I’ve reached, I noticed the synchronicity: the Sun card is number 19 in the Tarot, and this Sun portal is my 19th portal in this series. I didn’t plan that. As so often happens with these portals, it just worked out that way. I had forgotten that I painted a portal based on the Sun before, Divine Doorway Number 10: Hopi/Jewel in the Lotus. This 19th door was more traditional and personal to me, whereas the first Sun was a commissioned piece, designed and coded to manifest that patron’s hopes and dreams. Continue reading

Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City Getaway

In honor of both of our birthdays, plus my 21-year TBI anniversary between them, David and I took a long weekend getaway to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City, Michigan. We visited Traverse City last October, but we’d never been to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. Friday graced us with perfect hiking weather — sunny and mid-upper 50’s. The wind made it difficult to take clear photographs, but we managed to capture some of our time there.

The path to Empire Bluff felt like Faerie, and everyone leaving the bluff flashed big smiles and expanded hearts. For my part, I couldn’t stop smiling the moment we entered the green:

Reiki (pronounced “RAY-key”) is an ancient method of healing from Tibet. “Rei” means “universal” and “ki” corresponds to the “life force energy” known as Chi or prana in other Eastern systems like acupuncture or yoga. Thus, Reiki refers to the healing qualities of “universal life force energy.” Rediscovered in the late 19th century by a Japanese monk named Mikao Usui, Reiki works on physical, mental and emotional levels, restoring balance to body, mind and spirit. After completing this workshop, students will be certified Reiki 1 practitioners.

Garden Update: Perennials in Containers and Mid-May Blooms and Growth

Tomorrow marks the supposed last frost for Kalamazoo, MI. I’ll need to find a new motivation to do squats now that I (hopefully) won’t need to haul these lilies and ranunculus into the garage a couple nights per week! The almost blooming chives in front love the cool spring nights, but I bought the more tender flowers on the first warm day we had. Six frost warnings later, I admit, I got a bit ahead of the weather. 🙂

Happy Mother’s Day!

Just a quick, floral Happy Mother’s Day. To anyone who fulfills a Mother role — whether through biological motherhood, stepmothers, grandmothers who stand in for mom’s, or those who nurture others and our Mother Earth and Her creatures in profound and loving ways — thank you for being you. I wish each and every one of you a special day filled with love and beauty.

Ann Kreilkamp ~ Aftermath, New Moon in Taurus: Starting Over from Zero

I enjoyed this post from Ann Kreilkamp, and I’ve noticed similar reboots for a number of people, including myself. In retrospect, I also experienced some of my most amazing dream downloads ever exactly when the fast moving Moon conjuncted my natal Mercury at 4 degrees Gemini. That was a direct hit of early morning insight and inspiration! For anyone who’s had a particularly rich or intense past week, this post offers some larger astrological context. I love the Edith Piaf song at the end.

Ann Kreilkamp ~ Aftermath, New Moon in Taurus: Starting Over from Zero

The powerful Taurus New Moon of May 4th has come and gone. And if you are one of those who found that some long simmering drama finally came to a head during that time and continues now to completely dissolve a Neptunian spell that you had been under for the past two years (one Mars cycle) via new information (Mars in Gemini) which blew your previous world-view to smithereens (Jupiter in Sagittarius), these three planets, Neptune with Jupiter, triggered by fast-moving Mars, in a three way, very stressful, and very enlightening T-cross, then congrats. You’re not alone. I personally know two people  whose primary relationships, each two years long, blew up over these last few days, and precisely due to new and startling information, leaving both of them at zero, starting all over again. Integration Lifetimes and Human Evolution

This January 2012 post wants to go up again as more and more people sense and begin to embrace the integration process.

Laura Bruno's Blog

Readers and clients have recently asked me questions regarding what I call “integration lifetimes.” In a “regular” lifetime, people choose one or two things as their focus, attempting to resolve them so as to free themselves from specific karmic ties or continuing influence. Unlike regular lifetimes, “integration lifetimes” attempt to unite and utilize all previous incarnations — assembling them into something far beyond that which has come before. In essence, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Whereas regular lifetimes allow people to ignore “irrelevant” experiences, themes, relationships or gifts, integration lifetimes demand attention to and embracing of our greater being. For example, if a soul on a regular lifetime has major money and persecution issues to work through, but pre-incarnately decides to narrow this lifetime’s focus to resolving two particular relationships, then money and persecution problems will not affect the soul much during this lifetime —…

T-Shirts: A Fun, Silly Side Project, Plus a Lyme Book Update

I wasn’t going to mention this on my blog; in fact, I created these t-shirts on a whim, released them into the Universe and then promptly forgot about them. When I create something visual, I get so immersed in the present moment and then move onto the next thing, fully immersing in that. Sweet Faery Twin Tania Marie reminded me of the t-shirts by posting one of herself wearing the one I designed and sent among her birthday gifts:

IMG_3096

It features a teal fairy and script reading “Fairy Important Person.” She shared a closeup photo, too, and people started asking where she got her shirt. You can find it here, in several color options. 🙂

That reminded me that I created a text only version, along with some “Wyrd is the Word” shirts, all of which you can find here.

They were a fun diversion after creating Reiki Level 2 Symbols: A Guided Practice Journal and Lyme Journal: A Guided Recovery Workbook, as well as the synchronicity, answered prayer and dream journals.

In any case, those are some behind the scenes projects I worked on last fall and winter, before reading back to back Tolkien novels, traveling and getting back to painting. I always have some kind of creative project flowing in the garden, house, writing, painting, or something else. I just rarely think to mention the smaller creations, even though I have so much fun doing them.

For those of you eagerly awaiting The Metaphysics of Lyme book, I’ve given myself a break until June, and then I’ll focus on editing and releasing that book sometime in late 2019. I appreciate your patience. Visual arts fill my well. Writing — though I do a lot of it — pulls from that well, so I periodically need to refill my well in order to continue writing. The good news is that I talk each week with so many clients dealing with Lyme disease that I have constant material rising to the surface for inclusion and revamping in the book, in order to create the most valuable Lyme resource I can.

In the meantime, Lyme Journal encourages readers to delve into deeper patterns and self-healing possibilities for people with Lyme or any other chronic illness/injury that hasn’t responded well to traditional treatments.

What can I say? I’ve got four planets in Gemini and Virgo Rising — lots of Mercury in my chart. Change is good for me, but I eventually cycle back to old projects with new insights and energy. My process just takes awhile for more complex creations. 🙂
