In the past 48 hours I’ve heard about two couples familiar to me, one of whom has been married for many years, the other a strong, bonded, romantic couple for only the past few months, and both these couples are now at each other’s throats. Why? Not over small, stubborn, personal issues. No. Instead, over something seemingly much more abstract, “issues” having to do with how one sees the entire world, or in short, one’s world view.

In both these cases, one person in each couple has been red- pilling his or her self and the other has not. So my question: is this phenomenon now being repeated all across the country?

If you haven’t heard the phrase “red-pilling,” it’s a convenient way to indicate that one is no longer “taking the blue pill,” no longer inside The Matrix that programs us to be-LIE-ve in culturally sanctioned illusions that get and keep us dumbed down and passive.

As I look back, I realize that my own introduction to seeing through the matrix began with the Kennedy assasination. One might call that event my initiation into adulthood. This stunning, out-of-nowhere, obviously evil deed, the gory details of which were  broadcast over and over again on the television, took place not even one month prior to my 21st birthday. Even then, I sensed that something was very wrong with the explanations, but I had no idea what, and buried my distrust for many years, until one Saturn cycle later, when Oliver Stone’s 1991 movie JFK brought it up again for the culture to review.

But not just that.

Just noticed this, but it’s always true. Many couples begin to look like each other. Some people and animals take on each others qualities. For me it’s the land. My garden and I are one.

I have been getting the same message lately about the state of our world: things have gone so far beyond what normal “doing” can remedy that it’s time for magic, magick, mgieck … whatever you call it, it’s time to tap in, dig deep, and empower those wands, spells, prayers, and beliefs in miracles.

With all the debate about Second Amendment rights, I’ve done some major soul searching. I don’t own a gun, and I don’t desire to own a gun. Mars Retrograde and Astrology for the Second Half of 2018

I finally had a chance to listen to this excellent Rune Soup podcast talking about Mars Retrograde today, June 26th through August 27th. Gordon White and Austin Coppock also discuss  Uranus in Taurus and Venus Retrograde, giving historical background to help predict the future. The beginning features some teenage boy humor about “Ur-anus,” but the entire show is well worth a listen.

I can’t help noticing just how timely this Mars Rx coincides with the Board’s projected decision time for so many of the issues affecting our neighborhood. Summer Solstice, Astrology and Earth Changes

Happy Summer Solstice to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere! (And Happy Winter Solstice to my readers in the Southern Hemisphere!) May the light of clarity continue to dawn and shine, both inside and outside ourselves. I’ve noticed clarity as a major theme in recent sessions, so I thought I’d make a special post about some upcoming space alignments, along with an update on Uranus in Taurus.

Even if you don’t believe in astrology, the following video shares physical Earth effects of a very rare planetary alignment we’ll experience from July 19th-early September. The lead-up has begun, with all the gas giants already on one side of the Sun.
