December 2020 Forecast and North Node Horoscopes

DECEMBER 2020 FORECAST

This year sprints to the finish line with as much intensity as January 2020 ushered in. We began the year with a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer on January 10, followed by a monumental one-time exact conjunction between Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn on January 12. Although these two planets come together every 37 years or so, the last Saturn-Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn triggered the Protestant Reformation. In other words, it was a big, cosmic deal! With long lasting effects. The energy of this meeting carried throughout the year with near almost-meetings between Saturn and Pluto. Jupiter’s journey through Capricorn in 2020 only magnified the impact.

December 2020 echoes January 2020 because on Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, and the day the Sun moves into Capricorn — Jupiter and Saturn come together at 0 degrees Aquarius. Then, a little over a week later on the 29th, we have a rare second Full Moon in Cancer this year. In layman’s terms, this is like a Blue Moon on steroids.

Without getting too technical, the Jupiter-Saturn Conjunction on December 21 ushers in a new Age of Air after a 200-year Age of Earth. We’re talking about a seismic energy shift for the collective. This second Full Moon in Cancer occurs with very precise links to the collective North Node destiny point and Jupiter’s positions during the first Full Moon in Cancer. You can think of this as the dramatic bold print and highlighter of emotions. Feelings that flickered through and were repressed (eclipsed) during the January 10 Full Moon Lunar Eclipse will be undeniable on and after December 29.

History will continue unpacking 2020 for a long time to come — especially the ways it affected our personal, private, home lives vs. authority, leaders and traditional structures.

A dreamy, sweet spot for the month occurs on December 5, when Venus makes a supportive trine to Neptune. The Love Goddess flashes her dazzling smile on the planet of Higher Love. This is a great day for creative projects, romance and compassion. Enjoy the energies, as we’ll need them amidst another intense month after many intense months.

December 14 brings a New Moon in Sagittarius and a Total Solar Eclipse. The last eclipse of the season demands communication about old patterns and the way things have been. Some of the revelations will feel dark and heavy, but at least they’re up for collective discussion. Communication can heal, especially when discussing formerly secret, dysfunctional and abusive things. Most New Moons offer a kind of monthly reset; this one offers a “never again” kind of reset. Clarity about what truly needs to change in order for humanity to embrace its true destiny and best path forward.

Overall, December 2020 will feel intense, but also like a culmination to an extremely intense and productive year. Take some time to ponder all the ways you made it through. This year was a huge learning opportunity, and those don’t always feel fun. It’s final exam time. We’re not finished learning, but 2020 has been a significant step in human evolution. Allow yourself to celebrate your own strength and ability to learn and implement new things. Whether you did so willingly or kicking and screaming, you changed a lot this year. Give credit where credit’s due.

How December 2020’s sky weather affects you will vary, depending on your entire natal chart, but your North Node Horoscope transcends monthly sky events. That’s because your North Node reveals what your soul came here to do. By midlife, the soul starts longing and pressing us to live our true purpose. At first, it whispers through intuition. Then it knocks a little louder through “coincidences” and external events. When not heard and honored, the soul’s longing can show up as health crises, marriage or work issues, or wondering “is this all there is?” If you feel a need to reinvent yourself, following North Node guidance helps you do that authentically — for you.

Unlike generic Sun Sign horoscopes, which ignore so many other aspects, following North Node guidance will always lead you in the right direction. Doors open, healing happens, relationships improve, and life gets more magical. This monthly column will help you tap into your personal North Node Mojo. When you start living your North Node purpose, we all win, because you not only begin to light up your own life. You light up the world.           – Laura

You can find your North Node sign here which is often different than your Sun sign. (If you’re right on a cusp, consider both options, or book a reading for more clarity.)

DECEMBER 2020 NORTH NODE HOROSCOPES

ARIES NORTH NODE: December is the last full month Aries ruler Mars will be in his home sign. Mars usually spends only six weeks in each sign, but a long retrograde had him activating your North Node sign from June 27, 2020 until January 6, 2021. That’s ten times the activation of a normal Mars transit. Now that Mars is moving forward again, you can expect more clarity and vigor regarding destiny level urges and desires. Beginning December 21, the Sun will shine light on your nodal axis — where your soul has been and where you’re headed. Remember, a small shift in perspective allows you to change frustration and anger into determination. Summon the energy to complete something before the end of the year. It doesn’t need to be a big thing, but finishing a commitment will make you feel better about all of 2020. Release something you no longer need on the 29th’s Full Moon. It’s been a long year: time to move on!

TAURUS NORTH NODE: This is a powerful, dramatic month for Taurus North Node natives. Allow yourself the time to process change. Even positive change requires integration. Justice and a sense of completion are themes for this last month of the year. Take stock of what you’ve acquired in 2020. Skills, tools, surroundings: it all matters. You are learning to build and celebrate a better world. This creation takes time, and that’s OK. Slow, steady shifts are less traumatic and more sustainable. Take the long term view. Even if your year feels incomplete, note whatever has run its course. If you look for them, you’re bound to find areas where you’ve made solid progress. No one else knows what kind of inner transformation it took for you to make those steps. Spend some quiet time puttering and arranging things the way you like them. You have time now. Events will ramp up in January.

GEMINI NORTH NODE: If you’ve felt trapped by illusions, reaching for the light in a long, dark tunnel, the good news is that it’s always darkest before the dawn. Gemini North Node natives have felt a lot of pressure this Fall, more so than most signs. With the transiting North Node moving through your sign and reordering life according to destiny, plus quincunx demands from Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn in Capricorn, it may have felt like you “can’t catch a break” and “where’s your happy ending?” On December 17 and 19, heavyweights Saturn then Jupiter move into fellow Air Sign Aquarius, heralding a new Age of Air after 200 years of Earth energy. Change takes time to integrate, but Gemini North Node natives are here to embrace and revel in change. Yes, you can twist and turn and even dance your way to happier times. Allow some of that zany Aquarian energy to shake up your routines and anything stuck. Aquarius and Gemini are great friends. Keep going. More compatible companions and energies are on the way.

CANCER NORTH NODE: The biggest events in December for Cancer North Node natives are the Winter Equinox/Saturn/Jupiter conjunction on December 21st, and the Full Moon at 10:28 p.m. Eastern time on the 29th. Winter Equinox marks the transition from Sun into your South Node sign of Capricorn, where for the next 30 days, it will highlight old issues, relationship patterns and expectations. As the Sun sheds light on these areas, you’ll need to remind yourself to remain open to emotions. There is a surprising strength in vulnerability. This is the Second Full Moon in Cancer in 2020, and this “Long Night’s Moon” asks you to evaluate how you’ve changed since January. What endings brought new beginnings? In which ways did life challenge you to give more freely? How did life restructure itself in support of softer, more heartfelt priorities? 2020 was a challenging year. Be sure to claim the reward for your hard work.

LEO NORTH NODE: If you’ve been waiting for your ships to arrive, continue to have faith that good, new things are on the horizon. The Universe wants you to succeed. Sometimes it just takes patience in order for things to turn your way. What makes you feel young at heart? Fill some of your waiting time by doing more of those things. Leo’s need to play. Jupiter and Saturn are moving into your South Node sign in mid-December. Resist tendencies to get too serious, group-oriented or emotionally detached. You need to live from a place of joy and natural instinct. Get off your electronic devices for a good stretch each day! Step away from your desk and social media. You’ll feel more emotionally grounded if you get into your body and out in nature. Take advantage of the first three weeks of December as the Sagittarius Sun shines supportive light on your destiny and business ventures. Pay attention to passion and desires that arise, and give yourself permission to pursue them.

VIRGO NORTH NODE: Maintain mental clarity this holiday season by minimizing any tendencies to zone out with sugar or alcohol. You’re much stronger and more grounded when you stick to diet and exercise. You can ease up on intensity, but don’t get too far off track. You’ll feel so much better if you eat healthy foods and make time to meditate, walk or run. Modify your routine rather than throwing it out. For you, it’s much easier to keep a good thing going than to crawl out of a bad habit again and again. Give yourself the gift of strength, and don’t be afraid to live a life of true abundance. Focus on grounded support — both giving and receiving. You have an ability to inspire others through your own discipline. When you live your best self, you model what’s possible for others. You can make the mundane sacred by devoting yourself to life’s little details.

LIBRA NORTH NODE: In mid-December, Saturn and Jupiter join forces in fellow Air Sign Aquarius, finally offering expansive and supportive energy to Libra North Node natives. Just having these two heavyweights out of Capricorn will feel like a relief. Meanwhile, the transiting North Node continues trining Libra from Air Sign Gemini. Instead of feeling so pushed and pressed, Libra North Node natives will start feeling some wind beneath their wings: success and rejuvenation on a destiny level. Just remember that victories taste sweeter when shared with others. Uplift and inspire by partnering with those who may not have your courage or confidence. Find balance in all things, especially in the active and receptive. When in doubt, err on the side of a little too much generosity. Reach out and make someone’s day by showing them you care.

SCORPIO NORTH NODE: If you feel stuck or unable to let go of emotions, or situations in your life, try moving out physical items. ‘Tis the season for giving. Do you really need all of that old stuff?! Belongings hold energy. If you haven’t used it or looked at it in five years, can you think of someone who could? When you give away that which no longer serves, you open room for the kind of abundance you do need. Is it health? Emotional support? A sense that your day will finally arrive? When you recognize such abundance that you can give some away, you move from a space of lack to one of receiving that which you truly need. If you put your faith in externals beyond your control, you will never feel secure. Practice surrendering to a Higher Power. Cultivate an ability to recognize that which remains eternal amidst constant change. Thou art that.

SAGITTARIUS NORTH NODE: The Sun’s in your sign for three weeks. Enjoy the clarity it offers as the collective South Node continues bringing up old patterns and relationships for review. This focus on old relationships intensifies mid-month with a New Moon Total Solar Eclipse on December 14. Love Goddess Venus enters Sagittarius the very next day, bringing grace, beauty and self-esteem. Count your blessings this month and aim to reclaim the best of the old while sparking new passion and zest for life. Be bold and wear red. ‘Tis the season to bring the light and bright to darker, heavier energies. People turn to you for the unvarnished truth. You know more than you think you do. Choose one area where you’d like to deepen your studies and experience. If you’ve been going stir crazy with travel restrictions, find a way to satisfy that urge. Road trip to Air BnB’s, watch travel videos, or read a novel set where you want to go. Reignite your sense of adventure.

CAPRICORN NORTH NODE: Jupiter and Saturn finish their journey through Capricorn, with Saturn moving to Aquarius on the 17th, followed by Jupiter on the 19th. Saturn won’t return to his home sign of Capricorn until 2048, so git ‘er done! On Winter Solstice, December 21, when Jupiter and Saturn meet in Aquarius, the Sun moves into Capricorn, shining light on your North Node sign for the next month. Pay attention to any insights you receive on or around the Full Moon on the 29th. Use this time to assess how you’ve changed this year. What new structures and foundations have you built? How have you re-balanced any tendencies to over-give? How has your health improved by setting boundaries and managing your emotions? Continue focusing on best of the old while ushering in improvements and upgrades. Cultivating an awareness of two worlds will help you navigate big events with greater ease. When you partner with the guiding force of the Universe, life becomes a dance.

AQUARIUS NORTH NODE: On December 17, Saturn moves into Aquarius, followed by Jupiter on the 19th and their Great Conjunction on Winter Solstice. This change in the winds begins to activate destiny level shifts in your North Node sign. Jupiter will expand and supercharge Aquarius for 12 months, while Saturn remains for 2.5 years. As Father Time and Lord of Karma, Saturn has a special relationship with the North Node. You might feel a cosmic “ahem,” urging you to evaluate where you’re on path and where you need to adjust your approach. Yours is an innovative sign. If you feel pressured or restricted, ask, “What am I missing?” and “I wonder what solutions I’m about to find?” Some of these solutions will probably seem counter-intuitive, but a higher order guides your process.  Now would be a good time to explore your natal chart or deepen astrology studies. Carve out time for “flighty” pursuits and things that “float your boat.” A zany new interest could change your life in profound ways.

PISCES NORTH NODE: If you catch yourself worrying about things beyond your control, close your eyes and allow yourself to feel the emotions. Getting stuck in your head doesn’t serve you. As Helen Keller said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched — they must be felt with the heart.” Tune into the magic and childlike wonder of this season. Creative pursuits bring delight, and so do children. If you can’t spend the holidays in person with younger loved ones, try some other means of connection. Remember to balance external obligations with your internal needs. You’ll move through life more efficiently if you take some time each day to mediate and/or center yourself. This month could bring friction in relationships and questions of your own self-value. You have what it takes to navigate these challenges. Lead with Spirit and let the 3D world follow along. When in doubt, paint, sing or dance it out.

Gratitude!

Happy Thanksgiving! I just want to say a quick thank you to all my blog readers, clients, friends and family. Thank you for making this world a richer, more beautiful place. Many blessings on this day and always …

Gemini Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse ~ November 30, 2020

At 4:31 a.m. Eastern US time on November 30, 2020, we’ve got a Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse at 8°38′ Gemini. This is a North Node Eclipse, in that the transiting North Node will be at 19°53′ Gemini. While not a close conjunction, in context of a possible 360°, the energies of Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse and the collective’s North Node flag this as a destiny level transit.

For me personally, this event occurs exactly between my natal Mercury and Venus. On the collective level, this Full Moon will quincunx Venus at 10°57′ Scorpio. Again, it’s not an exact hit, but we’ll all feel the influence. Quincunx energies feel uncomfortable, with an urge to integrate things that seemingly have nothing in common. Connecting Venus and a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse increases tensions in relationships, love, creative expression of emotions, and a need to find new balance in what and how we value things, including inner being.

Love Goddess Venus in deep, dark, smoldering Scorpio will also oppose volatile Uranus and Black Moon Lilith in Taurus. Whenever Uranus and Black Moon Lilith come together, they seem to bring out extra levels of surprise, change and reactivity. Plan ahead for this potential: be aware of any urge to fly off the handle. Uranus brings liberation, and Black Moon Lilith in her highest expression gets us back in touch with our inner Wild Woman. Approached in a conscious way, this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse offers a chance for radical self-acceptance. Reacted to in an unconscious way, this combo could urge intense projections onto “the Other.” Pause before you project. Breathe it all in and out, then assess the situation.

On collective and personal levels, new information about emotions and relationships (Moon) will be obscured (eclipsed) and then revealed. Gemini deals with duality, so some of this new information might feel counter-intuitive or contradictory. Do your best to roll with it. This is a powerful, collective destiny level event, which means it’s necessary to human evolution.

Because of the eclipse, the meaning will probably not seem clear at first. As it starts to become clear, it will probably do so through a lens of “this and that are true.” For more ideas of how this could play out, please see:

Astrology King: Full Moon November 30, 2020 — Lunar Eclipse

and

AstroButterfly: Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse in Gemini — Disclosure

Energies remain intense for quite awhile longer. Most people are at least a little bit on edge, some more than others. Remember to spend time in Nature, and pay attention to any dreams, especially around the time of the eclipse. As the collective roils and boils, we’ve all got our own internal super volcanoes churning from the depths of the Unconscious and Subconscious. Everything reveals itself in the proper time and way, despite appearances.

When we lean into the energies of big events, we get more out of them. They also tend to carry us along instead of knocking us off our feet. Whatever surprises arrive before, during and especially after the eclipse, try to play with the information. Curiosity might kill the proverbial cat, but curiosity saves the Gemini. Open your mind. You can usher in delight when you allow yourself to realize that “this and that are true.”

Timothy Glenn ~ 2020: The Turning of the Tables

This post from March 23, 2020 seems apt again.

Laura Bruno's Blog

At long last, Timothy Glenn’s 2020 article: well worth the wait!

2020: The Turning of the Tables

by Timothy Glenn

The Turning of the Tides would also have been an appropriate title, but the tides turned in 2017. Now the effects of that turning of the tides in 2017 are beginning to become visible to the population at large. Some of the more obvious effects that we will be able to see (with 20/20 vision) this year will be made evident in The Turning of the Tables: that is, the gaming tables in the human world.

As far back as our conscious memory reaches, those gaming tables have been dominated by the power brokers of the Old Guard. Traditionally, the dice have been loaded, the decks have been stacked, the tables have been tilted, and the scales have been weighted; and not in our favor. May the odds be ever…

At the Threshold of Jupiter Conjunct Saturn

I keep having dreams of doors, latches that cannot and should not be locked, and thresholds. I also keep having bizarre experiences at the threshold of my office. These feel orchestrated, “impossible,” and then, upon further investigation link to a spiderweb of dreams going back decades.

I shared some of these threshold experiences in other posts:

Aftermath, New Moon in Taurus: Starting Over from Zero

The Hermit is Active!

The Lion Dream

Last night as I crossed the threshold of my office, my left knee bent and my leg involuntarily lifted itself up high, then smashed my heel right on the raised wooden threshold. It hurt, but not too bad — more like a dramatic way of getting my attention. This linked to the experience I described on October 25, 2020, where — after a potent dream — the glass of water I was holding as I approached this same threshold spontaneously sprinkled water over the wooden threshold, like a sacred offering.

Because of the connection between the experiences, I looked up my reblog of Aftermath, New Moon in Taurus: Starting Over from Zero … only to discover another web of dream, astrology and “real” life synchronicities. It’s like a fractal of synchronicities. Because of so many recent dreams about doors and thresholds, I’ve been asking, “Which threshold?”

This article from AstroButterfly came through as I sat down at my desk. It confirmed a persistent sense I’ve had about the upcoming Jupiter Saturn Conjunction at 0° Aquarius on Winter Solstice. (11:11 a.m. right this moment as I type!)

In addition to powerful collective implications, this Great Conjunction occurs within 1° of my natal Aquarius Moon, so I’ve been tracking it for awhile. I also had potent initiatory experiences last Winter Solstice Eve, and David and I got married on Winter Solstice 2016. Is this the threshold my dreams say I’m approaching? Time will tell.

Certainly we, as a collective, are in a doorway of some sort. Where does it lead? Despite all the chaos and uncertainty of our times, my dreams continue to show me a beautiful future. Yes, it involves a death and rebirth in order to get there, but from what I’ve seen, it’s worth the Plutonian journey. I encourage everyone to check out the post Jupiter Conjunct Saturn — A New Order, as it gives an easy to understand overview of the coming energies.

I’ll leave you with two recent photos of the threshold to my office, both recent activations. The first I shared in the Hermit is Active post:

The Hermit Portal by Laura Bruno

After a powerful, spiritual and expansive vision, I came home to find light hitting the portal so that the lantern lit up the image, as though real. The second photo is from a couple days later, same threshold but with the door open.

I later noticed that I emailed it to myself at 5:55 p.m. As I shared in my repeating numbers post:

Repeating 5’s indicate big changes on the way. Even good changes can feel stressful, so prepare yourself for shifts. When you see 555’s, get focused on what you do want instead of repeating all the things you don’t want. If you feel frustrated at the slowness of changes, know that they are coming. If you’ve wanted out of something, put whatever things in place you’ll need for when that something falls away. Affirmation: (The Serenity Prayer) “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

11:22 now as I type. On the outside of this same threshold is The Messenger owl from Orgonia — a Winter Solstice 2017 gift from my friend/Soul Bro Mitch:

The Messengers plaque by Orgonia

This plaque, in turn, was inspired by a series of synchronicities that Bo shares in the product description:

“Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see.”
Carl Jung

This much larger owl plaque was inspired by an uncanny spate of “owl synchronicities” that happened to me this last (2015) Thanksgiving. As the synchronicities began to pile up over the space of a week I began to reconstruct where the whole affair had probably begun.
A synopsis – my family was on a jaunt to Houston, TX (where much of my extended family lives,) and one of our excursions took us to the Menil Museum which houses an extensive collection of African masks and ritual objects. Particularly arresting were the owl effigies and in particular this one at which I lingered for some time:

The next day we were treated to a private showing of a wonderful little documentary (Rara Avis) about John Audubon in which his owl prints figured prominently.

Then upon returning home on Monday Orgonia started getting orders for owl plaques one after another – four in a row – one order being for 5 plaques – with the final tally being 8 owl plaques ordered consecutively. The first owl plaque had been ordered by someone who lived a few miles from the Austin, TX airport from which we had flown home. The last order in the “run” came in from Australia.

As this pattern was unfolding I emailed my friend Laura Bruno, whose “alternative” blog is one of my favorites, to get her reaction and feedback. Owl synchronicities are a much rumored if still obscure phenomenon, but I figured if anyone had some interesting chatter about this it would be Laura. The very next day she sent me an exclamatory email linking to that mornings’s debut on Amazon of a 400 page collection of owl synchronicity stories which book I highly recommend (“E. Long” is my Amazon reviewer name.)

Make of this what you will it certainly grabbed my attention and set me on the road to coming up with a bigger owl statement in my orgonite plaque line up. This Great Horned Owl has the gravitas and refinement I was looking for. It’s a big hunk of orgonite energy beaming out through the eyes of potent being.

All of this comes full spiral to ongoing owl synchronicities shared on my blog, as well as me sharing my experiences in Mike Clelland’s book, Stories from the Messengers and in an interview on The Unseen Podcast. Here’s my review of The Messengers, mentioned in Bo’s product writeup.

What does it all mean? I don’t know, but these synchronicities, owls, doors and threshold activations seem very precise and ongoing. If you enjoy rabbit holes, I recommend all the links in this post. If you only read one, though, do check out AstroButterfly’s post about Jupiter Conjunct Saturn on Winter Solstice 2020. That’s a collective transit, but as with SO many collective transits this past year plus, it hits my chart in a very personal way. It doesn’t get much more personal than something conjuncting one’s natal Moon.

Blessings, courage, love and magic to all, as we approach the threshold.

Repeat Numbers, Signs and Manifestation

This one wants up again. Lots of repeating numbers …

Laura Bruno's Blog

So many clients book sessions after seeing number sequences, signs and other synchronicities. They want to know if they’re “crazy” for believing in things not yet seen based on repeat numbers, dreams or coincidences. I usually say something like, “No, you’re not crazy, but interpretation is key. Let’s explore.” I include here the most frequent number “meanings” I encounter, based on 17 years as a medical intuitive and synchronicity guide. Individual results can vary, as the whole picture remains important, but this list will give you a good start:

Repeating 1’s tell you to watch your thoughts because you’re in a manifestation gateway. If you like your thoughts, great! If the 111’s occur with negative thoughts, explore your fears to see if making adjustments now will troubleshoot and strengthen the overall feeling of your intention. If you seek liberation, joy, or success, lean into those feelings as primary rather than…

New Moon in Scorpio: Dreams, a Trojan War T-Square, and Peace

Happy New Moon in Scorpio! The November 15, 2020 New Moon occurs at 12:07 a.m. Eastern US time, at 23° 17′ Scorpio. Dane Rudhyar’s Sabian Symbol for Scorpio 24° (always round up for Sabian Symbols) is:

PHASE 234 (SCORPIO 24°): AFTER HAVING HEARD AN INSPIRED INDIVIDUAL DELIVER HIS “SERMON ON THE MOUNT,” CROWDS ARE RETURNING HOME.

KEYNOTE: The need to incorporate inspiring experiences and teachings into everyday living.

Today we hear a great deal about “peak experiences” (Maslow). The great problem facing everyone who has had such experiences is how to assimilate what has been felt, seen or heard, and how to let it transform his everyday consciousness and behavior. If this is not done the experience may turn confusing or toxic and perhaps destructive of the integrity of the person.

This fourth symbol as usual suggests to us what has to be done or how to do it. The “return home” from the high mountain, or from any “upper chamber” of the consciousness, may lead to a sense of oppression by the normal realities of existence, or else the soul that has been illuminated may retain enough of that light to transfigure every daily situation. This is the great CHALLENGE TO TRANSFORMATION.

(Laura again) In other words, the message of this monthly reset is one close to my heart (12:34 as I type this right now): Blessed Be, and be the blessing. Find ways to bring inspiration into everyday living.

Whereas last month’s New Moon formed a potent T-square with Pluto/Jupiter/Saturn in Capricorn and Mars in Aries, this month’s New Moon sextiles that cluster in Capricorn. Mars has retrograded back into the 15° Aries range, so it’s not (much) in the mix. The sextile offers harmonious, supportive energy in terms of the New Moon itself. With Scorpio and Pluto involved, we can expect depth and continued revelations, but the Sun/Moon conjunction brings healing rather than extreme tension and destiny level psychic visions like last month’s.

I planned to leave the astro analysis there, except some very insistent, repeated dreams last night forced my attention elsewhere. I’ll begin by sharing the most relevant part of last night’s dream, copied from my dream journal:

11/14/2020

I had the 1st part of this dream in the wee hours of the morning, and [my Dream Guys] told me to get up. I said, “Come on, Guys, I’m tired. If it’s so important, give it to me again or make me remember it.”

Vivid imagery of Randy (neighbor) driving to the T-Square from ____ to ____. I was walking South, just kept walking because I wasn’t really in obvious view since my back was to him. He got out of his truck and climbed on the roof. He stood in a cross position (or T-Square) with arms wide and said very loud, “Laura!”

I turned around, and he was staring right at me in that position. I was supposed to notice him, and whenever he said, “Laura!” I would, in real life, slam my jaw together like cymbals, which would kind of wake me up. … It was a really hard slam, many times. I am missing something and supposed to pay attention. Other dream symbols repeated from recent dreams, too. Cymbals/symbols. T-Square is also a repeat from a recent dream.

The dream continued, and it referenced/repeated symbols from earlier dreams in the past two weeks; however, the T-square is the part relevant to the November 15, 2020 New Moon in Scorpio.

I’ve included my 11/8/2020 T-square dream below. I’m NOT including my own possible interpretations on the collective or personal levels. I’m also not including many pages of dreams I’ve had in the past two weeks where bizarrely specific details have come true in the news cycle of the next 4-36 hours. I will just confirm that my usual highly precognitive dreams seem to be on super precognitive overload.

In addition, I keep having dreams with red snakes, red worms, red Sharpie’s, red velvet carpeting, and various forms of “sting.”

Although I do have some ideas about this long series of dreams, I don’t claim to know the definitive meanings. I also sense there are both personal and collective meanings, some of which dovetail, some of which occur on very different levels. I had not planned to share any of these dreams in any kind of public way, but the repeat dreams and the dramatic emphasis on T-squares, plus slamming my jaw shut like the clang of cymbals really grabbed my attention.

Last month’s Libra New Moon occurred in a T-square, but this morning’s research revealed that the chart for tonight’s Scorpio New Moon features a T-square with other planets. I’ll get into those astro aspects after sharing the other recent T-square dream:

11/8/2020
“Stinging Nettles on the Porch”

There was a pot of stinging nettles on an enclosed porch. It was dry and almost entirely withered, but parts of the plant still able to sting. In order to get into the house, it needed to be harvested. A woman reached in with her bare hands, ready to harvest it. She was not brave but totally unaware of how things worked. I almost couldn’t watch, knowing her bare hands were about to get very painfully stung.

Looking at her reaction to the withered nettles, you would think someone left her a giant bouquet of flowers, but it was an ugly plant — totally past its prime. No beauty left in the plant, but also not properly dried to use safely. It was going to hurt her hands. I didn’t want to watch the spectacle once the stingers hit her hands. She would drop the pot and howl.

Then, I was with someone else — a man, I think, in the back of a large truck cab — the kind used to haul groceries and other things across the country. There used to be a man and his wife driving this cab, and we felt safe. The man’s wife had left him, and he was driving very recklessly. The man in the back of the cab with me looked at me like, “Are you noticing this?! What can we do?”

The driver stopped at an intersection, a T-square, and we all got out. Suddenly the driver was nowhere to be seen. Instead there was a tall, manly woman insisting she was the new driver. She looked a little like _____ (“wind change woman” shamanic name), but it wasn’t her. I recognized her from somewhere before, but she disavowed that party — where I’d seen her.

She got in the drivers’ seat and stuck out her calf. She wanted us to feel her very muscular calf, … but I wasn’t going to participate or trust her to drive. I refused to get into the cab with someone I didn’t really know, who just appeared, disavowed the party I’d met her at, and now demanded to drive.

I didn’t know what the man I was with would do, but I said I would walk and started walking along the highway.

All of this must have flashed into my head as I watched the woman on the porch about to grab the withered nettles with her bare hands, because I saw her reaching for the plant again at the end.

….

End of that dream.

As I reread this dream, it jumps out at me that scorpions, the symbol for the Scorpio New Moon, have stingers. Other recent dreams have mentioned a sting or stingers, too, and my sweet Faery Twin Tania Marie recently shared how she got a very strange and dramatic sting on her elbow.

The T-square for tonight’s New Moon involves Venus at 22° Libra square Pluto/Jupiter/Pallas Athene at 22-23° Capricorn and opposite/square Eris at 23° Aries.

Eris is the goddess of discord. In Greek mythology, she tossed the apple of discord into the wedding celebration of Peleus and Thetis. This apple was to be a prize of beauty, and it triggered a vanity inspired fight among Hera, Aphrodite (Venus) and Athena (Pallas). This fight among the goddesses then triggered the Trojan War.

In other words, my dream alerted me to look for a T-square, possibly connected to tonight’s New Moon in Scorpio. Talk about a doozie of a T-square! Not only does it directly involve Eris, Venus/Aphrodite, and Pallas/Athene, but the Pallas/Athene focal point of this T-square gets mega-amplified by Jupiter conjunct Pluto. Jupiter expands whatever he touches, and Pluto rules the Underworld, the Shadow, and the sign of Scorpio. Pluto knows how to sting, and that kind of sting comes from the depths. With Pallas, Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn, we might expect that sting from the depths to involve rules, traditions, protocols and structures.

Of all the goddesses, Pallas Athene is probably most associated with democracy, since Athena was the patron of Athens, the birthplace of democracy. This T-square at the New Moon in Scorpio comes in the midst of the most controversial election in US history. Pluto destroys in order to regenerate, and we can see this energy in the tsunamis of disillusion (or dissolution) of faith in our voting system. For one party, this destruction came in 2016, for the other party in 2020. Meanwhile, the world is watching the country that positions itself as the standard of democracy somehow unable or unwilling to determine who won.

In astrology, Pallas Athene is associated with owls, pattern recognition, the arts, and the Midheaven. Venus is goddess of love and relationships, now in Libra, one of her home signs, symbolized by the balanced scales of justice. Eris is sometimes thought of as the Faery who wasn’t invited to Sleeping Beauty’s Christening and then cursed her to prick her finger on the spinning needle. (Another “sting.”) The maxim “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned” seems a lot like Eris.

In another part of my dream journal, I commented about the nettles, “This is going to hurt a lot of innocent people who know nothing about the properties of stinging nettles. The woman on the porch will drop the pot, and it will shatter. She will be very hurt and angry from the sting. She thought it was a bouquet of flowers, but it’s not.”

In nettles, the antidote to the sting is actually in the nettles themselves, and this seems like good medicine for this Scorpio New Moon with its powerful Trojan War trigger T-square. This is not a time for careless reactivity. Nettles, like Eris and Pluto, demand respect. If you wander through a stand of nettles, you will not forget that sting. It burns from the inside out and keeps burning for a long time, unless you know where to find and how to apply the antidote. If you chew up nettle leaves, the juice in the leaves soothes their sting.

This is another way of saying the Bible verse:

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?  Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?  You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. ~ Matthew 7:3-5

Please do not underestimate the powerful energies vying for our attentions right now. Healing is possible. Healing is offered. May we each seek for truth, both inside and outside ourselves. May we remember the Mayan idea of Hunab Ku: “You are another myself.” This concept is similar to the yin yang symbol, uniting opposites. I will leave you with a powerful synchronicity I shared with a friend on 11/11/2020:

Last night, David and I were watching ETs Among Us, Part 3. …Then I nodded off for a little while (very unusual for me). All of a sudden it was like something shook me awake, and the video’s showing a crop circle of a yin yang sign, showing it from above, then from ground level, then panning above and showing the yin in the yang.

This jumped out at me because of almost shaking me awake right at that moment, but also because I had just this morning said this: “They” have a curious sense of humor. Over the course of my life, I’ve occasionally had dreams showing that “this and that are true,” panning back and seeing the yin in the yang, etc.

Wow, it is now 3:33, and I went to look for an image of the yin yang crop circle. I came upon this video right at 3:33, and noted the time length of 3:33:

Peace!

Shamanic Gardening

I’ve had some recent snake dreams, and the one this morning featuring “snakes that seemed fake or dead” reminded me of this everyday magical sequence of events in July 2017. Rereading the post, I realized it also ties into yesterday’s dream about fortifying the foundation of an actual threshold — a doorway in the dream. This post, in turn, features doors, locks, thresholds and a real and fake snake. I’m curious to see what my recent dreams end up meaning on both personal and collective levels. They seem more multilayered than usual.

Laura Bruno's Blog

I’m making up for very sparse blogging the past month in otherwise unusable time chunks set aside for various repairs and upgrades. Today it was five new, matching locks on three doors. Because we bought an older house, the locksmith wasn’t sure how long it would take, but now I have some extra time before I get busy again with sessions.

As the locksmith left, I felt called to plant some of the potted up strawberries into the existing groundcover in front of our porch. After watering them in, I second guessed myself, wondering if that would encourage mice too close to the house. I had in my Amazon queue another 100 gallon Big Bag Bed and some fake snakes that supposedly help to repel mice and possibly groundhogs. I put some veggie burgers in our air fryer, went outside to harvest a little lettuce, and what suddenly appeared at…

The Hermit is Active!

Every once in awhile, I wander into my office and see something extra magical. This afternoon, when we got home from a walk on the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail, I just happened to catch the Hermit’s lantern glowing:

The Hermit Portal by Laura Bruno

The Hermit Portal has a citrine crystal as the lantern’s “flame,” but today — just for a moment — the lantern actually lit up. It spread light around the painting as though the portal came to life. This came after a hermit-like vision I had on the car ride home.

The Hermit Portal is ACTIVE!

It reminds me of the moment in February 2018 when I walked into my office to find “Arthur” glowing:

I love my magical office. Yes, it’s sunlight — or is it?! In these stressful, uncertain times, I love sharing a little everyday magic.

Reminders of the Great Mystery, which continues to unfold whether or not we have eyes to see it.

Blessings, peace and healing to all!
