Save $8 off the usual rate for an hour of long distance Reiki, an ancient healing method rediscovered in the 19th century by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui. The “Rei” in Reiki stands for “universal” or” spiritual,” and the “ki” corresponds to the “life force energy” known as “Chi” or “prana” in other Eastern systems of healing and energy work such as feng shui, Tai Chi, Qigong, or yoga.

Thus, Reiki refers to “universal life force energy,” “divinely directed healing energy,” or “life energy of a spiritual nature,” with an emphasis on subtle energy fields rather than the physical body. By working on all the different levels, Reiki helps the body to relax into a state that allows optimal self-healing. Reiki can clear negative energies, as well as empower and support intentions and events.

This session can be scheduled for a specific time delivery while you meditate or relax, or I can set the session for delivery while you’re in deep, receptive sleep. Depending on your needs, the hour can also get delivered during an important meeting, travel or other event.

Certificates purchased in 2020 will remain valid through December 31, 2021. Since people always ask me this: no, you may not purchase a gift certificate for yourself. You can, however, request someone else get you a gift certificate. When you contact me to order a gift certificate, please let me know the name of the person you’re gifting, as well as any details you’d like me to include on the certificate. I’ll create and email you a personalized PDF, which you can email or print out for your loved one.

July 2020 Specials

Sorry for posting these late. I always intuit which energies need most support right now. I’ve had so many requests for discounted medical intuitive readings that I’ve known about the first special for over a week. The second one just presented itself to me this morning. Spiritual and Medical Intuitive Thoughts on COVID 19 Coronavirus

People keep asking me to comment publicly on the COVID-19 situation, and I find it difficult to impossible to make any kind of blanket statement. In addition to my own intuitive guidance, as well as dreams that in retrospect anticipated Wuhan and Italy, I receive on the ground reports from people I trust. I have an international blog audience and clients from around the US and around the world. Yes, many places are out of toilet paper, but beyond that, wide varieties of experience exist.

From my perspective, multiple timelines are very much in play. In addition to location, depending on your frequency, life path, choices and focus, your experience can be very different. Many of my longer term Lyme clients find other people suddenly turning to them for advice. Others I’ve trained in Reiki suddenly find themselves in a position to lead and empower. People who’ve done Shadow Work and meditation find the world starting to catch up to them.

From a Medical Intuitive perspective, I do sense multiple strains of Covid-19, two of which seem fairly innocuous, while others seem much more severe. From a bigger picture and astrological perspective, the collective needs some internal processing time, so life has rearranged to accommodate. Introverts finally feel a little more “mainstream.” I suggest everyone use whatever spiritual and emotional tools you have so that you can remain grounded from a center of love. Learn to pivot: realities and timelines are very fluid right now.

As Neitzsche said, “One must have chaos to birth a dancing star.” Whether you call it “a disturbance in the Force” or “a change in routines” or “extra bendy Time,” you can take advantage of this opening. How you do that very much depends on you, so I cannot make further general recommendations.

I always intuit which specials to offer each month, and this month’s $77 20-minute email check-in seems to have anticipated people really wanting help discerning what this time means for them. If you’d like more personalized advice, comfort or insights regarding the current world situation — or any challenge you face — please consider the email option or booking a phone session. I’m not trying to push my services on anyone. I just really do not feel in integrity to make a blanket statement when I keep seeing such a vast field of variables.

Many of those variables can become very positive, yet I don’t want to diminish real challenges some people face. For many people, this time marks a huge turning inward, and they might find some things they don’t like. For others, this time marks a huge shining outward. It just depends on who and where you are on your path. No judgement — but the “reality” feels very different in each case. Also, the remedies and way forward depend on the answer to these variables.

It’s also a terrific time to complete Reiki Master Teacher Certification training (the other March Special). If you happen to have time off from work or want to deepen skills you already have, I sense the world will need more Reiki Master Teachers in the coming months and years. If you feel stressed out or need healing support, long distance Reiki always meets the guidelines of “social distancing,” even if you can’t enjoy your usual massage or yoga class. On a personal note, I keep getting instructions to chant, chant, and chant some more. I find that sacred chants keep my natal Neptune-Mercury opposition tapping into the numinous and intuitive instead of empathing all the nonsense. Find what works for you to make the best of things.

Twenty minutes usually covers one or two questions or issues, and it includes my time reading and replying to your email, plus the time spent tuning in and interpreting any intuitive messages I receive, along with providing links (if applicable) for further details and information. If you have more complex questions, you can add time. Available if prepaid on or before March 31, 2020.

In the past, some clients have opted to combine this email special with the land clearing services I offer, and that worked so well that I’m listing this as an option here, too. Essentially, people sent me an address to request a 20-minute email reading about a property they own or considered purchasing, in which I shared my findings and suggestions, and then they requested a property clearing ($77) based on those results. In other words, this worked as an unofficial package for $154. Also available for houses or apartments.

$555 Reiki Level 3 Master Teacher Certification Special

Every once in a great while, I feel led to offer this special. I’m taking $95 off the normal rate for in-person or correspondence/phone/distance training and certification for Reiki Level 3 Master Teacher.

This special obviously does not apply to everyone, as you will need at least Reiki Level 2 Certification from me or another Reiki Master Teacher in order to qualify for the training. I also require a casual but effective application process so that I get a sense of readiness for this next level. 555 indicates divinely guided positive change, so it seems like an appropriate number for certification to teach “divinely directed healing energy,” another definition of Reiki besides “Universal Life Force Energy.”

People considering this special might find this Reiki Master Teacher FAQ post helpful in answering common questions related to discerning your own readiness and our compatibility as teacher and student. You do not need to know for sure you’d like to teach Reiki in order to take this training. You just need to feel ready to learn Reiki from the perspective of one who could teach and who has committed to living the Reiki Principles as much as possible in your own life.

For more than 16 years, many students who already received their Reiki Level 3 training from another Reiki Master Teacher have completed their second Reiki Level 3 Master Teacher Certification with me in order to increase their confidence and knowledge before going on to teach their own students. Because many teachers don’t teach others to teach, preparing Reiki Master Teachers to teach their own students has become my specialty. I honor this training process as a sacred journey and transmission.

Mastering Modern Midlife with Catherine Grace O’Connell and Laura Bruno

Today, I’m excited to share my one and only video interview. I love Catherine’s write up from her newsletter, which you can read here. We cover medical intuition, healing, Lyme disease, some of my personal story, plus an extra focus on Midlife, the healing power of creativity, and the North Nodes.

Catherine refers several times to our having recorded this interview twice, alluding to me being “a very high vibe being.” The story behind that is the reason this remains my one and only video interview. I’ve done many phone interviews, and I used to have many videos on YouTube until my channel got censored in 2011. However, I don’t do sessions or interviews via video or computer, because I have a history of blowing out nearby electronics. Doing an intuitive tune-in ramps up my energy in a big, sometimes explosive way, so I lobbied hard for using a landline on my end. I delayed too long, and Catherine and her business partner Mike stopped doing audio-only interviews. By the time we scheduled, it was video or nothing.

I warned them about my tendency to blow things out, and I surrounded my laptop with stacks of orgone pucks. I theorized that I should be OK as long as Catherine didn’t ask me to do an intuitive scan or anything too energy related in the interview. If we were just talking, and I was careful with my energy, then it should work. We had a great conversation the first time, but at one point, she asked me an intuitive question. I tuned in and when I looked directly into the camera, I blew out the equipment on their end, erasing half the interview. This had never happened before or since, and they use backup cameras and recording. It was all wiped.

Soooo, we re-recorded, and we ended up enjoying this conversation even more. You might notice me trying hard not to look too directly into the camera. If you know me in person, you’ll also notice my concerted effort in this interview not to talk with my hands. I know from Reiki classes that whoever’s in line of my right hand — the one that almost got struck by lightning — gets blasted with energy the entire class. I didn’t want to send that energy into the camera or laptop screen.

I tried so hard to keep my energy in check so we could have a successful recording this time, and it worked!

I’m sharing the behind the scenes details here, because some people ask for video sessions and may wonder if I can do a video interview, then why can’t I do a video session? Trust me, you get much better intuitive work from me when I’m not spending the bulk of my energy trying not to blow out your or my equipment! It really took a massive amount of concentration not to let too much energy spontaneously leap out.

That said, this was a super fun interview. I love how it showcases Catherine’s and my friendship, as well as the deep topics of healing and transformation we discuss. February 2020 Specials

Happy Imbolc, Happy Groundhog Day and Happy February!

I received several signs to extend the January “Three for Two” Special into February. So many people keep contacting me right at the point of breakthrough, which can seem an awful lot like “breakdown” until the new, empowered perspective clicks in. I’ve heard from many people in a state of fear, confusion or despair, who sense just a hint of higher order and encouragement.

Since healing and growth move in spirals rather than a straight line, many times you’re processing “the same things” at a different level. That doesn’t mean you’re going in circles! Think cycles — moving through the journey at the right place at the right time, doing the right thing, even if it you can’t locate where you are on the multidimensional map. That’s when it helps to have a guide. It’s a Leap Year … here’s to making a quantum leap!

The Goddess Brigid/St. Bridget is known as a great healer, so this month’s Medical Intuitive focus also feels extra appropriate.

Lyme Journal Questions and Feedback

Because a number of clients and regular blog readers purchased Lyme Journal: A Guided Recovery Workbook, I’ve received some personalized feedback and questions during sessions and via email. Two people gave me permission to share since others may have similar questions or experiences.

Reader Mia tried to leave a review on Amazon, but apparently, Amazon only lets you leave a review if you’ve spent $50 on their site in the past 12 months. For most people, this issue never arises, but I understand and support people who do not normally shop on Amazon. It just offered the easiest way for me to release this journal/guidebook in a timely manner. Mia forwarded me her intended review to post here:

The ‘Lyme Journal’ is a wonderful healing support for people on a Lyme journey. Laura Bruno has been working with people who have Lyme for years now, (myself included) and her dedication to this particular group of under recognized and often invisibly ill people, is admirable and much needed.

This book contains pages with questions for self inquiry, insight, revelation and creativity. Most of each page is blank, to journal your response to each question.

I’ve been using it, and find that my responses come quite easily, as if they were just waiting to be asked! And I joyfully read what I’ve written, my heart touched, with a delight, love and appreciation, in how far I’ve come and how much I’ve learned through this cursed/blessed experience. To look at this tremendously harrowing and debilitating illness through the lens of the heroine’s journey, is the most rewarding liberating and enlightening way…and helps to celebrate a blessing in disguise.
