Flash Silvermoon: Astroflash Monthly HOroscope for March 2013

March floats in on a wave of Neptunian splendor and doubt turning our astrological world inside out. It looks good, feels good but what is really going on? To start with, since February 23 we have had our reality swishing around in the retrograde Mercury in Pisces soup. If you have been reading Astroflash, my monthly horoscope, you have heard me speaking about negotiating the “perils” of the dreaded Mercury Retrograde and of course it really is not what you could call perilous. More about that later.

In addition to a murky retro Mercury in Pisces, the month begins with Neptune,Venus, Chiron, Sun, Mars and the Asteroid Hygeia all in Pisces! I mean I am a double Pisces at least and I am used to this kind of mystical soggy stuff but even for me this could be a bit much. Of course as we move through the month some of this will change but this Piscean prelude suggests many issues with water and flow.

If any of you have been experiencing unusual body symptoms you are not alone. One of the fun ones that I have had on and off for some 2 years is what I call “menthol head.” It is not at all painful but my head feels like it is mentholated inside and sometimes that cool extends down my shoulders. I mostly feel this when doing spiritual writing like this and I believe it has to do with intense amounts of energies that are being downloaded into my psyche, changes in the DNA, frequencies that are simply too strong for us to handle etc. I also know that many of us are having these feelings as well. Restlessness, broken sleep patterns, panic attacks, visions, odd temperature changes, old injuries re-surfacing, and some of this doesn’t sound too weird but this is just the tip of the ice berg. These symptoms are not unlike those caused by the rising of the Kundalini and are generically referred to as Ascension symptoms. If you are worried then do see a doctor ideally a holistic one and if the problem is part of this picture they will find nothing wrong with you. Those of us who have been practicing Light Workers for a long time have been having a hell of a time with this stuff as we straddle the 3rd and 5th dimensional worlds.

Part of the reason that some people have trouble with the Piscean/ Neptunian energy especially so full on, is that you can feel less in control or totally out of control. You could feel like you are spinning inside of a whirlpool which might feel warm and pleasant yet without any kind of sense of how to get out and emerge back into what you once thought was your life. You may not feel like you have any hand in how your life is to unfold. This is when the Neptunian wild card of FAITH is key. This may be a really hard one but for the most part these energies require a kind of surrender, not to some god that hurls lightning bolts at the non repentant, no but to the Cosmic Wheel of Life to the Source, to the Goddess of a Thousand Names who beckons us forward on our journey with nary a road map. Then this becomes our Vision quest!

With so many water sign planets floating around in the heavens, it is Important to remember that anything that we view through water gets distorted. Water rules the emotions which can be lovely depending on which emotions. When we add emotions to the mix things can easily feel out of proportion, unclear and overwhelming. On the bright side this preponderance of Piscean planets can cast a lovely lavender glow around everything allowing us to feel carried away on wings of euphoria. Have we reached Nirvana, ascension to some higher plane or have we forgotten the first deception is always self deception? All paths lead to Neptune the great dis-solver and a place that makes the ego and ego driven most uncomfortable and the more spiritual and mystical blissful.

Astrology turns on the light and suggests the energies that are at play and the intuitive astrologer looks at the chart and the transiting planets and feels how the energies are likely to manifest. By viewing the house placements of the different planets the astrologer, or you if you choose, can see where in your life these events are likely to occur. If you are feeling overwhelmed by the flood of new emotions or the disillusions or outright deceptions of the times, it is a great time to seek the detached clearer view of a good astrologer or psychic. Even if you are a psychic by profession the waves of mystery that are cloaking most things at this time make it a good idea to see another that you trust and trade readings. I emphasize this at this time because Neptune is the very kind of energy that helps the psychic, medium, animal communicator or healer do their work and it is the very energy clients are seeking.

Another thing that these Piscean planets can develop in you is your intuition which should really be kicking it up after all the Uranian transits of last year. That being said, at certain times It is always a good idea to employ a good professional psychic, medium or astrologer when you need clarity and that impartial view for major decisions. Likewise, it is also very important for each of us to learn to go on the first hit, that gut reaction on the day to day to be our own director from minute to minute.. This is not an either/or prescription but a both/and OK. Being true to your own inner voice is a great path to personal liberation and one well worth taking.

Neptune which is the ruling planet of Pisces really sensitizes us on many levels, some wonderful and others not so much. As I walk amongst my flowers or the animals that I work with I feel so much of how they feel now as this transit is being downloaded into my consciousness. I find that the words for the feelings are so much more available and many of you may be discovering that your own sensitivities are opening you up to deeper realms and understanding. Do not fear these gifts, they are not of the devil or some other crap that the no-fundies like to tell us but truly a more beautiful and connected way to commune with Spirit. More and more people are experiencing this as we all become more attuned to the 5th Dimension. The not so pleasant sensitivities are not so much fun as we simmer in this soup of chemicals, chem trails, GMO’s, mercury and Goddess only knows what else as all of us get more sensitized and slowly poisoned. Folks like me who simply cannot be around any of this stuff any more are the canaries in the coal mines, but none of you should be using traditional cleaning products and particularly air fresheners and the like.

Neptunian energy can also bring all kinds of pollutants and drugs into plain sight and the global reaction to them may well be coming home to roost in our air and water and food chain. Speaking of pollutants, the oil spills all over the world that remain under or unreported are legion. The issue of the purity of our water and who owns it will likely become a huge deal as we move further into the time of Neptune in Pisces.

It is very exciting to see the Idle No More Groups rising up all over the place. The Indigenous people know what’s at stake as we should as well. We need to follow their brave lead and not settle for allowing the Earth to be lost to the greedy and the heartless. Once again this country is willing to bleed for oil, yet another fluid in the picture.

All over the world people are rising up against oppression!

The entertainment industry is ruled by Neptune. The potential and actualized offerings of musicians and entertainers can often turn the tide of public opinion in important ways using art and culture to elevate our spirits, teach and heal. However because of the corporatization of the music Business the illusory baubles of fame become more obvious as one by one great artists fall by the wayside eaten alive by the very world that canonized them. The music is so sweet yet like a Siren the industry drags one after another onto the rocks of drugs, overwork, intense isolation and loneliness. Being a Star means that you shine brightly in the dark so does that mean that they are destined for that place should they even grasp that brass ring? On the other side of the quest, music can take us to the inner and outer realms of the sublime where we can touch souls and even can heal the world. Wouldn’t it be great if the musicians and other entertainers would start saying no to the machine en mass? Some already are like India Arie, Ani Di Franco and even the great Aretha Franklin. Indie music is growing like other alternative offerings.

I do not share the problems that come with these times to depress because I feel that on the other side of Neptune lies the solution which is the focus of the many to elevate our vibration and heal the planet. We can and must recognize our interconnectedness, that we are all one. When we hold that focus and it becomes magnified by the millions understanding that simple reality, we can and will bring about a different way of living and viewing life. We elevate and change the vision for ourselves and the paradigm shifts. In fact it is already changing. As you align with this energy you will feel the changes.

Back to Mercury Retrograde which began on Feb 23 and ends on March 17, having this backwards version in Pisces is likely to create more of the obvious challenges. The likelihood of extreme confusion, missed appointments and opportunities, miscommunication and misunderstandings could make even the most patient want to tear their hair out. I am grateful that by my birthday Mercury will be moving forward again as the planets that surround your chart on your birthday have a great influence on your year ahead. See my website for info on the Solar Return Chart; this is your chart for the year starting with your current birthday and it is most useful. As I have said many times before there are a multitude of wonderful uses of the retrograde time so don’t worry or whine. Make this your time to get the proverbial ducks in a row, clear away all that could inhibit your forward motion and wait to kick butt out in the world by March 17 or a little bit later when you really can make a difference.

Jupiter typically a beneficial energy can really bring some challenging situations to the fore because all month it will be making a square [hard aspect] to one or more of the Piscean planets. This could create some powerful winter storms and we have already seen that this past month. As the energies become much more turbulent towards Equinox we are more likely to see more Earth Changes, storms, quakes etc. Remember the axiom, “As above so below.” Some of our dynamic weather patterns are about Mama doing some planetary cleanup but when you hear about huge storms going in strange directions and a series of tornadoes with intensity and duration like never before look to H.A.A.R.P. I have talked about this in other posts so refer back or please look it up as you need to understand what and who is directing such things.

At this time the animals of the world are particularly vulnerable so however you can reach out to these precious ones please do it really makes a big difference and they so deserve to be treasured and understood they totally give of themselves for their people and that unconditional love is a rare and wondrous thing so please make the time.

Slow moving Saturn and Pluto will be in harmony with each other all month which will give us more of a solid base under our feet while the Neptunian planets tend to make us feel like the sands are shifting beneath us. In terms of economics, I think this energy will keep the economy more stable. Truth is, we are not likely to be told what is real with the economy anyway. In these days where illusion is king, trying to find any truth about politrix is like trying to find teeth in the mouth of a hen. So I guess what I can say about the economic picture is that we will appear to be stable. Kind of like Saturn, which stubbornly holds the rules and ethics of the game, has made a deal with Pluto the game changer to let it ride for the time being giving the whistle blowers a vacation. There is an outside possibility that this calm may result in more cooperation on solving problems that are not really about partisan issues, now that would be a good surprise.

March 11 features a New Moon in Pisces along with 6 other planets in this sign so maybe on the up side we could see innovations for the use, preservation and cleansing of our beloved waters. This could also be a supremely spiritual time for all and I do encourage you to seek spaces and people on this day and night who will create sacred space with you – be it meditation, music, time out in nature or all three. This is a time of deep solace which we will need before the excitement of spring comes barreling in demanding its due. The other side of so much water of course could mean flooding be it emotional and/or literal. Create your own Temple, carry Kleenex and seek the sand bags if necessary.

Could be a relatively mellow month until March 20, Spring Equinox, unless we have some kind of watery disaster with floods or oil spills. However I hope you are all rested by the time Equinox starts to wake the world up with its fiery passion. Granted we learned to take it easier and go with the flow during the first part of the month but with the Sun, Mars and Uranus all in fire sign Aries for the rest of the month the time of confrontation is NOW. As I sit here writing these very words I can hear the bombers flying low over Lake Santa Fe in Melrose which is on their way home to NAS Jax from man-euvers by the Ocala National Forest about 1/2 hr away. This generally means that the brass have plans that we do not know about so always a good idea to get those Peace Pipes cranked and keep your ears to the ground for news.

Whatever has been percolating through the winter be it political, personal or natural [sort of] could completely explode when transiting Mars hits Uranus on March 22, even sweet Venus is dressed for war in the sign of Aries. We may have a lot of upheaval in the Middle East. Asteroid Pallas/Athena has been in Aries for some time and hence we see the rise of the women from the unlikely streets of Delhi, to the first Gay Pride ever in Uganda, to the Global 1 Billion Rising movement last month that had women rising up in dance and song in over 250 countries. In ancient myth, Spring Equinox celebrates the Return of the Mother. She has been underground during the harshness of Winter and now She is released to bring all the good things to the Earth that has suffered during her yearly sojourn in the Underworld. Any issues that are afoot to discriminate against women will not stand a chance in this climate and a huge demonstration by and for women could very well explode on the world stage. The most oppressed sisters on the planet are showing the way and I would encourage those of us who can to support their actions and let some of their fire sizzle in your own psyche to stand up when and where you feel the heel of oppression bearing down on your neck! Yes there I go, already feeling the Uranian fire singeing my fingers as I type.

By the time we reach the Full Moon on March 27, the Moon will be in conciliatory Libra which desires fairness, peace and beauty while Venus which rules Libra is in martial Aries. All that drama as the Sun, Uranus, Mars and Goddess Asteroids Ceres and Pallas – Athena are also in the Martian sign. The Aries energy opposes the Libra Full Moon so this can be a very intense time of choices. With all of this very inflammatory energy manifesting at this time which tends to inflate everything, I would do all that you can to promote peace and make the choice to stay in Love instead of Fear. You have the choice to be that shining example as you use the transforming fire in your belly to stand for what is right and release the war that lives inside of you.

Interestingly more wars have been started under the sign of the “Peacemaker” Libra’s energies because of that desire to make things equal and fair. The fire may be lit around the Equinox but I would say that the issues that are being dealt with are more apt to become fully recognized with the Full Moon. I know that it may sound really passe’ but Make Love Not War, really go retro, as a matter of fact this would be a great day for a Love In talk about retro because we really do have the choice of how to use this energy and how each of us chooses to spend this time does matter. If we create and co create a planet that is vibrationally inhospitable to War, war will cease!

Before the Full Moon peaks Jupiter and Chiron, the planet of the wounded healer, will be exactly square giving us that wider view, access to really seeing and understanding the BIG PICTURE. With Saturn trining Chiron we will be gifted with ancient deep wisdom which is just what we need. The Ancestors are talking clear and drawing us near. Ideally this will offer some wisdom and vision to the inferno brewing so that we may use the action oriented Arian fire in a truly progressive way that turns us from being bored sheeple to being loving and inspired spiritual warriors, all in it together to save the planet. Talkin bout a Revolution…

In addition to all these aspects we see the Finger of God/Goddess, the Yod, with Jupiter as the focal planet working its energy through the sextile of Saturn and Pluto reminding us again to handle this extreme energy wisely to create change that will last and that will not merely be a band aid cure. This is an extremely transformative time calling for right action, using both sides of the brain. We can use our growing intuition to see what needs to be done while asking our intellect to secure the means and momentum to do it and our journey unfolds.

March 29 will be a great day for love of all kinds as the Sun is flanked on either side by Venus and Uranus all in Aries of course. If your love life needs a little heat this could be your day whether you are in a couple or looking to be in one even just for the night. Sensual energies will be most magnetic and electric. If you meet a new lover on this day you could have the time of your life, but if other aspects in your chart do not suggest longevity it could just be a very good time. If you are single and that appeals let yourself totally enjoy. Uh oh just noticed a potential wet blanket here as Saturn will be waltzing with the Moon in Scorpio which usually doesn’t bring in the zest and free flow of energies but perhaps will only temper the bacchanal. These energies will be around for a few days so immerse yourselves in sensual delights, creativity and magic.

Glad that we could leave this month on such a high note. As they say, In Like a Lamb Out Like a Lion. I wouldn’t call March a roller coaster but a smooth ride it is not. If you tune in and use the time well though, you could have just the right balance to handle the twists and turns effectively with grace and courage. I am hoping that we do not see too many natural disasters and if we do please be sure to reach out where and when needed. Water and Fire, so much of both all in one month. Choose to live authentically and with an open heart; with that in place this will be a most memorable month for all. Love Peace and Justice Blessings Flash Silvermoon

Empaths and Paradise

Just a quick reminder that we’re crossing some bizarre energy ripples right now, which have the power to distort in strange and sometimes scary ways. Whether you call it Mercury Retrograde in dreamy, illusion-inducing Pisces, Archontic influence of off-world beings instigating and surfing negative emotions, or simply empathing some of the intense disaster posturing of our world right now, many people are experiencing flare-ups. Emotions, spiritual issues, identity crises, physical pain that outreaches the actual diagnosis, thoughts that won’t stop recycling: yep. I’m feeling it, and I know so many others are as well, because I’m hearing from you in sessions!

Take a breath.

And another breath.

Release the long exhale.

Now breathe again.

This, too, shall pass. There seems to be some sort of collective die-off happening right now, a global healing crisis in which the human immune system has suddenly realized, “Holy, freakin’ conspiracy FACT, we have been invaded. Our world’s been hijacked by psychopaths, and things seem very dire, indeed.” The good news is: that human immune system has finally started kicking in. I’m saddened that it took the possibility of drone killing American citizens on American soil in order for more than a handful of Americans to care about mass murder, but at least something has triggered an awakening. I’m sorry that it took the possibility of our entire global food supply being completely contaminated, patented and destroyed for people to wake up to the dangers of GMO’s and Codex Alimentarius, and I’m sorry that it took fire coming out of individuals’ faucets in order for people to recognize that fracking is an obscene violence on Mother Earth. But at least more people are now screaming, “No! Not on my watch. Not while I live on this planet. I did not incarnate for this sick version of some psychopath’s master-slave dystopia.”

When an immune system (even a collective one) suddenly realizes that it has been invaded and needs to take action, the initial response can hurt. For those of us empaths, that collective shock and hurt often registers hyper-locally — in our own body, mind, emotions and spirit. I know many, many of my blog readers and clients are empaths. If you’ve ever “felt” someone else’s emotions or physical pain, you at the very least have empathic tendencies. Most people do, to varying degrees. Empathy is actually a normal part of the human condition, since we’re all interconnected by an invisible Web of Life. In fact, a complete lack of empathy is one of the definitions of a psychopath, so empathy is not something to avoid or reject. It is something incredibly human and beautiful. We just need to maintain our own balance in the midst of the intense, rapid and sometimes panicked awakenings around us.

Maintaining balance in the midst of others’ chaos presents challenges, but here’s some more good news to make it worth our while:

1) Empathy resonates with the principles “As Above, So Below,” and “As Within, So Without.” If we find ourselves so overwhelmed by external conditions that our body, mind, emotions and spirit actually begin to suffer and imitate the large outer on the small inner scale, then guess what? We can reverse that trend, too. We can treat ourselves in tangible small ways with the intention of our inner healing radiating outwards to effect change on the macro level.

2) We can remind ourselves first and foremost that any and all symptoms have some connection to outer events. Just asking the question, “Is this mine?” helps us to release the energy of fear that often keeps symptoms around much longer than a quick pass-through.

3) We can also use this period of potent energetic interconnections as a way to expand how we view our world and our place in it. Sometimes feeling like one isolated individual in a sea of chaos feels overwhelming, but if we remember our connection to everyone else and recall that the vast majority of humanity wants peace, prosperity, a healthy planet, good health, loving neighbors, and the chance to shine, then we help to bolster that energy. We strengthen ourselves when we remember how interwoven our lives really are.

Empathing others’ symptoms can feel scary and frustrating. Believe me, I know! Even knowing this I realize that I can do a much better job clearing my own energy after sessions or after dealing with sick or frightened people I encounter socially. But the flip side of empathing others’ conditions is a keen awareness of just how much influence we each have over our environment. It’s not just negativity that leaks through; positivity does, too. Inspiration is contagious. So is enthusiasm. So are ideas. Victor Hugo said, “There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come.”

The time has come for many powerful ideas: liberty; sovereignty over body, mind, emotions, spirit, food and medicine; recognition of our planet as a living, breathing being; understanding ourselves as “uniquely you, divinely one”; recognizing Natural Law; a return to balance of all things; knowing that we have the power to imagine, demand and implement an entire reality that honors and respects ourselves and Nature. If symptoms can bleed through, so can solutions. This might feel like a time to hunker down in the faery bunker, but now is also the time to let ourselves shine so brightly that the rest of the decayed and crumbling, ugly, old paradigm fades out of existence, ushering in the new. I pray we use our powers of empathy to build bridges into Paradise, then cross those bridges until they become such well-worn paths that anyone who chooses can easily find the way.

Jon Rappoport ~ US Farmers Flood Fields with Dangerous Poison to Fight Monsanto Superweeds

Yet another reason to go organic, grow your own food, know your farmers, aim for local food sovereignty laws to ban GMO crops, and to visualize and engage a world beyond Monsanto. Way beyond. While we still can. Thanks, Gillian!

Jon Rappoport ~ US Farmers Flood Fields with Dangerous Poison to Fight Monsanto Superweeds

You’re a farmer. Season after season, you watch your fields being taken over by Monsanto superweeds, which are resistant to the herbicide Roundup.

What are you going to do? You’re locked in. You’re buying your GMO seeds from Monsanto, and the food crops that grow from those seeds are supposed to be resistant to Monsanto’s Roundup, so that’s what you spray on your crops.

But the weeds aren’t resistant. They spread and they grow taller. They’re taking over.

So you, along with many, many other US farmers, go to a strategy called “burndown,” which is just as bad as it sounds. You use something a lot stronger than Roundup to kill those weeds: Paraquat, for example, which has been banned in 32 countries.

You drench your fields with it in the fall. You kill anything growing. And you drench the fields again in the spring, before you plant. Then, just as you’re going to plant, you hit the fields a third time with the poison.

This is in addition to all the sprayings with Roundup, which is toxic, too.

Then you harvest the crops and you sell them. And consumers eat the food along with all the poison.

Tom Philpot, writing in Mother Jones (Feb.6), reports the alarming stats on the superweed takeover of US farmland. As of 2012, almost 50% of US farms had superweeds. In 2011, it was 34%. In Georgia, it’s now 92%.

The total acreage of US farmland with resistant superweeds jumped by 51% in 2012. In 2011, it was a 25% increase. That upward- percentage escalation is called a nightmare.

Well, so farmers are poisoning the hell out of their food and their fields. But with Monsanto’s super-duper GMO technology, the crop yields are still much bigger than they would be without the GMO seeds, right?

The Institute for Responsible Technology cites and quotes three reports on that score.

An International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science, and Technology for Development study, signed on to by 58 governments and 400 scientists, states that GMO crop production is “highly variable,” and in some cases it has “declined.”

The Union of Concerned Scientists’ 2009 report, “Failure to Yield,” emphatically stated: “Commercial GE [genetically engineered] crops have made no inroads so far into raising the intrinsic or potential yields of any crop.”

A US Dept. of Agriculture report: “GE crops available for commercial use do not increase the yield potential. In fact, yield may even decrease…”

Let’s summarize. Using Monsanto GMO technology to grow food crops results in massive poisoning of the farm land and the food. And increased crops yields are a fiction.

Nothing to see here, move along. Don’t worry, be happy. Stand back, technology at work. Progress is our most important product. Better living through chemistry. Ignorance is strength.

What would a president and his administration do to make sure the truth is overrun and squashed?

In addition to silencing the media, they would appoint a host of GMO insiders to key government posts, and they would bring to market as many new GMO crops as possible, to construct a fait accompli.

So let’s go to the scorecard and review the actions of Obama in his first term.

The new president filled key posts with Monsanto people, in federal agencies that wield tremendous force in food issues, the USDA and the FDA:

At the USDA, as the director of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture, Roger Beachy, former director of the Monsanto Danforth Center.

As deputy commissioner of the FDA, the new food-safety-issues czar, the infamous Michael Taylor, former vice-president for public policy for Monsanto. Taylor had been instrumental in getting approval for Monsanto’s genetically engineered bovine growth hormone.

As commissioner of the USDA, Iowa governor, Tom Vilsack. Vilsack had set up a national group, the Governors’ Biotechnology Partnership, and had been given a Governor of the Year Award by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, whose members include Monsanto.

As the new Agriculture Trade Representative, who would push GMOs for export, Islam Siddiqui, a former Monsanto lobbyist.

As the new counsel for the USDA, Ramona Romero, who had been corporate counsel for another biotech giant, DuPont.

As the new head of the USAID, Rajiv Shah, who had preciously worked in key positions for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a major funder of GMO agriculture research.

We should also remember that Obama’s secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, once worked for the Rose law firm. That firm was counsel to Monsanto.

Obama nominated Elena Kagan to the US Supreme Court. Kagan, as federal solicitor general, had previously argued for Monsanto in the Monsanto v. Geertson seed case before the Supreme Court.

The deck was stacked. Obama hadn’t simply made honest mistakes. Obama hadn’t just failed to exercise proper oversight in selecting appointees. He wasn’t just experiencing a failure of short-term memory. He was staking out territory on behalf of Monsanto and other GMO corporate giants.

And now let us look at what key Obama appointees have wrought for their true bosses. Let’s detail the extraordinary parade of GMO crops that have skated through the open door of the Obama presidency.

Monsanto GMO alfalfa.

Monsanto GMO sugar beets.

Monsanto GMO Bt soybean.

Coming soon: Monsanto’s GMO sweet corn.

Syngenta GMO corn for ethanol.

Syngenta GMO stacked corn.

Pioneer GMO soybean.

Syngenta GMO Bt cotton.

Bayer GMO cotton.

ATryn, an anti-clotting agent from the milk of transgenic goats.

A GMO papaya strain.

And perhaps, soon, genetically engineered salmon and apples.

That’s how you control and squash the truth.

Mercury Retrograde 2013

Mercury Retrograde, Full Moon in Virgo … as Doreen Virtue notes:

“INTENSITY is the theme for this week, including intense feelings. The cards [in her weekly oracle card reading] show you making huge changes because of your intense feelings which are pushing you to leave unhealthy situations or behaviors. You start on a positive new path this week, as it is the right time to do so.”

For more on the first Mercury Retrograde of 2013, you might also appreciate my friend, Master Astrologer Electra Jung‘s take on this Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. Intense, intense, intense! Stay grounded, folks!

For some Merc Rx tips from previous times, you might like to read this article as a refresher.

Lynn A. Robinson: “Divine Intuition”

The following exercise comes from Lynn A. Robinson’s lovely book, “Divine Intuition,” which I often recommend to clients and friends who would like to become more in touch with their own intuition. A wonderful “coffee table book” due to its amazing collection of quotes, “Divine Intuition” also includes practical steps to awakening your own awareness of Divine nudges and harmonizing those insights with prior religious training or expectations. Lynn’s inspiring stories from her own life and experience as an intuitive and counselor provide glimmers of confidence and encouragement. Highly, highly recommended!

… And thanks to David, who telepathically picked up on the fact that I awoke this morning wondering where the heck this book was after our move! I went to the office only to find that he had left it sitting right next to my desk. 🙂

Sixty Seconds to Peace, by Lynn A. Robinson, “Divine Intuition,” p. 19

“Here’s a very simple exercise to get you started. I call this my ‘One-Minute God exercise.’ So many of us claim to not have the time it takes to sit down to pray or meditate. With this exercise you don’t really have an excuse! You’ll find it quite effective.

“Close your eyes, take a deep breath in, and say the word ‘relax’ as you slowly let your breath out. Do this several times until you feel yourself becoming calm and centered. Now, simply call on the presence of God. There is no ‘right way’ to do this. However you experience it is fine. Quiet your thoughts, let go of any anxious feelings, draw to yourself a sense of calm and peace. Take in this stillness with your in-breath. Let go of any concerns with your out-breath.

“Say to yourself, ‘I am filled and surrounded by the presence and spirit of God. I am at peace.’ Visualize the love and light of God enfolding you. Imagine that you are simply sitting in this energy and resting.

“This simple exercise done even a few times a day produces amazing recuperative results. It helps you change your perspective, clear away stress, and gain more energy. I’ve found that when I calm myself in this way intuitive insights will often pop into my mind. I seem to keep them away when I’m feeling stressed and driven.”

Pharmacy or Farmacy

In a world where corporations want to add (the chemical weapon) Aspartame to milk (without labeling it!); in a world of GMO’s with hidden viruses and possible ET genes; in a world of Frankenfish with deformed spines; a world of pink slime, virus-injected meat, human-cow hybrids’ milk, turd burgers, and a psychiatric diagnosis for every known human emotion, um, yeah, sign me up for the local, organic, sustainable, real food Farmacy.

Michele Geyer: Hope or Trust

Wise words from my friend, Chele:

Hope or Trust by Michele Geyer

Hope is a four-letter word.

The dictionary defines hope as “desire accompanied with expectation for fulfillment.” My definition is similar, yet much less accommodating and certainly not so nice! Here it is:

H stands for helplessness. O stands for oppressed. P stands for passive. E stands for expectation.

I stay away from that word, recently replacing it with “trust.” Trust carries a higher vibration, and “hope” is often just a mere step above victim, breeding powerlessness like a rabbit.

That’s part of a 2010 repost from my blog series on self-mastery and the levels of consciousness. SInce that time, so much more has been uncovered about languaging, visualization, brain waves, subconscious states and responses as they relate to our human potential to create and manifest.

Consider our constant state of transitional and evolutionary experiences: many of us are in a sort of post-pinnacle-limbo-state-of-being and even a bit of hopelessness right now. What we thought we knew last year, in fact the shift that so many looked upon hopefully, has not actualized in our 3D world. It’s just not manifest, here, now, in the way so many believed it would or could be.

Even so, and even more importantly now, it is our “job” to sustain the vision of peace, ascension, sanctuary, evolution, the betterment of mankind and our relationship to the planet…however we might “see it” as individuals.

Instead of hoping it will be, trust that it already exists.

The Western Mystery traditions use visioning practices to explore the inner realms, to invoke the divine and create sanctuary, often to evoke positive outcomes for the greater good. Essentially they use magic to hold ceremonial space, a picture of the inner temple and other realms.

There is no hoping involved. It’s an exercise of certainty and trust in both individuals and the group to make real what exists on the astral planes.

Gregg Braden’s 2004 audio series on the “Lost Mode of Prayer,” speaks to an ancient praying ritual based in our capacity to “act as if” something is currently happening–rather than positioning it in our minds as something nearly unachievable or something we have to strive or reach for. By acknowledging and trusting, we breakthrough the illusions of our 3D world and into limitlessness.

Even neuro-science knows the difference between hope and trust. Here’s a related excerpt from a coaching blog. Read more at Validate Your Life:

“…words have a huge impact on the neurology of which cells get triggered and how intensely and frequently certain brain cells get activated, the culmination of that could be a habit, or thought, and/or emotion.

The problem is that people think “I hope” and “I trust” are equal; linguistically they may be fairly synonymous, but neuroscientifically “trust” and “hope” are massively different. . When we use trust, we develop a pattern of achieving what we “trust will happen” because it’s a more selective usage. You can throw “I hope” in front of anything, so by using “I hope” you set yourself up for disappointment, it’s in the linguistic technology of the defunctory word! But “I trust”, implies you’ve done something to strengthen and almost make certain the occurrence of said interest and your cerebral neurons know this!”

Although the dictionary definition of hope can be construed to appear positive, most people avoid the key step of actualizing what they “hope” for, and instead pray from a place of lack.

Wishing for things, believing in things, talking about things, these are not only ways we imprison our creative potential in the mental realms, they are also ways we apathetically live our lives in “hope.”

Passive, un-actualized hope is based on thinking from the abyss of our spiritual memory loss. Like a lost love, hope is grief for some desired outcome that was never acquired. It’s a state of no responsibility, self-suppressed qualities, and yearning. In this place of passive desire, we are emotionally numb, dissatisfied and envious for what we lack.

Most of us are fully capable of envisioning drama or negative outcomes, all the while praying for something different and wondering why it does not manifest. Why not change the picture you hold in your mind, beginning to envision the change you want to see in your life or the world.

At some point on the road of self-realization we begin to recognize who we are. We look into that still pool of water every day, entraining ourselves with knowingness.

One day we actualize what we believe or know. Rather than waiting for someone to wave the magic wand of fantastical change, rather than listening to a repetitive, mental mantra of passive “hope,” instead we get off the bench, begin to set intentions, take a little action, and trust we have the power within us to create everything.

Remember: sustain the vision.

Action Alert: Another Health Freedom Power Grab

Thanks for the heads up, Anthony! We’ve got a major attack happening right now on Indiana Health Freedom. If any readers live in Indiana, please do take the time to call your legislators (details below).

I thought I left this problem behind when I left Wisconsin, as the Dietetics Lobby there was continually trying to monopolize and criminalize anyone besides Dietitians even mentioning nutrition, food and food-related lifestyle issues. Even Nutritionists, who have more extensive training than RD’s, would not be allowed to practice Nutrition until they received training and certification for the lesser degree of Dietitian. Alas, it’s a national problem, and Indiana is the latest power grab state. Please take a moment on February 20 or 21st to call your legislators, or to make any Indiana residents you know aware of the imminent threat to their health freedom. This legislation is potentially far-reaching, as once passed in one state, they will then have precedent and model for other states. Please spread the word far and wide. Reiki and prayers appreciated, too!

Dear NPA Midwest Members and Residents of Indiana,

We received this very urgent email from the CBNS earlier this morning. It is imperative that we unite and move immediately to kill this bill and protect your right to do business. Please read the information below:

Dear Supporters of Nutrition Freedom,

We are emailing to ask you to activate your networks of Indiana practitioners, retailers, supplement companies, family, friends, students clients, etc. to make calls to their Representatives in the Indiana House today 2/20 and tomorrow 2/21. HB 1272 is a law pushed heavily by the Dietetics lobby in it’s ongoing effort to monopolize the nutrition field. This law began as a law that would criminalize all nutrition advice that didn’t come from RD’s. And, in the worst bill we’ve ever seen, the RD’s expanded their scope of practice to include things like meal preparation or any intervention designed to improve someone’s nutrition-related behavior, or reduce health risks.

We pushed back heavily on that, and an amendment to take out criminalization for non-RD’s was added and passed. However, dietitians are still fighting to control the market for nutrition care that is covered by insurance, which everyone expects to expand. They want laws that by licensing them alone, in effect will preclude more qualified Nutritionists from having their services eligible for insurance coverage for services that are covered now, and ones that will be covered in the future. That ultimately will create economic harm to consumers if they have to give up insurance reimbursement in order to see the practitioner of their choosing.

It is one more way the Dietetics Associations are trying to dampen competition by funneling consumers to RD’s through economic pressure. There is no justifiable reason for members of only one private trade group to be licensed or certified, any more than there is justification for criminalizing nutrition advice in a country that so desperately needs more of it.

We are urging you to join us in killing this bill which is being heard in the IN House this Thursday morning before 10:30 a.m. Because of the very short time frame we are asking you to make phone calls to your representative (for both home and work districts if different) today 2/20 and tomorrow 2/21. The vote on this will be either Friday 2/22 or Monday 2/25.

Please GO HERE http://test.cna.gotpantheon.com to find HB1272 information, Legislator phone numbers, Talking Points, and a link to find your legislator if you don’t know who that is.

Lightworkers and Abundance

Health, wealth, love — on the personal level, for humanity, for our planet: certain themes have recurred throughout the past eleven-and-a-half years of sessions.

When we hear the term “Abundance” we often think of “money,” but the desire for Abundance really covers much more than dollars or euros. We live in such an interconnected world with so many macro- issues that we can easily become overwhelmed or discouraged, even though shifting our own internal and micro- reality offers the biggest chance of positively affecting the whole.

Whenever we allow ourselves to receive improved health, greater prosperity, and experience more love, we enact a sort of sympathetic magic. Our body, mind, spirit and soul become a mini-world, and each instance of greater Abundance enlivens the collective consciousness. We may not as individuals feel powerful enough to return our government to its core principles, change our sickcare system to one that promotes wellness, or shift our society to one that values love, integrity and cooperation; however, when we reclaim sovereignty over our bodies and our reality creation, and when we practice love, soul integration and community involvement, we become the vehicles for those energies to expand in our world.

Today I just wanted to remind everyone that by refocusing, remembering and reigniting our attention and intentions, we can truly change not just ourselves, but also our entire world. We can do so with Love, and forgiving ourselves for what we have not yet done often allows just the internal shift we need in order to get started where we are.

As Gurumukh says, “You must start wherever you are, because if you don’t start somewhere, you’ll be nowhere.”

In an article called, “When the Fight for the Environment Feels Hopeless,” Jared Michaels reminds us: “If we engage with life knowing that we are the dynamic, ever-changing universe itself, we will find tremendous agency.”

In the Unity book, “Both Riches and Honor,” Annie Rix Militz shares this wonderful observation, which can apply to worldly riches but also to all the showers of “unfair” blessings that good, caring people often struggle to welcome into their lives:

“Worldly riches have been feared, despised, condemned, and even hated by spiritual aspirants, because of ignorance of how to be in them and yet not of them, how to possess them and not be possessed by them. Doubtless this attitude of repudiating and ignoring wealth is less deceiving than the other error; greed and the worship of money and the fear of losing riches. But the really wise avoid both attitudes through knowing worldly wealth to be but a reflection of the real, spiritual riches that must be sought first, last and always. Having found the riches of heaven, you cannot escape the riches of earth unless you purposely repudiate them.”

Having found the riches of heaven, you cannot escape the riches of earth unless you purposely repudiate them. For some reason that line just jumped off the page at me. We live in a world in which so many Lightworkers, healers, and generally kind and loving folks are so concerned about becoming possessed by our positive manifestations that we reject them before they arrive. Each of us does this to varying degrees in different areas of life, depending on our own individual programming, issues, experiences or past life bleed-through. If we can each — today — budge our needle of acceptance just a little to the right, the outpouring of Grace on our planet would be incredible! And after today comes another today, and another after that.
