Hurry Up and Wait

“Hurry up and wait” describes so much of the energy these days, especially for people conscious enough to notice energetic waves. Solar flares, whistleblowers, 2012 prophecies, Disclosure, and economic “emergencies”: take your pick. We feel the urgency, the “imminent” changes, and yet life rolls on with very little altered day-to-day. Are we in a full-on economic emergency? Or is the New Economy simply emerging? Think “both/and” rather than either/or, and then prepare to hurry up and wait again.

This cycle of intense hope, radical change, and Spidey-sense tingling anticipation feels almost too much to bear — kind of like later seasons of “LOST.” We see the signs (or are they signs?); we feel like somewhere something must make sense (or did we imagine those connections? Is Ben Linus manipulating us?); we wonder which wolves will turn into sheep, and which sheep will bare their bloody canines, all the while trying to remind ourselves that in a truly enlightened world, we need not fear.

With all this suspense, we run the risk of missing out on the ever-present Now. In an age where time may completely collapse inside itself, might we not want to savor these last linear delays? They say a watched pot never boils, but this one will. It absolutely will boil. And soon. The energy has grown far too intense to simmer down. But do we want to spend all our time and energy watching an inevitably boiling pot? How might we better use this time to align ourselves with those bubbling opportunities? I’ve got a few ideas:

1) Allow yourself to feel the relief. As often as you can muster it, invite the feeling of relief into your experience. If you catch yourself saying, “Be rational. That’s only wishful thinking. I’ve got bills to pay and lack is ever present in my life,” cancel that thought! This kind of thinking turns your burner back on low. How do you expect to boil water over a diminished flame? Indulging in feelings of relief beckons relieving circumstances to you. Imagine the ease of total debt relief and the freedom to pursue your passion instead of just a paycheck. If your pot hasn’t started boiling yet, you can still taste the contents without burning your tongue. Observe the flavor of your creation and tweak the seasonings while you can.

2) Follow the Golden Rule. “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Practice random acts of kindness. Pick up litter. Share your bumper crop. Hug a tree. Smile: it’s contagious! Yes, CDC, that’s my kind of an epidemic. πŸ˜‰

3) Speak the Truth in Love. We live in a brainwashed society whose sleeping members have begun to stir. Very soon, we will have millions of shocked Rip Van Winkles feeling emotions and awareness that BigPharma, tell-LIE-vision, and GMO foods used to dumb down. Tempting as an “I told you so” may be, we can finally look forward to some real conversations. You might want to spend some time releasing old resentments about people not believing you. When the TV programming changes, these same people will want to discuss their rapidly changing world view. As someone who has already gone through some of your own awakening process, you know this territory. You can guide gently and with love down paths you’ve already walked. Do you need to rub it in that you got here first, or can you celebrate your ability to help others enjoy their journey?

4) Follow the Usui Reiki Principles. Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is an ancient healing method rediscovered in the 19th century by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki means “Universal Life Force Energy” or “Divinely directed healing energy.” It flows through everyone and everything, balancing and healing as it goes. Reiki pracitioners and Reiki Master Teachers know special techniques and hand positions, but as Earth’s frequency rises, Reiki will become more accessible to everyone.

Before Usui started giving Reiki attunements, he had his students follow him around a clinic and observe his energy. He also required them to recite the following principles in order to re-align themselves with the Universal Life Force Energy. Whether or not you know Reiki, you can embrace these principles for a more harmonious life right now. The following version is based on various translations and much study of Reiki and Dr. Usui’s Original Reiki Ideals:

The secret method for inviting happiness
The miracle medicine for all diseases
Just for today, do not be angry.
Just for today, do not worry.
Express your gratitude.
Devote yourself to your life’s work,
And be kind to every being.

5) Practice Makes Perfect (or at least Much Better). The more we practice harmonious living, the more our subconscious mind makes it so. The good things in life manifest much easier as we allow ourselves to align with relief, the Golden Rule, Truth, Love and the natural flow of healing energy. I encourage all of us to practice these things, “just for today.” We can get angry, worried, frustrated and all those other things tomorrow:

“To-morrow, and to-morrow, and to-morrow,
Creeps in this petty pace from day to day,
To the last syllable of recorded time;
And all our yesterdays have lighted fools
The way to dusty death. Out, out, brief candle!
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player,
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.”

Sure, we can choose to be Macbeth’s, but in a world of all possibilities why would we ever choose that?

So, yes, “hurry up and wait” seems like the order of the day. But while we’re waiting, why not savor the stew, smell the roses, paint a picture, write a masterpiece, make a snack, make a new friend, or make sweet love? Why not live out loud? We don’t need to wait on the world in order to do that. If I’m alive enough to type, and you’re alive enough to read, then we’re both alive enough to enjoy ourselves. I’m telling you, that pot’s inevitably gonna boil.

So what Now?

You can check out their resource-dense website by clicking here. I’m so pleased they’ve decided to do this. Back in December, I actually spoke with a friend of Foster’s, who asked me please not to keep the free version of “Thrive: What on Earth Will it Take” on this site. I explained how I had thought they meant for the message to spread as rapidly as possible. The friend, in turn, explained that they had originally needed to recover the cost of making the film. They thanked me for sharing the video and directing people to their site. I’m so pleased they’ve met their costs and will share this video directly on their website. You can still order the DVD for group showings, but this free access will help share information in a rapidly shifting world.

Many of those people who’ve always scoffed at you for your wild ideas will soon find themselves craving such information and explanations. Thrive offers one way to share some of the darker details of our failing society, along with a huge message of hope for a free and beautiful future.

History Is Being Made

In addition to being a nerdy English Major, I’ve got a real fascination with history. πŸ˜‰ In college, I voluntarily took graduate level history courses, just for fun. French Revolution, the Habsburg Dynasty, the Victorian Empire, Art History courses, the history of Christianity and the rise of Vatican power … you name it, I gathered it. As interesting as historical revolutions are, though, we’re actually in one now. I like to call it a LOVEolution, but whatever you call it, something’s happening. The near complete polarization of politics, intentions and visions simply cannot hold. Something will pop, snap, integrate and/or catapult because so much energy has gathered at the same time so many sleepers have begun to awaken. I’ve never believed that 2012 would be the end of the world, but it may well be the end of the world as we know it.

I feel this is such an important interview to share: 3-28-12 David Wilcock Interview of Drake, β€œan Insider specifically asked by the Pentagon β€˜good guys’ to come forward.” As Vietnam Vet Drake says, “Please do your own research” and practice inner discernment. No need to understand or decide upon everything at one go: sometimes listening to technical details just helps us to realize that knowledge is power. And hope.

David Wilcock and his interviewee have done a good job explaining complexities about the Declaration of Independence, a Nation State, Sovereignty, protecting the Constitution, and US military backing for real freedom, rather than gangster/bankster war agendas. It’s a good place to start, especially if you’ve felt nervous about things like NDAA, corporate personhood, and other draconian laws. Whether you have an opinion on these things or not, I encourage you to listen to this interview with curiosity, which loosens rigidity and eases freedom.

As I keep mentioning, we’ve got tremendous opportunities right now. Informing ourselves of options helps us to gain further clarity on what we’d love to see in our world. I don’t claim to know behind the scenes info myself. I just read energy, and energy continues to shift in both positive and negative directions. Instead of cancelling each other out, though, these energies seem like powerful, distinct choices, and I, for one, keep visualizing and vibing with freedom, love, joy, relief, and peace. I decided to post this information now because this military guy provides so many technical, rational, historical and legal details that he offers a nice sense of grounding for all the “pie in the sky” people intending a beautiful rebirth of Earth. Letting Go of Should’s

Today is one of those days. Perhaps you’re feeling it, too. Maybe, as usual, I’m feeling it a bit ahead of the clients and students I’ll be helping through this phase when it hits more of the Lightworker crowd. In any case, I’m feeling it — that “Really?! You have got to be kidding me that this is even still an issue” feeling — sometimes inside of me and sometimes reflected back in naive, yet predictable ebbs and flows into duality by people who “should” really know better.

Ah, the should’s! What good do they ever do anyone? The angry should’s easily get shushed into more focused positive action, but the sad, shaking my head should’s? For some reason, those feel more difficult to release. And so I ask myself again, “What good is a should?” To my surprise, my very own inner Dr. Seuss responds:

A should would be good,
But it can’t so it shan’t.
Would, yes we would,
That our should’s
Could be good,
But they slog in the muck
And they feel oh so yuck.
Just leave them alone,
Go out on your own.
Who cares if that swan is a duck?

Much better! I think those should’s just pooped out with the butterflies, and butterflies are free.

Rebounding: Why It Sometimes Works

We’ve got a rebounder in our basement, and it’s getting used. Big time. I’ve had rebounders off and on in my life, and I’ve always found them kind of a drag. I like how they move my lymph, but all those exercises kind of bored me after a (very short) while. For years, rebounding fell into that “I know it’s good for me, but gosh I hate it” category. Lately, though, I’ve started dancing on our rebounder, and not just dancing, but dancing to sacred chants and meditating on our “rebounding World.” I bounce for 25-30 minutes everyday now, having so much fun I need to stop myself after half an hour in order to get going on other tasks.

This healthy habit began as a remedy for empathing my dad’s lymphoma symptoms but it has had so many benefits I don’t even know where to begin. For one, I love dancing, but we have hardwood floors, which get kind of, well, hard after awhile, especially with a sometimes sore sacrum. Enter the zero impact of the rebounder. My back self-adjusts as I bounce and dance, and I’ve managed to cut my chiropractic treatments in half since I started daily rebound sessions. My lymph no longer pools, and I’m not having anymore weird cross-over from my dad’s lymphatic issues. I started making homemade kefir and chaga tea to ease the immune symptoms I’d experience whenever his flared up, and so far so good there, too. All those fabulous enzymes, minerals and probiotics have taken my normally healthy body up so many notches that I’m not even in vibrational range to empath my dad’s health issues anymore. I like to think that my healthy habits somehow traverse back to him, but I have no way of knowing that for sure. I just know that rebounding, kefir and chaga tea make me feel fab.

Groovin’ to MC Yogi has given me a chance to ponder “rebounding” as a concept and how it applies to our world right now. As within, so without. Microcosm and macrocosm. I bounce around, increasing bone density, moving lymph and restructuring my spine as old structures fall away and new ones reconfigure. We’ve had at least 450 high level bank resignations since the beginning of 2012, many high level media, government and banker arrests, as well as over 200 clergy arrested for long past crimes. We’ve supposedly got insiders preparing a new financial system that benefits everyone on Earth, not just a select few. And by “everyone on Earth,” I include Earth herself in there. Permaculture and cleaning up the planet rank high on global tasks in the New Earth. Having escaped near total tyranny in a bad relationship with a psychopathic society, one could say, we are all rebounding. We’re moving to something new, even as remnants of the old continue to fall away.

On an individual level, people often turn their noses up at “rebound relationships,” as though rebounds can never quite match up to a “real” relationship after a subjectively “sufficient” amount of time has passed. True, without a dramatic inner inventory and vibrational shift, most people fail to escape the patterns that led them out of their previous relationship; however, some people do manage to rebound well. By keeping the vibe high, focusing more on qualities they do want than on the traumas they’re leaving behind, these folks manage to launch themselves into something far beyond what came before. Their rebound becomes more of a quantum leap.

As a society, we have the possibility of making a quantum leap right now. Old structures will continue to fall away, but we need not feel bereft or directionless. We can shake it off and use that motion to attract something way healthier and way more fun. We can dance. We can sing. We can rebound, dance and sing all at the same time. Try it! You’ll never dance, chant or rebound the same again, and the higher my energy gets, the more easily I can imagine a brand New Earth. It doesn’t take that much.

As you can see, our basement dance floor is no great shakes on its own. But add some MC Yogi to the mix:

As you bounce and restructure your own body, your own energy reaches out across the world. “Be the change that you wanna see … in the world, just like Ghandi.” In 2003, Sally Kempton conducted my very first magazine interview, for Yoga Journal. She profiled my brain injury recovery (under my maiden name, Derbenwick) in an article called “Bouncing Back.” When I dance on my rebounder, I sometimes think of that article and smile. How I’ve bounced! (And I’m writing that here at 777 words — “777: You are definitely on the right path in every area of your life. Stay balanced and spiritually aware so that you can continue moving forward on the illuminated path.” ~Doreen Virtue’s Angel Numbers 101)

Having rebounded from many things, many times in life, I know it’s possible to rebound well. We can and will rebuild our world. We can dance!

Reclaiming Privacy

If, like me, you’re getting a little bored with Big Brother watching all the time and really wish he would get bored, too, I’ve discovered a few things you can do today. I can’t vouch for whether or not other search engines are doing similar things, but Google/YouTube keep coming out with doozies.

For example, I discovered this morning that Laura Bruno’s Blog has its own YouTube channel, which, no, I did not create. It had somehow managed to link this account to a gmail address that I have never made public and that I’ve only used so far to receive a few Sprint iPhone bills. I will be changing that over and deleting my gmail account as soon as I have time to wade through that red tape. I haven’t figured out how to delete the YouTube channel, since I didn’t even know I had one anymore!

I find this YouTube channel both disturbing and ironic. Last Summer, YouTube terminated my own channel, falsely censoring my videos for supposed “repeated copyright infringement.” I’ve mentioned this fact before: despite repeat attempts to contact YouTube and Google about the impossibility of copyright infringement when I was telling my own story and observations as a Medical Intuitive and sharing my own painted doors, they refused to reinstate the channel I actually created. Yet now, somehow, it’s fine for YouTube to create its own channel “on my behalf,” which just happens to list every single video I’ve posted since March 2011 — even videos posted on entries I’ve since removed from this site.

Further down the creepy Google/YouTube chain: the day after I posted how to remove the Google and YouTube search history prior to the new non-Privacy Policy of March 1, 2012, my gmail subscribers suddenly stopped getting my blog posts delivered to their email boxes. David has a gmail account and subscribes to this blog. So far as we can tell, that had never happened before, but it did right after I sent out that post about protecting yourself from Google and YouTube tracking. After some investigation with WordPress and individual gmail subscribers, we found that my posts were now quarantined as “Spam,” but only to gmail subscribers. Several of them clicked “Not Spam,” and they appear to be getting my posts again. Coincidence? If so, an odd one.

Today, I read about Google’s ‘Ambient Background’ Spy-Tech and decided, “Enough is Enough.” Again.

Even though I never chose Google as my search engine, it came up automatically, every time on my iPhone and my laptop. I found, to my dismay, that removing Google as my default search engine took some effort. Even when I set Yahoo as my home page, for example, Google continued to run the searches on my laptop. I tried installing Dogpile as my laptop homepage, and lo and behold, there was Google, still searching and tracking away! Google started to feel like an uninvited guest who not only refuses to leave the party, but also starts to dig through your lingerie drawer, auction your private things on ebay and scope out your house for future break-ins. In a time of corporate personhood, I’d consider this Google guy a class A stalker.

I finally found out how to switch from Google to Yahoo as a default search engine on my iPhone. You can find instructions for that here.

I use Mozilla Firefox as a laptop browser, and I’m not super-techie, so it took me awhile to solve the laptop dilemma. Eventually, I clicked the Google-logo’d drop-down link in the upper right-hand corner, which offered me Google first and Yahoo second. By this time, I didn’t really want Yahoo or Google on my laptop as search engines. I’ve had run-ins with Yahoo before, though not anywhere near as major. In order to get the big guys off my auto-tab, I had to click on Manage Search Engines and then selected each of them (Yahoo and Google) for “Remove.” In need of a new search engine, I then clicked the link “get more search engines.” From there I managed to add Dogpile as my default. I used Dogpile many years ago, and it professes to combine top searches from all the major search engines. I don’t know their privacy policy, but given how much Google appears to be tracking us these days, I figured I’d give someone else a try. I like that Dogpile donates money to animals in need. I’d much rather support dogs, bunnies and kitty cats than all the Bigs, including Big Brother.

I also discovered that you can go into “Tools” on Firefox and then select “Options.” From there you can customize your “Privacy” settings, including options that say, “Tell websites I do not want to be tracked” and “Always use private browsing.”

Later, I found this other thing, which I’ve not used myself. WordPress automatically tracks referrals to any WordPress blog, but apparently, if you don’t want anyone to know how you found their site, you can type href.li in front of the blog url in order to hide your referrer. I don’t know how that works, but I can say that it does appear to work. When I click on the WordPress referral link, only the instructions to hide the referrer come up, not the referrer itself.

So, there you have it! If you’ve got gmail and you don’t see posts from me for awhile, you might want to check Spam, in case Big Brother dumps me there for awhile. I don’t feel overly upset or fixated on this privacy issue. It just feels good to say a firm, “No, thank you, and get out” so that I can refocus on all the “Yes, please, come in” opportunities in life these days. Peace!

Multiple Timelines and Healing

In the video below, you’ll find Dolores Cannon providing an excellent description of multiple timeline scenarios all in simultaneous existence. Her discussion has implications for everyday living, crossroads choices and healing, as well as ways the collective creates a New Earth.

This topic of multiple timelines arises in my own sessions, especially when people feel stuck by certain “past events.” When I try to explain that they can choose a different past, I get a lot of long pauses and resistance, along with the occasional, “Really?! I can do that?!” Yes, really. If you know Reiki Level 2, it’s even easier due to the distant healing symbol. I used to teach an all-day class solely on the power of that symbol. Even without knowing Reiki, you can use your mind, attention and intention to hop timelines at will. With full integration, you can hop to a completely alternate perceived reality. An easier/less drastic version of this process would be to imagine/select a timeline very similar to your current one but in which you recognized the bigger picture or reasoning behind a particular trauma or disappointment — at the “time” it occurred. You could then absorb the lesson without feeling anchored to that moment.

I’ve been getting so many questions lately about the shift to a New Earth, and some people feel frustrated that I won’t give them a specific, single trajectory of events and timing. As Dolores explains, many souls have returned to the Earth to help support each other in the shift; however, helping and healing can take many forms in many timelines. I’m just sharing this little snippet of Dolores to help contextualize greater possibilities than linear time. As Einstein said, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

We have an individual and collective opportunity to heal ourselves and our Earth, and we can use many tools, including alternate timelines. Imagine a world in which 9/11 went down very differently. A world in which the trauma healed quickly and openly, instead of being poked and manipulated by those who arranged it. Imagine a world in which we’ve already made the 2012 transition to a glorious New Earth. How do you feel? What ramifications do you see? What areas feel close enough to hop over to?

For those of you not aware of Dolores or her work, “Dolores Cannon is a past-life regressionist and hypnotherapist who specializes in the recovery and cataloging of ‘Lost Knowledge.’ Her roots in hypnosis go back to the 1960s. She has been specializing in past-life therapy since 1979. Dolores has been a UFO investigator for twenty years, using her skills as a regressionist to help people that had been involved in abduction cases. She has written several books on the UFO information volunteers have revealed while under hypnosis. Her latest book, ‘The Convoluted Universe, Book One,’ goes further into complex metaphysical theories and covers ‘mind-bending’ concepts.” I like her work because so much of it has discovered very similar things to what I’ve found during Past Life Readings and my own meditations. Kombucha, Kefir and Kickapoo Kimchi! Oh, My!

Just a day in the (extremely probiotic) life:

I love our local and homemade options for friendly gut health! For those who don’t know, kombucha is a fermented beverage made from tea, sugar and a special “SCOBY” culture that creates friendly bacteria and symbiotic yeast. For details on health benefits, you can click right here. I don’t drink it often, but when I do, I love supporting Madison’s very own kombucha brewer, Nessala. Today’s flavor? Seasonal Hibiscus-St. John’s Wort-Siberian Ginseng. You can also make your own ‘booch with their handy dandy starter kits. I’ve not braved kombucha making yet, although I do have an unactivated SCOBY back from my Sedona 2007 days. I’ve heard stories about the SCOBY’s taking over, but our friend, Sue, feeds her chickens the leftovers and they seem to thrive on it!

Seed starters, fermenting kefir and soaked and dehydrated buckwheat groats.

Kefir is another fermented beverage and currently one of my favorites. According to the local-ish Moonwise Herbs, who prepared our gorgeous Wild Edibles Gourmet Dinner last year:

“Kefir is a refreshing probiotic cultured-milk beverage, which is believed to originate in the Northern Caucasus Mountains many centuries ago. Kefir has a uniform thick creamy consistency, a slightly sour refreshing taste, with a mild aroma of fresh yeast. Kefir also has a slight naturally carbonated effervescent ‘zest.’

“Kefir’s tart and refreshing flavor is similar to a drinking-style yogurt, but it contains beneficial yeast as well as friendly ‘probiotic’ bacteria found in yogurt. As you know, I provide information only on this blog, so I can’t make any “real” health claims except from personal experience. That said, kefir rocks! At various times in my life, I’ve had coconut milk kefir, coconut water kefir, raw milk kefir, and it all makes me feel good! I first learned of coconut milk kefir from my friend/former neighbor, Cecilia, who used Body Ecology Starters with fresh coconut meat/water blends. She even had some success with a bottled version of flash pasteurized coconut milk. Kefir “grains” add so many enzymes and digestive aids that, while fresh is best, you really can’t go wrong with kefir — provided it’s homemade. The commercial brands filled with guar gum are quite another story, at least in my experience! Rumble, rumble, if you know what I mean. When I drink homemade kefir, my body hums. I’ve also heard enough testimonials from people with formerly autistic children to know there’s something powerful in that fermentation.

If you want a superfood version of Breyer’s Peaches ‘n Cream ice cream, try frozen organic peaches blended with milk/coconut milk/nutmylk kefir and a splash of vanilla stevia. Wow.

And the kimchi! I just can’t say enough good things about our local fizzeology fermented veggies. Sure, we could make our own and sometimes do. David has a “Perfect Pickler,” which truly does make perfect pickles and no-stink-up-the-kitchen kraut. But we met fizzeology’s Mike Bieser at a health expo where I spoke last year. He puts burdock root in his kimchi! Enough said. I love, love, love burdock! Can’t get enough. I also love the other flavors, especially ones with a Mexican flare. When you can find fermented foods this good and this local, and you’re this lazy, it just feels right to go support your local co-op, which now stocks Mike’s tasty, healthy treats. I particularly like Kickapoo Kimchi on avocados or wrapped in nori sheets for fast, satisfying snacks.

Between b-vitamins, enzymes, bio-available protein, adrenal nourishment, and friendly flora, you just can’t beat fermented foods! “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” I doubt Virginia Woolf meant kombucha, kefir and kimchi, but that’s probably cuz she hadn’t tried them. πŸ˜‰
