Free Yourself

Mars is known as the God of War, the Passionate Warrior, and the Red Planet of desire, action, competition war and conquest. Mars is also the planet which rules instinct, ambition and power…the will to overcome adversity at all cost.

Mars is absolute action fueled by passion and anger providing the focused energy to achieve.

Mars in retrograde is energy turned inward rather than outward. Pressure becomes volcanic when Mars energy is restrained or when anger is internalized. There can be covert activity, hidden agendas leading to resentments and even paranoia.

The enormous expectations you have for yourself, coming from others, open and hidden agendas (yours and others), sexual conquest and the desire to be noticed and admired. All this falls under the realm of “Mars” and the desire to achieve. When Mars is retrograde there is a noticeable lowering of vitality, loss of direction and frustration bordering on anxiety.

This just in from an office employee:

“I do feel this lack of motivation – I can’t force myself to get my work done! It is frustrating and I want to know how best to utilize this delay. I have a paper to write and my notes are all there, the thing is half-written, and I can’t force myself to even look at it!”

Mars retrograde is the opportunity to free oneself from binding, controlling memories from the past, psychological vampires, personal incarceration to in-authentic life patterns. This means the self-imposed restrictions and boundaries you have placed upon yourself after a lifetime of being conditioned, regimented, manipulated and criticized for unorthodox or individualistic behavior.

This is the opportunity for deep re-evaluation of personal motive and begin to honestly come to terms with how authentic your life has become.. .or is there something inside your own mind holding into a pattern of false being. The experiences for renewal and regeneration are born from intense encounters of one’s Shadow…long buried dreams suppressed deep within.

FREEDOM…

… freedom from the expectation of others, freedom from worry, from the future, from the things that tie you to the past and weigh you down.

Mars retrograde in Virgo brings the inclination to begin healing through closure, severance of ties and over-due endings. These ties from the past continue to manipulate and control nearly every aspect of your present life… physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual.

Now is the time to turn energy with-in and begin acknowledging every superficial social activity which drains and exhausts your vitality. Witness your own life from a point of detachment and honesty…discover who you are…is this who you really are or the result of expectations and restrictions.

Deepen your understanding of current barriers, re-active patterns grown rigid and predictable …begin to thoroughly watch yourself and your false life action toward your inner-life and begin to acquaint yourself with your authentic-self.

Consciously decide to release yourself from emotional barriers brought about from previous experiences. These patterns no longer serve your Souls progress nor do they serve your mental health. You do not even need to know what they are.

All worldly gifts are available to you immediately if you remove blocks and open yourself to receive. It takes time…and this is the time.

Now is all we have… and this Mars cycle is a very Spiritualizing process to discover your own desires within…not the approval from without. The time is now to replace fear and doubt with trust and faith.

Outer activities which drew your attention now fall to the side as the all-important task of re-moving blocks of anger, jealousy and low self-esteem issues can be rooted out by the inward journey of Mars and released by the power of the love and light or enlightenment.

We all need to stop blaming ourselves for the unhappy, draining circumstances we may find ourselves living with. The psychological weakness continues through projecting our goodness onto others and expecting a return of the same quality… truly a Virgo “service oriented” expression.

Virgo is said to govern the hands, abdomen, intestines, spleen and central nervous system. Mars retrograde in Virgo influences one to obsessively worry leading to stomach and bowel troubles, ulcers, inflammation, headaches and skin rashes. This requires attention to your immediate and personal health needs.

Focus on strengthening your body and healing the immune system with natural health remedies involving herbs, acupuncture and detox formulas.

Use any delays and set-backs as the opportunity to research into foods and nutrition specifically for you… memory, weight-loss, sleep patterns, adrenal fatigue, and food addictions… all these areas can now be addressed for personal re-balancing. Synchronicity, Inner Guidance and Ascension Packages

Regular readers of my blog know that I’m a huge fan of synchronicity and “reading” signs. With a Masters Degree in English, I’ve simply expanded my definition of “text” to include this entire living, breathing Universe. I thought I’d share some perspectives on synchronicity and how it pertains to inner guidance, seeking and finding, and divination (specifically tarot).

When people first begin to experience synchronicity, the phenomenon may feel a bit overwhelming. Clients often as me if I think they’re “crazy” for noticing signs. Others ask me, “Well?! What does it mean? Does it just happen because I’m looking for it?”

In my opinion and experience, the answer’s a bit more complex. Since attitude helps to create our world, how we feel about synchronous events plays an important role. Do we feel a sinking feeling? Does a series of closed doors fill us with dread when we keep pushing them to open? Or do we sense, “If not this, then something better”? When synchronicity blasts into your awareness, it can easily throw you into the ethers due to a persistent sense of invisible order or interference. If you feel ungrounded or spooked, get back in touch with your body. How does it feel? What messages might you be ignoring, which have now played outwards as external events? As Carl Jung reminds us, “Whatever is not conscious will be experienced as fate.”

Jung defines synchronicity as “meaningful coincidence,” further explaining, “Synchronicity reveals the meaningful connections between the subjective and objective world.” But who provides the meaning? Although I do not believe anything occurs randomly in the Universe, trying to assign meaning to every single event becomes a maddening rabbit hole. I often use a three time’s the charm measure: if something jumps out at me once, I make note of it but don’t necessarily take action; second time really gets my attention; by the third time, I begin to formulate a different direction.

That’s my general, everyday operating principle. In times of extreme prayer and quiet (or sometimes intensely loud) seeking, I pay attention to everything. I almost scan the Universe like I scan a client’s energy — searching for anomalies. I don’t force anomalies to appear. Rather, I soften my observation, blur things a bit, and pay attention to whatever pokes through. In an impressionistic painting, a touch of Salvador Dali or Piet Mondrian would certainly stand out! It’s not that impressionists are better or worse than Dali or Mondrian, just different. Having something obviously ordered, yet differently ordered begs my further attention and exploration. For those who don’t know the art history references, I’ve included a few images:

Repeats of that might very well grab your attention, right? And what about this?

The Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali

The Dali might seem (ever so slightly) less jarring than the Mondrian image if it inserted itself into the Monet, but I’d imagine the melting clocks over the bridge just might grab your attention! Actually, I love this particular Dali in a discussion of synchronicity, because a hallmark of that subjective “meaning” seems somehow very connected to the compression of time. If the seemingly linked events hadn’t occurred at the exact moment they occurred, we might have simply overlooked them, or allowed them to fade into a background blur. Synchronicity involves anomaly, Divine timing, and a willingness to see beyond what you might normally expect.

I always suggest people pray for eyes to see the signs, wisdom to interpret them, and faith to follow through on them. If you’re going to pray, you might as well go all out! But what happens when you’re just not sure? What happens if you see so many signs, some of which seem to send conflicting messages? Since we live in a vibrational Universe, Abraham-Hicks would say your experience alters as your point of attraction alters. They’ve often used the analogy of taking a trip from Phoenix to San Diego. It’s a straight shot, and if you keep heading towards your intention, you’ll get there. If, however, you become discouraged when you hit Yuma, you might endlessly cycle between Phoenix and Yuma and back to Phoenix, without ever arriving at your intended destination. In this case, your own personal synchronicities might be all over the place, depending on whether you’re heading towards San Diego or back to Phoenix!

Enter some additional wisdom from Carl Jung: “We can predict the future when we know how the present moment has evolved out of the past.” Towards the end of his life, Jung became very interested in divination tools like the I Ching and the Tarot. He regretted that he had too few participants to create a full study, but modern Tarot Readers often draw upon Jungian ideas like Archetypes and Synchronicity as a means of interpreting Tarot spreads. To me, that makes perfect sense, since which cards appear in any given spread simply reflects the vibration of whoever’s receiving the reading. The cards provide a visual, complete with artwork, Archetypes and a potential storyline (via the suit cards).

You can think of your thoughts as seeds or even eggs, which contain all the nutrients for full blown creation. Synchronicities and Tarot can be seen as indicators of how closely your vibration’s aligning with the thoughts you most want to take form. As above, so below! Great manifestors know and live this maxim. If they don’t like the tone of synchronicities, inner monologue or readings, they harness positivity and redirect their thoughts. As the saying goes:

“Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.”

This was an older draft of a post I’d shelved for editing, but it felt right to share as-is today. Perhaps someone out there’s been wondering about these topics. In any case, I hope you find the flow of ideas helpful and timely on your journey.

Portals, Evolution, and Instant Manifestation

Today we have another lengthy, but definitely worthwhile, guest blog post by Bill Ballard. He discusses something he calls “the dimensional slide,” which manifests as “doorways” to alternate realities and parallel universes. Those who’ve followed my portal paintings of actual doors know that this has been an interest of mine for quite some time (pun intended). I have shared the idea of choice points and portal openings with clients when appropriate, but I’ve not yet written too much about it. I will say that the way I access past life information has much to do with this web of interconnected realities and options. Bill explicitly discusses sacred lovemaking as a means of opening such portals, but I have found that any strong intention infused with love can manifest such options and gateways.

Perhaps Rumi said it best:

There Is a Way

The intellect says: “The six directions are limits: there is no way out.”
Love says: “There is a way. I have traveled it thousands of times.”
The intellect saw a market and started to haggle;
Love saw thousands of markets beyond that market.

Although these ideas may at first sound far fetched, I encourage people to read scientific works by people like Lynne McTaggart, who explores the interconnectedness of all things, as well as the ways our thoughts and feelings influence our external reality. She reports on actual controlled scientific studies in her books, “The Intention Experiment” and “The Field.” David Wilcock has also published a book documenting the science of reality co-creation called “The Source Field Investigations.” Some mystics, hypnotherapists, intuitives, meditators, and shamans have long known about such portals and choice points, but science is finally starting to catch up. You might also enjoy the book, “The Medium, The Mystic, and the Physicist: Towards a General Theory of the Paranormal.”

The Dimensional Slide

The Dimensional Slide. It sounds like some New Age dance step and in a way it is. As frequencies rise and spiral into the center many are experiencing contact with parallel dimensions and other realities. As frequencies elevate the veils become thinner and we find ourselves shifting into alternate realities – all happening in the now.

We know thought creates reality and vibrations allow access to various dimensions. However, as we near the center of the 2012 spiral (coming ever closer to the point of oneness) there is something else also happening. Various possible realities are conjoining. Multiple possibilities of All That Is are manifesting before our eyes.

There is a choice that each must make. It is, “What do I wish to manifest from this illusion for my own future self to experience?”

For many years we’ve been told this time would come – the time of merging timelines. This reality has now arrived. Many are now perceiving these parallel experiences and stepping into them. Many are becoming aware as they witness and/or feel moments of alternate possibilities. From my perspective these are the possible choices we can shift into for various experiences.

This is what mastery is about – that we create exactly what we intend and not step off into another cycle of lessons because we could not master our thoughts and emotions.

This subject gets deep as I ponder it. How best to express this in words?

I had experiences of this as a child. They seemed to occur as various encodings were unlocked for my spiritual growth. When I look back to those magical experiences from this time-frame it seems dimensional slides were what had actually occurred.

It is all about the possibilities of alternate realities. As we experience a slide we shift from the current reality we experience into, for a moment or more, other existing realities where our souls are also incarnated. As you know consciousness and our true selves are far greater than what the ego experiences in this life – in this body.

Yes. You have the ability to raise your frequencies and shift consciousness up and down your Antakarana to experience different dimensions and levels of consciousness anchored at various chakra levels. But you are not just what is on the Antakarana connected from Mother Earth’s Sacred Heart through you and back to Source. There are many additional fragments of yourself in alternate realities – parallel universes – experiencing all the alternate choices that were possible for you to experience in this current incarnation.

This is a deep subject, a bottomless pit in itself. What I’m saying is when you experience a meshing – a conscious touching of alternate realities while your current life plays out – it is a decision point, an opportunity to go in another direction. It is a chance to walk through a doorway that has opened when two probable realities merge for a short time.

Is this what Jesus meant when he spoke of the End Times, saying two would be in the field and one would be taken? It sometimes seems to me a doorway opens that I could step through, a portal manifesting in this reality I am used to. Do I have choice? I think so. This is no doubt why each must master experience by controlling thought and emotion.

Messages concerning mastery of thought and emotion keep arriving. That what we decide to picture in our minds is what creates and manifests our reality. As Mother Earth shifts into the higher 5th dimensional vibrations thoughts and emotions manifest more instantly. This is especially the case as we individually raise our personal vibrations.

Mother Earth’s shift into these higher vibrations is a big problem for those who have not learned to control/master personal thought, emotion and mental pictures. It is now a time of great responsibility for our personal behavior. This is what the End Times and the separation of Wheat and Chaff is all about.

You can go into any reality you create for yourself. It is all about how high you raise your frequency, what thought and emotion you wish to envision as you create the illusion you experience. The awakening is the realization that you are indeed creating reality. It is knowing you are here to experience All That Is. This includes many different levels of experience in alternate and parallel universes overlaid and side by side with the one you are attuned to in this reality. These alternate pathways are in addition to the higher dimensional levels you attune to in your day to day life.

What Is Happening In 2012

Humanity is arriving at the center point of the spiral – the zero point where all time, space and realities converge. Individuals who are just awakening may have difficulty comprehending this. I feel deeply for them. It is such a vast subject and level of awareness. That said, I also know all individuals will be given the understanding they need for their souls’ growth in these times. The Law of Attraction will see to that. The vibration each chooses to experience will create the level of teaching that resonates with personal choices for experience.

This is why you need not focus on the spiritual development of another. Each has free will and interrupting such may create a karmic tie. You really don’t want any of that to have to play out and complete! Indeed, no more Karmic bonding for me!

Back to what’s happening in 2012. As we approach Zero Point and veils continue to drop dimensional slides will increase and get stronger. They will remain unveiled longer. We will now doubt experience gateways to other realities – portals or doorways we can step through for that alternate experience. What we think and feel, and the level of vibration we emit at the time the dimensional doorway is visible brings forth resonance with the alternate reality.

I have heard of others going through portals such as this and learned it is easier to go through than it is to return to the previous reality. An example is the story of the Men In Black – those alternate universal beings that slid into our universe and brought the negativity needed for ascension. They created a portal not knowing what reality was on the other end of the wormhole. They stepped through into our universe in the area of Sirius and could not return to their point of origin. They came from a lower 2nd dimensional vibrating universe into our 3rd and 4th dimensional levels. This turned out to be a good event, one that has played an important part in Earth School’s duality experience.

It is my belief these doorways are wormholes into various alternate realities that are attracted by the vibrations we emit. It is a fork-in-the-road provided for choice. We could go either way. It is our choice whether or not we experience these alternative possibilities.

This is the dimensional slide I attune to when I experience these alternatives flowing in. My experience urges me to remind you to guard your every thought and emotion. Master them! Mastery is Key to this ascension experience! That is exceedingly obvious at this time.

And don’t get hung up about your ego. Let it go! Ego is only you in this lifetime. It is not you in these alternate realities and certainly not in the higher dimensions where ego doesn’t exist!

My Early Childhood Experience With The Dimensional Slide

My first experience was as a child. I was still in touch with my other worldly powers, having not yet been told these were just imaginary powers. I would experience times when I felt I had options concerning where to go and what to do. Looking back from my current level of comprehension I now know what my child-self believed was true. I could have been anything and done anything I wanted. These doorways were decision points capable of affecting future manifestations within this illusory reality. What I experienced were multiple forks in the road of what would/could happen as a result of the choices I made.

Later in life I found these experiences occurring in those higher levels of awareness as my spiritual encodings were unlocked. As Jim Carrey stated the awareness was experienced – felt as whole – but then slipped away as we attempted to grab it and hang on. In any event the decision we made sent us through the doorway into the life we ultimately chose to experience. What Jim Carrey was attempting to hold on to is this ultimate knowingness that lies between two worlds – the connection to the wizard behind the curtain.

The In-Between Reality Phase

The in-between phase is the doorway we step through. It is the middle ground – the point from which we see both sides. It is an unveiled point of connection to Source from which we perceive with full awareness. As I matured these dimensional slides within my field of awareness occurred from the high vibratory state of love.

It was the act of making love that opened the doorway on many occasions. At first I didn’t understand what was going on. All I knew was that it felt exciting, familiar and was triggered at the peak of oneness that results from a heart-to-heart chakra connection. I thought it was because of the partner I had at the time and our being in love. I have since discovered it has nothing to do with a certain other, even though they can take you to that state of Oneness by the love you feel for them. What I subsequently discovered was my experience represented the level of love I had opened myself to – a level that can be experienced with or without another partner.

I have since found I can experience this dimensional slide while making love but not limited to a certain individual. It is my connection to the Source Field – to that Zero Point where the veils drop and possibilities can become endless. It happens because love is Creation! But partnering can be a problem within itself as karmic bonding can occur. That we don’t want to have happen at this time! Making love is best undertaken with a prior agreement that no “cording” or emotional bonding occurs that creates karma. Sex must be sacred and only heart to heart.

How To Avoid Karmic Entrapment

Energies are transferred when you make love or allow someone to bond within your energy field. This can be a problem if your choice of partners is not a good one. People bring the energies of others into your field. These energies may consist of others they have been with, energies of other family members, their environment, or even past experience and life issues. You must be exceedingly careful regarding who you allow into your field at this time as the baggage they carry can indeed trash your energy field. Each needs to take care of personal garbage rather than leaving it in another’s field to clean and clear up. Be careful and choosy concerning who you allow to be close to you. It is your as much your personal experience as mine is my own!

I do know that love making with the right partner, and having spiritual sex can take the couple into the higher dimensional awareness as that heart to heart connection is created and the fields of the two merge into one. Remember we are all one anyway and you are only sharing love with another aspect of your self. Making love is a reconnection with another you. The sensation of being in love is simply the true loving of you! You are loving yourself and allowing the experience to enter from an external source. You think you are in love with that other you, but truly that other you is helping you break down barriers of living from the mind and assisting you to shift into heart.

The heart is where you must learn to stay. Being with others can help you make the connection from head to heart but you must stay in the heart to anchor that way of being. Doing this allows you to really love your Self and find that connection to who we truly are inside rather than looking to the external illusion for happiness. That internal connection is the connection to Source and the only true reality that is eternal. All exterior is finite and will dissolve.

On occasion – once true love is present – the perception of an opening to a different world occurs. From my perspective this is very real. It is a doorway in consciousness to experience a different reality. It is just a portal through that sacred space in your heart from which you can perceive the entire universe no larger than a beach ball in your hands as you step through.

What’s on the other side of these dimensional slides – these portals of reality that open? I don’t know. What I do know is that each time I have had supernatural experiences in this Bill Ballard lifetime the energy that has stopped me is fear. I would have a single thought emerge that limited my experience, and that single thought set the reality I would later experience. I believe my reality would have been changed. The only thing that held me back was me – my thought, emotion, and perception.

The 2012 Center Point And Dimensional Shift

We are approaching a definitive time cycle center point as we spiral ever tighter towards the galactic center. Time will continue to accelerate and issues will repeat with greater intensity as we move closer to that point. This is why now is the perfect time for mastery and completion of all lessons we came to Earth School to learn. It is time to clear karma and decide what we each wish to manifest and experience next. That is what 2012 and the coming dimensional shift is all about.

Many individuals will remain on this 3D level of experience while others will choose to step off that ride and opt for one of myriad other possibilities. If it can be thought of it exists. If not in this universe then definitely in a parallel one. We have the choice to experience anything our hearts’ desire and we are by our thoughts and emotions attracting that new experience. The excitement of 2012 unfolds with increasing rapidity. Those who have so deeply immersed themselves in the lower dimensions may find themselves having a difficult time. But that is what they need.

It is my understanding that messages as this one will always find the person seeking. That is the Law of Attraction. What we choose to allow ourselves to perceive and to experience will be aided by Spirit bringing us the tools, awareness and comprehension into our lives, for us to gain the experiences on the path we choose. There is, in reality, no good and no bad – just choice. Choice is what must be made. We have a myriad of choices allowed – choices limited only by our capacity for thought.

Not making a conscious decision to ascend is one of your choices at this time. If you decide not to ascend you will remain in the lower dimensional vibrations for another cycle of duality. That is an additional 26,000 years of time as we perceive it, and a Self-selected number of reincarnations until the next astrological cycle of ease and grace occurs.

These increasing numbers of dimensional slides are the doorways into alternate realities. You can choose to step through if you want. Simply observing the myriad options offered for alternate experience can also be done. For me personally seeing those possibilities and remaining in this ego/higher-self manifestation is my choice. I choose to create and stay in this reality. It is quite interesting to have these experiences and encounter Source in those portals between worlds.

Many are attempting to explain – with limited words – the experience we are having. This is occurring with greater frequency as many reach higher levels of vibration. I bring up this subject because I have heard no discussion of it as yet in the hopes of provoking others to share their ideas and understanding. This in turn helps me view my experience from a more enlightened perspective when I am able to contemplate other’s perceptions of similar experience.

New Moon in Aquarius and Mars Retrograde: Releasing Anger and Energy Vampires

As part of my ongoing Forgiveness Experiment, I discovered a hot technique the other night for rechanneling the negative emotions associated with psychic vampires, narcissists, and other people who’ve flagrantly betrayed our trust and boundaries. With Pluto in Capricorn, all sorts of hidden truths have begun to reveal themselves both individually and collectively. All the deepest, darkest secrets and abuses will continue to shock and bother us as this combination of planetary energies forces the Shadows into the Light. It’s time. Carl Jung reminds us, “That which we do not bring to consciousness appears in our lives as fate.” Moving through the Shadow frees us to embrace a brighter world.

In addition to Pluto in Capricorn, some other astrological energies support finding productive ways to engage and then release our anger. We’ve got the Chinese New Year on the 23rd: Year of the Water Dragon! We’ve also got a New Moon tonight in Aquarius and beginning tomorrow, Mars Retrograde in Virgo. Thanks to Tania Marie for bringing “Let the Dragon Roar” to my attention: “Welcome to Mars turning retrograde in nitpicky Virgo! The warrior planet will be retracing its steps from Jan. 23 to April 13, and continues to energize this earthy sign until July 3. Altogether, it will spend almost eight months in Virgo, helping us channel our anger and frustration, get organized, heal ancient wounds, and find constructive ways to right personal, corporate and planetary wrongs.”

Two nights ago, I tapped into Pluto for assistance in releasing resentment. I said, “Hey, Pluto, you’re the Lord of the Underworld and the phoenix rising from its ashes. I want you to help me burn through all these emotions related to ____ and help me use them as fuel for transformation. It will save me from having to sort through them at all. I’ve determined this was a toxic relationship and whatever good I got from it was mostly due to my own determination to find the gold. Now I really want to find the gold — as in Alchemy. Rather than digging around in the muckety muck of old memories, trying to sort through the good, the bad, the ugly, the guilty, the nostalgic and especially the very, very confusing, I’m just opting to burn them all. Positive and negative emotions are powerful energy. If I burn through positive emotions, I still receive their benefit. I don’t need to worry about ‘wasting good memories’ if I’m using them for fuel. And the bad memories I can use for fuel as well. I’m tired of giving away my energy to these emotions, and I’m really tired of the emotional cords that allow ____ to continue surfing off my energy. I want my energy back. I want my life to return to the here and now. I don’t need those memories, Pluto. I need and invoke total transformation. Torch ’em!”

I went to bed angry and churning over memories that have haunted me like so many tantalizing ghosts, even when the rest of life feels magically alive. No matter what I did, some memories continued to repeat at the least convenient or appropriate times — until I tried this technique as I drifted off to sleep. It’s so weird, but I can no longer access memories of many things that were formerly on constant replay. They’re just … gone … as though I burned through actual photographs in my mind. I feel energized instead of burned out. It’s working for me. I hope you find it helpful, too!

I recently found this Michael Tsarion video/radio interview, “Psychic Vampirism, Destructive Man vs Creative Man.” I think he gives one of the best explanations of the phenomenon and ways we can choose to move through it. He’s careful to distinguish between using the idea as a means of avoiding our own responsibility and the actual situation of people who purposely prey upon other people’s Light. I very much appreciate his recommendation to have fun with our process of freeing ourselves. Evolution need not be a constant drag. It need not make us feel like victims. If you’ve wondered about Energy Vampires, narcissists or Psychic Vampirism, this interview informs and inspires. It’s long, but worth the listen!

Sleep and Awakening

Just stopping by with a friendly reminder to let yourself sleep! As a Medical Intuitive, lately I’ve been hearing the same complaints from lots of people: “I’m just so tired!” “Can you believe it? I had to take a nap!” “I slept 12 hours last night.” “I’m not depressed. Not at all, actually. Things are amazing in my life right now, but sometimes I just wanna lie around on the couch all afternoon with my eyes closed.”

These aren’t people who have Lyme Disease, brain injury, cancer or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Everyone knows those folks need their rest and lots of it. The people craving so much sleep are everyday, high vibe Lightworkers who suddenly feel exhausted — and they want to know what the heck is going on. (Please don’t think that people with Lyme Disease and other injuries or illnesses aren’t Lightworkers. Au contraire! Most of them are. They just didn’t listen to the message to rest, and so Life came along and upped the urgency.) If you feel concerned about feeling extra tired lately, please take a moment to rule out the physical.

Are you getting enough sleep?
If you’re constantly robbing yourself of a full night’s sleep, then it’s no wonder you feel tired and depleted. Coffee is not a sustainable replacement for shut-eye. Find ways to nap or catch up on rest, because your body rejuvenates itself as you sleep. As long as we remain in 3D, no amount of ginseng, coffee, gaurana or raw cacao will magically and totally erase the need to recharge.

Are you eating enough high quality, raw, organic foods, fermented foods, and/or green juice?
You are what you eat, and living foods imbibe you with extra life force energy. If you do eat a high raw diet, you might also want to check the amount of raw cruciferous veggies in your menu. For some people, too much raw produce in the broccoli and kale family zaps the adrenals. For a tasty, vitamin-B filled treat, try fermenting them instead! Check nutrition levels for things like Vitamins D and B12.
A doctor, naturopath or nutritionist can easily check your levels. Especially for vegans or vegetarians in the winter Vitamin D can run low, resulting in fatigue. B12 can run low year round. There’s plenty of literature regarding these important vitamins, and I felt strongly enough about this message back in 2009 that I had an integrative nutritionist share her article about Vitamin D on my blog. I’ve also spoken and written about B12 before, not just for vegans, but as a wider issue in our society. Kevin Gianni’s interview with Dr. Gabriel Cousens describes what Dr. Cousens has found in his years of research. Please click here for that info. I’m not giving medical advice here, but in your own research you might also want to explore the works of Dr. Weston A. Price regarding Vitamin D. Shazzie is also a great resource on supplementation for vegans, especially raw vegan children.

OK, it doesn’t seem physically related, but I’m still tired!
Right. As I mentioned, I’m hearing this complaint from people who’ve already ruled out a host of physical reasons for fatigue. Most of them don’t even feel bad. They just suddenly find themselves wanting to sleep more, and feel annoyed, judgmental, concerned or curious about that fact. As a survivor of traumatic brain injury, I do understand not wanting to sleep your day away! I spent several years needing to sleep 12-16 hours per night, plus naps, and I can’t say I ever got used to it.

The same reason I needed so much sleep after my brain injury holds true for Lightworkers undergoing Ascension. The brain needs rest to heal and rewire itself. If you break your arm, you can immobilize it in a cast, but the closest thing the brain can do is sleep — or put itself in a coma. Thankfully, I’m not seeing a rush of comatose Lightworkers, but have no doubt, there’s a massive, collective rewiring in the works right now. Bruce Lipton calls it “The Biological Imperative.” Others call it DNA Activation, the Awakening, Human Evolution, or Spiritual Emergence. Lightworkers lead the way in these changes, and the fastest way to Awaken is to fall asleep. Your body and brain can rewire, troubleshoot and activate much more easily in a sleep or trance state, with no other preoccupations like traffic, sales reports or conversation.

This process of Awakening or Ascension also involves cleansing out lifetimes (yes, plural) of toxic junk, mostly emotional and spiritual. Just like a physical cleanse can knock you over with fatigue while old toxins hit the bloodstream before being processed out forever, this kind of emotional/spiritual cleanse takes energy. Our outer world simply doesn’t offer us the time or tools to sort and heal as efficiently as the subconscious naturally does on its own. We can speed up the process by accepting it and honoring this sacred shift. We can hold ourselves in a gentle space and recognize that we’re doing some of the deepest excavations of human history. As Lightworkers transmute our own feelings of shame, guilt, unworthiness and limitation, we create viable templates for humanity as a whole.

I love how Michael Tsarion describes Enlightenment. He rightly notes that most people consider it a term for growing brighter — becoming more and more filled with Light. Then he challenges us to think of the other definition of “Light.” Think of lightening our load, putting down what no longer serves. Instead of hauling around lifetimes of junk and old programming, we en-light-en ourselves by releasing heaviness. The third dimension is known for its density. If we really intend to shift into the higher, less dense dimensions, then this kind of en-light-en-ment makes perfect sense. Our subconscious carries the bulk of our weight through ancient griefs, past life issues, and a confused sense of Self. Why not let the subconscious do its thing?!

Again, we can speed along this process by going with the flow. In our natural state, humans are already far more advanced than most of the species would seem to indicate. Old programming and the barnacles of a past that no longer matters have simply gunked up our gears, slowed our chakras, and otherwise kept us tied to Ye Olde 3D World. As Dr. Joseph Murphy so prolifically explained, the subconscious mind creates reality and rules our life. We can instruct it using our conscious mind, and the subconscious mind MUST create whatever we choose to focus upon. When we sleep, we give it free reign with no interruptions from conscious “but’s,” worries or false limitations.

The subconscious mind chooses life and it chooses to expand upon whatever we direct our attention to. How ’bout we take a moment before falling asleep to ensure we get the most out of our unconscious state? If you need to forgive someone, ask your subconscious to help with that. If you need to solve your money issues, affirm that your subconscious mind already knows how and when to make it so. If you want more intuition, don’t simply request … rather expect … dreams and synchronicities to help you expand your awareness and skills. As Lightworkers we know (on some level anyway) that everything is in Divine and Perfect Order. Even sleep. We naturally evolve in the easiest and most efficient ways possible, whenever we just “lighten up” and go with the flow. If the flow encourages sleep, so be it. Some people believe 5D living won’t even involve sleep anymore. As Frauke of Schizandra and the Gates of Mu says, “We only sleep to dream.” Enjoy this time of cocooning! We’ll all be butterflies soon enough.

2012: Year of Power

Here’s Lee Harris sharing his visions of what 2012 holds for all of us. I found his 2011 predictions so spot on in retrospect that I thought I’d share his new ones here. Synchronously, I awoke this morning talking about Pluto’s influence in my chart as well as the larger world right now. I was just saying, “Pluto’s not just about rebirth. It’s about rooting out the hidden. It’s about power, so wherever Pluto makes an appearance, expect what’s hidden to show itself, expect a rebirth, and honor the power that comes from it.” According to Lee Harris, 2012 is all about power — personal, collective, how it’s used and how it manifests. One of my favorite phrases is “power to, not power over.” May we all learn to empower others and our planet with respect, rather than control. Many Blessings and Happy Saturday!
