July 2020 North Node Horoscopes Are Up!

I’ll repeat here what I often share:

If you don’t know your North Node sign, Catherine’s got a table on her site to tell you. Those of you who happen to know both your North Node sign and its house will also find value looking up the corresponding sign for that house:

1st House North Node = Aries North Node similarities

2nd House North Node = Taurus North Node similarities

3rd House North Node = Gemini North Node similarities

4th House North Node = Cancer North Node similarities

5th House North Node = Leo North Node similarities

6th House North Node = Virgo North Node similarities

7th House North Node = Libra North Node similarities

8th House North Node = Scorpio North Node similarities

9th House North Node = Sagittarius North Node similarities

10th House North Node = Capricorn North Node similarities

11th House North Node = Aquarius North Node similarities

12th House North Node = Pisces North Node similarities

For example, if you have a Leo North Node in the 12th house, your primary North Node Horoscope would be Leo, but you’ll also find guidance in the Pisces North Node information. The beauty of North Node horoscopes is that you can usually calculate the sign without an exact birth time, and the sign is always super relevant to your life path. As with anything in astrology, though, the more exact time you have, the more subtle information you can glean. (Just a little tip to pull more from these monthly North Node Horoscopes.)

June 2020 Specials

Just a heads up: Tuesday’s the last day for these. July will feature different specials.

Laura Bruno's Blog

In keeping with yesterday’s post, these specials seem like the right support to offer for the month of June.

JUNE 2020 SPECIALS

Integration Insights

This month brings the return of a special I’ve offered only once before, because I sense so many people attempting the tricky task of integration. This 20-minute reading explores seeming opposites or tensions that your soul longs to honor in a harmonious way. Competing intentions can slow you down or block your path. Identifying this split — and finding new ways to bridge the gap — will summon new and more appropriate opportunities your way.

If you already know your internal drama, we can use this time to synthesize and redirect your energy into more productive and satisfying pursuits. If you have no idea what (or even if) you’re trying to integrate, but you feel frustrated, lost or stuck, this reading will identify which parts…

Lee Harris ~ June 2020 Energy Update

This message from Lee feels even more helpful to post towards the end of this month:

Door Number 22: Justice

I finished the Justice porta-portal on Tuesday, June 23rd at 4:44 p.m., but I was “told” to post the write-up on June 25th, the day Venus stations direct. This is a commissioned piece, so some of the details remain confidential. The same person who commissioned Door Number 18: Peace of the Blue Irises asked for this portal. I actually had someone else ahead of her, plus another “Dream Guy” commissioned portal, but it felt important to do this one first — even before the ultimate theme presented itself. We had agreed on a different goddess, who may or may not arrive through a different portal.

As we discussed ideas, both the patron and I started having major dreams, synchronicities and feelings about Lady Justice. This was before the protests and riots began, but when they did, it suddenly seemed even more timely to paint this portal now.

In Tarot, Justice sits at number 8 or number 11, depending on the deck. With this as portal number 22, number 11 seemed obvious. I already knew I would include two 11’s on a scroll reminiscent of the Robin Wood Tarot deck: 11:11 is itself a manifestation portal, so that felt like a perfect opportunity. Having master numbers 11 and 22 in a portal also seems potent. Although this is a commissioned piece, it also resonates with both my May 22 birthday and my life path number 11.

Here’s a brief excerpt about master numbers 22 and 11:

“Master number 11 brings higher intuition and spiritual insight, supernatural abilities, increased sensitivity, as well as empathy and natural intelligence. The number eleven is a sign of enormous power – both mental and physical. In addition, this is the first master number from a total of three (11, 22 and 33). This number is the root of all other master numbers.

“The holder of this life path number is considered to be an old soul, not only because of their unique abilities, extreme ability to empathize and understand and respect others, but the main reason is very mature thinking. A child with this master number may only be 12 years old, but their way of thinking may be similar to a person who is sixty years old.”

“The numerology science attributed the master number 22 to the Master Builder. The holders of a master number 22 have the highest chance to turn their dreams into reality, they are efficient and can handle large projects.

“Considered to be the most influential number of all, it can give deep spiritual understanding, facilitating the appliance of knowledge in a practical way, which will eventually lead to success. The master number 22 is considered to serve the world in a practical way.” (More on these master numbers here and here.)

On June 16, “I received a sense that true Justice looks at all the angles, considers all the information on all different levels, including history. I suddenly got an ‘instruction’ to write up all the quotes from my prior portals, in order, and post them on the blog. ‘Read the larger message opening through these doors.’” You can read those quotes here. I share this background because it seems to amplify this small yet mighty portal — the smallest one I’ve painted yet, just 5 x 7″.

As usual, I need to apologize for the photos. These portals are so difficult to photograph! I’ll include different colors and angles to try to give an approximation of what it looks like in person. It’s bright and sunny today, but we had dark skies during and after I finished. Since I wanted to get it to the patron in a timely manner, I didn’t hold onto it until we got sunnier weather, which means some of these photos look less clear than I’d like. I feel like there’s a higher reason for this, though, kind of like I can never photograph our weeping birch when it has active faery sparkles. Some things just don’t (or won’t!) translate to photographs. Continue reading

Ann Kreilkamp ~ The Great Conjunction Jupiter/Saturn: Grounding Energy for Lift-Off

With Summer Solstice and a powerful Solar Eclipse behind us, friend, astrologer and permaculturist Ann Kreilkamp looks ahead to the powerful planetary alignments on Winter Solstice. While no one can definitively say when the Age of Aquarius began or begins, Winter Solstice 2020 seems a likely candidate with Jupiter and Saturn conjuncting at 0 degrees 28 minutes Aquarius.

As usual, this happens in very key spots of my natal chart and life. My Moon sits at 1 degrees 14 minutes Aquarius, so this Jupiter/Saturn conjunction closely conjuncts my Moon, which, in turn activates an exact Grand Trine in Air among my Aquarius Moon, Gemini Sun and Libra Pluto. Some astrologers theorize that the Star of Bethlehem occurred at a Jupiter/Saturn conjunction, and I grew up in “The Christmas City,” Bethlehem, PA. David and I got married on Winter Solstice 2016.

On the Eve of Last Winter Solstice, I experienced a surreal and spontaneous “initiation” involving a Womb exhibit, powerful death and rebirth imagery, including a huge synchronicity with my birth time, owls and then finding a dead coyote frozen on the edge of Lake Michigan — right at dusk on this longest night of the year. I described some of that experience and included photos in a blog post, but the full tale remains complex and deeply personal. In any case, for me and for many others, it doesn’t feel too soon to bring Winter Solstice 2020 into our awareness. Here’s Ann encouraging us to find greater context from the previous conjunction in May 2000:

The Great Conjunction Jupiter/Saturn: Grounding Energy for Lift-Off

by Ann Kreilkamp

Note: Hold on to your hats, this is a long post!

Please keep in mind that this turbulent year’s finale will occur on Winter Solstice, December 21, the holiest day of the year, which will just so happen to feature what is known as a Great Conjunction between Jupiter and Saturn, at, guess what? 0° Aquarius!

Yes, I’d say that if we have been waiting all these decades for the Age of Aquarius to begin, it will finally ignite! But, a note of caution: electric Aquarius ramps up to warp speed only after death/rebirth Pluto itself also moves into Aquarius, in 2024. Between 2021 and 2024, expect a see-sawing between old and new: vertical, control-obsessed New World Order hierarchy vs. horizontal decentralized permacultural networking; the 1% (Capricorn) versus the 99% (Aquarius); doing things in old, stuck ways, versus using our imagination to explore and invent entirely new (and, paradoxically, ancient) ways of being and doing on planet Earth and out to the Great Beyond. For if any sign indicates space exploration, it’s Aquarius.

Wikipedia:

When studying the Great Conjunction of 1603, Joannes Kepler. thought that the Star of Bethlehem might be the occurrence of a Great Conjunction, which occurred in 7 BC.

(If so, I imagine the Star of Bethlehem included a conjunction of Mars, or maybe Venus for a short while, to give that bright spot in the sky extra punch for the Three Wise Men.)

What’s important here, is that Great Conjunctions of  Jupiter and Saturn, the two planets that function as a bridge between the individualized consciousness (short cycled planets, including Sun, Moon, Venus, Mercury, Mars) and the planets of the collective unconscious (Uranus, Neptune Pluto and beyond), concern the manifestation of goals, plans, structures (Saturn) that are granted extra oomph (Jupiter) during each 20 year period.

And when did the last Great Conjunction begin? May 2000. We are only a few weeks from a 20 year anniversary during this month of June 2020. And what sign was it in then? Taurus, the most earthy earth sign, fixed, security-oriented, stable, and stubborn as hell. If there is any single sign that correlates with the natural world, it is Taurus. Continue reading

Happy Solstice + A Sky Alert

In honor of Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, I thought I’d post some sunshine yellows from the garden. Very soon after Solstice, we’ve got a Solar Eclipse at 2:41 a.m. Eastern US time, plus Father’s Day tomorrow. Sending heartfelt blessings to all.

For those interested in an in depth sky weather report, Astrobutterfly does a great job here. As usual, key spots in my natal chart and life get activated by this eclipse. It’s really uncanny how this keeps happening in such precise ways. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy these sunshine yellows:

Divine Doorway and Portal Quotes

Every time I paint a portal “door,” even commissioned pieces, it involves a lot of internal processing and Dreamwork. This Lady Justice Portal is no different in that regard. Both the person I’m creating it for and I have been deeply focused and receiving all sorts of guidance.

Today, I received a sense that true Justice looks at all the angles, considers all the information on all different levels, including history. I suddenly got an “instruction” to write up all the quotes from my prior portals, in order, and post them on the blog. “Read the larger message opening through these doors.”

Keep in mind, I’ve painted these portals across more than a decade of linear time. Most came through dreams, intuition and visions, sometimes with years between each portal. Even so, the quotes read like some kind of cosmic instruction manual, building on the prior message even if I didn’t realize it at the time. It’s also curious to find all these sky and star references, because for many years, I had no idea I was encoding so much astrology into the doors.

Here are the quotes, in order:

1. “There are things known and things unknown and in between are the doors.” –Jim Morrison

2. “Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.” – Joseph Campbell

3. “Wherever you are is the entry point.” – Kabir

4. “Trust in dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity …” – Kahlil Gibran

5. “The sky, the sky beyond the door is blue.” – Ryan Stiles

6. “There is always one moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in.” -Graham Greene

7. “Between God and the soul, there is no between.” – Julian of Norwich

8. “Happiness often sneaks in through a door you didn’t know you left open.” – John Barrymore

9. “Remember, my friend, you must go down the road to know, it is as above and so below.” (Shawn Blackwolf)

10. “There are two mistakes one can make on the road to truth … not going all the way and not starting.”–Buddha

11. “A sky as pure as water bathed the stars and brought them out.” – Antoine de Saint-Exupery

12. “You’ll see the sky is open now.” – Donna DeLory

13. “Let my heart open the door to your heart as wide as the world.”  (Krishna Das)

14. “And think not you can direct the course of love, for love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” – Kahlil Gibran

15. The entire 18 Armanen Rune sequence.

16. “Not all who wander are lost.” – J.R.R. Tolkien

17. “Love says, ‘There is a way. I have traveled it thousands of times.'” – Rumi

18. “Sometimes you don’t know when you’re taking the first step through a door until you’re already inside.” Ann Voskamp

19. “Take a small step in the direction of a dream, and watch the synchronous doors flying open.” – Julia Cameron

20. “Be an opener of doors.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

21. “If you open the door of wisdom, all other doors will be opened.” – Mehmet Murat ildan

22. (in process now) “The universe and the light of the stars come through me.”  – Rumi

Garden and Portal Update

I’m busy with sessions and painting portal number 22, then need to work on July’s North Node Horoscopes. I painted and coded the back and hope to finish this mini “door” sometime this week. Meanwhile, the garden continues to bloom and produce, which makes a garden update the easiest blog post available. I thought I’d share this mix of herbs, edibles and flowers in back and front yards. Enjoy!
