Ringing in a New Decade and a New Earth

I’ve had so many potent dreams — even more so than usual. A recent one, I called “Nurture Tenderness,” involved “six agreements” whose enactment would bring in the New Earth frequencies. The first of those agreements was “Nurture Tenderness.” I decided to share a little more here as we close out 2019 and enter 2020, because Tania mentioned how my dream reminded her of Lee Harris’ 2020 Energy Forecast, recorded 12/12/19, but which she just posted today. He, too, lists six themes, which coincide with so many of my recent dreams. From Lee’s YouTube channel:

Themes discussed in the 2020 Energy Forecast include:

BLINDING CLARITY (Intuition/Truths + Truth-Telling/Mental Re-arrangement)

RISE OF LOVE THROUGH DEATH AWARENESS (The death of people/relationships/animals/nature/systems)

COLLABORATION AND TEAMS (The Upswing of people coming together to collaborate and work with each other)

GROUNDING VIA NATURE (The technology take-off/distraction of attention being leveled through Nature but also Natural Disasters/Loss and local events)

CREATIVITY AT HIGH SPEED (Faster than ever creative endeavors – with less internal resistance and more need/embrace in the outside world)

HEART HEALING (Conflict Energy showing up as a trigger for heart healing/the rise of emotional awareness and the need for more people to lead in the realms of heart healing, mindfulness and emotional intelligence)

His video clocks in at 1 hour 11 minutes, and you can watch it here:

Lee’s list summarizes my past four months of extremely intense and often quickly validated, precognitive dreams. I’ve also experienced what I can only describe as “spontaneous rituals,” where life creates such elaborate synchronicities that they feel like planned rituals, dripping in lush symbolism, with a beginning, middle and end. I am not the same person I was before encountering these journeys, most of which feature over-the-top womb, birth, and death symbolism. Here’s a photo from an exhibit called “The Womb,” by artist Rebecca Louise Law, at Meijer Sculpture Gardens:

IMG_3830

My experience inside this corridor and womb (made of nearly one million dried flowers) was so personal that I don’t feel led to share it here. Entering the floral womb in the center, with a loud heartbeat over just imperceptible music, and all that fragrance triggered an inner rebirth that then continued to spill forth throughout the day, in synchronicities with my exact birth time, first breath and finding a perfectly hidden, (yet intuitively revealed to me and then validated) dead coyote in half-frozen sand sculptures on the edge of Lake Michigan’s waves. Just before sunset. On the Eve of Winter Solstice. I’m still unpacking the entire day’s events. Too personal and interwoven with synchronicity overloads to share more here.

In my same dream that featured the party/class sharing the six agreements to facilitate living on the New Earth, there was another part of the dream that involved sniffing a “really stinky navel.” It was actually my own navel, but the stinky navel brought a big grin and was “OK, because it can give birth.” The really stinky navel had something to do with Cosmic Rebirth. It smelled of deep Earth and ozone — extremely pungent, green moss and fertile soil.

Another dream featured special boxes that could “rejuvenate very old people” if delivered to the correct address, which was “20 Virgo.” Besides a personal meaning to me, I find it fascinating that the Dane Rudhyar Sabian Symbol for 20 Virgo invokes a New World collective journey:

PHASE 170 (VIRGO 20°): A CARAVAN OF CARS HEADED TO THE WEST COAST.

KEYNOTE: The need of cooperative effort in reaching any “New World” of experience.

It is difficult to know, from the original formulation of the clairvoyant’s vision, the type of caravan of cars that was visualized; what seems to be clearly implied is a process in which a group of persons are journeying together — thus linking their consciousnesses and energies (the “car” symbol) — in order to safely reach the goal of destiny. Here there is no longer any sense of competition, but an ordered and structured endeavor.

At this last stage of the five-fold sequence the past is entirely left behind; men cooperate in the great “adventure in consciousness” in a TOTALIZATION OF PURPOSE AND EFFORT.

In order to deliver the rejuvenating boxes to 20 Virgo, “I had to crawl out of this dirt floor passageway with the boxes intact, then down another ladder and try to find the right location where the people were, who needed reviving.” (I’m quoting from today’s dream journal entry.)

“On the way, there was a display with all sorts of stories made out of tiny seeds. People kept asking me if this was the story they heard in their youth, but how would I know that? I just guessed sometimes yes, sometimes no. The colored seeds in transparent vertical boxes were like the book covers.” (Everything was arranged like a library, and each seed contained an entire story, each vertical glass holder appeared as a book with thousands of seeds making up the images of the book covers.) “Time was running a little short, and I needed to get to the 20 Virgo, which was now an address.”

I don’t have exact interpretations of these dreams, but the symbols seem over the top and not just relevant to me.

On a recent walk, I silently asked if I could and should trust what I’ve been shown as the new coming in. I immediately noticed a feather on the ground. I walked past the feather, then heard, “Turn around. Pick it up. That was for you.” Before turning around, I felt/knew “It’s an owl feather.” Sure enough, it appears to be so. Its edges have the special fringe that allows for silent flight. As I continued my walk, a solitary stag with medium sized antlers walked slowly across the road in front of me.

This morning’s sunrise came between very low and very high, dark thick clouds, initiating between these layers a long, horizontal rainbow. I wasn’t sure what, if anything, to share as we close out this decade, but this seems just right.

Love, Blessings and Happy New Year!

Happy Solstice, Happy Anniversary, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas Eclipse!

I’m not sure how much I’ll be online for the rest of this year. On Saturday, December 21, 2019, Winter Solstice arrives, right on David’s and my third anniversary of our Winter Solstice marriage. We’ll celebrate the change of seasons with a long weekend and a few of our favorite things. We’ll also feel our way into the dynamic energies finishing out 2019.

Depending on your location, Christmas or Boxing Day this year includes a New Moon at 4° Capricorn and an annular Solar Eclipse. As far as eclipses go, this one feels rather lucky with Jupiter at 5° 20′ Capricorn in a harmonious, Earthy trine with Uranus at 2° 45′ Taurus. This combo brings wild, liberating, revolutionary Uranus to support Jupiter’s truth, expansion and luck. Not many people look at the Centaur Pholus, but this “small thing, BIG EFFECT,” slow moving powerhouse will be at 2° 8′ Capricorn on December 26, almost exactly trine that wild Uranian energy. With expansive Jupiter so close by, we might find that tiny moves during this eclipse produce exponentially large results over the next six months.

It takes a New Moon to ground and activate intentions made during the previous Full Moon. At 12:12 a.m. on 12/12 (Eastern US time), this Full Moon released a potent explosion of pent up energy: Saturn, Venus and Pluto conjunct at 19-21° Capricorn, with the Full Moon forming a creativity-generating quincunx at 19° Gemini. The quincunx (aka inconjunct) aspect demands integration of energies that appear to have nothing in common. A tall order — made taller if you happen to have any natal or progressed planets in the 19-21° range of Gemini or Capricorn. I do, and I definitely experienced that Full Moon in a major way. I know many clients did, too.

This New Moon Solar Eclipse and its roll out over the next six months will give further insights into and support for that Full Moon integration process. On the collective level, this involves finding ways to merge playful, trickster, mutable, chatty Gemini with cardinal, karmic, professional, law and order Capricorn. Tensions between eternal child and stern patriarch may arise — and we must find ways to honor both. In addition, we’ll need to find balance between superficial, verbal gymnastics and technical “truth,” versus a more somber and rigid sense of rules and honesty. We need both Gemini and Capricorn during this period of increased revelations. Gemini knows how to make difficult messages more palatable, and Capricorn brings integrity to that process.

This Christmas Solar Eclipse features the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all in Capricorn. That much Capricorn can feel heavy, so remind yourself that the days are getting longer, bit by bit in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere, you’ve got Summer. All that sunshine should offset the occasional Cappy Gloom. In the Northern Hemisphere, it may help to hearken back to traditions of light: candles, fireplace, staring at the stars.

Take this time to go inside yourself and find your own light in the darkness. We are both Shadow and Light, Earth and Spirit. Even if you don’t follow events in the sky, you feel them in your body just by virtue of living on this planet at this time. We live in miraculous, challenging and potent times. Honor your courage in choosing to be here now. Thank you for being here.

Whichever holy days you celebrate, I wish you a beautiful rest of 2019. I may or may not return here before the New Year. I’ve got an exciting new collaboration to announce in 2020, and some new projects in the works, as well as old ones on the docket for completion soon. (Yes, The Metaphysics of Lyme Disease, I mean you!) The past ten years have been a wild ride. I filed divorce on the Blue Moon of December 31, 2009, and now I’m completing nine years of living together and three years of marriage with such a sweet, tender, loving, funny man. I feel blessed and deeply grateful.

$77 Reiki Special

Save $8 off the usual rate for an hour of long distance Reiki, an ancient healing method rediscovered in the 19th century by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui. The “Rei” in Reiki stands for “universal” or” spiritual,” and the “ki” corresponds to the “life force energy” known as “Chi” or “prana” in other Eastern systems of healing and energy work such as feng shui, Tai Chi, Qigong, or yoga.

Thus, Reiki refers to “universal life force energy,” “divinely directed healing energy,” or “life energy of a spiritual nature,” with an emphasis on subtle energy fields rather than the physical body. By working on all the different levels, Reiki helps the body to relax into a state that allows optimal self-healing. Reiki can also empower and support intentions and events.

Sacred Decorating

This wants to go up again today.

Laura Bruno's Blog

Today’s post comes as a follow-up to a post from two years ago: How to Thrive in a Less than Ideal Location. I write now from a place of gratitude, post-relocation and feeling ideally placed, but I thought I’d share additional insights from the new location. So often I hear from clients that they feel misplaced, lonely, sick or stuck, with no sacred space to call their own. If that describes you, then do check out the previous link, too. If, instead, you feel largely well placed but you want to upgrade your surroundings, then today’s post offers suggestions for adding even more sacred experience into your everyday home, office, or little corner.

Why Bother?

“I have more important things to worry about than decorating.”

“It’s too overwhelming. If I start, I’ll never finish.”

“My space looks good enough, but I don’t feel inspired or energized. Why can’t I…

Door Number 20 ~ Oak, Ash and Thorn, aka the Isis Portal

I spent this past weekend, Monday and Tuesday painting a door given to me by our Goshen landlord when I took over the Blue House as an office next door. This was a skinny, dirty door with a shoelace handle, and we lugged it from Goshen when we moved to Kalamazoo in 2017. At some point, I felt eager to paint another door, but David told me he threw it away in our purge after arriving. He really thought he had, so whenever I wished I could paint this door, he’d say, “No, remember, I threw it away. I’m sorry.” I just couldn’t get it into my head that he had really thrown it away, no matter how many times he told me.

Fast forward to the weekend before Thanksgiving when David suddenly decided we needed a lighting upgrade in our dining room. He changed the chandelier to LED lights with an LED dimmer, and the flicker, hiss and tone drove me batty. It wasn’t just “Laura’s sensitive to light and sound,” this was awful! Like, I will never eat at home again kind of bad. He switched things back to incandescent with a new dimmer and installed 60-watt incandescent bulbs instead of 40’s. That change also caused an audible hiss and strobe effect: back to the 40-watts, but David had gotten used to much more light.

We compromised by buying a three-headed LED floor lamp for the corner, which meant moving plants to different locations. It also opened up the other side of the dining room window, as that plant went into our bathroom, replacing a plant that really wanted to go up front. The former plant location looked barren, but having a plant on only one side of the window looked imbalanced. We agreed to keep the area clear and that we’d know the next thing when we encountered it.

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving at David’s cousins’ house with their daughter, son-in-law, grandkids and friends from Canada. When new people ask what I do, I always need to intuit what kind of answer to give. This time I said, “I’m a life coach and an artist,” intending to gloss over both topics without going too much into either one. I didn’t mention “intuitive” or “writer” because I didn’t want to get into those discussions as an unknown guest at someone else’s close family gathering.

“Ohhhh, what do you paint?!”

“We need to see pictures.”

Each new person who walked into the room learned: “Laura paints doors. Yes, doors! We really need to see some photos.”

I pulled up the Divine Doorways and Porta-Portals page on my phone, so I could show them a few quick photos, but the talk continued all day. Our hostess volunteered to get a truck so she could drive me to galleries with all my doors. David and I explained that I’ve been painting canvases lately, because the doors are so large and heavy. Someone mentioned getting me more doors just for gallery showings, as which point, I said, “Oh, I do love doors! They’re so much more fun to paint than canvases. There was this one small door, a real skinny one from our last landlord, but David threw it away.”

“Actually, I found it.”

“YES!” (insert triumphant arm motion) Continue reading
