March 2023 Specials

March 2023 initiates a big shift in energies. As always, I intuit which specials to offer each month. These seem extra supportive right now:

MARCH 2023 SPECIALS

Personal Preparedness Session

I keep getting emails asking me to provide my take on:

“What’s happening in the world right now?”

“What’s going to happen in the future?”

“How much food do I need on hand?”

“Do I need to pull my money out of big banks?”

“Do I really need to worry about ____?”

“How do I start a successful garden?”

“Should I relocate?”

“How do I magically protect myself and my property?”

“Do you really see a positive way through these times?”

There are no hard and fast answers to these questions, because they VERY much depend on who you are, how you are, and where you are (your physical location and your current life circumstances). I don’t provide general answers because general answers do not apply to everyone. Even people who live in the same community can have extremely different experiences.

This new 30-minute special tailors the answers to you and your particular situation and energy. $123 to answer those pesky questions that nag you in the wee hours of the morning. Offer valid if prepaid on or before 3/31/2023. Please contact me to sign up.

Timeline Tune-Up

This 40-minute offering helps identify which areas of your life can most benefit from the energetic openings in the next few months. I focus your reading on finding small shifts you can make in order to generate monumental trajectory changes — kind of like switching the tracks on a railway. Tiny adjustments in the here and now can result in hugely different journeys later. $144 if prepaid on or before 3/31/2023. (Save $33 off the usual 40-minute rate.) Please contact me to sign up.

This special can be standalone or an add-on to the Personal Preparedness Special.

Oops! I got way ahead of myself in the email version of this and listed expiration date for 7/31/2023. The correct expiration date is 3/31/2023.

How to Prepare for March 2023 Energies

March 2023 initiates major collective shifts. What can we expect? How can we prepare for the best and worst of these new energies? The end shares a very important message for our times. I tried to make this accessible even for people who don’t understand astrology.

March 2023 Forecast and First Quarter North Node Horoscopes

MARCH 2023 FORECAST

HUGE shifts this month! Mars leaves Gemini after seven months, and Saturn leaves Aquarius for the first time since December 2020. But the truly seismic collective shift occurs when Pluto leaves Capricorn for the first time since 2008. This move could feel chaotic at first, but it provides a hint of revolutionary things to come. Pluto only remains in Aquarius until June 11, 2023, when he’ll retrograde back to Capricorn until January 2024.

Shorter cycled planets also change signs, and the New Moon in Aries occurs in the first degree of the first sign. Talk about fresh energy! Amidst all the newness, Jupiter–the great benefic–conjuncts Venus on March 2, Chiron on the 12th, and Mercury on the 28th, all in Aries, the sign of personal autonomy and the self. Jupiter brings optimism, generosity and a huge capacity for faith. Three Jupiter conjunctions in a month of big shifts bode well for our ability to embrace big change.

I have a new YouTube channel with videos explaining some of these transits in greater depth. You can find that channel here, and I linked to relevant videos in the descriptions below.

March 1-2 Venus conjunct Jupiter in Aries. March begins with Big Love! An optimistic time for romance, finances and self-confidence.

March 2 Mercury enters Pisces. Communication turns nebulous. Mercury is considered “debilitated” in Pisces, meaning this sign can garble the sharpness and clarity that Mercury prefers. You can use this time between now and March 19th to enhance a meditation practice and find extra inspiration for art, song and poetry. Visions come through, but they might not be literal. This is an excellent time to write fantasy or to use your imagination to create a more beautiful world.

March 7 Full Moon in Virgo at 7:40 a.m. Eastern. Less than an hour later, Saturn enters Pisces. Dane Rudhyar’s Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon point is:”(VIRGO 17°): A VOLCANIC ERUPTION. KEYNOTE: The explosive energy of long-repressed contents of the subconscious. … The Keyword is EXPLOSION.” With Saturn–Lord of Karma–making a big move into the last and most spiritual sign, we might expect some kind of poetic justice. Situations left unsatisfied by legal courts may experience divine intervention. This is particularly true for anything involving fraud, deception and illusions. Details and thorough research (Virgo) also support breaking through (Moon trine Uranus) carefully crafted “spells”and cognitive dissonance (Pisces). Something major could play out between now and the April 6 Full Moon in Aries, but Saturn will demand responsibility in all Pisces areas for the next three years. (You can find more on Saturn in Pisces here.)

March 11-12 Jupiter conjunct Chiron in Aries. Healing is on the itinerary today–big healing. It’s easier to feel hope with Jupiter involved. If you’ve felt discouraged on the healing journey, this transit reminds you to look at a bigger picture. Situate your individual challenges into a larger framework. Who or what inspires you to keep forging ahead? Jupiter only conjuncts Chiron in Aries once every 50 years, so this is a big opportunity, especially if you have natal Chiron in Aries.

March 16 Venus enters Taurus. The Love Goddess returns to her home sign, bringing extra sensuality, beauty and a clear sense of traditional values. Good food, good friends, and good scenery take center stage. If you’ve struggles with finances, this next three weeks could bring relationships that assist your bottom line. Watch for opportunities, and be sure to express your gratitude.

March 19 Mercury enters Aries. Life speeds up with the Messenger in the first sign of the zodiac. This is an extra mental place for Mercury. Affirmations for courage work well at this time. Leaders with great oratory skills come to the forefront. The ever shortening collective attention span gets even shorter for the next few weeks. If you feel scattered, keep a notepad of ideas. Mercury in Taurus will help ground those thoughts into reality. For now, enjoy the brainstorming and mental clarity after Mercury’s time in dreamy Pisces.

March 20 Sun enters Aries. Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, Autumn Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. Venus conjuncts the True North Node today. This meeting occurs in her home sign of Taurus, giving Venus even more strength and grace than usual. Fresh, new energy infuses the world, especially in areas of love, money, self-esteem, physicality and the arts. In addition to Venus, Juno (the wife of the zodiac) also conjuncts the North Node, bringing extra emphasis to destiny level romantic relationships and marriage.

March 21 New Moon in Aries at 1:23 p.m. Eastern US time. This New Moon occurs in the very first degree of the first sign of the zodiac. It marks a true reset for the entire world. The 1:23 timestamp gives those in the Eastern US timezone an extra blast of “Go Time!”

March 23 Pluto enters Aquarius. “Power to The People.” This is the biggest shift this month, and the biggest shift this year. Pluto will only remain in Aquarius until June 11, 2023 before retrograding back to Capricorn until January 2024, but this gives us an important preview of those energies. If you feel empowered, regenerated and excited by this transit, embrace those changes. Lean into them. If you feel the Pluto tsunami of destruction looming or actively crashing, use this time to address areas that you already know need to change. Pluto will empower such changes if you go with the flow. If you try to resist necessary changes, Pluto will eventually win. You can save a lot of time, energy and trauma by upgrading instead of clinging to that which no longer serves. Beware of attempts to control the masses through technology. The dark side of Pluto in Aquarius involves things like digital IDs, CBDC, nanobots, and neuro implants. The positive side of Pluto in Aquarius brings innovations that truly serve and empower all of humanity, not just self appointed “elites” and “experts.” (I created a video about Pluto in Aquarius. You can find that here.)

March 25 Mars enters Cancer. Emotions drive action. After seven months in mental Gemini, the God of Action, War and Passion enters this watery sign ruled by the Moon. We discover how we feel about all the changes initiated earlier this month. We also bring the information revealed with Mars in Gemini into our emotional space. The pace slows as we integrate things in our own lives, homes and families. (I created a video about Mars in Cancer. You can find that here.)

March 28 Jupiter conjunct Mercury in Aries. Big words, big ideas and expansive understanding mark this date with new energy. A powerful day for positive affirmations. Beware of boasting and gloating. Big truths could also come to light, but take it easy on the “I told you so’s.” It’s enough to have people finally “get” it. A new philosophy of life starts to emerge.

How March’s sky weather affects you will vary, depending on your entire natal chart, but your North Node Horoscope transcends monthly sky events. That’s because your North Node reveals what your soul came here to do. By midlife, the soul starts longing and pressing us to live our true purpose. At first, it whispers through intuition. Then it knocks a little louder through “coincidences” and external events. When not heard and honored, the soul’s longing can show up as health crises, marriage or work issues, or wondering “is this all there is?” If you feel a need to reinvent yourself, following North Node guidance helps you do that authentically — for you.

Unlike generic Sun Sign horoscopes, which ignore so many other aspects, following North Node guidance will always lead you in the right direction. Doors open, healing happens, relationships improve, and life gets more magical. This quarterly column will help you tap into your personal North Node Mojo. When you start living your North Node purpose, we all win, because you not only begin to light up your own life. You light up the world.

You can find your North Node sign here which is often different than your Sun sign. If you’re right on the cusp, consider both possibilities or book a reading for more clarity.

FIRST QUARTER 2023 NORTH NODE HOROSCOPES

ARIES NORTH NODE: First Quarter 2023 is good to Aries North Node natives! In January both Venus and Mars make supportive sextiles to Aries. Explore your passions and take action, especially from January 12 onward. Expansive, optimistic Jupiter–the Great Benefic–moves through Aries for this entire quarter. In March, Jupiter conjuncts Venus, Chiron and Mercury in Aries, adding blessings in relationships, healing, communication and big picture goals. Some of this quarter involves careful planning for your next twelve-year cycle. Dream big and have courage to make bold moves when opportunities arise. Keep your eyes, mind and heart open for miracles. Forge ahead. This is not an ordinary quarter.

TAURUS NORTH NODE: Continue to focus on liberation, as Uranus and the North Node make their way through Taurus. On March 16, Venus enters her home sign, bringing extra blessings, beauty and self esteem. You’ll experience productive friction from planets squaring your nodal axis from Aquarius. Challenges do not mean you’re off path. They nudge you to course correct in order to experience new levels of abundance and security. Taurus prefers not to change, but your sign continues to receive activations that demand adjustment. PTSD from Scorpio South Node memories could trigger fight or flight. If so, pause. Breathe deeply, step back from the situation and ask, “How am I already on higher ground?” Instead of telling everyone your answers, let these marinate and percolate behind the scenes. Once affirmations become habits, you can safely reveal your shifts even if others disapprove.

GEMINI NORTH NODE: As we move through Aquarius Season, any planet from Aquarius offers a supportive trine to Gemini. Anything from Aries offers a supportive (but more subtle) sextile to Gemini. This means Gemini North Node natives will also benefit from Jupiter moving through Aries until May 17. You’ll receive empowering, expansive energy for relationships, healing, and communication. If you’ve felt stuck, things should shift once Mars stations Direct in Gemini on January 12. From then through March 23, the God of Action and Willpower supercharges your sign. On March 25, Pluto begins to trine Gemini from Aquarius. Open your mind to possibilities of sudden action after a long pause. This quarter has an “awakening from the nightmare” feel to it, as well as rewards for patience and hard work. Saturn’s move into Pisces urges you to find a new spiritual foundation and structure for your life.

CANCER NORTH NODE: The January 6th Full Moon highlights your North Node sign, bringing a powerful reset to 2023. Whether through ritual or a quiet moonlit walk, really use this date to tune into your highest potential. The Moon rules Cancer, and this is one of the most powerful Full Moon’s all year. This quarter brings lovely energy from fellow Water sign Pisces, starting with Venus on January 26. The Sun follows in mid-February, with Mercury and Saturn joining in March. These soft trines to your North Node offer a chance to upgrade relationships, commitments and your all important home base. Mars enters your sign on March 25, activating destiny level change. With the God of Action moving through your sign, you’ll feel more energized and able to utilize emotions as fuel. After the slog of the last few years, First Quarter 2023 offers a chance to ground and revitalize yourself in something new.

LEO NORTH NODE: Aquarius Season urges retrospection and release for Leo North Node natives. Your Aquarius South Node gets a workout, especially in January. If old relationships, patterns or issues arise, recognize these as the completion of a cycle. You’re not backsliding. The Universe just wants to know, “Are you sure you want to leave all this behind?!” If “this” involves codependency, peer pressure and being a wallflower, then your soul says, “Yes! I’m ready to move beyond the old restrictions.” Cosmic Taskmaster Saturn has made his way through Aquarius since December 2020. That changes on March 7 when Saturn enters Pisces. You can sigh with relief having made it through another 28-year long sorting process. When deciding what stays or goes, pay attention to whatever makes your heart sing. Fame and fortune want to find you. The secret is dropping into your heart instead of your head. You matter.

VIRGO NORTH NODE: Pisces Season triggers your South Node, bringing old addictions, illusions and delusions home to roost. You might want to zone out, but discipline will serve you well. The March 7 Full Moon in Virgo offers a chance to get back on track if your New Year’s Resolutions petered out. That same day, Saturn enters your South Node sign. If you haven’t released that which no longer serves, Saturn will make his list, check it ten times and make sure you have a copy. Resisting this process slows your momentum. Embracing the need to create new habits brings balance and meaning to your life. Things that seem far away just need you to show up. Take a single step, and then another. Calendars, lists, and habits take you further than you can imagine. Yes, you’re a powerful daydreamer, but your soul wants you to be here now. Take those visions and give them tangible form. You have so much to offer this world!

LIBRA NORTH NODE: A feeling of destiny pervades this quarter. Anything in Aquarius or Gemini supports your nodal axis–helping you to release old patterns and step into why you came here. When Mars stations Direct in Gemini on January 12 and Pluto enters Aquarius on March 23, fellow Air Sign Libra gets a cosmic “go ahead.” These changing times offer great opportunities, but Libra North Node natives need to consider others, as well as their own needs. Take time to assess situations before charging full speed ahead. Jupiter moves through your South Node sign for this entire quarter. He’s big and bold, but his presence could also attract old things you’re meant to move beyond. If something seems too tempting or too good to be true, ask yourself, “Is this a test?” Pay attention to your first thought, and also discuss options with loved ones before making irrevocable decisions. It’s not all about you!

SCORPIO NORTH NODE: Anything in Aquarius squares/challenges your nodal axis, while anything moving through Pisces offers support. In other words, First Quarter 2023 is a mixed bag for Scorpio North Node natives. Overall, the energy says, “Go with the flow.” Dreams, love, mystical moments and a return to innocence. Your Taurus South Node wants to prepare for all “real world” contingencies, but your true preparedness occurs on the emotional level. Cultivate kindness to yourself, especially when dealing with feelings of shame, vulnerability and inadequacy. You don’t need to hold it all together. Change benefits your sign in major ways. You might go kicking and screaming to that change, but you don’t need to resist. If you wait for it in a calm, loving way, you’re more likely to “pull a phoenix” and rise from your own perceived ashes. Pay attention to your intuition, which guides you well. This could be a good time–as long as you make peace with change.

SAGITTARIUS NORTH NODE: Mars travels through almost all of Gemini during First Quarter 2023. Your South Node sign gets activated, and this could bring old relationships, opportunities and patterns back into your life. Some of these events could bring blessings, so don’t dismiss them outright. Do tap into your intuition and trust your gut. You have a strong sense of what does and doesn’t work for you. Pay attention and act accordingly. Aquarius Season treats you well with supportive sextiles as the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn move through that sign. You can dramatically improve your relationships during this time. Anything in Pisces squares your nodal axis, so pay attention to friction that arises from late January through Equinox. Challenges and irritation can lead to good things. If you run into closed doors, take a step back and search for other, more appropriate doors. Your Guardian Angels want to assist. “If not this, then something better” is extra true for you this quarter.

CAPRICORN NORTH NODE: This is an active and surprisingly intense quarter for Capricorn North Node natives. The January 6 Full Moon in Cancer encourages you to take the best of the old and refashion it into something more on path for you. Commit to living your full potential. Mars in Gemini quincunxes Capricorn throughout this quarter, and this aspect brings a nagging, creative, highly charged feeling. The quincunx aspect is fleeting, but if you feel it, pay attention! You’ll find opportunities to renegotiate tricky issues. This redo/review energy gets amplified by Mercury Retrograde in Capricorn until January 18. The Messenger remains in Capricorn until February 11, bringing extra insights about your life path. The big news for you is that on March 23, Pluto leaves your North Node sign for the first time since 2008. Pluto’s a heavyweight, and Cappy’s have felt his death and rebirth energy more than most. He’ll return to Capricorn in June, but this shift in March feels celebratory.

AQUARIUS NORTH NODE: It’s your quarter! The Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn move through Aquarius this quarter, activating your North Node in a variety of ways. Pay attention to events that feel uncanny and orchestrated. They probably are. Destiny level shifts are on offer, and you’d be wise to take them. On March 23, 2023, Pluto enters Aquarius for the first time since 1797. He’ll return to Capricorn in June and won’t re-enter Aquarius until January 2024. Except for retrogrades and previews, Pluto will remain in Aquarius until 2044. This initial breakthrough on March 23 could rock your world. Or not. It depends on the exact degree of your North Node, but the sudden shift of this heavyweight into Aquarius affects your sign more than most. Identify areas of life that feel expansive, liberating and revolutionary, and release whatever stands in the way of that. Pluto promises rebirth and renewal, too. Anything not on path for you goes bye-bye. Let it go. Alchemy awaits.

PISCES NORTH NODE: Hello, Dreamer, it’s your Season! From late January through Equinox, your North Node receives mystical inspiration, creativity and romance. Mars moving through Gemini squares your nodal axis, and this friction can slow things down. Don’t despair, action will happen. Think of two sticks rubbing together to create a fire. It’s slower than a lighter, but, yes, fire appears. Allow yourself to daydream and know that “delay leads to delight.” Practical solutions to problems arrive by dreams, synchronicity, and intuition. These will work better for you than logic. When faced with an either/or decision, go with the pie in the sky. You’ll still need to show up. Sometimes you need to fill out forms, take supplements, exercise and meditate, but do these in service of something larger and more mysterious. The Great Mystery surrounds and moves through you. That will lead you where you need to go. Saturn travels Pisces from March 7, 2023-February 2026. He’ll make sure you do your inner work and commit to growth.

Clairaudience, Clairvoyance, Clairsentience, and Claircognizance

Another blast from the past that wants to go up again. This one comes from 2019, but more and more people are experiencing this expanded consciousness. Here are some definitions and context for enhanced awareness:

This post began as “Precognitive Blues, Part 3: Astrology, Tarot, Synchronicity, and the Trickster.” My description of “The Clair’s” grew so long that it demanded its own post before Part 3 shows up. (I also discovered a Part 4, so that series will continue until I learn otherwise. You can find Part 1 here, and Part 2 here.)

By “The Clair’s,” I Mean:

Clairaudience: hearing sounds or words beyond “normal” frequency, usually with greater insights into the apparent reality. Telepathy and animal communication also fall under the heading of clairaudience.

In sessions, for me, clairaudience comes as a specific word, name or phrase, either right before the call, when I scan a client, or as the client speaks. Sometimes what they don’t say shouts much louder than their voice. Other times it comes to me as a kind of stage whisper or voiceover. When I bring up the word, name or phrase, it clicks in all sorts of insights for the person.

Clairaudience happens to me outside of sessions, too, but at least in a session I have permission to share intuitive hits! Not everyone welcomes that information, and conversations with liars or those in denial become especially boisterous inside my head. When someone lies to me, the true words echo louder and louder until I need to decide what to do with them. In the absence of “real world” evidence, it feels nasty to accuse someone of lying. For this reason, I do my best to avoid habitual liars or those in deep denial.

Fruitless confrontation or blaming myself for having “negative thoughts about someone” feels bad either way. Autoimmune reactions are very common in this scenario! I have many, many clairaudient Lyme clients turning against themselves their anger, frustration and negative thoughts about the narcissists or gaslighter’s in their lives.

It takes courage to allow yourself to live and hear from a place of truth rather than beating yourself up because you hear something so different from the spoken words. Of course, this creates other complications: if you suspect you have clairaudient awareness, then you need to make sure you examine your own Shadow and projections. An old post called “Rejection, Projection and Reflection,” can help with this.

My favorite method of clairaudience occurs most mornings in the hypnagogic state between sleep and waking. I hear song lyrics or a melody. When I search the full lyrics of those songs I find exact answers to my questions or concerns.

This can also happen with “radio roulette” where songs playing in stores or the car shock you awake because they seem to answer an internal question you just asked. The “random” play of Pandora, Alexa, or Spotify gives recently passed loved ones a way to send love or other messages to those they left behind. This is very, very common! Although not technically clairaudience (since the music plays in “normal reality”), the messages coming through the music bring a deeper resonance and awareness than ordinary listening. If this happens to you, you’ll sense it: goosebumps, an inner “Whoa!” or a delightful wonder help to flag clairaudient messages. If you keep hearing the same song over and over, you might also want to explore why.

Clairaudience does not always involve words. Sound is a frequency. Language speaks to us through vibration as much as the dictionary meaning of words. Sometimes words get in the way. Pay attention to any unusual sounds, positive or negative. Does something sound like a bell or an alarm? A knock? Cornish and Welsh miners in the Wild West relied on “the knockers” to guide them to veins of silver or gold, or to warn of danger.

In 2008 when my then husband and I moved to Petaluma, California, a persistent rattle followed me around. It moved through our dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fan, and finally to a loose piece of siding outside our apartment. Each time, the repairman fixed one rattle source, it moved to the next one. Da-da-da-da-ret, da-da-da-da-ret. Over and over, it was maddening! Tania Marie and I spent Halloween Weekend with our friend Karen at her family’s vacation home in Bodega Bay.

This story is told much more completely in my chapter of Stories from the Messengers, but the upshot is that as I was telling Karen and Tania about this mysterious rattle, I sensed Tania’s tortoise Gaia tapping her cage in time with the rattle. At first, no one else heard it, and then Gaia started tapping in the 3D world, not just internally tapping. Then I heard a loud rattle from the kitchen. I ran out to find the clock stopped at 11:11, even though that was not the time. Recognizing this as some kind of message about my then in progress novel, Schizandra and the Gates of Mu, I said, “Thanks for the insights, but I don’t speak rattle! Give it to me in a dream or in a book.”

After that weekend, I had a series of dreams and insights that brought my manuscript “down to earth.” That Monday, our maintenance man just happened to walk by as the piece of rogue siding rattled. He fixed this loudest and most insistent “da-da-da-da-ret,” and I never heard it again. In other words, if you receive a sound or clairaudient message you don’t understand, you can ask for a revised delivery method. You can say, “I don’t speak rattle. Give it to me some other way.” You can request a translation. Just don’t ignore the message.

Clairvoyance: seeing objects, events, people or visions not present in the “normal” range of vision.

Clairvoyance is also used as a catchall term for the various clair’s, indicating acute intuitive or psychic awareness. For me, clairvoyance most often appears in dreams or during past life readings. In both cases, I “see” the situation as a movie. Many times I later learn that dream “symbols” were actually remote views of future events, either for me or for someone else. Other times I “see” an image, glyph, or Tarot card that acts as shorthand for a lengthy message.

I have clients who “see” internet search terms. Some clients and I also see colors, auras, energies, or visions. Since childhood, I’ve seen “flashes” of people together who later become a couple. While I can focus my inner sight for medical intuitive readings, my flashes, visions, colors, auras and energies usually arise spontaneously. This seems common even with practicing psychics — you can focus the camera, but you don’t know what you’ll see until you see it.

Most people are visual learners, with vision as their primary sense. When I “see” for someone else, whatever I see tends to reflect that person’s symbol code. Not always, but often: the vision won’t make sense to me, so I describe it as well as I can. Sometimes I see a map with circled or flashing location. When I mention the location, it means something to the person — either they came from there, know someone there, or have considered moving there.

If I see a Tarot card or other meta-symbol in a dream, it often flashes or sparkles like a silly cartoon, in order to call more attention to itself. When doing actual Tarot or Astrology Readings outside of dreams, my eyes fixate on specific points. In the case of Tarot, repeating patterns in the cards jump out at me. In a natal or transit chart, my eyes dart right to what turns out to be the key element that provides the answer.

Sometimes this happens in “real life,” too. I’ll look at someone supposedly very sick, and see them glowing or radiating health, and I recognize the deeper healing in process. Other times, I see someone considered “beautiful” by society’s standards, but need to control my own revulsion due to the distortions and grotesque movements of energy. These people later get busted as major pedophiles, rapists or murderers. Society says, “I can’t believe it,” but clairvoyant people often see the energies or superimposed faces of their victims or crimes.

Just like “hearing voices in your head,” “seeing things that aren’t there” can make you feel a little nuts. If you have no context for these visions, the contrast between intuitive insights and accepted reality can drive you crazy. It helps in these cases to find at least one spiritually aware friend, confidant or professional intuitive/psychic who can hold space for you to explore your Second Sight. Having another person spontaneously validate your vision or offer clarity on it can make the difference between isolation and confidence, between gratitude for guidance and a trip to the loony bin. Trust your intuition on whom to tell, though. Telling the wrong person can undermine you, damage your self esteem or worse.

If you find yourself troubled by suspected clairvoyance, I recommend some easy prayers and mantras. Ask for signs, but also ask to recognize and receive those signs. Too many people ask for signs and then miss the pileup of synchronicities, dreams and over-the-top efforts to get their attention. If your answer involves something part of you would like to remain blurry, then you’ll probably miss some of the signs. Also, if you have extreme attachment to one answer or meaning, then you need to emphasize the “recognize and receive those signs” part. Otherwise, you can twist signs to mean whatever you want them to mean, then face a crisis of faith when things don’t pan out the way your “Guides” told you they would.

I’ve mentioned before how useful I find the Serenity Prayer: “God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference.” You can modify that to reflect your spiritual beliefs, addressing your own subconscious, Higher Self, the Universe or whoever you trust. The important part is asking for spiritual guidance in the form of non-attachment (Serenity), Courage and Wisdom. Some visions come to help you shift the future. Others come to prepare you for an upcoming challenge or opportunity. It pays to pay attention.

Literally, it pays to pay attention. If you find yourself strapped for cash, start looking for signs and symbols in your life. Abundance and free flowing energy is your natural state. If you feel a pinch right now, you’re either processing something in a “not yet” phase, or you’re blocking prosperity and opportunities trying to reach you. Looking at waking life as a dream, filled with symbols and each person also representing an aspect of yourself can free your flow again.

Clairsentience means clear sensation.

Less recognized than clairaudience or clairvoyance, clairsentience actually occurs more often. You feel things in your body, heart and soul. People who say, “You could cut the air with a knife” are clairsensing the energy residue of whatever happened in that location before they arrived. A fight, a murder, a tryst: when you get that funny feeling of something different than the apparent reality, your clairsentience has kicked in. Some people refer to this as “Spidey Senses.” Other people receive a jolt of information when they touch someone.

Empaths are extremely clairsentient. By definition, empaths feel and take on the energies, emotions, illnesses or moods of their environment. Although you can use empathic awareness as a gift, it doesn’t always feel like a gift! I highly recommend Dr. Judith Orloff’s The Empath’s Survival Guide. I’ve also written many articles for Empaths. Understanding how and when you pick up information through your feelings and body gives you needed clarity on what to do with that information. Otherwise, you become a psychic sponge, sopping up anything and everything around you.

As with clairaudience, I find most of my clients with autoimmune issues are extreme Empaths. Both of my guided journals help people discern “what’s mine and what’s not?” Lyme Journal: A Guided Recovery Workbook speaks more to people with autoimmune issues, Lyme Disease, co-infections and/or Chronic Fatigue. The Second Chakra Healing Journal supports people whose body presents challenges with fertility, hormonal balance, sexuality, bladder/UTI/kidney issues, prostate health and/or creative flow. I ask different questions in different ways, but both guided journals help you untangle the complex web of clairsentience disguised as symptoms.

As with the rattle example in the clairaudient section, you can ask for messages to arrive in other ways. Keep in mind that guidance tends to come in subtle ways first. Symptoms appear when you’ve ignored the whispers, shouts, nudges, signs, and symbols. The body steps in and says, “I’ll get her attention!” If you pay more attention to the subtle feelings and biofeedback mechanisms of your body, then symptoms can fade away. They can become like those inflatable lane guards for kids in bowling alleys. “Bumper bowling” can keep you on track if you honor your symptoms to bounce you back to striking range.

It also helps to pay attention to good feelings, especially if you prefer to live in an “ease and please” world rather than a trauma/drama tragedy or thriller. Love heals. If you find yourself comfortable, soft and secure, cultivate relationships with whoever or whatever triggers those feelings in you. Explore how you might strengthen those qualities in yourself, but do pay attention to unusual feelings. For example: if something would normally scare you but you feel strangely calm, that’s significant. If something would normally make you huff off in anger, but compassion floods your heart, this, too, tells you something.

As always, discernment remains key, but your body tells you many things. One caveat: a healing crisis or Herxheimer reaction, in which symptoms flare up when you address the root cause, does not mean you’re on the wrong track. It does mean slow down. Be gentler with yourself. Your body wants you to take your time with this; find out why.

Of the clair’s clairsentience often feels the least clear, because it intertwines so much with our own lived experience. Having a word or vision flash through your mind announces itself, whereas many people blame a stomachache on bad food combining or nerves. When in doubt, assume a symptom means something. If you auto-blame or judge yourself for anxiety or health issues, try giving yourself the benefit of the doubt. Read the Empath posts on this blog. Practice good energy hygiene. Ask, “Is this mine?” Then pay attention to the answer. If it’s not yours, let it go. If it is yours, ask for more clarity. Again, I designed the guided journals to assist with this, because clairsentience is often not so clair.

In case anyone wonders, I am an off the charts Empath. It allows me to do my work, to feel someone in Australia from my living room in Kalamazoo, Michigan, but I’ve spent my entire life learning how to manage this “gift.” I learned the information I share in the articles and journals from the School of Hard Knocks, and some of those knocks were reallllly hard! You don’t need to do things the hard way. 😉

Claircognizance refers to knowing the future or the hidden truth without any evidence or clues to lead you there. You just know what you know.

Claircognizance often occurs in combination with at least one of the other clair’s, but it doesn’t need to. For me, claircognizance arrives as an irrevocable, unshakable inner clarity about a situation, person or event. I don’t know how I know what I know. The visions, words or feelings come after the knowing. They support it, but they don’t trigger it. Sometimes I just know.

I find claircognizance occurs more often in people with strong Uranus, Aquarius, Mercury, Gemini, and Virgo placements in their natal chart. Neptune/Pisces can also bring claircognizance, but Neptune/Pisces has a reputation for illusions/delusions/Glamour/deception, so you need to be careful with Neptune/Pisces. If you’ve done your own Shadow Work and you don’t have a Neptune Square Venus transit, you can often glean major insights from Neptunian claircognizance. If everything seems dreamy and fantasy-like, then your message probably means something bigger and truer in the cosmic sense. The real life details blur with Neptune/Pisces.

The most claircognizant people I know happen to have very prominent Pholus placements in their natal charts. I’ve written on Pholus before as it relates to me, but I’ve since gathered more information as it relates to clients and friends. Pholus is a Centaur associated with “small thing, BIG EFFECT.” People with very strong Pholus placements, or who have exact aspects to Pholus either through transits or synastry with someone else, tend to extrapolate the BIG EFFECT from the small thing. We do this so rapidly that we cannot explain why or how the small thing exploded in our heads into the BIG EFFECT; we just know, and we can’t un-know.

Pholus and Uranus feel volatile. The kind of knowing that comes with them explodes into consciousness. Whereas Scorpio’s can be very psychic, they tend to know in a more emotional, clairsentient way. Mercury, or quicksilver in alchemy, also brings sudden mental changes. Virgos, ruled by Mercury, tend to have less precognizance than Gemini’s simply because the Virgo process moves slower. When the big picture clicks in for a Virgo, though, that effect can be sudden. Gemini’s tend to flit so fast among different streams of information and details that sometimes the answer slips past the filters: boom! The common thread with claircognizance as distinguished from the other clair’s is the sudden awareness that comes “out of nowhere.”

Living with the Clair’s

A 1998 traumatic brain injury removed my rational side for four years. Some people might argue it removed it forever, but I do operate with whole brain awareness. Most of Western society favors the left brain, rational, “show me” realm and ignores or mocks the Unseen or Unknown as fantasy or mental illness. Context makes a huge difference. If you surround yourself with doubters, then you will doubt yourself. If you imbibe in fear and paranoia, then any intuitive awareness you experience will carry that fear/paranoia vibe. At some point, you need to decide how you wish to live your life. What brings better results for you? How do you feel operating at the various levels?

Aim for authenticity, but also when you open to other levels of awareness, your own Shadow seeps out. Awakening the clair’s can feel scary, isolating and in some cases does trigger nervous breakdowns. I like Robert Moss’s advice in his dream books, “Ask, ‘What do I need to know? What do I need to do?” Then follow that advice. Keep a journal, but keep it private. You need a safe place to unload your thoughts, fears, hopes and dreams, free from other’s projections.

It also helps to talk with someone who walks this path. Pray for guidance on with whom to share your story and experiences. A shaman, priest, astrologer, intuitive coach, psychic, or Jungian psychoanalyst could all offer a variety of support. Lee Harris offers monthly YouTube videos , books and other resources. My blog contains so many articles on fringe topics. I also recommend Robert Moss’s book, The Three Only Things. If your clair’s came as a result of UFO, owl or ET encounters, you might find support in the Messengers series. If you’d like a private intuitive reading from me, please feel free to contact me.

Wherever you are in your life, then I wish you well on the spiral journey. The clair’s can enhance and improve that journey, especially when you learn more how to engage the gifts.

Pisces New Moon ~ February 19-20, 2023 (Video)

Happy New Moon in Pisces!

For those who prefer video to a longer blog post, this one covers some of the same (but also different) information in an alternate format. If you’re receiving this post by email, you’ll need to click through to the blog or channel to see the video. WordPress emails won’t embed videos.

My whole channel’s an experiment right now. If you want to catch all the videos, you might want to subscribe on YouTube, as I have not posted all the videos on my blog. I’m still exploring a balance of offerings and the time and effort it takes to create them. That said, this New Moon helps us to prepare for the future and commit to our highest spiritual path. Wishing you a good one!

Fear or Flowers: Love in the Time of Transmutation

I wrote this post almost nine years ago, but it’s just as relevant today:

Pick a headline, any headline: WW3, worldwide famine, corporations poisoning all waters, Civil War, global financial collapse, global warming, global Ice Age, “mutually assured destruction” … you name it, we’ve got it. The question is, what do we intend to do with it?

I recently posted at the end of a gardening article: I truly believe all the challenges facing our world today offer opportunities to return to our Divine connection, spiritual tools and natural abilities. Faery tales — great repositories of truth — describe so many situations in which people with pure hearts receive even the most impossible gifts. People say with scorn, “Oh, that’s just a fairy tale, a myth,” in order to dismiss something as ridiculous. I could not disagree more. Our weakness, disconnection and “need” to struggle are the biggest lies ever told. Faery tales, folklore, ballads, and myths — real ones, not Disney — give us clues and wisdom for a return to more magical lives.

If you want to fill your imagination and creative capacity with disastrous details, symbols and images, then plenty of websites, newspapers and media options will help you do just that. If you want to distract yourself while remaining unconsciously committed to the slaughterhouse path, plenty of “reality” TV shows, smart phone app’s, fashion catalogs and gossip rags will help you do just that.

But what if you want to transmute the negativity into something positive? What if you want to imagine something preferable and supercharge your imaginings into form? I wrote an email to a friend this morning with the title “globally curious.” That email included the following excerpt:

I keep seeing this since 2013, but much more so in the past month — service to self and defiantly ignorant or defiantly abusive people are being given a chance to recognize what they’re doing and to choose to correct the mistake in this moment, with no consequences so long as they truly shift. It’s like the universe is saying, “It’s decision time. Are you SURE you want to go down that path? Are you SURE, because this decision really matters.” As in, the decision creates matter.

It always reminds me of the Hopi Prophecy that every living being will be given a choice before the Red Star Kachina, the purifier, comes. Of all the prophecies, that one seems most to be playing out right now. Those who return to the old ways will find Gaia magically transformed through great chaos, but they will be untouched by the chaos themselves. I just feel this happening, and I see it with clients, stories about their relationships, observe online at [various] sites, and even my David has witnessed some absurdly obvious versions of this at work. El Mundo Malo or El Mundo Bueno.

Which do you choose?

Here in Goshen, while we face an uncharacteristically brutal winter, we’ve got unexpected flowers inside. You can see them reaching towards the outside world — offering glimpses of color and beauty in an otherwise white, grey and frozen land:

flowering geraniums

Inside the curtains, we see lush green foliage and just the hint of those red flowers shining possibility to a barren world. We know the flowers exist, so those outside our faery haven receive even more brilliant flashes to remind them of what’s possible. Does anyone from the nearby apartments ever open their blinds to see those flowers? I don’t know, but for now … in the bleakest winter … those flowers will remain in that window offering an alternative:

geraniums

I saw this video on Rumor Mill News the other night, and I loved the video, as well as the comments, included below. Fear or Flowers? Love in the Time of Transmutation. All is possible when we remember who we are and allow love to empower our creations:

“With all the talk of war now, this post is very appropriate. Let’s remember who we are folks, we are all one.

Strangers Are Just Friends Who Haven’t Met Yet

“Touching Strangers, it’s the monograph taken by photographer Richard Renaldi (renaldi.com) that is slated to be released by the Aperture Foundation in Spring of 2014. In creating this work of art, Richard roamed the streets of New York City in search of random strangers that he would publicly bring together for intimate photos. As odd as this may sound, some of the end results revealed in this news story may truly amaze you… ”

“Many of you may have been already familiar with this news story or the work of Richard Renaldi as the video has been circulating the internet for over half a year now. I wanted to quickly share it now to share what parts of it truly stood out for me.

“In this world, especially I find in North America, so many of us have become so accustomed to becoming lost in our own world. We walk the streets of busy downtown cores or suburban shopping malls and we choose to isolate ourselves to our electronic devices or even more prominently the perpetual rush – the walk where any form of eye contact with a stranger is unwanted and desperately avoided. What I loved the most about the work of Richard Renaldi was that with each set of strangers that he brought together he directly challenged what so many of us define as comfortable. Even though many verbal and body cues initially showed a level of discomfort and/or nervousness for many involved, this not only quickly faded but never seemed to impact the genuineness of the captured picture.

“For me, this reminded me of the incredible interconnectedness that we all share with one another on the planet. I truly believe that as different as we may be, we all carry within us the ability to connect and be comfortable with even the most intimidating of “strangers.” Be sure to check out and stay posted to Richard’s website for more information on Touching Strangers once it is released. In the meantime be sure to share the video, which the news reporter summed up perfectly when he said,

…He shows us humanity as it could be, as most of us wish it would be, and as it was at least for this one fleeting moment in time. [Source]”

Another reader submitted this comment, with subject line, “This is so cool!”

“Hi, everyone, this is where we are actually going. I’ve been living in a neighborhood for over 3 years and have only met three people in the neighborhood. My next door neighbor and I share lawn mowing and snow duties. My other next door neighbor is rarely seen and even though I have cleared snow from his walk, in three years he has never done mine.

“This is the America most of experience in these times. If the SHTF tomorrow, we will either turn to each other or run the risk of perishing alone in our homes when the guy next door has a hydroponic farm in his basement that would feed everyone on the block. Get my drift?

“We have to travel in this direction (of making new friends often) even while recognizing that we are living the way the cabal have designed for us. And that should make us angry. Angry enough to shake hands with a stranger?

“Best regards, everyone
CapnGriff”

I know this world looks bleak to the logical mind, but what about to the human heart? What about to the artist’s inner eye? What about the potential for love and beauty? I had a dream the other week, and at the very end of the dream, someone handed me a lotus blossoming from the mud. As I accepted this lotus into my own hands the alarm beeped, anchoring that vision in my imagination. When I opened my eyes, I saw a pink rectangle of light hovering above my crystals — with no external source of that light. It lasted only a moment, but again, that rosy rectangle has anchored itself in my imagination as a window into a rosier world.

As Jon Rappoport reminds us:

“Many wonderful things can be done with logic. Don’t leave home without it. Don’t analyze information without it.

“But art and imagination are of another universe(s). They can deploy logic, but they can also invent in any direction without limit, and they can embrace contradiction. They can build worlds in which space and time and energy are quite different.

“Magic is nothing more and nothing less than imagination superseding this universe. Magic occurs when imagination takes this reality for a ride.”

What do you want to know?

As I embark on my new YouTube channel, as well as continuing this blog, I have some questions for you:

What do you want to know?

What topics would you like me to cover in more depth or in shorter, bite-sized chunks?

Why do you read my blog or watch my videos?

I am genuinely curious. Thanks for taking the time to let me know.

New Moon in Pisces ~ February 19-20, 2023

This New Moon occurs at 1°22′ Pisces. My February 2023 Forecast shared:

February 20 New Moon in Pisces at 2:06 a.m. Eastern. Less than an hour later, Venus enters Aries. The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon is “(PISCES 2°): A SQUIRREL HIDING FROM HUNTERS. … The need for SELF-PROTECTION and caution is ever present.” We normally think of Pisces as a sign of blurred boundaries and expansion, but today’s energies focus more on self than others. Venus rules Libra, the opposite of Aries, so even the Love Goddess pulls more into herself than partnering with anyone else. You can think of this New Moon as a form of “Put on your own oxygen mask first.” The negative side of Pisces invokes the martyr archetype, which goes beyond unconditional compassion into the realm of self-destructive sacrifice. In order to support people outside ourselves, we must first manage our own energy and resources.

January 21st’s New Moon in Aquarius previewed Pluto entering Aquarius on March 23, 2023, and this February 20th New Moon previews Saturn’s move into Pisces on March 7, 2023. The first half of this year brings major shifts in collective energies. The first two New Moon’s show how these changes could unfold longer term. If you don’t like what happens on or around February 20th, use that information to assess what you need to do between now and March. Given the Sabian Symbol, how’s your food supply? Do you need to squirrel away some extra nourishment?

Saturn‘s a planner and the Lord of Karma. How his 2023-2026 years in Pisces will affect you depends on your natal chart, but collectively, we can expect adjustments in the realm of spirituality and the need for spiritual practices. We could see a no-nonsense approach to lying and fraud, with punishment meted out for prior deception. The differences between pie in the sky promises vs. boots on the ground reality will become too obvious to ignore. We might also feel limitations in how much we can sacrifice ourselves for others. We’ll need to balance our compassion with practical concerns.

This New Moon is a good time to begin a yoga practice and/or start a dream journal. Saturn brings commitment. Anything previewed at this New Moon, then taking effect after March 7, likely has staying power. Saturn in Pisces can also help us to bring our dreams into reality. I created a video talking more about Saturn in Pisces, and you can find that here.

One other thing to keep in mind with Saturn in Pisces is potential water restrictions. We’re already seeing this possibility develop in the US as we approach the New Moon in Pisces. The train derailment and toxic explosion in Ohio could affect a lot of waterways. Saturn brings restrictions, so we’ll have to see how things unfold in the coming month and years. Fortunately, snowfall seems to be way up in the Sierras, easing drought conditions, but this poisoned water moving from Ohio could result in other restrictions.

We could also see structural issues (Saturn) with feet (Pisces). Treat those tootsies well!

At the time of this New Moon, Mars returns close to his position at the December 7-8th, 2022 Full Moon in Gemini. We can look back to that time period for more clues about our current need for preparation. In December, Mars, the planet of action, was Retrograde. So much information came forth between December 7th and January 6th. Even if we thought we knew what to “do” at that time, energies delayed actions. Now, Mars Direct passes that same spot. With the information now available, what actions do you feel called to take? How might these actions protect and empower you to live a fuller life?

This New Moon conjuncts asteroid Panacea at 3+ Pisces. Panacea brings healing through salves and balms. In mythology, she’s one of the five daughters of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine. She’s sometimes called the “goddess of the cure” or “goddess of the universal remedy.” In a time of sudden deaths, mass disabilities, and general heartache, her presence bodes well. If you’ve been struggling, this New Moon offers an extra potent reset related to health.

On the negative side, Panacea in Pisces could also bring false hope, so do practice discernment. If mainstream anyone presents the one and only, all encompassing “cure,” do your own research rather than trusting without question. The New Moon advises us to tend to our own healing, reminding us that when we heal ourselves, we become stronger and more resilient for others.

The TNO Haumea trines from 0+ Scorpio. Haumea’s presence reminds us that birth pangs bring forth life. We do not labor in vain.

The centaur Elatus also trines the New Moon from 1+ Scorpio. According Zane Stein, “On Amable’s blog, Transneptunian Astrology, there is this interesting observation about Elatus: ‘Elatus has an incredible ability to escape from the most difficult situations, like Morfeo-Neo in the movie “The Matrix” (1999). But is more habitual that he flees before things get worse.'” Read the tea leaves, folks! If something feels off, trust your gut and dodge the bullet. We can learn to dance with these energies, but doing so requires presence. This is not a time to zone out.

I can’t overemphasize the significant astro shifts that start popping off next month. Use this New Moon and the coming weeks to address any lingering health concerns and shore up your inner and outer resources. Even good, longed for change brings stress. We cannot escape the approaching r/evolution, but preparing helps us to thrive instead of getting blindsided or swept away by Piscean floods. Lean into the spiritual, especially when the physical seems scary or uncertain. Saturn’s presence in Pisces shatters illusions but makes blind faith more tangible and real.

Happy New Moon in Pisces! Let’s paint ourselves a lovely world.

Personal and Collective Transits: What’s the difference and why would you want to know?

Here’s my latest YouTube video answering a question I hear a lot:

Synchronicity and Inner Guidance

This wants to go up again.

Laura Bruno's Blog

This post comes from a 2012 blog post that synchronously arose today after a dream about a huge sign, the need for a screen upon which to project a “movie” and a magical, un-containable rabbit. I decided to write it up as a separate post rather than reblogging because the end of the original post references things specific to that time period. The post itself seems just as relevant today as it did nearly 10 years ago:

Regular readers of my blog know that I’m a huge fan of synchronicity and “reading” signs. With a Masters Degree in English, I’ve simply expanded my definition of “text” to include this entire living, breathing Universe. I thought I’d share some perspectives on synchronicity and how it pertains to inner guidance, seeking and finding, and divination (specifically tarot).

“Synchronistic meetings are like mirrors that reflect something of ourselves. If we want to grow…
