Astrobutterfly ~ Astrology of December 2019 – the Grand Finale

At the bottom of this post, I’m linking to a fabulous preview of December 2019’s astro energies, written up by Astrobutterfly. On the collective level, we’re in for some big shifts. On a personal level, December 2019 culminates many of the astro transits I’ve used as examples in recent blog posts.

My North Node sits at 8° Capricorn, so the December 3, 2019 Venus Conjunct South Node transit occurs right on my North Node (future/soul’s trajectory), while the collective feels a South Node (past) impact.

The upcoming Full Moon also might be the most potent Full Moon activation of my chart that I’ve experienced — at least in recent memory.

From Astrobutterfly:

“December 12th, 2019 – Full Moon In Gemini

What a Full Moon! Venus is completely sandwiched between Saturn and Pluto (Saturn is at 19° Capricorn, Venus at 20° Capricorn, and Pluto at 21° Capricorn.) And the Full Moon (at 19° Gemini) is quincunx all of that.

AND, if that was not enough, on the same day, Chiron changes direction. The primal identity wound (Chiron direct at 1° Aries) can no longer be ignored. This time, we have to get to the heart of the matter (Venus conjunct Saturn and Pluto). No matter how.

Because the quincunx will ask you to find a creative solution. Pay special attention to this Full Moon, because it will reveal what the monumental Saturn-Pluto conjunction in January 2020 is really about.”

In my intro to Ann Kreilkamp’s recent post on the January 2020 Saturn/Pluto Conjunction, I mentioned how my natal 21° Gemini Saturn is getting majorly activated by a quincunx aspect with transiting Pluto. Well, it turns out this powerful Gemini Full Moon will hit within 2 degrees of my natal Saturn, which will get a quadruple whammy from transiting Venus, Saturn, Pluto quincunxing it, with the Full Moon conjuncting it. Mega-hit. No wonder this spot has felt so “up” for me in recent weeks. Yet another example of sensing the impending energies before putting names to them.

Also on December 12, 2019, Chiron stations direct at 1° Aries, which happens to be my Sun/Moon Midpoint, currently activating an exact kite formation with my natal exact Grand Trine among Sun-Moon-Pluto. I wrote of this kite in Precognitive Blues, Part 3: Astrology, Card Divination and Animal Spirits. In that same post, I also mentioned how much more powerful I find the precognitive activation/dreams when a longer transit planet/centaur changes direction or changes signs. I hadn’t thought to look at the degree Chiron will station direct, but of course it would just happen to occur on this literally essential (as in “Essence of Me”) point in my natal chart.

I also just noticed that the Solar Eclipse at 4° Capricorn on December 26 forms a Grand Trine in Earth with transiting Uranus at 2-3° Taurus (also conjunct my Part of Fortune) and my 3° Virgo Ascendant. Jupiter (expansive, lucky) will be at 5° Capricorn and Pholus (small thing, BIG EFFECT) will be just a bit past 2° Capricorn on December 26, both within orb of the Solar Eclipse. I think of Jupiter-Pholus conjunctions as the Big Bang, so on the collective level, we’ll have Jupiter-Pholus-Sun-Moon interacting with Uranus. Mega Big Bang. Then, personally, that forms a Grand Trine with key spots of my natal chart.

In other words, if you’ve sensed that things seem particularly “up” for me right now, these are some major astrological reasons why. December 2019’s transits affect my chart in an extremely personal way, but these and other transits are powerful enough to affect everyone in some way just by virtue of being alive at this time.

As Astrobutterfly says:

When I write the monthly reports, I usually put the most important transit in the title, for example, ‘Uranus enters Taurus’ or ‘Venus goes retrograde’ but I just couldn’t pick just one asto event for the month of December, because there are simply too many things going on.

Thank You!

Just a quick post to express heartfelt thanks to all my blog readers. I feel so blessed for the conversations that occur here, for all the support and friendships I’ve made in 11 years of blogging. Thank you for your presence in this world. I’ve not met most of you in person, but I feel you on the journey, lighting up our world one step at a time.

Happy Thanksgiving with Much Love and Many Blessings,

Laura

Precognitive Blues, Part 3: Astrology, Card Divination, and Spirit Animals

If you’ve not read the first two parts, you can click through to Precognitive Blues, Part 1: Dreams, Warnings and Blessings and Precognitive Blues, Part 2: Guilt, Law of Attraction, and Meanings that Change Over Time. You don’t need to read these posts in order, but this one references the earlier posts, so I’ll link for context. At this point, I feel this will be the second last post in the series, but even with strong intuition and foresight, who really knows?! And when?

The most annoying and pressing question around suspected precognition is: how do I know what’s true?

Dreams can be symbolic, literal and/or both. So can signs and synchronicities. Even in retrospect, we cannot know the full meaning of any vision, dream, relationship or event, because life continues to radiate around and through us, backwards and forwards, breathing in and out until we die. After death, some kind of “life” continues — at least according to the various “dead” loved ones who appear in dreams or sessions and give credible warnings and advice. The Ancient Celts took life after death and reincarnation so seriously that you could legally carry a debt (even a financial one) into the afterlife. In a never-ending story, how can we establish the “ultimate” truth and meaning with any certainty?

That said, people who sometimes (or often) experience prophetic dreams and/or the clair’s, cannot just ignore their messages, because those messages tend to get more, not less insistent. Ignorance=ignore-ance. There are two types: the kind where you don’t know any better, or the kind where you pretend you don’t see what you see. Denial: where you try to convince yourself that you don’t know what you do know in your gut, your third eye and/or your heart of hearts. Willful ignorance precedes a rude awakening. How much more so with willful ignore-ance! See Precongitive Blues, Part 1 for details.

Ask Astrid Fridays ~ The Rabbit’s Corner: The Tower of Liberation

This one feels important to reblog. I’ve posted on the Tower card many times, but Tania and Astrid give some extra insights here that I’m sure will hit home for some people right now. Between Tower cards, foundation shifts and restructuring the deepest levels of the collective and individual, many feel challenged at this time. As Tania and Astrid share, the Tower also offers reason for excitement.

“Trauma and disruption can be turned into inspiration and creation.” Yes!

Tania and I were texting yesterday about her sense of not needing to know exactly which road to take — that it will become clear when she needs to know. I shared a dream from two weeks ago in which roads began to appear all around me, circling like spaghetti strands. In the dream, I tried to see down each road to find “the right one,” but they looped so much I couldn’t see that far. A voiceover said, “It doesn’t matter which road you take. All these roads lead to the same place. All these roads will take you home.”

Same message, hers in life, mine in dream. In both cases, the message brings comfort and encouragement as towers and foundations shift.

Tania Marie

I was drawn to take this photo of Astrid two evenings ago and it lingered with me. Of course, when asking her if she had anything for her blog today or not, she directed my attention to this photo and I instantly understood. She’s so wise!

I always refer to this as her Castle Tower and it’s literally one of her favorite go-to places. She either lays to the left of it, comforted by the tower as protective shelter, lays under it, or inside the top floor of it enjoying the sun shining upon her and sometimes checking out the lay of the land as a lookout point.

I hadn’t thought of its connection to The Tower card in the Tarot deck and increasing collective experiences of change until this morning, nor had I realized so much symbolism in how she uses this Tower, as well as the set-up for…

Clairaudience, Clairvoyance, Clairsentience, and Claircognizance

This post began as “Precognitive Blues, Part 3: Astrology, Tarot, Synchronicity, and the Trickster.” My description of “The Clair’s” grew so long that it demanded its own post before Part 3 shows up. (I also discovered a Part 4, so that series will continue until I learn otherwise. You can find Part 1 here, and Part 2 here.)

By “The Clair’s,” I Mean:

Clairaudience: hearing sounds or words beyond “normal” frequency, usually with greater insights into the apparent reality. Telepathy and animal communication also fall under the heading of clairaudience.

In sessions, for me, clairaudience comes as a specific word, name or phrase, either right before the call, when I scan a client, or as the client speaks. Sometimes what they don’t say shouts much louder than their voice. Other times it comes to me as a kind of stage whisper or voiceover. When I bring up the word, name or phrase, it clicks in all sorts of insights for the person.

Clairaudience happens to me outside of sessions, too, but at least in a session I have permission to share intuitive hits! Not everyone welcomes that information, and conversations with liars or those in denial become especially boisterous inside my head. When someone lies to me, the true words echo louder and louder until I need to decide what to do with them. In the absence of “real world” evidence, it feels nasty to accuse someone of lying. For this reason, I do my best to avoid habitual liars or those in deep denial.

Fruitless confrontation or blaming myself for having “negative thoughts about someone” feels bad either way. Autoimmune reactions are very common in this scenario! I have many, many clairaudient Lyme clients turning against themselves their anger, frustration and negative thoughts about the narcissists or gaslighter’s in their lives.

It takes courage to allow yourself to live and hear from a place of truth rather than beating yourself up because you hear something so different from the spoken words. Of course, this creates other complications: if you suspect you have clairaudient awareness, then you need to make sure you examine your own Shadow and projections. An old post called “Rejection, Projection and Reflection,” can help with this.

My favorite method of clairaudience occurs most mornings in the hypnagogic state between sleep and waking. I hear song lyrics or a melody. When I search the full lyrics of those songs I find exact answers to my questions or concerns.

This can also happen with “radio roulette” where songs playing in stores or the car shock you awake because they seem to answer an internal question you just asked. The “random” play of Pandora, Alexa, or Spotify gives recently passed loved ones a way to send love or other messages to those they left behind. This is very, very common! Although not technically clairaudience (since the music plays in “normal reality”), the messages coming through the music bring a deeper resonance and awareness than ordinary listening. If this happens to you, you’ll sense it: goosebumps, an inner “Whoa!” or a delightful wonder help to flag clairaudient messages. If you keep hearing the same song over and over, you might also want to explore why. Continue reading

Elicia Miller reviews my newly released Second Chakra Healing Journal

My friend and colleague Elicia Miller just sent a wonderful review of my newly released Second Chakra Healing Journal. Elicia and I have shared clients for almost a decade. My Medical Intuitive awareness dovetails well with her ability to support people through healing core wounds. She offers the deepest, most effective Inner Child and emotional healing work I’ve encountered, and I consider her a valuable resource for my clients. On Elicia’s website you can find a free gift that explains the emotional root cause and top blocks to healing. You can order Second Chakra Healing Journal on Amazon. Many thanks to Elicia for this review:

Laura’s Second Chakra Healing Journal is perfect for assessing and exploring the emotional cause of your symptoms. It taps into your inner knowing for you to hone into your specific emotional blocks and patterns that need to be addressed. I help my clients heal the emotional cause of their symptoms (specializing in Candida, digestive and autoimmune issues), focusing on inner child and emotional healing, and reparent themselves to take care of their emotional needs and true desires.
This journal is a wonderful companion to my work since it covers most of the emotional issues I see with all of my clients. This journal will help reveal what you need to work on in therapy and with yourself. I suggest this journal for anyone who knows their physical symptoms are emotional, and who is struggling with emotional eating, addictions and codependency. Laura’s journal is good for beginners and for those who have been doing emotional healing who need more clarity with what to focus on now. – Elicia Miller, Founder of Core Emotional Healing

Ann Kreilkamp ~ From death throes to birth pains: Saturn/Pluto detonates cardinal structures

Some additional context from me (Laura) first:

I’ve been sensing chthonic, subconscious, magical, eruptive, primal, regenerative Pluto rooting around and doing something with my natal Saturn. I’ve also long felt that this January 2020 conjunction between Saturn and Pluto at 22-23 Capricorn would somehow be a “direct hit” on my chart. Until yesterday, the aspect eluded me, though. No “major” aspects get triggered, since my Saturn’s in Gemini, while Pluto’s in Capricorn.

Pluto (and Saturn) have been transiting my 5th house of pleasure/creativity/children/private relationships, and I’ve been getting loads of dream downloads and synchronicities about how my 5th house impacts my 10th house (career/public life), which includes my natal Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn, in that order. The recent messages have been grinding and relentless (Pluto) — but also with a sense of fun/creativity (5th house) and everything getting upgraded (Saturn) and properly placed in proper timing (Saturn). With Saturn as Father Time and Pluto as Lord of the Underworld, precise synchronicities linked to my subconscious are really outdoing themselves!

As so often happens when an aspect I sense energetically goes exact, I discovered that transiting Pluto at 21 degrees 04′ Capricorn is currently inconjunct aka quincunx my 21 degrees 04′ Gemini Saturn. The Saturn/Pluto conjunction will occur within 1-2 degrees of my natal Saturn. In other words, my energetic sense was accurate. I just didn’t think to look at inconjunctions. Some astrologers consider this a major aspect, while most consider it minor. I would call it major for me at this time. It’s also an aspect concerned with integration. The signs involved have nothing in common but need to learn to work together — quite a metaphor for our political world right now! Continue reading

Precognitive Blues, Part 2: Guilt, Law of Attraction, and Meanings that Change Over Time

“Man needs reckless courage to descend into the abyss of himself.” ~ William Butler Yeats

This is Part 2, in what feels like a three part series. If you’ve not read “Precognitive Blues, Part 1: Dreams, Warnings and Blessings,” you can do so here. Today’s post deals with some of the other biggies that complicate precognition. According to “The Mystica“:

  • Precognition is the direct knowledge or perception of the future, obtained through extrasensory means. Precognition is the most frequently reported of all extrasensory perception experiences, occurring most often (60 percent to 70 percent) in dreams seeing the future.
  • It may also occur spontaneously in waking visions, auditory hallucinations, flashing thoughts entering the mind, and the sense of “knowing.” Precognitive knowledge also may be induced through trancechanneling, mediumship, and divination.

Because I’ve lived with “future memories,” psychic dreams, Cosmic Heads Up, and premonitions for my entire life, I’m no stranger to the challenges of precognition. I also coach and do readings for many highly intuitive clients, so these topics arise in sessions, too. This blog series attempts to provide a map or guideposts for what often feels like strange new territory.

Dealing with Precognitive Guilt

Tied with Precognitive Anxiety, aka pre-TSD, Precognitive Guilt weighs in as one of the biggest emotional challenges of seeing, sensing or dreaming future events. This guilt comes in a variety of forms. I’ll share some personal examples to illustrate. Continue reading

Prophetic Dreams

Someone asked when I will get to posting “Precognitive Dreams, Part 2.” It’s coming, but I don’t control the timing on these things. As a placeholder, here’s a November 2010 post about dreams I wrote up in the year 2000, back when I still couldn’t read after my 1998 TBI.

I recorded reams of dreams that I could not reread until years later. It’s one way I learned without a doubt that I do have precognitive dreams. Reading them much later brought so many confirmations of things my dreams told me would happen, that later did, even when I had forgotten the dreams. Again, I encourage people to keep a dream journal. In my life, dreams have provided infinite healing on so many levels, humor, higher perspective, warnings, guidance and so much love. The scenery and soundtracks are stunning. I’ve struggled with insomnia my entire life, and I used to say, “I only sleep to dream.” I’ve slept much better in 2018 and 2019, but the dreams come more vivid and more often. I’m glad to know incredibly light sleep is not a prerequisite for dream recall.

Anyway, a double flashback to almost 20 years ago…

Laura Bruno's Blog

In another round of plagiarizing my earlier self, I decided to share some dreams I recorded in 2000. I have to admit, I have freakin’ awesome dreams. 🙂 I download door ideas, find places to live, receive information to help clients and friends, and sometimes just feel overwhelmed by the beautiful images, colors and music. Yes, music. I often awake to chants or songs that continue to play through my brain as it fully embraces each new day.

During the year 2000, I lived in Evanston, Illinois, on the north side of Chicago, also right by Lake Michigan: essentially, the inverse of Hyde Park, with Northwestern instead of University of Chicago as the “college” in that neighborhood. Still completely disabled from my 1998 brain injury, I spent most days lying on the couch and meditating, going to visual therapy, listening to books/lectures on tape and eating out with…

I wasn’t going to run another “Three For Two” coaching package special this year, but I’ve had so many requests, I will respond to the trend. The other special this month also responds to requests from people facing unexpected shifts in job or living situation, who would like a coaching session at reduced cost.

As always, I feel my way into the monthly specials, hence posting these a day late. Until this morning, they were still rolling around and forming themselves.
