Free viewing of this inspiring film through November 22, 2014. Thanks, Lance and Linda!

Lance,
This video is truly inspiring. It got me outa my
chair, into a whirlwind of canning, dehydrating,
juicing and just enough time for a good long
walk. the video led me to “The health Bridge” and
the 100-day gong talked about by Dr. Pedram
Shojai. I woke up tired today, feeling
overwhelmed. Now I have a plan. Thank you so much.
Linda

  2. I watched this yesterday. I have hypothyroidism, so constantly come across research like this. Sadly, I am supposed to avoid soy, raw kale/broccoli, and every other food it seems like. I am currently struggling with fitting my life into the mix.

I will ask my eldest sister, for example, if I should invest in a fluorine filter (which my other sister would hate to have on the counter, so I am putting it off until I no longer live with my sister). The eldest, being a weekly New York Times reader, will tell me about how important fluorine is for the teeth. If I talk to her about GMO’s, she will say they are perfectly safe, and necessary.

They always say that the eldest sibling is the smartest. I am the youngest of seven, and I have had mental illness attacking my intelligence for years. I have always felt my eldest sister is smart, but she seems to believe the exact opposite as Lightworkers.

I don’t know what to believe. I have a choice to make in that case.

I want the easy life of frozen vegetables backed by youtube science videos that say frozen vegetables are actually better for you then fresh… unless that vegetable is extremely fresh. I can just pop them in the microwave, and believe I am healthy because I am eating my daily vegetables. Science says I don’t have to pay extra for organic because conventional is actually not only just as healthy, but less likely to make me sick.

What I never understand if why it is perfectly healthy to eat an apple, but once you juice that same apple, it is potentially dangerous to the elderly, and children. Its the same juice inside whether you juice it or not. I am sure that science has an answer to this question…

@ peacenowflower, well, it’s certainly tough and you have to constantly make choices and decisions about what to do, and what you can live with, and what you can afford. If you have hypothyroid, then yes I have read convincing data that it’s best to avoid *raw* cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower and cabbage) but rather to ferment them or cook them, because in their raw state, they suppress the thyroid. Cooking or fermenting neutralizes the chemical in them that does that damage. I avoid soy in any form because of the estrogen-mimicking chemicals in it unless it’s properly fermented, and of course there’s the GMO variety I would want to avoid. And so on and on and on. It’s maddening. You have to read read read and delve deep to find what works for you.

As for microwaves, I refuse to use them and haven’t for over 10 years. In Russia, microwaves were banned several generations ago, when Soviet scientists discovered what microwaves do to food. So if you can get away from that thing and cook with radiant heat or flame, then that’s a great step to take. IMO anyway.

Laura may have something to say about the juicing, but this is another thing that one must research with the knowledge that science is ever-evolving and we just don’t know everything. You ought to question my comments, too, because I don’t know everything either! 🙂

Personally, I feel anyone who says that “the science is settled” (on anything) has an agenda to push. Good luck!

    • Thanks for providing these additional insights, Kieron, since I didn’t have time to address things in any amount of detail. I agree about the effects of microwaving foods, as well as the tips about fermentation. Of course, it’s all much more work, but in the long run, you receive real food with actual life force left in it.

For the juicing, there’s some argument about sugar separated from the fiber, and very mixed assessments of whether or not juicing concentrates or eradicates pesticides and other contaminants. I’ve heard both — that these things concentrate in the peels, or that juicing amplifies effects that the fiber would buffer. Some things, like parsley, are actually medicinal and not meant to be concentrated into a straight juice. Lots to know. I prefer a mixture of organic raw and organic cooked vegetarian foods. Unless you grow it yourself and test your soil regularly, you don’t know what’s in it, but if you know your local farmers and trust them, there’s a lot more info and assurance available than from a grocery store. I am personally more concerned about the radiation in CA, where most of the foods are grown, although with the drought and geo-engineering, we are probably getting it dumped on us in the Midwest. …

Bless your food and thank the land and growers. That does wonders to correct all manner of things beyond our control. 🙂

  4. As for fluoride, if you want to research this industrial waste chemical, you can look up Prozac and fluoride. Look up “fluorosis,” investigate fluoride’s connections to c@ncer, read Cure Tooth Decay, by Ramiel Nagel, and look into fluoride’s calcification of the pineal gland. It becomes clear it’s not a safe additive, but a poison that conveniently dumbs down the population and makes them more docile, as well as better candidates for the BigPharmafia’s schemes and scams.

As Kieron said, though, lots of choices. It depends on your priorities and situation. I agree that science is a pretty bogus authority, especially when funded by the corporations or institutions trying to get us to follow a certain agenda. There are very few, if any, non-compromised science and medical journals today — and the registered dieticians (with their SAD friendly recommendations) are one of the strongest lobbies around the country. Couple that with Rockefeller controlled medical schools and media, including print media, and is it any wonder natural, organic information seems so fringe?
