Totally! ❤ I've been researching mycellium, and aside from all the mundane reasons to grow mushrooms — medicine, gourmet food, vitamins D and B's, soil nourishment and purification, etc. — the mycology expert Paul Stamets believes there's reason to suspect the spore trails left from mushrooms are actually like the bread crumbs from Hansel and Gretel and other fairy tales. He finds a direct connection between the fairy realm and mushrooms — not surprising then that fly agaric mushrooms have always been associated with faeries, too. ❤
very cool! well they seem to be bread crumbs for this faery to follow. lol…i’ll dive into the mushroom realm any day. especially the ones in these photos…riding on the back of snail….weeeeeeeeeeee! ❤ still look forward to seeing your garden sometime and/or going on a faery adventure soon
Yes, indeed! I look forward to that, too, whichever comes first! You’re welcome to as many SLUGS as you want from THIS garden, too. LOL! They’re very happy here, but I have so much growing, I don’t really care about it. 🙂
I think it goes without question that mushrooms are sacred and vital for faeries. I don’t know a thing about proof, I know what I know. That is a wonderful idea to grow mushrooms for this very reason, among others. Thank you, Laura. I’m definitely putting this on my bucket list for where I “settle.”

All this reminds me what we know is as nothing compared to what we don’t know about our amazing planet.
