Still Blooming!

It was minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit here last week, but on this afternoon’s walk through the yard, I noticed these little beauties still blooming strong:

Faery magic is alive and well in this yard! What’s really weird is that the hot pink hat, flower pin and scarf I felt oddly inspired to wear today match the primrose. Someone’s having a Midwinter giggle, scattering beauty across the frozen ground.

    Someone totally is. Here, we had snow flurries on Dec 25 that turned to rain when the temps went up a degree or two, and there were flocks of robins hopping around on the ground, in the trees, pecking in the grass and chasing each other like it was late March, in one of those snow-squalls we get at that time of year. They have since disappeared. Everything in my life–and I mean everything –has been surreal for the past moon-month so I was able to just accept it as another example of the weirdness of late…
