For those who have eyes to see, see. Thank you for sharing, Laura. For some reason this brings to mind the movie “The Bridges of Madison County” with Merryl Streep. 🙂

    • Yes! For those with eyes to see … and it does take discipline to seek and find beauty amidst all the ugliness thrown our way. Glad you enjoyed the bridge! 🙂

  2. I was drawn to the Hawthorn tree and did not know why so of course, after being with it for a minute or so, began a search and the first site I clicked on was called ” The Tree Goddess” and the page she has there was filled with Hawthorn lore.

” If hawthorn has been brought to your awareness today, you may need to look into matters of the heart. Like the hawthorn tree in flower, love is sometimes delightfully joyful. Long and steady relationships bear fruit that sustain us through life’s cold and difficult passages. But beware the thorns hidden among the fruits and flowers. It has been said that a true lover’s heart is always half broken, and that we tend to hurt those we love best ” ( Gwendolyn, The Tree Goddess ~ Thank you )

Thank you Laura for sharing your Walk in the Woods with us ❤
