Almost immediately after I took my little walk in the woods during which time I actually did ask plead for Otherworldly assistance to “eradicate GMO’s from the face of our beautiful planet,” the Grocery Manufacturer’s Association (GMA) got caught red-handed running a money laundering slush fund to conceal their identities in opposing I-522 (the Washington State campaign for mandatory GMO labels). [UPDATE: I forgot to add that part of my request specifically included “the unveiling of anyone secretly working for a hidden pro-GMO agenda.”] I’m not saying my time in the woods had anything to do with this, but it wouldn’t be the first time I petitioned and honored the Unseen’s only to find an immediately tangible, “real world” result. In fact, it happens so often that David always says to me, “We need the eggs, dear,” in reference to the following joke:

“My brother thinks he’s a chicken.”

“What?! Why don’t you do something about it?”

“We need the eggs.”

(NaturalNews) As Natural News reported yesterday, the Grocery Manufacturers Association got caught red-handed violating Washington state fair election laws by running a money laundering slush fund designed to conceal the identities of food companies giving money to block I-522.

The CEO of the GMA, Pamela Bailey, reportedly told donors in an email that their identities would be hidden from the public, thereby shielding them from any public backlash even while their money would be used to try to buy the election and defeat GMO labeling (so that consumers would be left in the dark about what they’re buying).

In response to this, the Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson accused the GMA of violating state law, and the AG’s office asked a Superior Court to issue restraining order to force the GMA to comply with state election laws.

Just one day after this scandal surfaced, the GMA apparently decided to stop violating the law and disclose the list of companies that funneled money into its secret slush fund. That list is published below. You can also find the list at HeraldNet.com.

It goes without saying that all these companies are now subject to a lifetime boycott. The GMA itself has now destroyed its own credibility by engaging in mafia-style illegal activities that discredit itself as well as all its members. We have now entered an era where food companies will knowingly violate the law in their desperate attempt to block GMO labeling and hide genetically engineered ingredients in their toxic, disease-causing foods.

Blue Moon August 31st: The Master Maker

In keeping with my morning tradition, I pulled a Wisdom of Avalon Oracle card today: The Merlin. This card emphasizes magick and support in forging dreams into reality. On a Blue Moon (the second full moon of the month) approaching the third third of 2012, a little extra magick seems like a wonderful thing, indeed.

But that’s not all. Apparently, the Faery Realm wanted to share some comments, too, in this case via Brian Froud and Jessica MacBeth’s The Faeries’ Oracle deck. I’ve learned not to argue with the fay, since they are most persistent creatures! Here’s what they had to say about the August 31st Blue Moon:

My take? The elementals continue to offer their partnership with humans willing to support the Earth and heal Nature. (I was at 444 words just as I planned to type how Faeries are Earth angels. According to Doreen Virtue “444 — Thousands of angels surround you at this moment, loving and supporting you. You have a very strong and clear connection with the angelic realm, and are an Earth angel yourself. You have nothing to fear — all is well.” Love the synchronicity, but back to messages from the Faery Realm!) They want to help us heal the Earth, which will have side benefits of healing humans and faeries.

We can return to a world of beauty, organic and wild foods, harmonious living with all creatures and the environment, and a deep connection to the Source of all abundance. Full Moons amplify intentions. On this special Blue Moon, take a few moments to remember who you are — a being intimately connected with everyone and everything in the Universe. Empower the dream of a healed planet and healed lives, and then commit to doing your best to support that manifestation into our realm. We have the support of other realms in our endeavors. INTRODUCTION TO THE FAERY REALM WORKSHOP

I’ve been “told” to host this class at our own home, affectionately known by all visitors and occupants as “The Faery Cottage.” Class size will be limited, and I’ve already had three signups. The faeries and other elementals themselves asked me to teach this class at this time in order to help humans reconnect with other beings who love the Earth. As always, this class will be tailored to the day’s participants, but we will cover the basics of inviting faeries into your home and garden, ways to increase your receptivity and creativity, basic faery manifestation advice, dimensional shifts and portals, and a general overview of the faery rules of engagement. This promises to be a fast paced and exciting class. The faeries want to work more closely with humans interested in healing our Earth. They tell me this class is perfectly timed for all the changes happening in late August.
