How to Thrive in a Less Than Ideal Location

Today’s topic arises so many times in coaching sessions that I thought I’d address it here, since it seems more common than not for people to feel misplaced, isolated or otherwise “stuck” in a location other than their heart’s desire. Having lived in 43 homes throughout my life — including many of the most beautiful, stunning spots in the US — and currently living well in a way less than ideal area, I can share both personal and professional tips for creating your best life wherever you are. This is not a “settle for less” post, but rather a list of ways to ensure you receive the most benefit, growth and satisfaction from any given location until you either realize you do love where you live, or you manage to leverage yourself into something much more compatible and preferred.

Create a Sacred Space

The first, easiest and most important step you need to do is to reclaim your environment by creating a sacred space. Sacred means “made or declared holy” and includes the idea of “set apart.” Even if you live in a hovel with Messy McMess, find a corner, mantle, bathroom, nightstand, chair, closet, or room that you can clean, clear, decorate and dedicate to you. Size doesn’t matter. Even a corner of a bookshelf, consciously cleaned and intentionally claimed begins the sympathetic magic process of exerting more of your own energy over an incompatible location.

Once you choose a spot, you’ll attract opportunities to charm and enhance other areas. Instead of feeling oppressed by your environment, your field of influence grows and transmutes your surroundings. “As Within, So Without” very often begins with one tiny external shift.


Above, you can see an Element Altar, hidden in plain view, right in the center of our home. This little spot has featured different objects over the years, but I created it from Day One in order to honor the Elements — Earth, Air, Fire, and Water — in our home, celebrating and respecting Nature front and center in a region of the country that defiantly does not.

Garden Photos, Vibration Shifts, and the Value of Retreat

I’m not sure what the weather’s like where you are, but here in Northern Indiana, we’re experiencing a drought this summer. I can’t even remember the last time it rained, so most of this year’s garden time has been watering rather than some of my more ambitious projects. With all the new fruit and nut trees and first year perennials in the blue house’s yard, I’ve spent much of my garden time making sure everything gets a good solid start, but in recent days, even some of far more established Faery Hof yard’s toughest plants have required extra TLC.

Despite this additional responsibility, I’m so grateful to spend meditative time among the flowers, trees, birds and bees, since earlier years involved hauling over 25,000 pounds of wood mulch, dispersing truckloads of compost, and weedwhacking between lawn mowing. This year’s drought means anything unintentional and ignored in poor soil has grown incredibly slowly, which means garden time allows for much more creation and nurturing rather than destruction. While going all Shiva has its merits, I’ve found the peaceful, running water, selected abundance, and intentional growth mirror my own quiet, yet rich retreat state.

I’ll share some photos below, along with links to retreat ideas for those without their own, live-in garden paradise. I hope you enjoy the beauty and healing. I’d also love to know if anyone can identify these prolific volunteers.

Mystery plants

At first, I thought they were jewelweed, come to counteract my lovely poison ivy ground cover that I keep meaning to eradicate but haven’t succeeded in fully removing due to proximity of other plants. You can see the mystery plants here on the north side of our house near coleus in a barrel, a zephirine rose, forsythia, rhododendron, “coral bells” heuchera, ferns and the poison ivy. Anyone know what they are?

Aside from these carefree gems, I’m loving these Thai Purple Podded Yard Long Beans. They had a slow start, but once established grow 7-8 inches of each bean per day! You can see them here with volunteer sunflowers in front of them. Thank you, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds!

Last night we had a totally homegrown produce stirfry, including the Thai yard long’s, kalette (which appears to be exactly the same plant as my previously grown tree collards), poblano peppers, parsnip, green beans, Thai and Italian basil, and kohlrabi. We did use some non-homegrown organic, wheat free tamari, ginger, apple cider vinegar, birch sweetener, and a pinch of garlic powder for seasoning. Still, our tongues and tummies sang with homegrown goodness! You can also see our second crock of pickles, started yesterday after removing and cutting up the first batch.

Indeed, it’s cucumber and white scallop squash season! That probiotic rich sauerkraut (shown here with the Perfect Pickler setup for Mason jars) also came directly from the garden, and I’m enjoying the results of double-grown cabbages. If you cut them just right, you can often get two crops out of the same root. All but one of the earlier cabbages are growing strong again. Between all the probiotics and the daily green juices and green smoothies, it feels like spa time as our bodies soak up nutrients and sunshine.

No spa stay would feel complete without fresh flowers. These double hollyhocks needed a trim, and so our downstairs bathroom got a sweet infusion:

David’s mom gets fresh flowers pretty much every week, unless we leave town. Yesterday’s featured cosmos, bachelor’s buttons, pincushion flower, zinnias, echinacea, and Maximilian sunflowers (a less invasive edible cousin of Jerusalem artichokes):

Some people have asked about the blue house (aka Haus Am See) yard, since I don’t show as many photos of that newly planted zone. It’s still getting established, but you can see some fun developments below:

The asparagus half circle has begun to grow in. Next year, that curved, mulched area on either side of the herb spiral will form a 4-6 foot ferny hedge surrounding a round picnic table/gathering area. To the right, you can see one of the nine hazelnut trees spread across both properties. The far right edge shows another of the tree watering rings I’ve needed to bring out again this year. Along the back fence you can just make out more asparagus, some first year hollyhocks, and two of the three paw paw trees. To the upper left, you can see the brand new roof (finally!) on the neighbors’ garage that inspired so much of my earlier vertical gardening.

That thing had been caved in since a tornado in 2009, just sitting there like an immobile, decaying eyesore, despite years of city citations, landlord complaints, offers to provide free labor for the repair and more. It simply would not budge, but somehow, all those Reiki Healing Attunements and magic seem to be taking root, because not only has that garage been repaired, but neighbors also got a new roof and windows for their house. The apartments on the other side have vastly upgraded their tenants, and for some reason, even though Goshen has a rental shortage, at least two of the eight units remain vacant.

Further down that street, another rental sits vacant next to a house for sale. The residents of those units never used to mow their lawns and were often loud and bizarre (in a disturbing, not intriguing way). Now, the yards are neatly mowed, and the houses await residents who fit the rising vibration in the growing radius of Faery Hof and Haus Am See. I find this all so interesting, as I’ve pulled my energy into very focused, hyper local retreat just to what I can see or hear around me — unless we leave town. While our area is mysteriously upgrading, I’ve heard that other spots in town have a big meth issue, and many downtown stores are now vacant.

We don’t intend to stay here long term since we’re winding down our required presence here for David’s parents’ transition to the next phase of their lives. I just find our experiences here so illustrative of how you can raise your own vibration and intensify your own focus and energy and have that ripple around you in healing ways.

A friend and I caught up at the Moringa Tree in Elkhart, and she said she almost missed out house picking me up. At first, I thought, “How could you almost miss this place?? It’s so far afield from the rest of its surroundings. It stands out.” On the way home, though, after driving though dry, blight ridden areas, we almost missed it, too. That demonstrated the reality of a suspicion I’ve also long had that when places or people become so vibrationally different than their surroundings, they disappear.

When we first moved to Goshen, I decided to start eating more cooked food to make my vibration dense enough for locals to see me. At first, I thought everyone was incredibly rude, because they would just ignore me, even while talking with David. Then I began to notice that if he turned to speak with me, people would jump back, startled as though I just appeared out of nowhere. Again and again, people said, “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there.” Food is one of the easiest ways to moderate the density of your vibration, so adding a little cooked vegan food brought me into more normal range for at least some of the locals. In recent months, I’ve gone back to very, very high raw, lots of green juices, and only super fresh cooked food, and people just look through me again.

Those with strong faery, artistic, or Druid leanings still see the yard and apparently do see me on the rare occasions I venture out in Goshen; however, curious things keep happening with shapeshifting and size. Throughout the day, my own body morphs size and shape — not bloating, totally different body types and sometimes fitting in clothes or styles, other times not at all. Our friend Tim said something similar about our yards — that they “look way bigger than they are,” but what’s funny is that sometimes they look way smaller than they are, as when a car zips by so fast you’d blink and miss the entire block. I’ve been playing with a lot of timeline shifts, magic, sigils, and spending most of my time in Nature, magical studies or phone sessions, so I expected some time bending. Apparently, space is bending, too. With all the rabbits here, it’s a little like Wonderland.

In any case, the Haus Am See yard, continues to fill in and grow. I harvested garlic earlier this year and replaced these troughs with more white scallop squash, lettuce, cosmos, zinnias, red cabbage and sweet potatoes, which will eventually trail and bloom like morning glories. Behind the troughs you can see new annuals, perennials, a gooseberry and the bottom of a witch hazel — all of which will eventually mature into another faery flower patch and woodland:

I find Nature so healing and full of wisdom! Just wandering the yards each day and observing how plants interact with one another, as well as listening to the birds and watching all the critters, bees and beneficial wasps, butterflies and sensing faeries and gnomes fills me with an expansive sense of magic, which continues indoors with all the plants and elements inside. Although we do not intend to stay here long term, I feel called to foster an ecosystem that later tenants can easily maintain and enjoy.

This year’s respite from heavier labor feels just right after life’s intense detour this spring, helping my father in his final weeks, followed by moving my mom from their house of 30 years into a thriving and beautiful set up in her new home and community. After all the hard work, it feels good and right to water and harvest for awhile before finishing my permaculture final project and beginning new writing ventures.

Whatever and however you decide to retreat, do take some time for yourself! Resting, nurturing, slowing down and recharging make us all so much more resilient, and when the time comes for action, we will have much more to give — and from a much stronger, deeper place. Practical and Spiritual Preparedness for Chaotic Times

Continuing with the past few days’ questions of how to deal with “The French 9/11” and all the attacks right now from seemingly every angle of life, I’ve collated a few other articles, videos, and inspiration to help people find a balance between “pie in the sky” “magical thinking” and paralyzing fear or utter despair. Some of these pieces include more practical information about preparedness, situational awareness and following your intuition. Others include reminders and techniques to keep your vibration warm, loving, ready, and empowered.

I’m not recommending any single one or all of these pieces, but offering them as starting points for your own consideration. Having the courage to assess your own situation and to make your own decisions holds far more value than having anyone tell you what you “need” to do. That said, having the very basics of preparations on hand just makes good sense! If the events of Paris happen near you, wouldn’t you prefer to remain in the comfort of your own home while the situation sorts itself and returns to some level of sanity? It is far easier to maintain an empowered, attractive vibration when you and your loved ones feel safe and secure in your own little cocoon of peace. Peace in, peace out. To support this:

1) Do your best to acquire at least two weeks’ worth of food and water. If traveling, at least bring some extra food in your carry on bag, in case you get stuck in the airport or on the road. Bring extra water if possible. If you have a sunny windowsill at home, consider growing some of your own fresh herbs, lettuce, arugula and/or spinach and carrots. It’s fun to have life around you, and fresh food invigorates!

2) Have backups of any medications you or a loved one relies upon for survival. (Ideally, do your best to get off these types of meds or replace them with something you can grow or easily acquire, but for the most basic level of preparedness, at least have an extra month on hand of any required meds or supplements.) You might also want to have miso paste on hand to help counteract a nuclear situation (and provide immune boosting, extra delicious soups and flavoring!). Having natural immune boosters on hand makes sense, too. What do you normally use to keep the sniffles at bay? Extra vitamin C? Garlic? Elderberry? Just set aside a little extra for chaos-raining day.

3) If you live somewhere cold, have some sort of alternative heat source available in case of a power outage, whether kerosene heaters, alcohol heaters, convertible rocket mass heaters, a fire place, wood stove, solar heater, clay pots with tea lights under them, or another nearby location that has such things. If you cannot acquire any of these things, then at least have a sleeping bag, tent, and/or extra warm blankets and long underwear on hand. Basements will stay warmer than upstairs, due to the insulation provided by the ground.

4) Remember your pets! Have backup food and meds for them, too. You’ll want your loved companions there for comfort, not a source of stress as you watch them struggle.

5) Have some board games, physical books, and inspirational poetry on hand. You’ll want positive distractions from the news, or a replacement for all things i-related if communications get shut down or the power goes off.

6) Make sure you have candles and/or solar lights available for comfort.

7) Cultivate local community wherever you are. Eventually, you’ll want and/or need to go back out into the world, and knowing you have a strong community of mutual encouragement and support is priceless, whether a disaster or terrorist attack happens in your area or somewhere else that still affects your area. Strong communities build resilience and joy. As the Hopi say, “This could be a good time.”

Penney Peirce ~ Frequency: The Power Of Personal Vibration

My friend Gillian of Shift Frequency just published this book review. I’ve not read the book myself, but I’ve never heard Gillian gush this much about a book before. She loved it, and she’s one smart, compassionate, and spiritually aware cookie, so I’m making a rare exception to endorse a book I have not read. Yet. 😉

I agree with John L. Petersen. Penney Peirce’s Frequency is “an unprecedented gift to the person who is ready to evolve.”

Peirce says she wrote Frequency “to help you melt through the last barriers to awakening fully, and actually feeling the experience of your expanded self that will be your normal state in the Intuition Age.” [i] Frequency is about the one authentic resonant field within each, the One that exists in the heart. She presents this One through layered, structured prose.

Peirce writes that many “ . . . are close to understanding that we’ve never left home – the ‘heaven’ experience.” Rather “we’ve been having the most amazing captivating dream, called ‘life on earth.’”[ii]

The Evolutionary Process is Real

The book’s framework is evolutionary. It describes the process whereby life propels itself toward ever fuller Self expression. Peirce writes “You are being affected by an evolutionary process that moves through specific stages which is causing the energetic frequency of your body, emotions, and mind to accelerate.” In fact, “the rising frequency of your energy parallels your level of awareness.” You are “gradually becoming more aware, sensitive, visionary, empathic, and loving.”[iii]

The intuitive faculty must be engaged. “Intuition is direct, unbiased perception that comes from unifying the fragmented parts of your awareness – body, emotions, mind, and spirit – and it arises when you’re focused in the present moment, alert but not tense . . . feeling simple and open.”[iv]

Emotion ignites resonant frequency. “You can know many things by ‘feeling into’ life. This is a simple process of relaxing “into a soft, less defined personal identity” and expanding to include “more space and time” while “raising the frequency of . . . body, emotions, and mind to a higher level.”[v]

It’s A Toolkit Within A Book

This isn’t “just” a book. It’s a creation tool, one that works best if you allow yourself to truly hear, feel, image(in) the perceptual codes revealed throughout.

Frequency describes a layered process that facilitates and accelerates awareness of the authentic “Self.” You discover how to calibrate and adjust to soul frequency. Calibration results in perceptual movement to a level of heightened awareness of soul presence. It’s finding who you really, truly are. Getting you there is the central focus of this work.

Create New Reality Through Expanded Dimensional Awareness

“You might think of the fourth dimension as the realm of the soul, of spirit – an experience rather than a place, in which everything exists simultaneously in a unified field of energy and awareness, where everything contains everything else, all is known, and ‘love’ is the primary substance out of which everything is made.”[vi]

“In the new reality soul will be the supreme force, consciousness of the interpenetration of the visible and invisible realms will be the most valuable thing, and anything will be possible.” [4-5] This is because we start to see life as “energy and awareness.”

Peirce states you “are evolving through nine phases of growth that are designed to effectively raise your vibration.” The entire process is considerably eased if you “work consciously with honing your sensitivity and choosing your soul’s vibration.” If you do that you’ll seem to “float through the transformation process like a leaf carried downstream by a river that knows where it’s going.”

The 9 Stages In The Transformation Process

Spirit merges with body, emotions, and mind
The frequency of life increases in every way, everywhere
The personal-collective subconscious mind empties
You retrench, refortify, resist, and re-suppress (until)
Old structures break down and dissolve
You stop, let go, and relax into your truest self
You re-emerge into the world like the phoenix
Relationship, family and group experience are revolutionized
Enlightenment is grounded in every bit of matter

Chapters include “Try This!” segments that describe explorations in frequency embodiment. For example, you’re invited to “Try this! Flow compassion and love through yourself.”

In this instance you perceive yourself as a “ giver and receiver of love” in various circumstances over a few days. Peirce suggests you “look around and be a neutral witness to the basic love energy that shapes you and the world around you. See and feel it everywhere. Be accepting, forgiving and unconditional in your loving kindness for a few minutes. Breathe love in through all your cells and let it pass through you, touching every part and lighting you up, then send the love on its way, giving it generously to others. In difficult circumstances ask “where is the love right now?””[vii]

It’s All Choice (Driven By Willpower)

“Willpower is not about resisting, forcing, or controlling – it’s about choosing. And there are just two basic choices: to feel expansive, loving, and connected to the high vibrations of your soul – to literally be your soul – or to feel contracted, afraid, and immersed in the low vibrations of suffering – to not be your soul.”[viii]

Fortunately, you can choose home frequency and have the will power to stay there once you find it. “When and how to drop into your home frequency. . . . It’s one of the best kept secrets in life that when you think you’re falling into the void, you’re really returning to yourself – that what you think is going to be empty is actually full.”[ix]

Abraham-Hicks: The Emotional Guidance Scale

I have referenced tools given by Abraham-Hicks many times, but as we enter a phase where vibration especially matters, I wanted to share their Emotional Guidance Scale. So many clients ask me how they can possibly get to Passion and Joy when they just feel generally filled with Doubt, Anger, Depression or Boredom. One of the brilliant messages of Abraham is to follow a step-by-step process up the emotional ladder. No, most people really can’t move immediately from Despair to Joy/Appreciation/Empowered/Freedom/Love in a single leap … but if they keep reaching for the next best feeling up the ladder, they will eventually climb out of that Despair, out of that Anger, moving further into Hopefulness, Optimism and all the way up.

This process reminds me of Kundalini Yoga instructor Gurumukh’s comment in one of her yoga DVD’s: “Wherever you are, start there. Because if you don’t start somewhere, then you’ll be nowhere. So we must start wherever we are.”

If you find yourself struggling or concerned that you’re not radiating bliss 24/7 prior to 12/21/12, please don’t worry about it. Just do the best you can in each moment. Awakening remains a completely personal process. You can inspire others or allow yourself to be inspired, drag people down, or allow yourself to be dragged down, but ultimately, the moment-by-moment choices happen inside of you. Each of you. You can’t “do” it for anyone else, but you absolutely can do it for yourself. A little extra consciousness of how you feel during and after your interactions with people, situations and ideas will help you to assess if you’re moving in the direction you’d like to go.

We live in a world with very few positive examples of wise, compassionate and just use of Power. With all the abuses by parents, advertisers, corporations, banks, governments, priests and others in whom we’ve unwisely invested our own power, we can easily accept the message that all power is bad power. “The Love of Money is the root of all Evil, so just give it all to us…. All power corrupts and Absolute Power corrupts Absolutely, so just let us handle that. We wouldn’t want you to corrupt yourselves. Some banks are too big to fail, and some institutions are simply too important to prosecute.” 😉

According to the Emotional Guidance Scale, though, “Empowered” ranks right up top with Joy, Appreciation, Freedom and Love. This is our natural, unmanipulated state — most closely connected to the Divine expressing itself through us. If you want to know how to spend this end of an age, I suggest spending it climbing up the emotional ladder. If that means joining and celebrating with friends, do that. If it means recognizing that you are not a victim but instead a learning creature, do that. If it means committing to the next step of your hopes and dreams, do that. If it means embracing your own creativity, do that. If it means radiating love and bliss 24/7, by all means, have at it!

Ask and It Is Given: Learning to Manifest Your Desires” by Abraham, Jerry and Esther Hicks offers many practical exercises and explanations. One tool that really helps people to “start wherever you are” is the Emotional Guidance Scale.

As we enter a phase of super-amplified energies, taking little steps in the direction of your choice means amplifying your intentions loud and clear. “Ask and it is given.” Intend and receive. Your momentum will increase, and you can reach further than you may have ever imagined possible. Forget the sky. There are no limits unless you choose to accept them.

I will leave you with the Adi Mantra chanted before a kundalini yoga session: “Ong Namo, Guru Dev Namo” ~ meaning, “I call upon Divine Wisdom.” “I bow to that infinite creative wisdom that resides within my true Self.” You can do it, because you are it!

Your Right to Preferences

This theme keeps coming up in coaching and intuitive sessions, so I thought I’d mention it here. If I hear it so often in private sessions, then lots of others are likely experiencing it, too!

In a nutshell, you don’t need to feel guilty for having preferences. We live in a vibrational and co-creative Universe, which continues to birth and rebirth itself according to desires. Yes, desires, preferences, hopes, dreams … without them, the Universe would stagnate. Preferences are not only a Divine Right, but also kind of a Source Mandate. Source, God, the Universe, whatever you want to call it, expands in response to your desires. Each time you hone a desire or discover a new preference, you tweak the manifestation instructions you present to All That Is.

Sure, people, governments, religious authorities, and schools sometimes tell you your preferences are bad, evil, unwarranted, or crazy, but that doesn’t change the fact you have them. I don’t mean to give license to harm other people — oftentimes the repressive preference squashers are the ones secretly harming others! Those who manipulate via guilt, shame, ridicule and diminishing do not have your best interest at heart, so why allow them to make decisions for you? Why allow them to create your life instead of you?

If someone laughs at your preferences or tells you that you’re wrong or selfish for having them, take a moment to explore why that person even cares. What investment does that person have in whether or not something brings you joy, frustration, or sorrow? Does that person really know you better than you know yourself? And if so, why would you allow that to continue happening?! You’re a fabulous, intriguing, amazing, deep, diverse, and interesting person; I guarantee it. If you don’t see that, then it might be time for some proactive cord cutting, followed by a quiet, healing meditation and/or journaling. Get to know yourself! Get to know what makes you tick. In order to Follow Your Bliss, it helps to make note of what feels like Bliss to you.

As we shift from 3D to whatever and wherever we’re shifting, vibration becomes even more important. If you allow yourself to whither in someone else’s limitations, then you rob not only yourself, but the collective reality as well. Why not co-create something you truly love? Why not expand yourself in joy and jubilation? Your growth grows the Universe. Your ability to maintain a positive, exciting and Spirit filled life frees others to do so, too.

Preferences can range anywhere from types of food you like, to qualities of relationship, degree of sexual compatibility, financial ease, the kinds of clients you wish to attract, boundaries in business, weather … no limitations here! You can’t talk yourself out of preferences. Repressed preferences will rear their heads at the most inopportune times, so you might as well acknowledge and honor them upfront. Knowing what you want will also help you avoid the following common and unfortunate relationship dynamic:

Someone really, really wants something from you. In this example, let’s say they want you. They want you to commit to them, and in exchange they offer you something that’s important to them but not necessarily important to you. From their perspective, they’re giving you the world, and you darned well better appreciate it. You, on the other hand, just don’t really feel that attracted to them, or, for whatever reason, you just don’t feel the same way about the proposed exchange. Because they have given you their “stuff” and lord that fact over you, you begin to feel like you should feel different about them than you do. You might try to convince yourself that your preferences are superficial, stupid, or unenlightened. You might try to convince yourself that attraction and compatibility don’t really matter as much as unconditional love.

Just to clarify: you can unconditionally love someone and not desire to marry them. You can unconditionally love someone and choose not to spend much time with them. You can unconditionally love someone, wish them well, and yet still honor yourself by listening to your own sense of what feels balanced. Just because someone gives you something they value, doesn’t require you to place the same value upon that something. You have a right to your own, unique preferences, and if a relationship fails to match up, you can choose to walk away, or redefine the nature of that relationship. If the other person starts calling you names, guilt tripping you, or otherwise stomping on your sincere efforts to attract win win situations for all involved, then you’ve just received a clear indication that you are not receiving unconditional love, no matter if you’re giving that or not. Guilt works as a primary manipulative tool.

This dynamic can occur in romantic relationships, business trades, expectations between clients/customers and providers, higher education, and any other encounters you have with someone who may not share all your preferences. Clear communication helps, but in fairness, that needs to go both ways. If someone expresses what they want, and you know that you are either unwilling or unable to meet those preferences, then sharing that information allows you to maintain integrity in the relationship with the other person and within yourself. As we shift further away from duality, split intentions will become increasingly difficult to bear. Recognizing early signs of incompatibility and taking proactive steps to redefine relationships or to extricate yourself from imbalanced situations will speed your ability to shift into a newer, cleaner, easier reality. The more people who take responsibility for the world they wish to co-create, the freer world we’ll find.

If you choose to Follow Your Bliss, then Bliss will choose to follow you. From that higher vibration, you will create and attract an extraordinarily inspiring life. You will become the change you wish to see in the world. And I promise you, you will find kindred spirits who celebrate with you and for you. Lonely is feeling obligated to love someone or serve someone in ways your heart and Spirit won’t allow. Nothing feels lonelier than telling your authentic Self to settle now and wait for next lifetime. You’re not here to reiterate the status quo. In case you haven’t noticed, default reality on Earth hasn’t been a resounding success. That’s why all the structures and illusions have begun to fall away. The New Earth won’t build itself without your input. You vote with your vibration, and the higher your vibe, the better your world. Want freedom? Free yourself, and watch what happens.

Your Body, Money and Ascension

All sorts of theories exist regarding the physical world and what kind of transition we’re really going through right now. 4D. 4 and a half D. 5D. Reality splitting in half. Reality layered like an onion. Revelations. (Yep, we’ve been getting some of those, and more due soon.) Debt slavery. “The Love of Money is the root of all evil.” “The only thing certain is Death and Taxes.” Law of Attraction. Law of Allowing. Citizens United. Occupy Wall Street. It’s enough to make your head spin, huh?

I don’t claim to know all those answers. I don’t think anyone can, because we are still co-creating the answers as we go along. That’s called Life, and why not make the best of it? Why not spend some time exploring and deciding what feels best to you? Because we won’t all choose the same thing. Even among Lightworkers, ideas of Paradise on Earth vary widely. We can share our hopes and dreams with others, share our theories, but we can’t make anyone else accept those as their Truth. We can simply observe what works the best for us, what produces our own results, what feels best when we imagine it, and what helps us to feel integrated in ourselves and with our planet.

We live in times of immense, diverse and intense change. “Death and Taxes?” Um, yeah, they probably won’t seem so certain after all, as people continue to enhance their abilities to see beyond the veil, and the Fed continues to be exposed for what it really is. 😉 If you can catch a glimmer of inspiration for your best version of a New World, then I encourage you to latch onto it, flow with it … embrace and celebrate it as you observe what you encounter along the way.

If you’ve struggled with Money and body image, please know that you have infinite choices in those areas, too. For Lightworkers hoping to move beyond duality, turning the physical world into a black or white issue increases rather than diminishes that duality. “Whatever we resist, persists,” so if you particularly hope to move beyond Money and all the things associated with having a body, then resisting those things only intensifies the energy surrounding them. That energy feeds more dissatisfaction. I would suggest, especially for people interested in a radically different physical realm experience (or even no physicality at all) to make peace with your body, body image and the idea of Money. Until you do, the emotions surrounding those hot spots will continue to shoot out cords that anchor you to the status quo.

Change will happen, but it will happen more slowly in the presence of anger, frustration and judgment. On the flip side, positive change can happen super fast with an attitude of gratitude. If you plan to leave 3Dality behind, then consider: this might be your last run through these here parts in this here “vehicle.” What do you love about your time on Earth? What do you love about the 3D experience? What makes it unique? How have your challenges freed you of illusions? How might you move beyond one of the biggest illusions — limitation? Hint: limitation is closely related to judgment: “For the measure you give will be the measure you get.” Something limitless cannot be measured. The only way to measure Self or potential comes from an acceptance of limitations. If you want to move into 5D — or wherever — then you will find the journey faster and easier if you allow yourself some “ease and please.”

Finding ways to love it all, even — especially — those super sticky barnacle parts, allows for a cleaner, less painful extraction from Ye Olde 3D World.

You can show peace and love in many ways, but your method matters less than how you actually feel. You body loves you and it won’t lie to you, so listen to it. Honor it with high quality food, nurturing sounds and colors, plenty of rest, and the chance to connect with the Earth. You don’t need to make this transition alone; Earth’s moving right along with you. You can journey together, and you don’t need to starve or struggle just because you intend to Ascend. Like attracts like. If you want to live in a freer, more joyful, abundant world, then start living it now. Maybe you can’t change everything overnight, but you can start shifting your own vibration immediately. In a 5D world, vibration matters more, not less. Manifestation happens more instantly in higher dimensions, and it happens on the basis of dominant vibration. If you’d love to manifest a better world, then start believing in that better world by proving to yourself — moment by moment — that you can find and generate elements of that better world.

For some people, a first step may include resonating with more free flowing finances, not because you support patriarchy and corruption — but because you need to shift your attitude in order to leave those things behind. You can look at your own life to see how well you’ve manifested your desires. If you feel happy in all areas, then congratulations! Perhaps you’ve already Ascended! If you feel satisfied in most areas, but certain parts of physicality prick you like pokey thorns, then 3Dality has delivered a message to you: something remains imbalanced in those areas. Somewhere in the continuum of Spirit, emotions, and/or thoughts, a glitch has occurred. It’s just information, not something to attack or judge. Information becomes opportunity in the presence of non-resistance.

I offer no right or wrong answer for the world you’d most love to manifest. On the contrary, I love that we live in a world large enough to accommodate our differences. I just wanted to share some thoughts for your consideration, as well as a call to look honestly at your results. If you like the results, keep going! If you don’t like how your results make you feel, then it may be time to reevaluate some methods, attitudes and preferences. Don’t be afraid to move step by step towards your larger hopes and dreams! What seems counterintuitive in the short term sometimes provides exactly what you seek long term. Again, trust your body. Trust those emotions.

And have some fun with it! We live on a playground. You can run around free, climb poles, swing on swings … or you can play freeze tag and sit around frozen until someone (hopefully, maybe, gosh, when’s it gonna happen?) unfreezes you or starts another game. Personally, I prefer to play! 😉 How ’bout you?

Autism and the Law of Attraction

I work with quite a few parents of children diagnosed with Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome. Just wanted to share this video from Abraham-Hicks, which shares many of the things that come forth in Medical Intuitive Sessions with me. These are special kids! Even if you’ve not experienced someone with either of these conditions, this is a valuable talk that shares tips on how to convey things like the Law of Attraction to “superiors” or others who “just don’t get it.” Namaste.
