Update on the Return of Wounded Knee Relics

Today’s post comes as follow up to earlier posts regarding the return of human remains and sacred relics from the Wounded Knee massacre. Thank you to everyone who continues to pray and send energy to the success of this important shift. On November 1, I received the following message from Mia Feroleto:

The return of relics begins tomorrow–November 5, 2022– in Barre, MA and will culminate in a ceremony at Wounded Knee in late December. As mentioned before, astrologer Ray Grasse and I each came to independent conclusions about the connection between the Wounded Knee massacre and the First US Pluto Return. My awareness came via intuitive download, but Ray goes into much more astrological detail. He includes the following notes beneath the video:

Follow Up on the Wounded Knee Massacre Items at the Barre Museum

I promised a follow-up to my short announcement after the press conference on Monday, October 10. Here are my observations and take away’s from that 2:00 p.m. Eastern time event.

For those unfamiliar with the background, please see this June 2022 post. One reason I feel led to share this story and ask for continued support is because astrologer Ray Grasse and I independently both honed in on the return of artifacts and human remains from the Wounded Knee Massacre as deeply tied to the US Pluto Return. I didn’t mention that in my first post because I know people sometimes skip over my astrology posts. I wanted as many eyes on this as possible. But the reason I wanted to raise awareness is because I sense that however this situation plays out will play a huge role in how brutal or regenerative the US Pluto Return will be from 2022-2024.

On September 29, 2022, the Membership Board of the Barre Museum Association voted unanimously to return artifacts and human remains from the massacre on December 29, 1890. This historic decision followed long term requests, the April 2022 Native American Repatriation Act, and recent negotiations spear headed by Mia Feroleto, Chief Henry Red Cloud and the Lakota Sioux. Other key people included Chief Leonard Little Finger, who began discussions over ten years ago, as well as Mike Hecrow, a direct descendant of the son of Chief Bigfoot. Hecrow helped determine which items rightfully belonged to the Lakota.

Kevin Killer, the Oglala Sioux Tribal President, also spoke about media responsibility to tell the truth. He noted ongoing problems since the 1890’s when media demonized Natives and fostered the attitudes that led to massacre and the stealing of sacred items and human remains. He called for true reporting throughout this process. Wendell Yellow Bull — a descendant of Joseph Corn Cloud and a resident of Pine Ridge Reservation — said that preparations and ceremonies must take place. Souls denied burial must be laid to rest, and sacred items need to be cleansed and properly distributed.

Depending on how you count items (i.e. is a pair of shoes one or two items?), there are somewhere between 151 and 263 items to be returned. Besides these items, the Barre Museum holds items from over 60 different tribes. Spiritual significance of items, including sacred pipes and human remains, will be determined by Elders. They will pray over the items and then determine how to bring them back. As mentioned in my October 10 announcement, this situation remains in process. Please continue much needed prayers and energetic support.

At the time of the press conference, the Membership Board of the Barre Museum had still not signed any legal paperwork for the return of artifacts and human remains from the Wounded Knee Massacre. A reporter asked why since it seemed odd to announce their return without having signed the paperwork. I agree, but I carefully scanned everyone’s energy throughout the Zoom meeting. Despite the unsigned paperwork, things appear to be moving forward in good faith. After such a long search to identify Board Members to contact from the Barre Museum (also sometimes referred to as the Founders Museum), it seems like real relationships have been forged among Tribal Members, Board Members, Mia Feroleto and various photographers and consultants.

Hopefully the legal paperwork is now signed, or gets signed soon. On November 5, 2022, the Barre Museum Board Association plans to present a single box symbolizing the carefully packaged hundreds of boxes to be returned to the Tribe. In return, Tribal Members plan to present each Board Member with a gift, creating a ceremony of exchange. I teared up a bit as I typed, recognizing the profound healing intended by this event.

November 5, 2022 marks the Ceremony of Transfer in Barre. The Barre Library Museum Association also plans to help with repatriation. Delegates from the Pine Ridge and Cheyenne River Reservations will attend, along with Mia Feroleto and other invited guests. The Governor of Massachusetts received an invite but has yet to RSVP. Weather permitting, they’ll hold the ceremony outside. If not, it will occur in a nearby school. November 5 will begin the formal sorting, packing and safe repatriation of the items; however, this process will continue through the end of 2022.

Each year, from December 22-29, residents of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation participate in a horse trek honoring the events that led to the Wounded Knee Massacre. This year on December 28, riders will reach Wounded Knee, South Dakota and they will receive all of the repatriated items. On December 29, they’ll have a huge ceremony to which they’ve invited all the Barre Museum Board Members. At this point, true healing can begin.

I mentioned the US Pluto Return connection to this event. If you watch the video below, you’ll see what the US government did to Native Americans.

Without going into too much detail here, please know that there are current forces (WEF, etc.) that would like to do similar things and worse to US citizens. This agenda would affect people all over the world, but the US Pluto Return means deep, dark Shadow karma is coming home to roost in the US. Remaining on a more positive timeline requires doing whatever we can do now to stop adding insult to injury to those killed and traumatized at Wounded Knee and other massacres.

My September 2022 Forecast describes the energy on September 29 — the day the Membership Board of the Barre Museum Association voted unanimously to repatriate the requested items:

September 29 Venus enters Libra. The Love Goddess smiles with relief having made it through the Virgo doldrums. Venus enters one of her home signs, bringing extra grace to the arts, beauty, self-esteem and romance. Because we clearly know our own value, we find ways to compromise for the sake of harmony. We can afford to balance the scales, knowing we won’t lose ourselves in the process.

This Venus in Libra energy managed to overcome “third party interference undermining negotiations.” I took this date and event as confirmation of the good faith I sensed among all parties. The Indigenous People’s Day press announcement also occurred the day after a Full Moon in Aries conjunct Chiron and the US natal Chiron and two days after Pluto stationed direct. These were seismic astrological moves connected with the ongoing process of rightful repatriation:

October 8 Pluto stations direct in Capricorn. After a deep dive since April 29, Lord of the Underworld prepares to resurface. All those hidden things you thought would never see the light of day? Pluto drags ’em up when he’s good and ready. Nobody pushes Pluto around. Resistance is futile. Try to suppress that force, and you’ll find death, destruction and devastation like you never imagined. Work with Pluto, and he brings healing, rebirth and regeneration beyond your wildest dreams. Ignore him at your peril. If you’ve ever wanted to clean house, do so now. You have support.

October 9 Full Moon in Aries, 4:55 p.m. Eastern US time. The Full Moon conjuncts Chiron, alerting us to a need for healing. The Sabian Symbol for this “Blood Moon” is: (ARIES 17°): TWO DIGNIFIED SPINSTERS SITTING IN SILENCE. The symbol encourages us to pull inside ourselves, yet paradoxically to do so together. We must tend to our own inner landscape, but group meditations and prayer bring powerful results. Consider sitting in silence with one or more people, and holding an intention for love and healing. Nature and animal friends count, too! If you don’t have a person to meditate with, expand your idea of solidarity. Heads up: this Full Moon conjuncts the start-of-Watergate Chiron and sits between the US natal Chiron and transiting Chiron. An extremely challenging and painful time for the United States.

The Wounded Knee Massacre certainly qualifies as a challenging and painful time for the United States. When we hurt others to that degree we also hurt ourselves. The First Pluto Return of any nation always dredges up the most shameful secrets and darkest karma. Many countries fail to survive their First Pluto Return. Those that do usually face major restructuring and upheaval. Again, this ongoing situation seems directly linked to how brutal or regenerative the US Pluto Return will be. Although we’ve got turmoil right now, certain factions want to increase that turmoil to unimaginable suffering. For a preview, watch the video above.

I feel we can shift this energy and that we are on the most positive timeline possible, given the changes and revelations that need to occur. Surrounding this Wounded Knee repatriation process with love, prayer, Reiki and positive focus bolsters the positive timeline for the US and the world. “As the US goes, so goes the world.”

On November 5, 2022, Venus in Scorpio exactly opposes Uranus, signalling a major change in relationships. These are volatile, but potentially liberating energies. Winter Solstice occurs the night before the Pine Ridge Reservation horse trek begins, and Chiron stations direct on December 23, one day into the trek. With Chiron Direct, healing can now move forward in real, tangible ways. The third exact hit of the First US Pluto Return occurs on December 28, when the items arrive at Wounded Knee. The next day, December 29, Mercury stations retrograde — beginning a period of re-integration and review. Mercury Rx periods look back, so this feels appropriate for the re-turn and re-patriation. A century plus process finishes right before the New Year.

We’re also in the early stages of a US Chiron Return — a national healing opportunity that occurs once every 50 years or so. The perfect timing of all these transits suggests cosmic support for a delicate and sometimes painful process. Even if you’re not directly involved, please continue to support the process in whatever ways you feel called to do. In addition to death and destruction, Pluto also brings regeneration and rebirth. The purging of decay and desolation heals and renews. As the Hopi Prophecies say, “This could be a good time.” “We are the ones we have been waiting for.” May it be so.

Indigenous People’s Day Announcement

Email subscribers received what turned out to be a premature announcement yesterday. My apologies! I misunderstood Mia Feroleto’s suggestion that I might want to blog about the Barre Museum agreeing to repatriate remains and artifacts from the Wounded Knee massacre.

On Indigenous People’s Day, I just virtually attended the press conference and will provide a detailed account — but not today. As hinted at yesterday, this morning at 10:10 on 10/10 I had my own private “ceremony,” which dreams, synchronicities and then the actual event itself revealed as directly connected to all of this. Such details will remain private, but they’re the reason I’m not posting an immediate and thorough recap. 🙂

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, sent Reiki, ceremony and intentions to begin righting a terrible wrong in US history. Thanks again to Mia Feroleto for acting as a go between for the tribes and the Board of the Barre Museum. This repatriation process remains in process, so please continue the prayers and energetic support. Key dates include November 5, 2022 and December 22-29, 2022. I will share more details at a later time.

It was an honor to attend this announcement, and I was happy to see the apparent good will among all parties. As I said in yesterday’s now deleted post, “It’s difficult to overstate the importance of this repatriation. That it comes right after a Full Moon that sits between transiting Chiron and the US natal Chiron seems significant, too.” I’m sure everyone could sense powerful healing on multiple levels.

It’s official. Uranus has gone into retrograde motion. Ordinarily, that wouldn’t seem especially noteworthy, much less foreboding. But then we consider the context.

Pluto has been retrograde since April 29.
Saturn has been retrograde since June 4.
Neptune has been retrograde since June 28.
Chiron has been retrograde since July 19.
Jupiter has been retrograde since July 28.

And then we can factor in the phenomenon of Pluto operating in Capricorn in both the Tropical and Sidereal Zodiacs simultaneously as we head into the grand climax of the United States Pluto Return. This has produced a massive amount of pressure that has been building up throughout these months. It feels like a revolutionary powder keg waiting for someone to strike the proverbial match.

So now we add Uranus retrograde as of August 24.

The match has been struck.

Revelations Activate Revolutions

Uranus rules Aquarius, and has been known as the Revelator, the Awakener, the Idealist, the Revolutionary, the Liberator, the Humanitarian, the Reformer and so forth. When Uranus begins affecting any part of our individual or collective charts, the first thing he does is look for whatever is holding us down or holding us back. He shines bright light into our darkest corners, heedless of who might get blinded by the light.

His original and creative thinking processes immediately start formulating schemes for setting us free. Traditional thinkers often regard his mind as devious, wily and conniving. But every single plot he hatches out is aimed at awakening and liberating us, even from our own delusions. Uranus likes to push us out beyond the parameters of religious beliefs, philosophical systems and societal norms.

A lot of people fear the influence of Uranus because he can upset their little apple carts. Indeed, he can be unpredictable and therefore disruptive. He relies on the strategy of a hide and pounce hunter. He revels in the element of surprise. Unlike Neptune the Slow Dissolver, he waits for the opportune moment, and then strikes with a lightning bolt of Revelation.

Uranus is also known for exhibiting a bit of an attitude. Over the next several months, the creepazoids who have been running and ruining the world are going to hear his battle cry: “Screw this!”

The Aquarian Air Force is ready to unleash Truth Bombs from the sky.

Back to Retrogrades

As we move into September with all the aforementioned retrograde planetary pressure, we could use a little help from a little friend: Mercury. As the ruler of Gemini, Mercury takes charge of accessing and dispensing information. It’s not simply a matter of taking in data and spitting it straight back out again. Mercury loves to amass entire data sets, and then amalgamate, organize and creatively reformat them prior to communicating. It’s like taking a decade’s worth of experience, and distilling it down to a fifteen minute presentation.

The periods of Mercury retrograde are already fairly well known in the general public. In a typical year, Mercury will go into retrograde motion four times, for about three weeks each time. But after resuming direct motion, Mercury then has to retrace his steps back over the terrain where he had just finished confusing the hell out of everybody. This is where we slog our way through the Shadow of the Mercury Retrograde.

Some of us also take note of the period before Mercury stations retrograde. We call this period the Foreshadow or pre-shadow, because we are moving through the very degrees where we know Mercury is going to back over us after he shifts into reverse. And upon completing the actual retrograde, he stations direct and shifts back into first gear, so he can run over us again in the Shadow period.

Mercury entered this foreshadowing period on August 21, merely three days before Uranus began its own retrograde. And the Mercury Retrograde will officially kick off on September 10, the day before the 21st anniversary of the 2001 September 11 false flag attack. The Mercury Retrograde ends on October 2, followed by the Shadow period until October 26.

October Surprises

Another major player in our current retrograde game is Pluto. He was the first to go retrograde, and he will be the first to bundle up this pressurized energy and bulldoze his way forward. On October 8, Pluto will station direct in preparation for bringing the United States Pluto Return to its grand climax. On December 29, for the third and final time this year, Pluto will cross over its exact location in the chart for the 1776 Declaration of Independence. The gloves are coming off.

When elections are held in early November, we often witness impactful revelations or events that carry the potential to shift the outcome of the election. More often than not, an October surprise has been deliberately planned well in advance. Political parties and their candidates will always try to spin any narrative to their own advantage, so our sincere discernment will prove to be crucial during the coming months.

Pluto’s function in Capricorn includes unveiling what has been concealed. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, will station direct on October 23. Saturn’s advice for these tumultuous times would be: if you believe you must take sides, choose the side of universal truth. Facts will continue to be laid out in front of you, and sometimes the truth hurts.

However, any time truth hurts, the pain is merely showing us where we still hold mental and emotional attachments to inaccurate narratives.

Real Eyes Realize Real Lies

Aside from the obvious initials of Belief System, the word “lie” appears in the midst of the word “believe”. Human societies have conditioned us for ages to fixate our minds on various ideas, and then declare them true or false. And all too often, reams of fine print accompany a single concept that has an agenda behind it.

Uranus and Company are offering us an adventure in free thinking. Aristotle said, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain an idea without accepting it.” We are free to perceive without believing. We are free to regard ourselves as ever-changing bundles of ever-changing perceptions in the midst of an ever-changing universe. And we are free to turn off the so-called mainstream propaganda programming and say, “Screw this!”

We are also free to cultivate our empathy, intuition and sense of resonance as we observe the information war on the world stage. We are free to question everything. What if it’s all scripted? What if it’s all a game of divide and conquer? What if it’s all smoke and mirrors? What if it’s only there to distract us from who and what we truly are? What if most of the technology is no more than a dog and pony show? What if it’s just a movie?

You are free to determine the answers within your own Reality Tunnel, and you are free to change your answers as the story unfolds.

Who’s Who in the Zoo?

You might be tempted to lay bets as to which actors on the world stage are working for the dark side and which ones are working for the light. But you might not want to bet the farm.

There are signs along the roadside that say “Plot Twists Ahead”. Who are the white hats and who are the black hats? For that matter, who are the grey hats and who are the moles? Who are the double agents and who are the triple agents? Who are the ones walking the tightrope in the middle, waiting to see who wins, so they can join in and pretend to have been true to the cause all along?

Who are puppets and who are puppeteers? Who wrote the scripts? Who are the producers and who are the directors?

Mental and emotional attachments to persons, places, roles and specific outcomes aren’t recommended. When living in Sedona back in 1999, a friend and I would spend hours sharing data and comparing notes. We got into the habit of ending each discussion by saying: “Well, it’s a fascinating movie, and we have great seats. Pass the popcorn.”

Mars in Gemini for 7 Months

At the very beginning of August, Mars crossed over the North Node of the Moon and Uranus. This fired a shot across the bow of the ship of the old world, signaling a time of karmic reckoning.

On August 20, Mars entered the Tropical sign of Gemini. As mentioned earlier: Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, entered the pre-shadow of its current retrograde the following day, and then Uranus began its retrograde three days later on August 24. Mars and the Sun squared each other on August 25. If there had been any doubt as to whether the match had been struck to light the powder keg, Mars erased all doubt.

Mars has officially entered the fray. He will heat up the information wars and get a boost from an exact sextile to Jupiter on September 1, enhancing that energy by teaming up with Saturn by way of an exact trine with Saturn on September 28. Since Mars will go retrograde on October 30, he will exactly trine Saturn two more times, the next falling on November 28. The third won’t occur until March 30, 2023.

Another not-so-subtle aspect will see Mars exactly squaring Neptune three times; October 12 and November 19 of 2022, and March 14 of 2023. The Mars/Neptune squares promise to shatter illusions. With Mars going retrograde on October 30, don’t expect the Great Pumpkin to show up with goodies the next evening.

Full Moon in Capricorn ~ July 13, 2022

My July 2022 Forecast notes:

July 13 Full Moon in Capricorn, 2:38 p.m. Eastern time. This “Blessing Moon” closely trines the North Node in Taurus, bringing an earthy, collective benediction. Turning up the intensity, this is the second of three Supermoon’s. It loosely conjuncts the US Pluto Return. The degree of this Full Moon closely conjuncts the Saturn-Pluto Conjunction on January 12, 2020 — the signature energy of 2020. Hidden and taboo topics come to light, and we’ll feel them in a deeper, more profound way than usual. With Mercury in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus, we’ll find unconventional ways to discuss these insights. Venus in Gemini trine Saturn in Aquarius suggests we’re in it for the long haul, but our love, commitment and artistry might take awhile to manifest. In this case, “Delay leads to delight.”

The Full Moon occurs at 21°21′ Capricorn, so we round up to the Sabian Symbol for 22° Capricorn:

PHASE 292 (CAPRICORN 22°): BY ACCEPTING DEFEAT GRACEFULLY, A GENERAL REVEALS NOBILITY OF CHARACTER.

KEYNOTE: The realization that one may grow through defeat as well as, and perhaps more than, through success.

At this second stage we find what seems to be a paradox, but the spiritual life is always paradoxical. The great sinner can become the most renowned saint, and a medieval Pope a criminal. What matters most always is INNER STRENGTH.

On a personal note, we’re called to recognize where continuing to fight no longer serves. Humility both requires and generates great strength. Pluto only destroys that which stands in the way of relentless life force energy crashing through the status quo. At some point, we must face the inevitable: the more we resist, the greater the tsunami’s force. Once we admit our defeat, we open the door to Grace.

On a collective note, we may be called to reassess any issues that began in January 2020. COVID and all its widespread fallout come to mind. Surprising COVID information may present itself around the time of this Full Moon. Seeming “victors” may find themselves ousted by shifts in the established narrative (Mercury in Cancer opposite the Full Moon and sextile Uranus in Taurus.) The Full Moon’s Sabian Symbol suggests knowing when to cut losses, resign, or sue for peace. Again, humility both requires and generates great strength. The North Node trining this Full Moon brings support for the highest good of all — even if it doesn’t initially seem that way.

Also remember that this Full Moon arrives in context of the July 12 second exact hit of the first US Pluto Return. The stakes are high for any country undergoing its first Pluto Return. We’re talking life or death, karmic reckoning, power shifts, radical restructuring, healing crises, and/or a rebirth that regenerates a nation’s founding principles.

The Sun/Moon Midpoint at the time of this Full Moon is 21°21′ Aries, very close to the US natal Chiron. This suggests old wounds will reopen, with a chance for deeper healing. Transiting Chiron has just moved within orb of this US natal Chiron point, and is now in the same degree as the Chiron point at the time Watergate began. On June 17, 1972, a similarly hostile political climate engulfed the US, and the next two years of the Watergate scandal exposed systemic corruption, including CIA and presidential interference in an FBI investigation.

Because this Chiron Return coincides with the US Pluto Return, we can expect echoes of Watergate with even more intensity: revelations and wounds that trigger an existential crisis for the United States of America. This won’t all unfold at the time of the July 13, 2022 Full Moon, but pay attention to hidden and taboo topics that come to light. They’ll play bigger roles during the New Moon in Leo and the Mars-Uranus-North Node mega-conjunction in Taurus the final week of July. This is true both personally and collectively.

Some people say, “As the US goes, so goes the world.” That seems self-centered, but the US does affect a lot of policies, wars and opportunities around the world. Wherever you fall on the political spectrum or planet, this maelstrom stirs the collective pot. You can benefit from sudden change by positioning yourself to make quantum leaps when the chance appears. You don’t need to get sucked into a downward spiral. Chaos generates opportunity. Humility and curiosity often bring pleasant surprises and Divine Intervention. Remember: “Necessity is the mother of invention.”

Instead of clinging to something long past its prime, practice looking for silver linings and blessings in disguise. “That which you seek is also seeking you.” How much energy could you reclaim by turning with an otherwise irresistible tide?

This is a disturbing but important post. Though difficult to fathom, some kind of karmic reckoning will take place one way or another. The more of us who recognize and shift these energies, the less need there will be for all of America to experience this level of occupation and destruction.

I can only say with a tearful and compassionate heart that I, for one, am deeply sorry for the actions of aggressors at the Wounded Knee massacre. We cannot change what happened in the past, but we can hold accountable the current Board Members at the Barre Museum. We can insist on the repatriation of human remains and sacred artifacts. “Just following orders” is no excuse. We must each face the demons in our own hearts and minds, and find the power to move forward in new ways, beyond the victim/abuser cycle.

Just know that we are in a VERY karmic time in the US right now. These kinds of issues matter more than most people realize. Whatever and however you feel led to do, please do. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.

24 Years Post-TBI

May 19, 2022 marks 24 years since my life changing TBI. My brain injury occurred three days before my 25th birthday, so this next year also marks the year when things will flip to having lived longer post-TBI than I did prior to it. I turn 49 on May 22, 2022.

I’ve spoken a lot about this brain injury in interviews, and I wrote a whole book about my recovery. (If you’d like a copy of “If I Only Had a Brain Injury,” please contact me. It’s out of print and often crazy expensive on Amazon, but I have some signed copies available at a reasonable cost.) I’ve always considered this complete game changer the best thing that ever happened to me. Even though I’ve been medical intuitive my whole life, I would not be doing this kind of work without this injury.

Astrologically, I can see that I was due for something major. Ann Kreilkamp once looked at my transits at the time of my accident and told me, “Laura, if you had stayed in bed in the hotel room that day instead of getting in your car when your intuition said you’d get into a car accident, the ceiling would have fallen on your head!” Within moments of waking up at a red light, I felt this in the depths of my soul. “It” had happened. That mysterious, looming something that pursued me in recurring dreams was here. Now. And so, the journey began.

What a wild, beautiful, and yes, painful journey it has been. I feel I’m still on it, even though I consider myself fully recovered after four years of total disability. My brain got rewired. I am not the person I was the morning of May 19, 1998. My accident occurred at 1:11 p.m., and I catapulted into a new realm and a new way of being. I would not exchange that experience for anything.

Some of you have known me since before I hit my head. Many of you found me long after I tunneled through an underground initiation. I’m privileged to have walked with so many others through their own initiations, Dark Night(s) of the Soul, and breakthroughs to the other side. According to my doctors, I’m a walking miracle, and I humbly, gratefully and proudly wear that mantle. I experienced the touch of Grace in my recovery, but I also worked damned hard! It took grit, courage and everything I had and more to move from total disability to a thriving, happy, healthy life.

One of my doctors told me, “Laura, most people reach a comfortable state of disability and give up, but you’re different. You’re not satisfied with a comfortable state of disability.”

I was appalled at the suggestion that I would just give up. “That’s because it’s unacceptable. For me, there is NO comfortable state of disability.”

I didn’t know it back then, but I have an exact Grand Trine in Air of Sun-Moon-Pluto in my natal chart. Being under someone else’s thumb, at the whim of Workers Comp or insurance companies for the rest of my life? Not being able to support myself? Ummmmm, no! Absolutely not. Pluto gives you grit and resilience. He also gives you strength, and steely determination to reclaim your power. Pluto does not wallow in the role of victim. I refused to let injury, doctors, insurance companies or anybody else keep me down. It just wasn’t an option.

I share this story here, because I feel myself at that tipping point, where I’ve been alive longer post-TBI than pre-TBI. This feels significant, like flipping a switch. It also feels relevant on a more collective level, as the US continues its first exact Pluto conjunction since the nation’s birth. Things look bad right now — if you look with logic. My TBI threw out my rational side for four plus years. I learned to look through other lenses, to find the signs of healing along the way.

For those with eyes to see, there are many signs of rejuvenation, rebirth and resilience. Things will never be the same. We will face challenges, but sometimes what gets destroyed needed to go away. Only by removing the old — by doing a full gut rehab — do we find our beauty and full potential. I’m a walking miracle, and I know how to recognize miraculous potential. I see it all the time in clients, and I see it in the collective. Do not despair. Powerful transformation and healing are underway.

Thank you for being here now, on this wild, crazy planet at this particularly insane moment in history. As Albert Einstein said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” I, for one, always choose the miracle.

That is the secret to every recovery I’ve ever made.

US Pluto Return 2022-2024

Many people are reporting the first exact US Pluto Return (to the exact degree and minute of its place on July 4, 1776) occurs tomorrow, 2/22/22. While a potent date with all those two’s, the first exact US Pluto Return actually occurred yesterday afternoon (Eastern US time, 2/20/22). I suspect one person put the date at 2/22/22, and then everyone else went with those magical numbers without checking the true degree and minutes. [Update: apparently, there’s a one minute discrepancy in some ephemera.] No matter — we’ve felt the lead up to this for at least six years, and exact conjunctions occur and reoccur throughout 2022 and 2024.

I only mention that we already hit the first exact US Pluto Return yesterday, so that anyone dreading that date knows it already occurred. We survived!

I explained to a friend yesterday:

What’s really weird is that the US Pluto Return appears to be happening in Canada — right now. It’s not making much mainstream news, but the protests have remained peaceful, and the “police,” who many suspect are not actually Canadian police, are beating protesters, trampling them with horses, assaulting non-mainstream media reporters, etc. If this were happening in the US, a lot of people would just say, “Oh, that’s the US Pluto Return,” but it’s very odd to see it happening in Canada. 

There are a number of potentially system crashing things occurring in Canada right now — bank runs due to Trudeau and Ottawa police saying they will freeze people’s bank accounts and consider anyone who contributed to the trucker convoy to be terrorists, using Emergency War Powers to try to shut down a peaceful protest, and full on tyrannical measures … it’s very curious to see this happening in Canada. They have SOME interesting transits right now, but nothing as dramatic as the US Pluto Return. It almost feels like the US dodged some of its Pluto Return and it got sidelined to Canada.

Time will tell. In November 2020, I also had a dream that involved a large semi-truck changing drivers at a T-square intersection, and the masses not accepting this change.

I don’t pretend to know all the details of any of this. I know what over a decade of dreams have told me about these times. I’ve also spent the past many years sending Reiki to various hot spots around the world, as I feel led. I strongly sense that despite outward appearances, most of humanity is on the best possible timeline with the minimal amount of pain and suffering needed to trigger a mass awakening. (Pain and suffering do the job when subtler nudges don’t.) My February 2022 Forecast notes:

February 20 US exact Pluto Return. Like the New Moon on January 31-February 1, we can view this first exact US Pluto Return as a “barometer” more than a one-time event. As chaotic energies crash and churn, pay special attention to the still, small voice within. What do dreams, signs and symbols imply about the meaning of external events? No matter where you live, the United States exerts a formidable influence across the world. Seismic power shifts have been ongoing for years. This could be “the big one,” but with Pluto ruling the Underworld and deep unconscious realm, we might not notice the change until we feel its aftershocks. Along with the feared death and destruction, Pluto brings renewal and rebirth. As the Hopi say, “This could be a good time.” Watch for unfathomable blessings surfing a tsunami.

In personal Pluto transits, I notice that the lead up to the first exact aspect brings intense pressure, because we tend to resist change. Of all the planets, Pluto represents the most primordial, sometimes brutal change. But Pluto also brings the most radical regeneration. Clinging to anything artificial won’t work. Pluto rips that stuff away. While resistance is futile, leaning into the change brings superpowers. Looking for — and cultivating — signs of the new offers an easier way to deal with Plutonian energies.

It’s painful, yes, but in time, people recognize that Pluto brings new levels of strength, power and self-acceptance. Without the old shame as a point of control and manipulation, we learn to stand on our own two feet — natural and free. Think “Power To” rather than “Power Over.” In my view, this Chumbawamba song summarizes humanity right now:

Full Moon in Taurus, Lunar Eclipse ~ November 19, 2021

My November 2021 Forecast noted:

November 19 Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus, 3:47 a.m. Eastern. We begin eclipse season with a Full Moon in late Taurus. The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is “A WOMAN, PAST HER CHANGE OF LIFE, EXPERIENCES A NEW LOVE.” These energies put strong emphasis on new beginnings that arise from a place of maturity. Pluto trining from Capricorn offers extra determination and empowerment.

Dane Rudhyar’s full Sabian Symbol description seems worth pondering:

PHASE 58 (TAURUS 28°): A WOMAN, PAST HER “CHANGE OF LIFE,” EXPERIENCES A NEW LOVE.  

KEYNOTE: Man’s capacity to rise in consciousness and feelings above biological limitations.

After having stated the youthful and the aged approach of the human individual to the use of what his culture has brought to him, the symbolism stresses man’s capacity to rise above the limitations which both biological nature and the “normal” social pattern of behavior have tried to impose on him. As in many of the preceding symbols, a “woman” is pictured, because at this early stage of the cyclic process the individual consciousness still has a receptive or “feminine” polarity — as was indicated in the very first symbol of the entire cycle (Aries 1°).

Whenever this third stage of the twelfth sequence is brought to a person’s consciousness, the indication is that he or she should freely open his or her mind to the possibility of always new REBEGINNINGS. Ideally, the new beginning should imply a more mature response to the new possibility of experience.

Following the powerful New Moon in Scorpio, this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus reminds us to look for and cultivate new blessings, even as circumstances, vitality and relationships fall away.

Eclipse effects last six months, so this seems like a prelude to the first exact Pluto Return of the United States. For six years, we’ve dealt with a symbolic “peri-menopausal” time of change, as transiting Pluto approaches the Pluto point in the US natal chart from 7/4/1776. In symbolic terms, the US has endured dry spells, spotting, missed periods, heavy bleeding, fiery hot flashes, depression, rage, irrational fears, fatigue, brain fog, and severe hormonal imbalance. As with a personal peri-menopause, these shifts affect those around us, too. In this case, the entire world. We’ve experienced unpredictable changes to formerly regular cycles: but it hasn’t yet been a year since our last period.

The technical definition of “menopause” is when a full year has passed since the last period. Peri-menopause — the time leading up to this “change of life” — can last for years, sometimes over a decade. Again, the Sabian Symbol of this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is A WOMAN, PAST HER “CHANGE OF LIFE,” EXPERIENCES A NEW LOVE. The process of peri-menopause tracks with a Pluto transit: a long, slow destruction that leads to new life. Menopause shifts the creative process from physical womb to a fully engaged rebirth. Instead of losing blood each month, all that energy can now create on other levels.

Along with death and the destruction of that which no longer serves, Pluto also brings rebirth.

So pay attention! This November 19, 2021 Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in late Taurus offers a preview of when the US Pluto Return goes exact on February 20, July 11, and December 28, 2022: a barren Crone finds new love.

As we watch the old world fall away, even the sky reminds us to prepare our hearts for something wonderful and new. Adding to the Plutonian signature of this eclipse, Pluto trines the Moon from Capricorn, the sign of tradition and “old structures and authority.” We can grieve how life has changed, but rebeginnings abound. Soften to receive what inevitable destruction has revealed.

In addition to trining the US Pluto Return point (exact within minutes), this eclipse also exactly quincunxes the Galactic Center — another mystical trigger for love and rebirth. Not just any old love and rebirth: this love and rebirth is galactic, central and primordial.

New Moon in Leo

Tomorrow’s New Moon at 26 Leo offers a chance to reset to a more empowered form of leadership.

I’ve been busy doing sessions, working on a commissioned portal painting, gardening and taking in another wonderful day of sun, shade, sand and waves at Lake Michigan, so I’ll direct you to two insightful posts:

Ann is quite open about her thoughts on geopolitics, Shadow Work, and the upcoming first Pluto Return for the US. Wherever you fall on the polarized political spectrum, this Pluto Return — the first time in 248 years — will affect you. Even now, before it gets more exact in 2023, we’re feeling the destructive force of Pluto in Capricorn — intensified by Saturn and Jupiter there, as well. All of that now squares Mars in Aries, to varying degrees of exactness, creating friction between individual and authority, as well as ego (Mars) and the Force of Nature (Pluto).  Jupiter expands what it touches, and hopefully brings some big benefits, too, but this Capricorn cluster continues to pummel the USA natal chart’s Cancer locations.

Paying attention to Collective astro weather reports helps us take advantage of the energies instead of being taking off guard by them. Rain might ruin a picnic — or you can plan for a pavilion, or delight in not needing to water the garden. Everything has value.

Everything.

I often write of the uncanny ways my own natal chart matches up to the key astro alignments we’ve been going through, and how this will continue for me with eerie precision through at least 2025. I was surprised/not surprised to find some major connections between the USA natal chart and my own natal, as well as progressed charts. One of the biggest ones is that my natal Chiron and the USA’s natal Chiron are both at 19-20 Aries.

This means that the insanely long Pluto square Chiron transit I’ve had since February 2016 right before my dad went on hospice, has also been happening to the US itself. It has slightly moved off a direct hit, but I’ve described this transit as both brutal and incredibly healing. It has required a complete unearthing of all childhood wounds, Shadow Work, and the ways in which my weaknesses have become my strengths. The ways in which I am very much a Wounded Healer. On the USA front, so many horrible revelations have come forth, with more on the way … and we, as a country, have an opportunity for tremendous healing.

In addition to the Chiron connection, the US Mars conjuncts my natal Saturn, and my progressed Sun is at 16 Cancer, while the US natal Sun is 13 Cancer. The US Jupiter is on my natal Vesta — a healer and keeper of the sacred flame. My Isis and Asbolus (both seers) are within 2 degrees of the USA’s 6 Leo North Node. Lots and lots of connections — way more than I’m sharing here. The upcoming, monumental Pluto Return at 27 Capricorn conjuncts my natal vertex at 28 Capricorn, which, in turn, exactly trines my 28 Taurus Midheaven.

I’ve intensely felt Saturn crossing that 27-28 Capricorn point, and it reminds me of a dream I had last October. I’ve shared it before in one of the Precognitive Blues posts. It involved special mandala floors that would ensure everyone gets where they need to go “in the event of an earthquake.” You can think of Pluto as the earthquake, with Saturn going ahead and forging these special mandala floors. Even as so many old structures crumble, upgrades and renovation are in the works. There is much to be grateful for amidst the chaos and confusion — for those with eyes to see.

As intense as things can sometimes feel, blessings abound. Make sure to care for your inner child, your body and emotions. You will lead from a stronger, more empowered place if you tend to the scared, grieving or lonely spots. From vulnerability comes great strength.
