Happy New Year + Context for This 2018 Shift

David and I are still busy here hosting my mom and contemplating our own pivotal 2017, with continued major shifts into 2018. Last New Year’s Eve, David and I drove to Kalamazoo from Goshen, IN for a mini-honeymoon at the Radisson, enjoying Kalamazoo’s First Night Celebration. I posted about our experiences here.

What I did not share was how we had reserved our 2016 holiday letter for mailing from the post office in Kalamazoo last New Year’s Eve. We did so with the strong, full intention that we would be living here next (this) year at this time. We felt magic in that symbolic action, and every time we pass that post office, we celebrate the results.

Here we are, and what a whirlwind year it’s been! We have so much gratitude and awe for how everything transpired, and the volume of physical work it took to make it so. For us, 2017 was very much about bringing ideas into tangible actions, step by step into the new. We expect 2018 to continue that trend but in a more expansive and even more grounded and disciplined way.

I don’t have time today to write a long post about the coming energies, but for those wanting more context, I’ll include the following links (and sometimes links within links). I do want to note three significant factors: Continue reading

In Case You Wondered … Yes, the Energies Have Been Intense!

I keep getting emails, questions in sessions, and private texts from clients, friends and family asking me what the heck is up with the recent energies. Yes, they have been VERY intense! Some people have been using these energies as rocket fuel for positive changes. Others have felt overwhelmed by sudden health crises, major relationship flare-ups, mandatory evacuations, and “out of the blue” switcheroo’s.

I personally am doing very well, with lots of super synchronous opportunities appearing and requiring openness and readiness for change. I know many people have had their worlds rocked in the past two weeks, though, because I’ve heard about it in sessions. I coach a number of therapists, and they also noted a major uptick in crises, emotional outbursts and addictive relapses, especially since Easter. It feels like a big cleanse, in which the old gunk temporarily recirculates before its full release. It also feels like a time to go inward, and many people feel they simply cannot maintain the external obligations of a previous status quo.

Although my own life is going well, I had not one, but two, family emergencies last week, plus an onslaught of panicked correspondence from various people. To summarize, we’ve got four planets in Retrograde right now, including Mercury. You can find ways of dealing with Merc Rx by clicking here. Since April 9, Saturn, the cosmic task master, is moving Retrograde at the Galactic Center until August 25th, and we’ve got all manner of collective machinations ranging from civil unrest to World War 3. If you’re at all empathic or even the slightest bit conscious, such things exert influence on your life. The trick is to observe, consider (or reconsider) your options, and then commit (or recommit) to whatever makes your soul sing.

It really can be that simple. What step, right now, feels right in your gut? What brings surprising relief whenever you consider it? What choice, right now, supports those deep inner longings and desires that never seem to go away? What action, right now, aligns you with your path? With all these planets Rx, keep in mind that the next step might be a step backwards — a time to clean up, clear out, or review. If you cannot pass Go without taking this step, then stop resisting it. Use these strong Rx energies to focus on what demands attention before moving forward.

When choppy waves appear, we can drown or learn to ride them. We can throw ourselves to the sharks, or find our balance and glide with exhilaration. This is not a time for indecision; it’s a time for extreme presence, moment by moment. If you can’t make out the bigger picture, that’s fine. Just get clear on how you’d like to feel and then make micro-adjustments throughout the day to edge you closer to that feeling.

If you’d like extra support, please don’t hesitate to request a session. Big waves=big potential for lasting change.

Surf’s up, Lovey’s! Hang ten.

Tom Lescher/Kaypacha ~ September 11, 2013 Weekly Pele Report

Tough Love from T.L. Booyah! Rock it, Kaypacha. 🙂 I have soooo been feeling this, both in my own life and observing clients and the world stage. Boundaries seem particularly on the table of issues to deal with — physical, emotional, mental, spiritual — all the levels are getting major pushback. No more Mr./Ms. or Mrs. Nice Guy Doormat.

Enough is enough, and no, the world is not the patriarchy’s personal poop yard. Neither is our yard, the unleashed neighborhood dog’s personal poop yard — well, not for much longer. Project Dog Detective is in effect. Then comes more vigilant fencing, then come the warnings, and after that? Project Faery Hound. 😉 In all seriousness, we’re in an increased phase of needing to strengthen boundaries on all levels. People tend to project their own ideas of what’s appropriate onto others, thinking “Oh, I’ll just be nice. Surely, they won’t continue abusing the privilege or become obnoxious.” Well, sometimes that’s not the case. Sometimes we do need to speak up, shore up boundaries and strengthen our resolve. If you’ve already been feeling that, get ready for more.

From Tom/Kaypacha:

I have a right to be angry and get fired up,
When giving voice to the Goddess whose had enough.
For by piercing the silence imposed from without,
We create a new world worth shouting about!

“This week is all about 11’s, a master number to help us clean up some of the messes around here! We are all being called to task these days and it can be hard. It is a time to face the wind as strong, cold, or hard as it is and with determination forge a new world order (beginning with our own inner reality, then close relationships, then larger and larger circles of influence).

“The challenge afforded us through these times is to integrate the feminine qualities of softness, feeling, and inclusiveness into our personal and social lives. The old, easy way is when the going gets tough, we turn callous, cold, and hard….. let’s see if that can change into a strength that includes rather than excludes the wisdom of the feminine.

“In this report I mentioned a Lilith webinar I am giving as part of the EA network and a series I will be offering next month titled ‘Relationship and Intimacy in the Horoscope.’ You can find out more about both of these on my website http://www.NewParadigmAstrology.com I also mentioned the work of Mark Josephs-Serra that can be found at http://www.socialalchemy.eu Namaste’!”
