Reiki (pronounced “RAY-key”) is an ancient method of healing from Tibet. “Rei” means “universal” and “ki” corresponds to the “life force energy” known as Chi or prana in other Eastern systems like acupuncture or yoga. Thus, Reiki refers to the healing qualities of “universal life force energy.” Rediscovered in the late 19th century by a Japanese monk named Mikao Usui, Reiki works on physical, mental and emotional levels, restoring balance to body, mind and spirit. After completing this workshop, students will be certified Reiki 1 practitioners.

Reiki Master Teacher Certification Class in Kalamazoo, MI

The next Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level III Master Teacher Certification Class will be taught on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10-6 at a private classroom in Kalamazoo, MI. October 2016 Specials

Today is the last day to sign up for September 2016 Specials, but since I know them already, I thought I’d go ahead and post the October Specials now. As always, I base each month’s offerings on what I’ve seen in the past month, combined with what I sense needing support in the upcoming days and weeks.

I’ve decided to offer another Timeline Tune-In and Tune-Up Special because so many people contacted me in a panic in September wondering how they had suddenly begun a rapid downward spiral. Clients were crying, judging themselves for their “horrible luck” or “unevolved failure,” inquiring if someone had cursed them, and told me they were about to give up on life, Law of Attraction and any hope for their future. In every instance, these people had — amidst the current chaotic energies — somehow gotten jostled onto a negative timeline. Because of the intensity right now, trajectories can shift very, very fast, thus the confusion of how a blessed life suddenly seemed cursed. Timeline Tune-In and Tune-Up

This type of reading seems so important and helpful right now with so many people experiencing breaks from “normal” reality.

This hour session helps you to recognize your likely trajectory based on current energy patterns, intentions, and habits … and then, I search for the closest parallel reality versions of “you” with very slight differences that lead to more preferred (and more varied/greater opportunities for) positive outcomes. The scan and download are actually easier for me to do than to explain here, but if you’ve ever seen the movie “Sliding Doors” with its alternate reality story lines that intersect at certain points throughout the film, I’ll be scanning you for the stickiest intersection points.

I have found that these crossover points – i.e., parallel Universe bleed-throughs – can act like portals into alternate realities, preferred or not. That’s why you want to approach them consciously and respectfully, so that you recognize the power of the moment and choose wisely. The initial shift can look subtle, because if there weren’t enough similarities between the timelines/alternate realities, then the bleed-through moments wouldn’t happen so easily; however, in retrospect, such moments or decisions often seem “Fated.”

This reading gives you a heads up regarding the types of feelings, thoughts and experiences to watch for if you’re looking to sidestep onto a more positive timeline without needing to slog through linear time to get your desired life. In some cases, the preferred outcome even requires a sidestep, because the laws of cause and effect already set in motion on the current timeline are barreling you toward their “inevitable” end result. Fortunately, linear time’s not all it’s cracked up to be! August 2016 Specials and September Reiki 1 Class

Due to multiple requests and my own intuitive leading, I’ve decided to extend the July 2016 Specials another month. Many people feel the need for ongoing support as they make huge shifts during this intense time period. I’ve also noticed an uptick in bizarre brushes with death and reminders of the very thin skin between what Starhawk calls El Mundo Bueno and El Mundo Malo. Most people I know have managed to embrace intuition and turn the life or death scenarios into something positive and strengthening; however, the frequency of these events even among people “on path” has convinced me that now remains an excellent time for Intuitive Preparedness.

Please also note the September 10, 2016 date for Reiki 1 Certification in Goshen, IN. Quick Update and Reiki 2 Class Date Change

I just want to express my heartfelt appreciation for all the comments, emails, love, prayers, healing and Reiki people have sent to my dad, me, and my whole family after this morning’s announcement. Thank you, we are feeling it!

I spoke with my parents this afternoon, and they both sounded good. I told my mom I had put my dad on my own “prayer list” of all the healers and amazing souls who read this blog, and my mom said, “Well, there’s a lot of that going around right now! I’ve re-upped him on the church prayer list, and we’ve been hearing from people all day.” They’re in good hands — many hands and good hands — so thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

When my dad got on the phone, he sounded more energized than I expected, and when I told him I had added him to my Reiki-prayer list via my blog, he said, “Well! That certainly helped a lot before, so thank you and thank them.” Just knowing how many people are praying for him and sending healing also helps him have courage and peace as he faces his medical news.

Synchronicity chimed in to open up this Sunday, February 21 as a possibility for the Reiki 2 Certification Class I had originally scheduled for Saturday, February 27 in Goshen, Indiana. Since my registered students’ lives spontaneously rearranged at a time when I might need to make an earlier trip to Pennsylvania, we all felt it wise to switch the date. We do still have room in this recently announced class, which will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. If you’d like your Reiki 2 certification this weekend, please contact me for details.

At this point, my parents don’t think I need to make a flight before David’s and my intended road trip to PA in early March; however, I let them know that I can work from wherever, so say the word, and I’ll catch a plane. The Reiki class was the only must-do-in-person commitment I had scheduled in Goshen prior to our trip. We don’t know the timing on all of this, but both parents feel the same sense of rightness about David’s and my trip as we do. That said, I will no longer be offering an option for Reiki training during my trip to PA. We want to dedicate this trip to spending as much time with my family as possible.

It’s that time again! Here are the first specials of the New Year.

JANUARY 2016 SPECIALS:

$44 Reiki Healing Attunements to Empower Goals

This is a specific type of Reiki Healing Attunement used as a means to infuse long-held dreams with the potent oomph of Universal Life Force Energy. A traditional Reiki treatment encourages your body (on all its levels) to relax so that it can heal itself. I usually reserve Reiki Healing Attunements for when someone has significantly moved into the healing journey, received many of the lessons of the illness or injury, and yet the healing hasn’t budged.

With health concerns, a Reiki Healing Attunement presents the opportunity for necessary change — often very quickly — and so I reserve it for when I sense someone is ready to change (just needing an extra nudge) or for emergencies. If someone’s not ready to embrace everything required for dramatic healing, then a regular Reiki treatment would be much more gentle and appropriate.

Using a Reiki Healing Attunement to empower goals, however, offers a powerful boost to determination and seems to summon synchronicities and new ways through. For this reason, Reiki Healing Attunements are my personal go-to whenever I have a dream I can’t figure out how to turn into reality. This is another new special for 2016, possible as a standalone, but designed to go with the $44 Reiki Healing Attunement to Empower Goals. The two part special includes a half-hour coaching session to explore whatever goal(s) you’d like to include in the Reiki Healing Attunement. That session will give you a chance to articulate to yourself and to me what you’re looking for, as well as give me a sense of what underlying factors I need to consider on your behalf. The second half-hour session will be a combination of tarot and/or sharing of anything I sense as a beneficial focus or new direction for you as a result of the first session and Reiki Healing Attunement.

I don’t normally offer anything comparable to this special, but usual rate for a half hour session is $90 each, so the Two for $122 would represent a $58 savings. Please contact me to sign up. The Faeries’ Dream

The Fae seem to go through phases of having strong messages and support for humanity, and I (and others) sense a recent increase in activity. Upcoming Reiki Certification Classes in Goshen, Indiana

I’ve got Level 2 and Level 3 (Master Teacher) Reiki Certification Classes classes scheduled in Goshen, Indiana for Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, respectively.  Long distance training via phone, distant Reiki, and email is also available for students committed to Level 3 training who prefer not to travel for an in -person class.

Numerous people have previously contacted me regarding another Level 1 class, since they could not attend the prior dates. If I can find a date that works for several people and can fit into my schedule, I’m open to offering another Reiki Level 1 Certification before the later levels I have on the calendar. If all goes well, I’ll be moving office and classroom operations into the blue house next door on September 1, but since I don’t know exact timing, I would need to limit the Level 1 spots as though I’ll be teaching in our living room.

UPDATE: The next Reiki Level 1 Certification Class in Goshen is Saturday, August 29 from 10-5. If you’re interested, please let me know right away, as spots are filling fast. Cost is $175 ($150 if prepaid by August 15, 2015).

According to our landlord, the house will for sure be ready for the September 19 and 20 classes, which is good, because I’ve already reserved the upstairs rooms for two students coming in from Ohio and Illinois. Please note: this is a Notre Dame football weekend, which means early booking will reward your travel plans, as last minute hotel reservations are often tricky to find. I might have one more spot for someone in the Blue House if you don’t mind a queen-sized air mattress. I’m not sure I’ll have the futon in there yet.)
