Ann Kreilkamp ~ Concrete, Irrevocable Shifts: The “Feel” of Capricorn

This is a great piece written by Ann Kreilkamp, way back in 1989. Although written nearly thirty years ago, this piece sheds much light on our current times, especially with the decisive shift of Saturn into its home sign of Capricorn on December 19, 2017. I’ve mentioned this many times on this blog and in sessions, as those “concrete, irrevocable shifts” keep making themselves known. It often feels like realities are splitting, and perhaps they are … or maybe it just feels that way as people make repeat decisions in one direction that triggers action regardless of what their words say.

In any case, I highly recommend this article for anyone who sensed a shift in mid-December. It will also speak to anyone who has a strong Capricorn, Saturn or Pluto presence in their astrological chart. I’ve got both Saturn and Pluto in strong positions, with Cappy North Node (oops, I accidentally typed “rising” in the first version of this post; it’s Capricorn North Node), so it’s no surprise I’ve finally hunkered down to write this deep book on the metaphysics and underworld journey of Lyme disease. I know others stepping into intentions they made long ago, as things now align to support that call to action.

Not everyone appreciates or understands astrology. No worries if you don’t. I just find astrological insights very confirming of my own intuitive sense of life and events, and I know many clients and readers do, too. Since I am not, myself, an astrologer, I like to point to good articles when I find them. Click here for Ann’s deep dive into the “feel” of Capricorn.

Ann Kreilkamp ~ “Saturn to enter Capricorn on December 19, 2017 — slow down! Serious business ahead!”

Huge thanks to fellow permaculture friend and blogger Ann Kreilkamp for this excellent write-up. I read energies and come to similar conclusions via different means, so it’s always helpful and confirming to see it all explained from an astrological angle. If you’ve been feeling or noticing an increased sense of immediate “karmic consequences” for yourself or others living out of alignment, or if you feel like life’s “putting the squeeze” on you (and/or the US and its sick underbelly), read on for context and strategies:

Saturn to enter Capricorn on December 19, 2017 — slow down! Serious business ahead!

By Ann Kreilkamp

Saturn moves through one sign in about two and a half years. This will be its first transit through Capricorn since 1988-1990. If you recall, those are the years that surrounded the fall of the Berlin wall, on November 9, 1989. One of the keywords for Saturn is “wall.” Plus, that wall was up for 30 years, one Saturn cycle!

Back then, not only Saturn, but electric Uranus and oceanic Neptune were also transiting through Capricorn, moving in and out of conjunction during part of that time, and not leaving until 1995.

The millennial generation, born during those years, is tasked, on an unconscious level, with dissolving (Neptune), breaking down (Uranus) and reconfiguring (Saturn) forms — of both our own bodies and the institutions of society. For Capricorn is a sign that rules form, structure, rules, roles, regulations. It sets the philosophies and ideologies of Sagittarius (where Saturn transits just prior to Capricorn) in place, gathering, holding, and stabilizing energetic flows through its forms and channels.

This time around, since early 2015 during which Saturn Continue reading

Timothy Glenn ~ Global Metamorphosis

The following post from my dear friend, Timothy Glenn, comes to us all the way from 2008! Yep, Tim’s been getting nudges to look at earlier writings, and this one came out to play first. Read in April 2013, it provides a nice (and eerily accurate) recap of the past five years, with a look all the way back to 1995, along with continued predictions to 2015.

By way of intro to this 2008 post, Tim shared in an email:

“Over the weekend, I was thinking of sending a 2008 article about Pluto in Capricorn, which feels more pertinent as time goes on. But the premonitions kept building (to the point of physical impact) and nothing constructive got done. Monday’s false flag unleashed so much. Are you doing okay physically? As you’ve noted in your blog, it’s a challenge to be empathic and to be enhancing our sensitivities at this time.

“In the vernal equinox article, I said:

Another facet of Saturn in Scorpio supporting Pluto in Capricorn involves bringing things hidden out into the public eye. With these two focusing the point of the Yod on Jupiter, we can anticipate more revelations that will rock the geopolitical world.
Earth Herself may get rocked in the coming months, but the religious, economic and political elements of the human world will certainly be shaken to their crumbling foundations.

[Laura again: I, too, felt the premonitions this weekend. Monday’s events brought extreme sorrow and frustration, but also an awareness of how much faster hidden things come to light these days. As I’ve said before, I am no more than an armchair astrologer myself, but I love how Astrology gives us an overview — sometimes far in advance — of what the cosmic energies support or undermine. That’s why I share so many guest posts by professional astrologers. These provide Universal context to individual and global experiences. Here’s Tim in his extremely prophetic blast from the past]:

Pluto Comes Out of the Closet in Capricorn

The three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) always do a triple transit over every degree of the Zodiac, which would naturally include the cusps of each sign. These planets never simply enter a new sign and go about their business. First, they enter a sign to give us a preview of what they intend to accomplish during the several years they will be influencing us from that sign, and then move in retrograde motion back into the previous sign. After affording us an opportunity to tie up loose ends and seek resolutions, the time comes to move into the new sign with sleeves rolled up, ready to begin the fresh tasks in earnest.

As the slowest planet, Pluto gives us the longest transitional period, not to mention the most thorough scouring of each sign. Here in 2008, Pluto is finishing its work in Sagittarius and beginning its work in Capricorn. He began his Capricorn foreshadowing on January 26, has now gone retrograde, will reenter Sagittarius on June 14, and then will finally emerge into Capricorn on November 27 for a sojourn of about a decade and a half. Remember: Pluto never does a fly-by.

Diehard in a Hard Hat

Pluto brings transformational energy into everything it touches. Unlike Saturn, Pluto does not do remodeling jobs. We can picture Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn, as the guy who heads the quality control department. He steps forth into a specific part of our chart wearing a white lab coat and carrying a clipboard. After making check marks and jotting a few notes, he hands us the paper and says: “Here. Changes these things.”

But not Pluto. He saunters onto the scene wearing steel-toed boots and a hard hat. He frowns and shakes his head while glancing around, and then announces: “It’s all coming down. Bring in the wrecking balls and the bulldozers. We’re going to build something brand new here.” Monty Python fans can picture a sudden appearance of John Cleese in an unlikely setting, uttering the famous words: “And now for something
completely different.”

The Gauntlet Has Been Thrown in Sagittarius

When Pluto began insinuating itself into Sagittarius in 1995, the transformational challenge involved our overarching philosophy of life, the universe and everything. For millenia, humans have been driven by fear, lust, ignorance, anger, pain, greed, and other such non-qualities. Our resulting interpretations of life have played out in spectacular fashion, to the point of threatening our very existence.

The message of Pluto in Sagittarius has been: wake up, grow up, and get real. For more than a decade, we have watched millions realize that our beliefs and attitudes help shape the world around us, and the time has come for us to live responsibly on this planet. But then we have the bulk of the population clinging to antiquated illusions, still following the Powers That Would Be, who will undoubtedly cling to their control mechanisms with insane desperation. But they are obviously insane anyway.

Pluto Plows Into Capricorn

As an earth sign, Capricorn deals with brass tacks 3D reality. It builds our external structures based on the philosophies developed in Sagittarius. We concoct our ideas about the nature of the universe, and they manifest in Capricorn as religions. The fearful belief in the mean old man in the sky gave us organizations like the Vatican, dedicated to fostering ignorance and foisting control over the people.

Our notions concerning resources and their distribution manifest in Capricorn as the economy. The greed-driven approach we know all too well has given us soulless machines like the central banking system, Wall Street, and the Federal Reserve (which is neither federal nor a reserve).

Our philosophies about how we can all get along without destroying ourselves has raised the flags of government. Deception, manipulation and oppression abound.

Pluto in Capricorn insists that all such structures must come into alignment with our more evolved philosophies. Again seeing Pluto wearing the hard hat, it will help if we understand that the entire old system has to come tumbling down; the religions, the governments, and even the economy. Perhaps the prospect frightens most folks, but the old world must make room for the New Earth. Period.

No Joking Matter

The preview we have been given here in the first half of 2008 paints a foreboding picture of times to come. In the United States, we have witnessed the foreclosure rate jump through the roof, the dollar take a breathtaking plunge, gasoline prices spike, and other such indicators.

While discussing this with another astrologer, we shook our heads and laughed. “What are we going to tell our clients as this unfolds? Gee, your chart looks great this year. You might not lose your house.” But we acknowledged that within a year, this will no longer sound like a joke to the vast majority of people.

From June 14 until November 27, Pluto will give its last call in Sagittarius. “Eleventh hour confessions, anyone?” After this year’s preview, the choice feels like mutate or die.

Pluto Takes a Leak

As the ruler of Scorpio, Pluto deals with anything deep, dark and hidden. From our dirty little personal secrets to the colossal coverups of the old world Capricornian monsters (the governmental, religious and economic institutions), this transit will shed light where darkness has dominated.

Capricorn and Saturn rule the tenth house in the natural wheel of the Zodiac. The tenth house is often referred to as the house of career in our charts, because it deals with what we do in the public. It includes our standing in society, our reputation, and our interactions with “the system”. In more universal terms, Capricorn equals the public.

As Pluto, the ruler of the underworld, grinds its way through Capricorn, it will tend to bring that which is hidden out into the public eye. Do you suppose we will see “leaks” of information the Powers That Would Be would rather keep secret? Count on it. Watch for it. Get ready to do something about it.

To use an analogy from The Wizard of Oz, Toto will pull the curtain aside. The public will see who has been pulling the strings on the world, adjusting the levers and pushing our buttons. The sight will probably not look pretty. Unlike the movie, we may not uncover a lost little old man who will be willing to help us find our way home. Pluto’s message: deal with it.

Mutual Deception

Before Pluto will even reach the halfway point in this massive transit of unveiling mass deception and breaking down the old system, another phenomenon will occur. Saturn will enter Scorpio in October of 2012. For almost three years, the ruler of Capricorn will probe the depths of Scorpio, as the ruler of Scorpio intensifies its efforts in Capricorn. With Saturn and Pluto in mutual reception (each in the sign ruled by the other) facts long concealed will finally see the light of day.

If we can accept responsibility for what we have allowed to happen to ourselves and the earth, we will be inspired and empowered to shift our reality. We will discover our true nature, our actual history, and our innate creativity. The Co-Creation of Heaven on Earth will become increasingly manifest as Pluto moves across the halfway point of its Capricorn adventure in 2015.

Give Us a Break

Come New Year’s Eve of 2015, we may want to take a break and enjoy the halftime festivities. But Pluto will merely be warmed up and ready to rebuild new structures to replace what has been demolished, and demolish whatever remains of the old world. It might get exciting. The second half of Pluto’s awesome adventure in Capricorn will pave the long and winding road that will lead directly into Aquarius. The dawning will be complete. Perhaps in the Age of Aquarius, we will be able to lighten up and get
playful with our Plutonian energies.

Timothy Glenn ~ Vernal Equinox 2013: Ready For Launch, Good To Go

I always love coming home to some wise forecasting by my wonderful friend, Tim Glenn of In today’s post, he sets yesterday’s Spring Equinox in context of the recent Mercury Retrograde period and some events on the horizon later this year.

In case you’ve wondered: yes, that was a particularly rough Mercury Retrograde for so many people, myself and electronics included! Tim and I compared notes the other day, and it seems that we and most of our highly intuitive and astrologically inclined friends got whacked, too. This includes people normally savvy enough to sail through Mercury Retrograde periods with a bit of proper planning and internal reflection. Not so this time!

I lost track of how many times (and attempted times) my Yahoo account was hacked or otherwise non-functional. Three CD players in our house quit working — one of those remains very picky, another irreparable, and one had a mysterious, renegade piece of hair very deep inside. Eh-hem … David shaves his head, so, yeah … that was mine. 😉 The oddest thing about the hair in the CD player was that David received an intuitive hit to check for exactly that (random and bizarre) thing before shipping it away for repair. Thank you, overwhelming Piscean energy, for adding to intuition and not just messing with everyone’s emotions!

Anyhoo, here’s Tim with additional insights and suggestions:

Vernal Equinox 2013

Ready For Launch, Good To Go

By Timothy Glenn

The power-packed chart for the Vernal Equinox unleashes much of our pent-up energy and potential, but with an explosive quality that may turn our lives into balancing acts. As light and dark manifest in equilibrium on this day, we are encouraged to seek good old-fashioned balance in our approach to the challenges ahead.

The Sun enters Aries to join Mars and Uranus before Venus arrives to help smooth ruffled feathers and such. The Winds of Change will begin raging in an unpredictable fashion.

Especially since so many facets of our lives felt stuck and even discombobulated by the Mercury retrograde in Pisces, adventure and surprise could become welcome staples for awhile. Anything that got sloggy during the heavy Pisces phenomenon of the previous month, can cut loose its moorings and set sail on what promises to be a turbulent sea.

Our Vernal Equinox chart does not assure smooth sailing, but sail we must. It might help to remember the old adage: “A ship is safe in harbor, but that’s not what ships are for.” Sailors know what it means to keep your Sea Legs; strong, flexed and ready. You would not find a real sailor standing around on deck stiff-legged, lock-kneed and flat-footed.

Especially in athletics, we have often been told “Stay on your toes.” When we heed this advice, our weight shifts forward, and we are prepared to meet whatever comes our way head on. April, May and June of 2013 do not look like a time for leaning back or holding back, much less refusing to let our Light shine.

Etymology of a Keyword

Life will burgeon forth in a wild surge for a few months, and the magic word “choice” comes to the forefront. We can cower and try to hide from the inevitable shifts occurring, or we can declare ourselves ready for launch. We can send the message to the Universal Control Tower that we are “good to go”.

With enthusiasm!

Here is an etymological perspective on the word “enthusiasm”. En-theo-ism, which translates: “In a Godlike state of Being.” Most of us do not picture God as some sort of Infinite Wimp, nor as a Cosmic Yawn of Boredom. In a Godlike state of Being, we follow our excitement and throw ourselves into life.

A Fairly Grand Trine

Equinox Day does give us a brief but beautiful Grand Trine later in the day as the Moon in Cancer teams up with Chiron in Pisces and Saturn in Scorpio to form a triangle in the Zodiac. We would do well to use the next few months to prepare for the Major Grand Trine in the water signs coming to a planet near you in July.

Thomas Edison’s definition of luck: When preparation meets opportunity. We have an old saying that all things come to those who wait, but Edison did a bit of editing on that one: All things come to those who hustle while they wait.

These three months ahead are a time to surge forward, and our little baby Grand Trine reminds us not to leave emotional healing out of our itinerary. Our hearts have taken the brunt of the damage incurred during our unconscious years, and this marks an excellent time to burst forth and leave the hurts behind. Yea, though I walk through the shadow of the valley of pain, I shall fear no catharsis.

But the most effective prep work is whatever your Spirit moves you to do. Reality is not a one-size-fits-all proposition.

Get Ready to Get Real

The Vernal Equinox chart also contains a Yod, or Finger of God. Loosely speaking, in fact, it give us two. A dear friend likes to use these opportunities to “give the middle finger of God” to whatever blocks her way forward. But some folks like to see a Yod as a sword, in particular: the Sword in the Stone. If we lack the gumption and/or faith to pull the sword from the stone, not much could be expected.

The Jupiter/Uranus sextile does form a Yod with Saturn, but the orb is loose and will continue to loosen with time. This one does not feel overly fateful.

But the Saturn/Pluto sextile forming a Yod with Jupiter is reasonably tight, and will tighten as the planets continue moving. Especially with the sextiling planets, Saturn and Pluto, working in Mutual Reception (each in the sign ruled by the other) the dismantling of outmoded structures will accelerate. Their point falls on Jupiter, who loves accelerators and is not quite sure what a brake is. People wallowing unconsciously in the dark may find themselves prodded awake and not understanding where they are.

Jupiter serves as the point of this particular Sword, and Jupiter is associated with expansion, abundance, success and luck. Again, luck is when preparation meets opportunity. We would be wise to get ready to face dark secrets within ourselves and out in the world at large. This process has not been traditionally recommended for spiritual wimps, but copping out may be eliminated as an option.

The Devil Card

The Devil Card -- Rider Waite Deck

Ah, the Devil Card: that reversed pentagram wielding symbol of all things evil and the sinister forces to which we willingly chain ourselves. The ultimate Shadow of repressed desire and rejected parts of the Self. Perhaps no card represents so clearly where humanity stands in relation to freeing itself and getting back to the Garden. As in the Garden of Eden. According to Wikipedia, “The Devil is the card of self-bondage to an idea or belief which is preventing a person from growing or being healthy.”

Conspiracy theorists and people following David Wilcock’s ongoing and latest updates about the end of Financial Tyranny will recognize Devil imagery in disclosures about the Illuminati and “the occult economy.” Overt Satanic rituals, mind programming in the media, near non-stop lies by government and a meticulous 300-year plan to enslave humanity! 300 years? Well, that depends on your source. Documentation remains for at least 300 years; however, some sources would bump that up to 2,000 years, 13,000 years or even “from the beginning.” Same soul group recycling the same diabolical plots of world domination and mass extinction. Can it really be that bad?

Yes and no. You can certainly find evidence for some real sick puppies on this planet. You can find evidence of fraud in banking and nearly unspeakable acts of government. These details will continue to leak into the press, especially as more and more people turn to alternative news online. Lamestream media has lost an astonishing level of credibility and viewership in recent months. CNN alone lost 50% of its viewers in March 2012! Our voting machines and election results may be obviously rigged, but we can still vote with our attention and (what’s left of) our money. Just as the chains on the Devil Card remain loose enough to slip off, nobody external chains us to manufactured news and default reality.

Police state? Why bother? Humanity has already shackled itself to a Shadow side that it claims to want destroyed. We reject our own power, secrets, sadomasochism, obsession with taboos, and then wonder how these “monsters” get so big! With Pluto in Capricorn — the Devil often masquerades as a goat 😉 –anything dark and hidden will be revealed. In addition to ruling wealth, Pluto reigns in Hades as “Lord of the Underworld,” another strong Devil-association. Capricorn has a natural ruler of Saturn, another planet with strong ties to “Satan,” co-opted religions, and the “Satanic Cabal.” Occult simply means “hidden,” but that word alone conjures fear and trepidation among many. Dabbling in the occult means playing in the “Dark,” and the watered down and overly sanitized version of our victim selves judges our own and others’ darkness.

As Carl Jung said, “Whatever is not conscious will be experienced as fate.” “Good” people don’t go to hell, even if they’ve accidentally left their personal power, self-respect and larger perspective there. They don’t need to go to hell, because those who reject their own Shadow side continually manifest hell in their lives and on this planet. Wikipedia reminds us: “The Devil is both the Ur-Adversary, and a tremendous source of strength. He represents nearly an inexhaustible source of energy. Battling him gives us strength. Submitting to him completely is ego-death.”

My friend Tim Glenn tells me that until the Catholic Church started messing around with the Tarot, the Devil Card used to be The Garden. Yes, as in Garden of Eden. (As I type this, I’m at 555 for word count: “555 – Buckle your seat belts. A major life change is upon you. This change should not be viewed as being ‘positive’ or ‘negative,’ since all change is but a natural part of life’s flow. Perhaps this change is an answer to your prayers, so continue seeing and feeling yourself being at peace.” ~Doreen Virtue) In addition to international money laundering schemes and worldwide depopulation agendas, hidden parts of ourselves launch to the surface for review. We have the opportunity now to co-create the Garden, rather than simply returning to it as ignorant servants of a benign dictatorship. In fighting the Devil, we can learn “his” tricks, which reveal to us our own tricks and self-attacks. In fighting the corporate police state, we can embrace our own inherent liberty, and stop judging ourselves as weak, flawed, stupid or undeserving of Paradise.

Whitley Strieber’s “The Key” offers a challenging definition of Sin: “denial of the right to thrive.” Before we point fingers at all the people, institutions and devils denying us the right to thrive, we would do well to examine our own self-imposed limitations.

“Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they’re yours.” ~Richard Bach

What happens when humanity sees just how easily it can remove those chains? Will we tighten them? Will we walk away? Will we turn the pentagram right-side up and reclaim our excellence? And will we ever celebrate with all our “devils,” recognizing and thanking them for how they’ve catalyzed us to thrive?

Astrology, Banking and Politics

I just can’t get this post out of my head. It came out around February 13, and I read it then. I liked it. I like this Spacemuffin person, although I don’t know her at all. I just really resonated with her post about Becoming Invisible, and the following astrological post jumped out at me. In writing Schizandra and the Gates of Mu, I became aware of some astrological alignments during the founding of the US, as well as the Numerology related to 7-4-1776. My friend, Tim Glenn, first taught me how political figures use Astrology to calculate opportune times for wars, revolutions or passing questionable bills. Right now we live in a world governed by money. As JP Morgan said, “Millionaires don’t use Astrology, billionaires do!”

In any case, when I originally read this article, I got giddy. I like global change. I’ve been intending it for lifetimes, er … decades. 😉 I just hesitated to post the Spacemuffin report, because even though it resonated big time with things I’m sensing, it does sound rather radical. “Wait a week,” I said to myself, “and see how you feel then.”

Well, what a week we’ve had! We’ve got tangible signs of change happening all over the world. You can click here to see links to an unbelievable number of articles detailing head bankers “retiring” or “stepping down.” But wait! There are even more. Lord James of Blackheath just launched a major rocket of revelation by demanding Parliament investigate $15 trillion worth of fraudulent transactions linked between British banks and the US Federal Reserve. He affirms what “conspiracy theorists” have known since its inception: the Federal Reserve is not a government institution. It’s a corrupt private bank responsible for inciting most of the wars and other trauma on this planet.

On the weekend, some events covered more widely in international news (in contrast to the US media blackout) seem to lend even further credence to David Wilcock’s book length internet expose of banking fraud. Actually, the Financial Tyranny articles articulate in plain language and documented detail, most of what so-called conspiracy theorists have been murmuring for decades. Tides have turned, though. As individuals continue to work on their own inner Shadow, the corrupt Shadow government has begun to falter. Big time. The State of Virginia even passed a nullification of the fascist NDAA laws. Other states are following suit. “Tenthers” (advocates for Constitutionally backed states’ rights against federal tyranny) and “Oathkeepers” (US military sworn to protect the Constitution rather than the whims of a rogue government or individual) continue to push back against attempts at strengthening the US police state. Between arrests, greater transparency, increased whistle blowers, and massive resignations in the financial industry, tangible signs of change sparkle at those with eyes to see. We really are moving into a free-er, happier world! Thank you for being the change. As within, so without. Let’s bring it!

Thanks to for sharing this Spacemuffin post:

“The Higher They Climb, The Harder They Fall”

This is the second part to the article that was titled ‘It’s only Castles Burning.’

We spoke of Mars and Saturn being retrograde at this time, and things will continue as discussed, but now we have to pull retrograde Mercury and retrograde Pluto into this puzzle. Pluto has been lurking quietly in the background in Capricorn since 2008 and has, in this sign of worldly power, been the silent pot simmering on the back burner, ready to destroy the established world orders. It represents changes that take time, but leaves nothing standing after it passes.

Mercury will go retrograde on March 14th – April 4th. Many people believe this to be a time when technology fails us, and communication systems break down, but this time it will not be so simple, as these are strange and unusual times. Not only will it be retrograde while Mars and Saturn are retrograde, but it will spend two full weeks in conjunction with the planet Uranus (who’s just minding his own business right now), and also forms a terrific square with that lurking Pluto. There are a few more aspects, but no point in getting overly scientific, let’s just skip to the meat and potatoes.

Only problem is, there’s more. The curtain actually goes up at or about the time of February’s New Moon on the 21st of this month. We have a strange zodiac on this day, which shows the Sun and Moon and Neptune in alignment, give or take a degree or two, in the sign of Pisces. We have several other planets very close by and we have all these planets, 6 of them to be exact, in direct opposition to these two nasty retrograders, Mars and Saturn. Forming a magnificent square to each side, we find Pluto.

On this New Moon, the planets line themselves up to demonstrate a very unsympathetic set of aspects to poor Pluto, who’s just about to go retrograde anyway, and in this way, create stronger opposition to this planet. As the planets move away from the New Moon, the 90 degree angles will come to completion, and the strain will be felt very strongly, both by the society who wants freedom, and those who want to keep them in prison. After this new Moon, we will experience a quickening of events, in relation to governmental and financial destruction.

These are difficult energies to take, both for people’s emotions and for earth’s waters. This brings to mind the 28th Hexagram in the I Ching: Preponderance of the Great: “The Ridgepole sags to the breaking point……….it is an exceptional time and situation; therefore extraordinary measures are demanded. It is necessary to find a way of transition as quickly as possible, and to take action. This promises success.”

After the New Moon of this month, it will become difficult to continue to hide things from the world. Mercury will be approaching its standstill, its conjunction with Uranus, and its eventual backwards rotation on March 12th. At about the same time, retrograde Mars will form an exact square with the silent and stationary Pluto, and there is potential, at this time, to experience an increase of violence, or perhaps ultimately, military disarmament, or a final show of force before surrender.

Mercury retrograde, this time around, will be electrifying, as well as confusing; in conjunction with Uranus, immensely enlightening; but not in a silent, spiritual way, but in a surprising, unexpected, and even shocking kind of way. Towards the beginning of March, Mercury will take centre stage, drawing the currently quiet Uranus in with it. We must remember that the weakest link for our controllers is the media, and once they lose control of that, the game is officially over. For the media, this has been a long road. They are bursting at the seams, soaking up the strain, playing monkey in the middle, and struggling to continue lying to the public.

The journalists, investigative reporters, and television hosts, are not what they appear to be, behind the scenes. Those who report things to humanity are burning to tell the truth, truths which they are well aware of. These are individuals who are told on an hourly basis what to say, and what not to say, and lately, they’ve been told to not say a great many things. Can you imagine life in their position? And if you know anything about Mercury retrograde and the current status of world events behind the scenes, then you know what this could mean at this time, for the role of the media is to communicate events. If it is not able to do so, it becomes part of the problem, which must then face the same type of re-structuring so that it can be made right, like everything else, so that it may become functional, and honest.

Mercury transiting Uranus for two solid weeks, while retrograde, equates to sudden enlightenment for a great many people; news that comes as a shock; flashes of awareness hitting them from all over the place. It will be very difficult for humanity to continue sleeping through aspects like this, but then again, humanity has proven that it can sleep through just about anything. No, this will be a time of revelations and harsh ‘wake up calls, but also confusion, as to what to believe, who to believe, and what the real truth is. Because ultimately, when humanity learns the truth about their fearless leaders (who will by this time be heading for the hills), they will undoubtedly by somewhat surprised, respectively.

Mercury goes direct and once again passes Uranus on April 22, Earth Day. This will be a day when more enlightenment is shed, and may also be filled with many pleasant events. But Mercury does not go retrograde again until mid July.

Now let us turn our focus to retrograde Pluto. Before a planet goes retrograde, it becomes stationary, meaning it slows down, or stands still. Pluto moves slowly anyway, so when it stands still, it really stands still. And it begins to do that at around mid to late March. (Another spotlight gets turned on). This is the time, in ancient Astrology, when it is said that a planet resembles a person filled with fear. Paralysis may occur, as one is hesitant to continue, just as the planet is stopping in its motion. In the psyche of those affected, this can manifest as running away from situations in the person’s immediate reality. This is reflected in the standstill.

It is at this point in time that the division between men occurs; those who possess some inherent wisdom and foresight will stop trying to paddle up the raging river, while those who lack insight, and refuse to give up control, continue walking down the path of destruction. We’re talking about Pluto here: Pluto gives no quarter and takes no prisoners, instead merrily destroys everything false in its path. Pluto doesn’t care about how you feel and will ruthlessly perform its service and not look back. You just can’t mess with Pluto.

Pluto is in fact in the sign of Capricorn, which governs worldly power, and Pluto is the great bringer of change. There is no democracy here for those who participate in current high ranking worldly affairs, and they don’t get to vote. They were never going to survive this plutonian transit, and it will soon become impossible, once Pluto becomes stationary and goes retrograde. The big cookie must crumble. But we may expect some mischief mid to late March, as mentioned, as they scramble for a way out, or attempt to lash out at humanity, just because they still can, and because they will be in their final days and hours.

If anyone wishes to examine the governmental changes of the last Pluto in Capricorn cycle, they may examine historical events from 1762 to 1778. But this time around, it must be understood, that the power structures are far more globalized, centralized, organized, unified, and corrupt. The higher they climb, the harder they fall, and this retrograde Pluto, in the sign of Capricorn, will herald the inevitable: the total destruction of government as we know it. To imagine it could be any other way is a fairy tale.

Let us be good Astrologers and remember that Mars and Saturn are still retrograde, and Saturn not only RULES the negative side of Libra, but is IN the sign of Libra itself and feels quite comfortable there, being exalted in Libra. How fitting! Retrograde Saturn, in its sign of exaltation, zipping through the heavens, spotlighting all the false earthly relationships that were doomed from the start. And Saturn is in fact the ruler of Capricorn, where we find Pluto lurking! What fun! (The knee bone is connected to the thigh bone…….). What is occurring now, behind the scenes, is corporate back-stabbing, at a level that most of us could never even possibly imagine, but would nonetheless quite enjoy viewing. We have to take all the aspects into account, in order to understand the bigger picture.

But Saturn also reflects one more area of human drama which we refer to as the courtroom. And the sign of the scales is none other than Lady Justice herself. Something tells me our courts are going to be very busy until about mid October, when Saturn finally goes into Scorpio and Pluto gets some forward momentum going once again. Not surprising, really. But since all the judges will themselves be on trial, we better roll up our sleeves and try to get some good seats.

This is good enough for now. But remember, when the media is freed, many things are going to come down the pipe. And that includes disclosure. I hear there are some people from very far away who are just dying to say hello.

Face Piles of Trials with Smiles.

New Moon in Aquarius and Mars Retrograde: Releasing Anger and Energy Vampires

As part of my ongoing Forgiveness Experiment, I discovered a hot technique the other night for rechanneling the negative emotions associated with psychic vampires, narcissists, and other people who’ve flagrantly betrayed our trust and boundaries. With Pluto in Capricorn, all sorts of hidden truths have begun to reveal themselves both individually and collectively. All the deepest, darkest secrets and abuses will continue to shock and bother us as this combination of planetary energies forces the Shadows into the Light. It’s time. Carl Jung reminds us, “That which we do not bring to consciousness appears in our lives as fate.” Moving through the Shadow frees us to embrace a brighter world.

In addition to Pluto in Capricorn, some other astrological energies support finding productive ways to engage and then release our anger. We’ve got the Chinese New Year on the 23rd: Year of the Water Dragon! We’ve also got a New Moon tonight in Aquarius and beginning tomorrow, Mars Retrograde in Virgo. Thanks to Tania Marie for bringing “Let the Dragon Roar” to my attention: “Welcome to Mars turning retrograde in nitpicky Virgo! The warrior planet will be retracing its steps from Jan. 23 to April 13, and continues to energize this earthy sign until July 3. Altogether, it will spend almost eight months in Virgo, helping us channel our anger and frustration, get organized, heal ancient wounds, and find constructive ways to right personal, corporate and planetary wrongs.”

Two nights ago, I tapped into Pluto for assistance in releasing resentment. I said, “Hey, Pluto, you’re the Lord of the Underworld and the phoenix rising from its ashes. I want you to help me burn through all these emotions related to ____ and help me use them as fuel for transformation. It will save me from having to sort through them at all. I’ve determined this was a toxic relationship and whatever good I got from it was mostly due to my own determination to find the gold. Now I really want to find the gold — as in Alchemy. Rather than digging around in the muckety muck of old memories, trying to sort through the good, the bad, the ugly, the guilty, the nostalgic and especially the very, very confusing, I’m just opting to burn them all. Positive and negative emotions are powerful energy. If I burn through positive emotions, I still receive their benefit. I don’t need to worry about ‘wasting good memories’ if I’m using them for fuel. And the bad memories I can use for fuel as well. I’m tired of giving away my energy to these emotions, and I’m really tired of the emotional cords that allow ____ to continue surfing off my energy. I want my energy back. I want my life to return to the here and now. I don’t need those memories, Pluto. I need and invoke total transformation. Torch ’em!

I went to bed angry and churning over memories that have haunted me like so many tantalizing ghosts, even when the rest of life feels magically alive. No matter what I did, some memories continued to repeat at the least convenient or appropriate times — until I tried this technique as I drifted off to sleep. It’s so weird, but I can no longer access memories of many things that were formerly on constant replay. They’re just … gone … as though I burned through actual photographs in my mind. I feel energized instead of burned out. It’s working for me. I hope you find it helpful, too!

I recently found this Michael Tsarion video/radio interview, “Psychic Vampirism, Destructive Man vs Creative Man.” I think he gives one of the best explanations of the phenomenon and ways we can choose to move through it. He’s careful to distinguish between using the idea as a means of avoiding our own responsibility and the actual situation of people who purposely prey upon other people’s Light. I very much appreciate his recommendation to have fun with our process of freeing ourselves. Evolution need not be a constant drag. It need not make us feel like victims. If you’ve wondered about Energy Vampires, narcissists or Psychic Vampirism, this interview informs and inspires. It’s long, but worth the listen!
