Ethan A. Huff ~ The Facts on Glyphosate, “Satan’s Molecule”

Here’s what I don’t get: a surprising number of people who eat organic food, who frequent Farmer’s Markets and believe in “permaculture” and “natural everything,” have suggested we use Roundup to get rid of poison ivy on our property. Because somehow Roundup “painted on” a noxious weed doesn’t count or “isn’t that toxic.”

Likewise, “environmentalists” in San Francisco’s East Bay Area advocate “painting” Roundup and an even more toxic chemical on clear cut eucalyptus tree stumps as a sustainable way of managing an invasive species. Ummmmm, personally, I will learn to live with an invasive species before I will voluntarily spew death and mutant causing chemicals on my lawn or near my food supplies. Not coincidentally, my dad still has non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, mentioned below, developed after a summer of Roundup use a few years ago.

I also knew a woman in Sedona who had almost died after living near a golf course and walking there every morning with her little dog, who did die of cancer within months of their move. This friend had recovered and moved away from her Florida golf course home by the time I met her, but she was passionate about body cleansing. Her medically verified toxin load from the golf course weedkillers and chemical fertilizers was so high that she had previously lost all of her hair and double digit weight without chemotherapy. Her life was forever changed by that “luxury” home with the pristine expanse of thick, weedless “lawn.” Even many years later, she needs to remain vigilant to stay ahead of the toxic load on her liver. No alcohol, only organic foods, regular cleansing — or she literally can’t function. She’s a walking miracle that never would have needed to occur had she not lived near such laudably poisonous conditions.

I can (sort of) understand less informed people using Roundup and other toxic chemicals after watching advertisements or reading the packages. What stymies me is the internal switch that seems to click in otherwise well-informed and passionately organic people who “love the Earth.” Somehow, their use of Roundup magically won’t funnel money into what has been voted the most evil corporation on the planet, and — equally mystifying — their use of Roundup won’t possibly escape into the soil or pollute their own, carefully managed, otherwise organic food crops. Likewise, in the Bay Area, the “painting” of 1,400 pounds of Roundup on stumps and spraying it (and worse) into the air won’t in any way pollute the local watershed, land or air.

Really?!?!!!! How marvelous! For those who think “just this once” won’t hurt, have a look at some sobering facts below. Thanks, G!

Ethan A. Huff ~ The Facts On Glyphosate, ‘Satan’s Molecule’
Natural News, July 16, 2013

The most widely used pesticide chemical in the world, glyphosate has been a target of environmental protection and human rights groups alike for many years now. And rightly so, as glyphosate, which is widely marketed and sold under the Monsanto-owned brand Roundup, is linked to causing cell damage, genetic mutations, miscarriages, behavioral disorders, reproductive damage, immune disease, cancer, and death.

All of this and more is revealed in a 2004 paper published in the Journal of Pesticide Reform, which highlights many of the dirty little secrets about glyphosate that you will never hear about from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), or any other regulatory authority for that matter. While the EPA and others are busy arbitrarily declaring glyphosate to be safe enough to eat, real scientists are uncovering the many horrors associated with exposure to this pervasive chemical.

Glyphosate was created to kill life

By its very nature, glyphosate has been designed to squelch life before it can even begin. Monsanto’s own background and marketing materials for glyphosate explain how the chemical blocks plants from producing the nutrients they need to survive, effectively killing them. And this chemical solution is being indiscriminately spread across tens of millions of acres of crop land every single year in the U.S., which is leading to massive dead zones of lifeless soil and polluted earth.

“Glyphosate blocks the activity of an enzyme used by plants to make certain important amino acids,” explains the glyphosate fact sheet. “Without these amino acids, the plant cannot make proteins required for various life processes, resulting in the death of the plant. Glyphosate is a broad spectrum herbicide, so it kills most types of plants.”

Did you catch that? Taken literally, this succinct description reveals glyphosate to be nothing more than a life-destroying poison. Natural, living organisms, in other words, do not stand a chance when it comes to being exposed to this chemical – only genetically-modified (GM) plants that have been artificially programmed to resist glyphosate are able to survive, and this at the monumental expense of the greater ecosystem in which they reside.

Commercial glyphosate formulas contain dozens of highly-toxic ‘inert’ ingredients

But glyphosate itself is not the only major cause for concern when it comes to the chemical’s use. As it turns out, Roundup and many other commercial glyphosate formulas are also loaded with all sorts of so-called “inert” ingredients that are not indicated on the label. As highlighted in the glyphosate report, these inert ingredients typically carry with them their own toxicity, triggering many of the same harmful side effects as glyphosate in isolation.

5-Chloro-2-methyl 3(2H)-isothiazolone, for instance, is a chemical component used in Roundup that has been linked to causing both allergic reactions and genetic damage in laboratory tests. And 3-Iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate, a biocide often used in glyphosate formulas, has been shown to cause thyroid damage and growth abnormalities in test subjects. Other harmful glyphosate ingredients include petroleum distillates, polyoxyethylene alkylamine, and methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, which are linked to fertility problems, genetic damage, and other harm.

“Four laboratory studies published in the late 1990s demonstrated the ability of glyphosate and glyphosate-containing herbicide products to cause genetic damage,” adds the report. “(And) three recent studies have demonstrated a link between glyphosate exposure and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer.”

Soil persistence, water contamination, drift, damage to plants and animals, and “superweeds” are among the many other major causes of concern with regards to glyphosate. None of these issues has ever been properly addressed by governing authorities, and yet glyphosate continues to increase in use year after year.

About Those Breasts …

First of all, I completely support the right of each person to decide what to do with his or her own body, even if that decision involves medical abuse, belief in treacherous “sickness” care rather than healthcare, or gross misunderstanding of the connections among diet, lifestyle, spirituality, and health. I support an individual’s choice to do what they will to and with their own body, because I want to retain that right for myself.

When I see Congress pushing through not only the Monsanto Protection Act but now trying to make it illegal for states to have their own GMO labeling laws, I get mad. When I see the EU making anything but genetically engineered seed illegal to save, share or sell, I want to scream. When I see armed forces attacking and shutting down innocent Amish farmers for selling or sharing their grass-fed, certified organic raw milk with informed customers or herd-share owners, coupled with the US Dairy industry petitioning the FDA to change the definition of “milk” to include the chemical weapon known as “aspartame” so that they don’t need to label it, I am, frankly, disgusted.

Not as disgusted as I am with the idea of human-hybrid genetically engineered cow milk, or human-hybrid GMO rice, but yes, disgust, outrage and revulsion … the complete gag reflex … are in order here. When talk of “mandatory vaccines” creeps into the conversation, the phrase “over my dead body” almost involuntarily escapes my lips. At the very least, I want to maintain my own rights to my own body even if the Supreme Court disagrees, and so I completely respect Angelina Jolie’s right to choose a “preemptive” double mastectomy and ovary removal due to her expressed fears of a genetic predisposition to cancer.

However … if you are a woman concerned about breast cancer, please do not turn to the mainstream media or Hollywood for the properly programmed response to your own health concerns. I’m not a doctor. I’m not giving medical advice here, but please, please, please educate yourself on alternatives. There are so many options out there, from alternative to preventative to complementary to stories of completely spiritual, spontaneous healings. Dr. Bruce Lipton has proven in scientific studies that DNA does not even offer the last word in healing. The Biology of Belief trumps genetic predisposition to anything. Gregg Braden has also demonstrated the incredible — some would say miraculous — healing power of the Heart. Sunshine and Vitamin D offer natural prevention and a documented cure for cancer. You can read about that here and all over the internet, if you look for it.

People have cured themselves from cancer using raw food, juice fasts, hemp oil, chaga, pau d’arco, meditation, hands on healing, Reiki, and all manner of natural remedies and emotional/spiritual solutions. You can find that information if you seek it … just not on the mainstream news or in traditional medical circles.

In addition to learning about cancer cure options and cancer prevention, please educate yourselves on the corporate shenanigans and pending Supreme Court case related to Angelina Jolie’s timely announcement. Mike Adams of Natural News has written a series of articles detailing not only the futility of lopping off body parts as a guarantee against cancer (which is a systemic illness and imbalance not restricted to any single organ or body part), but he has also revealed the connection between Jolie’s announcement and: attacks on women and their bodies, record profits for the breast cancer gene test, Obamacare funding for this test, and a Supreme Court case deciding the fate of patenting human genes.

Yes, there’s a Supreme Court case deciding the fate of patenting human genes. Does that creep you out as much as it creeps me out? Did you even fathom it was an issue? From Natural News:

“The ACLU and the Public Patent Foundation filed a lawsuit in 2009, challenging the corporate ownership of human genes. Anyone who believes in women’s rights, human rights, civil rights or even the right to eat non-GMO foods should immediately agree that corporations should NOT be able to patent human genes and then use those patents to rake in billions of dollars in profits while stifling scientific research into those genes.

“A question to all women reading this: Do you believe a corporation in Utah owns your body? If not, you should be opposed to corporate ownership of human genes. It also means you should oppose Angelina Jolie’s P.R. campaign because although she’s running a brilliant public relations campaign, behind the scenes her actions are feeding potentially trillions of dollars of profits directly into the for-profit human gene patenting industry that denies human beings ownership over their own genetic code.

Learn more:

“‘The ACLU explains the basics of its lawsuit against Myriad Genetics as follows:

‘On May 12, 2009, the ACLU and the Public Patent Foundation (PUBPAT) filed a lawsuit charging that patents on two human genes associated with breast and ovarian cancer, BRCA1 and BRCA2, are unconstitutional and invalid. On November 30, 2012, the Supreme Court agreed to hear argument on the patentability of human genes. The ACLU argued the case before the U.S. Supreme Court on April 15, 2013. We expect a decision this summer.

‘On behalf of researchers, genetic counselors, women patients, cancer survivors, breast cancer and women’s health groups, and scientific associations representing 150,000 geneticists, pathologists, and laboratory professionals, we have argued that human genes cannot be patented because they are classic products of nature. The suit charges that the gene patents violate the First Amendment and stifle diagnostic testing and research that could lead to cures and that they limit women’s options regarding their medical care.’

“Got that? If the Supreme Court rules against Myriad Genetics, it will cause a multi-billion-dollar breast cancer genetic testing industry to collapse virtually overnight. This means a huge loss for not just Myriad, but also many other human gene corporations that wish to exploit the human body — including the bodies of women — for monopolistic profits. (All patents are government-granted monopolies.) Ultimately, trillions of dollars in corporate gene patents are at stake here.

Patenting human genes is huge business.”

[Laura again:] To put all of this into more of a metaphysical context, today’s primary freedom issues are not just about debt slavery. Yes, the big banks and big corporations currently own our government, our Strawman SS#’s, our income (via taxes) and our property … but at last count, *only* 20% of human genes have been patented. Yes, creepy though that is, we still retain the rights to 80% of our own DNA. If the current trend continues, though, then the big corporations won’t just own all seed (and by extension all food), but they will own every single part of life. The seeds, the water, the air, the land, and most importantly: you. Why do you think they want all that brain mapping? Hint: it’s not to foster excellence. It’s all about control. Mind control. Emotional control. Preemptive criminal profiling. Thought Police. Sound paranoid? It is. And rightfully so. As humans, we are body and soul. An overarching force wants complete control of both. Brave New World and 1984 all rolled into one.

Angelina Jolie, God/dess bless her, has a history of either knowingly or unknowingly shilling for a certain perverted and overarching agenda of control. We live in a world that desperately needs a return of the Divine Feminine, because we live in an impotent patriarchy gone mad. A world run by psychopaths who behave like the very cancer cells they claim to kill. Look at the patterns of Monsanto, Big Banks, Big Government, and Big Pharma — and now, compare Big Brother to the way that cancer spreads. Cancer is an unnatural mutation that does not know when to stop replicating itself. Cancer creates and consumes without restraint and without regard for life itself. Like all parasites, cancer willingly kills its host, because it cannot grasp the fact that by killing the host, it eventually kills itself. Cancer rapidly creates perversions of natural, healthy, balanced cells. Contrast this with Mothers and their willingness to nurture and love their children. Contrast this with the Divine Feminine that nurtures the Land and her children — all her children — into healthy balance.

Breasts and ovaries symbolically represent the creative force made manifest in the female human body. Jolie’s announcement, right after Mother’s Day, and coming at a time when we so desperately need nurturing rather than aggressive preemptive attacks and control (Libya, Syria, Iraq??) … this announcement and the insidious effect it has already had on public opinion makes me very sad.

If you have already had a mastectomy, I mean no condemnation or misunderstanding of your journey. My mom had breast cancer when I was 13 years old, and the domino effects of her journey have deeply shaped my own life. Let’s just say, my cancer survivor mom doesn’t have the only scars from that experience. In 2006, I lost my best friend to breast cancer. She had embarked on a natural program of wheat grass juice and vegan foods and was improving so much that her doctor feared “her toxic chemo wouldn’t take.” At her doctor’s recommendation, Leigh “backed off the wheat grass juice and dietary changes until she finished her course of chemo.” She died within two weeks. My 36-year-old cousin Erin passed last October from metasticized breast cancer treated by all the “newest and best advances” in chemotherapy and radiation. She died with a body and brain full of holes, burns and toxic chemicals, leaving a young daughter and grieving family.

I had my own aggressive breast cancer scare in 2002, which I managed to shift with lifestyles changes and spiritual healing that resulted in a “shockingly benign” lumpectomy. I get it. I know the lines grow blurry when people quote statistics or play on your emotions. I also know that if you’re not ready to make all the necessary lifestyle shifts in the short window available, then some combination of dietary, alternative and traditional medical intervention can extend your life long enough to make the bigger shifts. I have spoken with dozens and dozens of breast cancer survivors as clients and friends, as well as supported clients through the process of dying when, for a variety of reasons, they chose not to invoke any alternatives. The soul continues beyond this body, but they are lovers. We can nurture that relationship or initiate the great divorce. By incarnating, we agree to become spiritual beings having a human experience. I’m simply lobbying that we remember “choice.” I also want to protect the choices we still have by pointing out propaganda, mind control, agendas, disempowerment, misinformation, and emotional blackmail.

I know this article may deeply anger some people, but please know, we are at war for the very survival of the human race. Please take the time to situate Angelina Jolie’s announcement in context of the bigger issues facing our planet and our species. Solutions exist, but these solutions involve a return to Nature, not the further manipulation of humans and Nature into synthetic machines. Alexander Barry places the current dynamic into a spiritual/metaphysical/historical perspective. You can find his videos here. You can also read an earlier article I wrote called “Breast Health: Some Medical Intuitive Observations.” We face extreme challenges, but we came here as souls knowing we had the potential to heal and to create a better world. We have the strength of a Mother’s Love … Mother Earth, all the Mother Goddesses, and the nurturing, loving, mothering aspect in all of us. Let’s love each other. And ourselves. Let’s love our planet.

Blessed Be.

Why didn’t the US just attack Afghanistan with Monsanto GMOs?

By Jon Rappoport

May 1, 2013

It would have been so simple. Flood Afghanistan with Monsanto GMOs. Truckloads of seeds. Tanks full of Roundup herbicide. Result? Nutritionally deficient food crops, chronic disease, poisoning with Roundup. Perfect.

And we know how to do it, because we’ve been doing it to ourselves for almost 20 years. We’ve got it down.

GMO ballot labeling initiatives in Afghanistan? Are you kidding?

Plus…and this is a big winner, Monsanto scientists could have developed a GMO poppy seed. Throw those babies in the growing fields and you’d have gotten some Franken-opium variety. Wildly unpredictable effects. And sprayed with Roundup? Junkies all over the world would rather go cold turkey than shoot that stuff.

Actually, I had a comprehensive plan for closing out the war. It would have worked like a charm. Somehow, the Pentagon wasn’t interested. Now it’s just an historical oddity, a could-have-been. Some day, scholars might cite it in their assessments of US efforts in that far-flung region.

For posterity’s sake, read it. And weep, you Pentagon fools.

Pull all the troops out. Everybody knows we’d have to stay there forever. Kill Taliban, they hide, we leave, they come back. Why go up against that? Just vacate the country.

Then…put a winner of a plan into effect. Something that actually makes sense.

Start easy. From hundreds of planes, drop fast food all over Afghanistan. Burgers. Fishsticks. McMuffins. Legs, breasts, wings. It’s a good intro. Lightens everybody up a little. Two weeks of chicken done right.

Then, from those same planes—candy. Fifty thousand tons of gum drops, jelly beans, Almond Joy, Reese. Hell, Reese all by itself is unstoppable.

Sugar! You’re telling me people can resist sugar? They’ll be scooping that stuff up off the frozen ground. In high mountain areas, tribes live on lichen cooked over yak turds. All of a sudden, here come 20 colors of jelly beans out of the sky!

Give them enough sugar, and they’ll be running in circles one minute and lying back and napping the next. It’s a law of biology.

A month of heavenly candy.

Then next, a million cases of various diet sodas dumped out of our planes. Aspartame! Weird those dudes out. Three months of diet-everything. They won’t be able to find their way back to their yurts. They’ll be bumping into rocks and trees, howling at the moon.

Now comes the heavy action. Carpet bomb the whole country with little TV sets. And beam in soaps, Judge Judy, Rachel Ray, Dave and Jay, Oprah, Little House on the Prairie reruns, Law and Order, CSI, and wait for it—sports! Soccer, and, you guessed it, women’s beach volleyball! Amazons wearing almost nothing running on sand, hour after hour!

“Hey, Ahmed, it’s time for the Friday night tribe meeting.”

“Shh! Beach volleyball! Then Victoria and Billy just adopted a baby. She can’t have kids. Billy paid two million for a little girl. But it’s actually Daisy’s baby. Nobody knows it!”

The fabric of Afghan society comes apart at the seams.

US planes fly over with a few million cases of Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, and Ritalin. Open the bomb-bay doors. Drop those suckers right down the slot. And tranqs! Valium! Old stocks of Librium.

On the ground, pills and capsules everywhere. You can’t walk by without picking a few up and swallowing them. It’s another law of nature.

So after a few more months, you’ve got the whole country hooked on meds. They’re weaving and wobbling and gnashing their teeth, when they aren’t completely zoned. A suicide problem begins to develop.

And finally, out of those blessed US planes comes the coup de grace. A few million computers. Wireless. Afghanistan is online, which means—that’s right—porn! Porn and gambling!

This, in a matter of, oh, six months, will totally destroy the Afghan culture, such as it is. You see, my friends, we’ve got weapons we didn’t know we had. Real weapons!

So we let all this simmer for a while. We let things take their natural course. We’re out of there. Not a single US casualty is being sustained.

And then, just to make sure we have the entire country enveloped and warped beyond repair, the CIA begins to broadcast, through all those TV sets and computers—take a deep breath—ready?—the AFGHAN HOME SHOPPING NETWORK!

Oh yes, my friends, where there’s a will, there’s a way. Don’t bother bringing up the fact that the Afghan people don’t have money. They’ll find money! They’ll sell each other if they have to! They’ll pawn their yaks and rifles and take out second mortgages on their shacks and huts and yurts.

The Afghan Home Shopping Network won’t be denied. Shampoos, soap on a string, Kleenex, shower caps, earrings, toe rings, rugs, couches, square-dance instruction CDs, kitchen knives, scarves, fans, belts, undies, shoes, pet food, bird houses, pot holders, battery operated hair dryers, perfume, books on tape, storage containers, stockings, lipstick, eye shadow, bathrobes, self-improvement tapes, bracelets…

Absolute conquest.

And not a shot fired.

And when the population begins to develop all sorts of serious symptoms from this campaign, as they surely will, we send in the doctors and the shrinks, and they diagnose! They diagnose diseases and illnesses and disorders from here to Sunday, and they prescribe more (toxic) drugs.

It’s a party.

We do to the Afghans what has been done to us.

Because you see, that’s the pattern. We know it intimately, because we’ve bought into it ourselves.

We’re already that kind of society. Who better to impose it on another population?

And when the people of Afghanistan are softened up, poisoned, and wrecked, we bring in the US public education system and install it. That way we pick up the few remaining holdouts, the kids who have this crazy idea that they want to think for themselves, and we bury them under social programming.

We get those kids collecting aluminum cans and cheering for the 50 or 60 vaccines they’re getting pumped into their already-weakened immune systems. At age six, we teach them the 206 sexual positions described in various ancient texts. We teach them everything equals everything and they must tolerate and respect and celebrate every conceivable point of view.

It’s a blast.

We fly planes over the country dumping chemtrails, and we put fluorides into every water system, to reduce IQ, increase compliance, and promote bone loss.

Now we’re ready for major media outlets. You know, newspapers and TV news networks that do 24/7 he-said he-said and quotes from experts. Beautiful.

And then we can have free elections with candidates from the two major parties. They grin and lie and run for office and people argue and vote and it doesn’t make any difference.

The war is over, no US troops died, no bullets were fired, no bombs were dropped, and everybody’s happy—depending on your definition of happy.

Every once in a while, when the Afghan people start to come out of their trance, the CIA stages a local massacre and the media go crazy. A demand for greater surveillance is invented.

From the high mountain ranges to the lowlands, we’ve got 100 or 200 million video cameras recording everybody, all phone conversations and emails are monitored, and thousands of drones overhead blanket the country with electronic eyeballs.

The government takes away guns. US guns, black-market guns, old Soviet guns, muskets, and stingers, scooped up and shipped to drug cartels for a handsome profit.

All food crops, all trees, all bushes, all weeds, all grass in the country are GMO. The city of Kabul is renamed Monsanto.

It works, it really does.

Pacification, modern style.

Then, back here at home, the Pentagon can take those assets they no longer need for foreign wars…add them to the present considerable DHS arsenal, and deploy them on the domestic front against the restive population, when necessary.

I hereby give the Smithsonian Institute the right to publish, store, and display my Afghanistan war plan along side other military memorabilia.

Sanity deserves a place in history.
