Portals, Numbers and Falling Doors

I’m not entirely sure what to make of today’s post, but third time’s the charm, so I decided to share some of the strange goings on with portals, energies and falling doors at Faery Hof. The synchronicities have been over the top, as have the recent collective energies, which we are all processing in our own ways. I know David and I are in a period of major shift as we wind up our time in Goshen, and I know these painted portal doors are powerful. They always work, often very fast, and are coded for specific results as well as the highest good of all involved, not just human-centric.

Each door contains a personal prayer, as well as a collective offering. I’ve had some of them for nearly seven years, but I painted most in 2010, during my nine months in my ninth floor tower apartment two blocks from Lake Michigan in Hyde Park, Chicago after my divorce and subsequent return to the Midwest following a nine year stint moving around the most beautiful locations of the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, and Northern and Central California. Yes, lots of nines! Landing in that apartment was its own layered and seemingly destined event. If interested, you can read about my Chicago Moving Story and the Mother Lode of Doors here, but it’s enough to know about the nines and that the apartment I was directly led to by dreams, intuitive instructions and synchronicity just happened to be right under an attic full of doors that had been waiting there for five years per the new building owners’ instructions that their purpose would someday reveal itself.

I recently mentioned how I’m in a nine year on multiple levels of my astrological chart, nine being the number of the Hermit. Nine also features prominently in our address, but I won’t post those details here. In addition to the Hermit, nine is associated with Odin’s nine nights on the tree, as described in Odin’s Rune Song, which details how he hung on “the windswept tree” for “nine full nights,” sacrificing himself to himself until he noticed the Runes scattered below him. From his fasting, solitude and upside down perspective, he suddenly made sense of the Runes, spontaneously understanding them and claiming their wisdom and powerful energy as his own.

Anyway, there’s some background on the doors. They’re powerful, intriguing to visitors and blog readers, and they’ve done their job, usually with powerful synchronicities and changes. Until recently, though, they’ve existed in the background. They haven’t moved of their own accord, and I always considered them symbolic doors, painted spells, and/or energy portals to preferred realities. I don’t know if it’s the potent energies of 2016, the increased energies emanating from my garden, or an amplification of major inner transformation literally moving solid reality, but recently, these doors have begun to move.

On April 19, 2016, in a post called “Sync Winks and Faery Portals,” I shared a bizarre (even for me) experience with Door Number 17 ~ Elen of the Ways. The post itself contains an intertwined series of synchronicities and a strange “fall” down our steps in the wee hours of the morning. It’s long and involved, but to summarize briefly, instead of falling straight down the steps, I somehow pivoted in midair and literally flew into the door to left below:

Faery Door 444.jpg

The door you see to the right is the one in front of our steps. In order to “fly” into the white door — designed as a portal into Faerie, as well as a prayer for “sustainable sovereignty” in our world –I was somehow carried and turned so that I landed by body slamming the door almost as though walking through the doorway, but it was solid. Miraculously, I received no injuries.

I had just been wondering, “Where will we move when we’re finally done our time in Goshen?” I know I’ve got a contract with this land, and David and I had earlier been discussing how I might as well just continue to dive into the gardens here until I’ve completed the transformation. I had forgotten a message from 2014 that I am opening a faery portal here with all the land healing, flowers, trees and sacred work I do on these two yards. Around the same time, I received a vision of David and me as very, very old people, sitting happily by a fire in what feels like Ireland but might be the actual faery realm. This has remained a steady vision of mine for years now, popping up when least expected, but I wasn’t thinking about it at all [that night].

Anyway, after asking that question, I floated/body slammed into a faery door with the address at the top of 444.

I eventually went back to bed, tossing and turning for awhile and then finally sleeping just long enough to awaken at 4:44 a.m., about 21 minutes before David’s alarm was due to go off. Note the address on Door Number 17: 444. You can read the synchronous story of that door’s creation by clicking here, but I didn’t notice the 444 sync wink until several more synchronicities prompted me to take a photo of it to share in [the April 19th post]. If I explain all the synchronicities, including a photo of me from March 2016 and a Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle card, today’s post will never get to the most recent events, so for now, please just note my strange intersection with a 444 door and then happening to look at the clock at 4:44 a.m. as the next clock time I saw:

According to Doreen Virtue’s Angel Numbers 101 book, “444 means that the angels are with you. It’s a comforting reminder from heaven, reassuring you that your prayers have been heard and answered, and that you are being helped, watched over, and protected by God’s angels.” The bottom quote of this 444 door offers Rumi’s quote: “Love says, ‘There is a way. I have traveled it thousands of times.'”

Fast Forward to Summer Solstice 2016, when another door dramatically reaffirmed its presence by toppling over right after I opened our curtains. Note that I did not actually touch the door when I opened the curtains, and I have done that same act without incident for over two years since we first hung those curtains. Door Number 6 ~ Freya and Frigga,Door Number 6 ~ Freya and Frigga, a door featuring goddesses involved with reweaving destiny … a door that originally hijacked my creative process and inserted itself ahead of Door Number 7 ~ The Lovers …this 1111 portal door on which I had been painting the golden sun drop tears when an intuitive voice told me to go join Facebook right then and there, an action that directly led to my meeting and eventually getting together with David after a fractal of absurd and mind boggling synchronicities … this door …

Frigga and Freya

…crashed down of its own accord on Summer Solstice 2016:

Summer Solstice door

Again, no damage to me or the door, but it certainly caught my attention! Tania and I had been texting about intensities happening with her beloved and magical rabbit companion, who was very ill, and we sensed very close to transitioning. The falling portal door seemed like the end of an era, but also the opening on a new one. Joy passed the next day.

In addition to the Full Moon on Solstice and the potency surrounding Joy’s shift, which revealed enormous growth and peace for Tania, I found it interesting that this door crashed down/”broke on through to the OtherSide” right after I had been doing some massive work around a pivotal event in my childhood. Synchronously, my mom’s house –the house where this still not fully understood cosmic, future setting event happened –also sold right at Solstice. The quote on the front of the door reads, “There is always one moment in childhood when the door opens and lets the future in.” ~ Graham Green.

The back of the door, revealed by the fall, features … Odin’s Rune Song! (Yes, all those nines are still at it … and the 1111 door fell at 8:11 or 9:11. I honestly cannot remember which at this time. Either way, we have an 1111 door falling at the 11th minute and if 9:11, then we have another 11 when we add the digits.) The back of the door also has some Hebrew on it, which I don’t recall painting, but which an Orthodox Jewish friend of mine traced to a VERY obscure announcement of liberation. The bottom panel has a chant to the Goddess in her many forms.

Anyway, that was Summer Solstice 2016. I did not feel led to post about that falling door until two nights ago, Door Number 7 ~ The Lovers moved almost of its own accord. I say “almost,” because I did somehow manage to catch a blanket on the door and, tugging it, apparently pulled the door down on top of me while in bed. I have never caught a blanket or pillow before, and I really don’t know how that happened this time, but somehow it did. This is the heaviest of all the doors, so I positioned it so that if it ever did fall, it would not hit my head. I don’t need anymore head injuries! We usually stack extra throw pillows and blankets on the stool next to the door, which you can see below:

Lovers door

Note the 222 address, as well as the fact that this door got a January 2015 update of the red panel that now reads “Gaia” and includes the Celtic symbols “Wheel of Being” and “Destiny Knot” that represent harmony and a reweaving of destiny. The bottom quote reads: “Between God and the soul, there is no between.” ~ Julian of Norwich.

Apparently, between Lovers Door and body, there is also no between, and I’ve got the bruise to prove it:

bruise from the lovers door

As gruesome as that looks, I feel no pain in my arm unless someone really pushes the bruise. Despite my yank of the mysteriously caught blanket, the door seemed to fall in slow motion. I definitely felt it land, as the bruise reveals; however, like other experiences of my life that could have (by all rational accounts should have) resulted in very serious injury, this falling door did not crash anywhere near as hard as it could have. After waking David to help me lift it off me (it did not even make a noise as it “crashed”), I went downstairs to get some homeopathic arnica to take internally along with the external gel I had already applied. The clock downstairs read 2:22. So, here we have a third odd experience with a door, followed by seeing the door’s address echoed in the next glance at a clock.

According to Doreen Virtue’s Angel Numbers 101, angel message of 222 means “Trust that everything is working out exactly as it’s supposed to, with Divine blessings for everyone involved. Let go and have faith.” Um, okay, then! All those things I’ve set in motion and sensed moving behind the scenes — are apparently moving.

Also interesting is that as soon as the door fell and while I waited for David to wake up, I began hearing the mantra painted on the back of the door ~ a mantra invoking “the divine manifestations of the sacred union of masculine and feminine properties.”David and I have been experiencing positive recalibrations of many things in recent months, including a deeper balance and strengthening of the masculine and feminine qualities in ourselves and with each other. I know others — including my faery twin soul sister Tania and her Dave — who have felt the same uptick in mutual creation, focus, support, shared experiences, partnership and manifestation.

As with the story of my first “fall” into the 444 door, followed by seeing 4:44 on the clock and then having over the top synchronicities directly involving and mentioning portal doors, yesterday, David and I just happened to watch “The Adjustment Bureau,” a movie that just happens to feature main character named “David,” major synchronicities, deepening love, and … portal doors!

All I can say is that the doors have my attention. I will continue to take seriously the “Gatekeeper” and “Invitation to Faery” cards I keep pulling from Wild Wisdom of the Faery Oracle, both about portals, and I will continue to listen to the Four of Swords card (need for meditation/retreat) and the Moon (intuition, “stay on your path for safety”) cards I frequently pull from the Tarot. “The Adjustment Bureau” offers a great deal of insight into the concepts of Destiny, path, free will, portals and the ability of Love to alter reality. Plenty to continue pondering in my nine year at Faery Hof, Haus Am See and the gardens.

Happy Full Moon, Blessed Be … and be the blessing!

Garden and Other Updates

What a delightful, intense, tasty and adventurous few weeks we’ve had! Here’s a little photo update of the garden and life this past little while.

Highlights include a visit from my sister and nephews en route to Evanston, IL to visit my brother and sister-in-law and take in a soccer game and Chicago’s sights and Fourth of July fireworks. Erica and the boys stopped here for a few hours for their first time tour of Faery Hof, Haus Am See, and the gardens. I harvested loads of veggies and herbs for “Uncle Craig,” and we all picked raspberries and drank homemade chocolate mint tea. It was a lovely visit, followed by an evening with David’s sister, who was also in town. That week featured our first tomatoes of 2016 and a red white and blue bouquet for David’s mom:

David and I have spent the past three Saturday’s in Michigan — at Silver Beach, St. Joseph’s, Grand Rapids, and Kalamazoo. These locations are one to two hours and a zillion miles away from Northern Indiana. We’ve feasted on Mediterranean and Ethiopian food, ate at a fair wage vegetarian diner, toured multiple farmers markets, metaphysical bookstores, hiked nature trails, strolled along rivers, viewed green walls and city wide murals, walked with our feet in my beloved Lake Michigan and more. “Kids in candy shop” doesn’t even begin to describe our relief to learn such places exist near here. Ultimately, it would be nice just to live in a much more harmonious location, but while we continue to tie up loose ends in Goshen, it’s nice to know we can spend an hour or two in the car and find fab international food, music, nature preserves, and kindred spirits.

My sweet faery twin, Tania Marie, is never far from my heart or phone. As usual, we’ve been on very different yet synchronized adventures. This past Saturday, we even drove behind a facsimile of her “Magick Bus” just as she and I were texting about our intended next phases. We’ve been planning a visit with her Dave and my David at the end of October, which will feature fun in Michigan locales and restaurants:

Magick bus

The prior weekend, we also took a long delayed trip to South Bend to visit our Buddhist/Druid/poet friend Tim, who introduced us to a magickal tree along the river. His tree, in turn (or perhaps the faeries who live in his tree), introduced me to a five to seven tree grove. It was a total power point, and we each received activations in this five tree grove that features two twin trees, and thus carries both five and magical seven energy. David and Tim both felt the temperature change at the spot I indicated. I got drunk on the energy — a joyful and exuberant gift from deep within Gaia’s realm. Here’s Tim’s tree, who acts as Guardian of the Grove:

Magical tree in South Bend

Meanwhile, back at Faery Hof and Haus Am See, the flowers, trees and faeries are making their own magick:

morning gloriesblue bedFront yard early July 2016frontblue bed and giant sunflower

Note the nearly ten foot sunflower — part of the Squirrel Exchange Program. Those little rascals dig up so much of our yard, but they do occasionally plant fancy tulips and giant sunflowers I’ve secretly wanted but neglected to purchase. The garden also provides even through seeming mishaps. Below you can see some coreopsis that wouldn’t fit in David’s mom’s bouquet, along with a branch of the pear tree that got too heavy to bear its fruit. I’ll be making some kind of baked unripe pear dish, and the gorgeous wood of this branch will make a wonderful new magick wand:

Pears, wand and codonopsis

In a world of all possibilities, regardless where we currently reside, this embroidery David found before we moved here says it all, with real live cosmos, too:

Blessed Be

… and continue to be the blessing!

Ann Kreilkamp ~ Do What Is Yours To Do

This post shares an excerpt of Ann Kreilkamp’s extended commentary on various writers’ recent articles, but I love Ann’s riff even more than the articles that inspired it:

The energies are rising. We can feel it all around us. More importantly, we can feel it in ourselves.

Keep going. What is yours to do? Do that, whether it be inside you, in your household, your yard, your block, your neighborhood, your community. It’s YOURS. No one else can do what you came here to do.

But, you whine, “How do I know what I’m supposed to do?”

Here’s how. Do that first thing, the one that nags at you; the one you’ve been putting off as unrealistic and impossible, or just “Too hard; it would upset too many people, too many habits, too many systems. My security, and that of my family, would be at risk. Just can’t.”

Well, then,  so why does it still keep following you around? Just do it. The impossible has a way of morphing into miracle. I know. I’ve been there. At this point, when the momentum for doing that first thing — and it may be infinitesimally small and intensely potent, both! — has ignited your aliveness, then the next thing you’re to do will show itself! Do that, and then the next, on and on. Pay attention to synchronicities, dreams, chance remarks. Yes, pay attention to the miraculous unfolding of your unique life!

Don’t worry about results. Or others’ views of you. Instead, demonstrate, by your own unflinching integrity, your willingness to show up and be counted; demonstrate how, when you do empower yourself, no bogey man will grab you and slit your throat. Or, maybe he will! After all, it’s Halloween time, and zombies are all around us. But YOU ARE NOT A ZOMBIE. Right? Prove it. Prove it to yourself.

If you do not find your voice, and if your voice does not call out it’s intention and act upon it, then there’s a hole in the universe where you’re supposed to be.

Wasp Wisdom

I sent this email to a client yesterday, but it occurred to me that the message could apply for a lot of people, so I’m sharing it here. The email subject line was “also, forgot to tell you this,” and it followed a session in which I learned she had been bitten by an ant while trying to connect with Nature for her healing:

Remember the time before last time, you mentioned wasps having no good purpose, and I was like, “Wasps are awesome! They have female warrior energy, they eat bad bugs, they provide protection for your garden, etc.?” Well, I had the day prior mentioned on my blog, “Wasps welcome,” and immediately after hanging up the phone with you, I happened to glance out at our garage, where some wasps were busy building a nest, right by our garage door. I thought, hmmm, this is not a very good location for a big wasp nest, but I felt like I couldn’t kick them out given the recent invitation and synchronicity of our conversation.

Soooo, I thanked them for hearing the invitation, but then opened and closed the garage door a few times, sending them the message, “Just so you know, this is what this location will involve. If you’re ok with the noise and disruption, you’re welcome to stay, but we will, occasionally need to get in and out of here, especially later in the gardening season when I need my wheelbarrow on a daily basis.” They stayed for awhile, and you could see them conversing.

The next day, they had abandoned the partially made hive. I haven’t found the location anywhere else, but it is likely somewhere close. Anyway, I share that as an illustration that we can attract what we want and then tweak that attraction once it begins to form in reality. It doesn’t need to be a huge rejection or a huge drama. It can just be an “Are you sure? … because here are the implications of this manifestation in this particular way…”

Wasp wisdom is very cool stuff:

Wasp/Hornet/Yellowjacket’s Wisdom Includes:

Use of female warrior energy
Sisterhood
Understanding female societies
Communal living

From http://animalspirits.com, which, FYI, is a great site for interpreting unusual animal sightings or dreams. Ant wisdom is on the same page:

Ant’s Wisdom Includes:

Patience
Stamina
Planning
Energy and patience needed to complete work
Communal living
Storing for the future

(Note the patience!) 😉

Anyway, thought you’d find those interesting …
Blessings and healing on ALL levels,
Laura

April Fools, Fairies and Fruit

Yes, it’s April Fool’s Day, and some people consider that a time for pranks and tricks. The original Fool, however, carried wisdom in his simplicity and humor. In Shakespeare’s time, the Fool spoke truth to the king when no one else dared. In the Tarot, the Fool card marks new adventure, paths unknown and a chance to remake ourselves despite old patterns or struggles. A loyal dog barks to get his attention as he confidently (or obliviously) steps into the abyss.

Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the Fool

Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the Fool

I’ve heard that Aleister Crowley thought of the Fool’s dog as Coyote trickster wisdom, a backwards card, with the Fool magically floating up from the abyss. In this case, the Fool and his mysterious zero would be the last card in the deck instead of the first. I’ve not been able to document that Crowley interpretation, but the idea holds the potential to leave our fear and doubts in the abyss as we levitate toward higher ground. Of course, the Fool card can also indicate “foolishness” or rash behavior, but I often consider the Fool a harbinger of just the right amount of silliness — from the Fae’s Seelieness — to remedy the humdrum, linear slogfest that far too many people consider “real life.” Practical? Uh-uh, but some ideas, decisions and actions are just crazy enough to work.

Abraham’s email message today jumped out as David as one for me. For weeks David has listened to me try to discern which fruit trees to order when, to go in which spots, and can I really believe that if I agree to plant the highly fragrant dwarf lilac tree and 50 lilies, then my “garden muse” will see to it that I won’t have any spring allergies? As my non-faery believing brother said yesterday, “If that works, I want in!”

On this April Fool’s Day, Abraham says:

“Take the worthiness that is yours, and let the ‘Fairies of the Universe’ assist you. Stop taking so much responsibility upon yourself, and live happily ever after. Shorten that crevasse between where you are and where you want to be, on every subject, to now, now, now, now, now. Ride the wave. Just pluck the fruit… You don’t have to be the one who puts it in the ground any more. You can just skip across the top of things and pluck the fruit of all of the things you want. “Oh, fruit. Oh, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this.” In other words, it’s all right there for you; it’s ready for you to receive it as fast and as soon as you will vibrationally let it in.

—Abraham

Excerpted from the workshop: Boston, MA on May 21, 2005

Our Love,
Esther (and Abraham and Jerry)”

In addition to faeries, fruit, and the Fool’s abyss (crevasse), today’s Abraham quote reminds me of my most common “Grace,” which always cracks up David. Shimmering my hands over our food, I excitedly pronounce, “Blessings on our deliciousness!”

Indeed, oh delicious this, delicious this, delicious this, delicious this. Blessings on your deliciousness, too!

Fear or Flowers? Love in the Time of Transmutation

Pick a headline, any headline: WW3, worldwide famine, corporations poisoning all waters, Civil War, global financial collapse, global warming, global Ice Age, “mutually assured destruction” … you name it, we’ve got it. The question is, what do we intend to do with it?

I recently posted at the end of a gardening article: I truly believe all the challenges facing our world today offer opportunities to return to our Divine connection, spiritual tools and natural abilities. Faery tales — great repositories of truth — describe so many situations in which people with pure hearts receive even the most impossible gifts. People say with scorn, “Oh, that’s just a fairy tale, a myth,” in order to dismiss something as ridiculous. I could not disagree more. Our weakness, disconnection and “need” to struggle are the biggest lies ever told. Faery tales, folklore, ballads, and myths — real ones, not Disney — give us clues and wisdom for a return to more magical lives.

If you want to fill your imagination and creative capacity with disastrous details, symbols and images, then plenty of websites, newspapers and media options will help you do just that. If you want to distract yourself while remaining unconsciously committed to the slaughterhouse path, plenty of “reality” TV shows, smart phone app’s, fashion catalogs and gossip rags will help you do just that.

But what if you want to transmute the negativity into something positive? What if you want to imagine something preferable and supercharge your imaginings into form? I wrote an email to a friend this morning with the title “globally curious.” That email included the following excerpt:

I keep seeing this since 2013, but much more so in the past month — service to self and defiantly ignorant or defiantly abusive people are being given a chance to recognize what they’re doing and to choose to correct the mistake in this moment, with no consequences so long as they truly shift. It’s like the universe is saying, “It’s decision time. Are you SURE you want to go down that path? Are you SURE, because this decision really matters.” As in, the decision creates matter.

It always reminds me of the Hopi Prophecy that every living being will be given a choice before the Red Star Kachina, the purifier, comes. Of all the prophecies, that one seems most to be playing out right now. Those who return to the old ways will find Gaia magically transformed through great chaos, but they will be untouched by the chaos themselves. I just feel this happening, and I see it with clients, stories about their relationships, observe online at [various] sites, and even my David has witnessed some absurdly obvious versions of this at work. El Mundo Malo or El Mundo Bueno.

Which do you choose?

Here in Goshen, while we face an uncharacteristically brutal winter, we’ve got unexpected flowers inside. You can see them reaching towards the outside world — offering glimpses of color and beauty in an otherwise white, grey and frozen land:

flowering geraniums

Inside the curtains, we see lush green foliage and just the hint of those red flowers shining possibility to a barren world. We know the flowers exist, so those outside our faery haven receive even more brilliant flashes to remind them of what’s possible. Does anyone from the nearby apartments ever open their blinds to see those flowers? I don’t know, but for now … in the bleakest winter … those flowers will remain in that window offering an alternative:

geraniums

I saw this video on Rumor Mill News the other night, and I loved the video, as well as the comments, included below. Fear or Flowers? Love in the Time of Transmutation. All is possible when we remember who we are and allow love to empower our creations:

“With all the talk of war now, this post is very appropriate. Let’s remember who we are folks, we are all one.

Strangers Are Just Friends Who Haven’t Met Yet

“Touching Strangers, it’s the monograph taken by photographer Richard Renaldi (renaldi.com) that is slated to be released by the Aperture Foundation in Spring of 2014. In creating this work of art, Richard roamed the streets of New York City in search of random strangers that he would publicly bring together for intimate photos. As odd as this may sound, some of the end results revealed in this news story may truly amaze you… ”

“Many of you may have been already familiar with this news story or the work of Richard Renaldi as the video has been circulating the internet for over half a year now. I wanted to quickly share it now to share what parts of it truly stood out for me.

“In this world, especially I find in North America, so many of us have become so accustomed to becoming lost in our own world. We walk the streets of busy downtown cores or suburban shopping malls and we choose to isolate ourselves to our electronic devices or even more prominently the perpetual rush – the walk where any form of eye contact with a stranger is unwanted and desperately avoided. What I loved the most about the work of Richard Renaldi was that with each set of strangers that he brought together he directly challenged what so many of us define as comfortable. Even though many verbal and body cues initially showed a level of discomfort and/or nervousness for many involved, this not only quickly faded but never seemed to impact the genuineness of the captured picture.

“For me, this reminded me of the incredible interconnectedness that we all share with one another on the planet. I truly believe that as different as we may be, we all carry within us the ability to connect and be comfortable with even the most intimidating of “strangers.” Be sure to check out and stay posted to Richard’s website for more information on Touching Strangers once it is released. In the meantime be sure to share the video, which the news reporter summed up perfectly when he said,

…He shows us humanity as it could be, as most of us wish it would be, and as it was at least for this one fleeting moment in time. [Source]”

Another reader submitted this comment, with subject line, “This is so cool!”

“Hi, everyone, this is where we are actually going. I’ve been living in a neighborhood for over 3 years and have only met three people in the neighborhood. My next door neighbor and I share lawn mowing and snow duties. My other next door neighbor is rarely seen and even though I have cleared snow from his walk, in three years he has never done mine.

“This is the America most of experience in these times. If the SHTF tomorrow, we will either turn to each other or run the risk of perishing alone in our homes when the guy next door has a hydroponic farm in his basement that would feed everyone on the block. Get my drift?

“We have to travel in this direction (of making new friends often) even while recognizing that we are living the way the cabal have designed for us. And that should make us angry. Angry enough to shake hands with a stranger?

“Best regards, everyone
CapnGriff”

I know this world looks bleak to the logical mind, but what about to the human heart? What about to the artist’s inner eye? What about the potential for love and beauty? I had a dream the other week, and at the very end of the dream, someone handed me a lotus blossoming from the mud. As I accepted this lotus into my own hands the alarm beeped, anchoring that vision in my imagination. When I opened my eyes, I saw a pink rectangle of light hovering above my crystals — with no external source of that light. It lasted only a moment, but again, that rosy rectangle has anchored itself in my imagination as a window into a rosier world.

As Jon Rappoport reminds us:

“Many wonderful things can be done with logic. Don’t leave home without it. Don’t analyze information without it.

“But art and imagination are of another universe(s). They can deploy logic, but they can also invent in any direction without limit, and they can embrace contradiction. They can build worlds in which space and time and energy are quite different.

“Magic is nothing more and nothing less than imagination superseding this universe. Magic occurs when imagination takes this reality for a ride.”

How to Make Sure You’re Not Practicing Black Magic(k) By Accident

I’m not linking to the site where this comment appeared, because I do not wish to drop the referenced image anymore into the collective awareness than it already is. Nor do I wish to call out someone whom I know harbors no ill intent. I don’t know if my comment will see the light of day or not, but the concept bears mentioning:

Raven:

“This artist is doing a really fine job of providing endless mental images of what we do not want to happen. Why do you keep posting them? When people carry these images in their mind they create that reality. This isn’t waking up, it’s creating doom.”

[followed by a couple disbelieving/scoffing comments from others]

My response (currently awaiting moderation):

Raven is absolutely right in her comment on the ___ article. Anytime someone uses creativity to produce an extremely negative-oriented vision, especially via artwork and visual symbols, they are actually practicing the black magic(k) so many of you fear from the “Illuminati.”

That’s exactly what they do in Hollywood, in the mass televised rituals, etc. Jon Rappoport has written about the power of art, and it works both ways. We can use our creative powers to paint portals to more positive realities, to reclaim symbols or energies for our own preferred intentions … or we can (whether consciously or not) create spells via symbols and/or words that usher in the doom in far more powerful ways than the Illuminati/archons, etc. can do on their own. They cannot, by themselves, create. They use humanity’s imagination and power to create.

Just an FYI. It’s one reason I keep suggesting that people study metaphysics and magic(k). When you know how this stuff works, you become extremely careful not to do someone else’s black magic(k) and creating for them. Imagination and art are the most powerful forces in the universe. They can be fueled by love, hate or confusion. Love is powerful, but, contrary to the Beatles song, love is not “all you need.” Imagination creates and thus deserves extreme respect if we do not wish to mis-create.

I know you and the artist aren’t intentionally practicing black magic(k), but tapping into creative inspiration and imagination and then focusing those intently into a negative or harmful reality/form is actually the very definition of black magic(k).

Update: please see comments below for an important distinction between Shadow Work and black magick.
