GAME OVER: GMO science fraud shattered by stunning investigative book worthy of Nobel Prize – Altered Genes, Twisted Truth

By Mike Adams

(NaturalNews) The science fraud game is over for the biotech mafia. After years of running its corporate con that pushed dangerous poisons into the food supply and the fragile environment, the biotech industry’s lies are now exposed and meticulously deconstructed in an exhaustively researched new book launching March 20.

The title of the book? Altered Genes, Twisted Truth – How the Venture to Genetically Engineer Our Food Has Subverted Science, Corrupted Government, and Systematically Deceived the Public by Steven Druker.

The Foreward of the book was authored by one of the most celebrated living scientists in the world: Jane Goodall, PhD, DBE and UN Messenger of Peace. The derogatory “anti-science” slur used by biotech operatives (such as discredited biotech shill Jon Entine) against other scientists won’t work against Jane Goodall. Her legacy of science is irrefutably extraordinary, and she has received more science awards and accolades than almost any other scientist living today.

What does Jane Goodall have to say about the total science fraud of GMOs and the corrupt biotech industry?

In her own words, Altered Genes, Twisted Truth is “without doubt one of the most important books of the last 50 years.”

She goes on to reveal the stunning truth about the outright corruption, fraud and disinformation that now characterizes the biotech industry and the collusion of the FDA:

Altered Genes, Twisted Truth is the most chilling thing I’ve ever read. It’s about the huge conspiracy by the big companies who do genetic modification to keep the public from knowing the truth, to subvert the course of justice.

[GMOs are a] shocking corruption of the life forms of the planet.

…the huge conspiracy by the big companies who do genetic modification to keep the public from knowing the truth, to subvert the course of justice.

…the general public and government decision makers have been hoodwinked by the clever and methodical twisting of the facts and the propagation of many myths.

…a number of respected scientific institutions, as well as many eminent scientists, were complicit in this relentless spreading of disinformation.

Steven Druker is a hero. He deserves at least a Nobel Prize.

…the commercialization of GE foods occurred through the unbelievably poor judgment — if not downright corruption — of the US Food and Drug Administration (the FDA)… it apparently ignored (and covered up) the concerns of its own scientists and then violated a federal statute and its own regulations by permitting GE foods to be marketed without any testing whatsoever.

The evidence further shows how the agency assured consumers that GE foods are just as safe as naturally produced ones — and that their safety has been confirmed by solid scientific evidence — despite the fact it knew that no such evidence existed.

…it was this fraud that truly enabled the GE food venture to take off. And he asserts that the fraud continues to deceive the public and Congress, despite the fact that the lawsuit he initiated thoroughly exposed it.

…the mainstream media have been highly selective in what they report — and have consistently failed to convey information that would cause concern about these engineered products. Moreover, Druker demonstrates that the policies imposed by the media magnates have been, in his words, ‘not merely selective, but suppressive.’

…he relates several dramatic incidents in which journalists who tried to bring unsettling facts to light had their stories altered or totally quashed by higher level executives.

…it appears that such publications are downright deceptive, not only portraying genetic engineering in a misleading manner, but even misrepresenting some basic features of biology.

…even if these products did not entail higher risks, it’s doubtful they could significantly reduce malnutrition or solve any major problems of agriculture.

Additional quotes about the book from other scientists

“Steven Druker has written one of the few books I have encountered, in my many years of public interest work, with the capacity to drive major change in a major issue. What Ralph Nader’s Unsafe at Any Speed was to the auto industry and what Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring was to synthetic pesticides, Altered Genes, Twisted Truth will be to genetically engineered food. It is profoundly penetrating, illuminating, and compelling, and it could stimulate a monumental and beneficial shift in our system of food production.” — Joan Levin, JD, MPH

“Altered Genes, Twisted Truth is a remarkable work that may well change the public conversation on one of the most important issues of our day. If the numerous revelations it contains become widely known, the arguments being used to defend genetically engineered foods will be untenable.” — Frederick Kirschenmann, Phd Distinguished Fellow, Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Iowa State University, Author of Cultivating an Ecological Conscience

“Druker’s brilliant exposé catches the promoters of GE food red-handed: falsifying data, corrupting regulators, lying to Congress. He thoroughly demonstrates how distortions and deceptions have been piled one on top of another, year after year, producing a global industry that teeters on a foundation of fraud and denial. This book is sure to send shock waves around the world.” — Jeffrey M. Smith, international bestselling author of Seeds of Deception & Genetic Roulette

“Altered Genes, Twisted Truth is very readable, thorough, logical and thought-provoking. Steven Druker exposes shenanigans employed to promote genetic engineering that will surprise even those who have followed the ag-biotech industry closely for years. I strongly recommend his book.” — Belinda Martineau, Ph.D., a co-developer of the first genetically engineered whole food and author of First Fruit: The Creation of the Flavr Savr Tomato and the Birth of Biotech Foods

“Altered Genes, Twisted Truth reveals how the inception of molecular biotechnology ignited a battle between those committed to scientific accuracy and the public interest and those who saw genetic engineering’s commercial potential. Steven Druker’s meticulously researched book pieces together the deeply disturbing and tremendously important history of the intertwined science and politics of GMOs. Understanding this ongoing struggle is a key to understanding science in the modern world.” — Allison Wilson, PhD molecular geneticist, Science Director, The Bioscience Resource Project

Steven Druker’s investigation into the history of fraud and deceipt that ushered in the era of GMOs deserves serious consideration before we take actions that will irreversibly alter the European food supply.” — Pat Thomas of Beyond GM

Through its masterful marshalling of facts, it dispels the cloud of disinformation that has misled people into believing that GE foods have been adequately tested and don’t entail abnormal risk.” –David Schubert, Ph.D. molecular biologist and Head of Cellular Neurobiology, Salk Institute for Biological Studies

“As a former New York City prosecutor, I was shocked to discover how the FDA illegally exempted GE foods from the rigorous testing mandated by federal statute. And as the mother of three young kids, I was outraged to learn how America’s children are being callously exposed to experimental foods that were deemed abnormally risky by the FDA’s own experts.” — Tara-Cook Littman, J.D.

“The evidence is comprehensive, clear, and compelling; and its credibility is irrefutable. No one has documented other cases of irresponsible behavior by government regulators and the scientific establishment nearly as well as Druker documents this one. His book should be widely read and thoroughly heeded.” — John Ikerd, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus of Agricultural and Applied Economics, University of Missouri — Columbia

“Altered Genes, Twisted Truth will stand as a landmark. It should be required reading in every university biology course.” — Joseph Cummins, Ph.D. Professor Emeritus of Genetics, Western University, London, Ontario

“Steven Druker’s meticulously documented, well-crafted, and spellbinding narrative should serve as a clarion call to all of us. In particular, his chapter detailing the deadly epidemic of 1989-90 that was linked with a genetically engineered food supplement is especially significant. I and my Mayo Clinic colleagues were active participants in the attempt to identify the cause of this epidemic. Druker provides a comprehensive analysis of all the evidence and also presents new findings from our work. Overall his discussion of this tragic event, as well as its ominous implications, is the most comprehensive, evenly balanced and accurate account that I have read.” — Stephen Naylor, PhD CEO and Chairman of MaiHealth Inc., Professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, & Pharmacology Mayo Clinic (1991-2001)

“Based on over 30 years of teaching computer science at universities and on extensive experience as a programmer in private industry, I can state that Steven Druker has done an excellent job of demonstrating the recklessness of the current practices of genetic engineering in comparison to the established practices of software engineering. His book presents a striking contrast between the two fields, showing how software engineers progressively developed greater awareness of the inherent risks of altering complex information systems – and accordingly developed more rigorous procedures for managing them – while genetic technicians have largely failed to do either, despite the fact that the information systems they alter are far more complex, and far less comprehended, than any human-made system.” — Ralph Bunker, PhD

Publisher’s description

This book uncovers the biggest scientific fraud of our age. It tells the fascinating and frequently astounding story of how the massive enterprise to restructure the genetic core of the world’s food supply came into being, how it advanced by consistently violating the protocols of science, and how for more than three decades, hundreds of eminent biologists and esteemed institutions have systematically contorted the truth in order to conceal the unique risks of its products–and get them onto our dinner plates.

Altered Genes, Twisted Truth provides a graphic account of how this elaborate fraud was crafted and how it not only deceived the general public, but Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Barack Obama and a host of other astute and influential individuals as well. The book also exposes how the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was induced to become a key accomplice — and how it has broken the law and repeatedly lied in order to usher genetically engineered foods onto the market without the safety testing that’s required by federal statute. As a result, for fifteen years America’s families have been regularly ingesting a group of novel products that the FDA’s own scientific staff had previously determined to be unduly hazardous to human health.

By the time this gripping story comes to a close, it will be clear that the degradation of science it documents has not only been unsavory but unprecedented–and that in no other instance have so many scientists so seriously subverted the standards they were trained to uphold, misled so many people, and imposed such magnitude of risk on both human health and the health of the environment.

The Positive Power of Money

May 9, 2014, at 3 p.m., but Operation Monsanto Stock Plunge already began working yesterday just following the original announcement! Details here. “Do you want to be the last person owning Monsanto stock?” Stick it to ’em.

Boycott their foods. Boycott their products. Boycott their seeds. And if you own mutual funds, pull your money from biotech stocks. If the Supreme Court wants to affirm that only money matters in politics and policy, then fine, we can play the money game, too.

Where can you safely spend your money? Try organic farmers’ markets, small heritage seed companies committed to seed purity, and click here for a list of 400 companies who don’t use GMO’s.

RT Exposes Eugenics Agenda: Governments, Nestle, Monsanto …

A note here, too, that with permaculture regreening the deserts, plus the release of suppressed, renewable energy technology already in existence, there’s no overpopulation problem. The problem is the corporations pursuing a not-even-secret eugenics agenda to kill off everyone but themselves. Other solutions exist — solutions that repair the Earth, heal the soil, and heal the soul. The transnational corporations just aren’t interested in them. We can demand such things, though. We can create and demonstrate other available options. Perhaps then, the true psychosis running amok will be seen for what it really is: psychopathic tendencies that need treatment, not promotion.

The Scarecrow and the Story Behind Chipotle’s New Ad

Most people have seen this haunting, disturbing and heart-grabbing new ad from Chipotle, which has positioned itself as the first fast food company to reject GMO’s:

I love that this natural project has Fiona Apple singing “Pure Imagination.” Thanks to Mitch for finding the story behind the making of this short film. You can find that by clicking here. I’m sending all sorts of energy and intentions that Chipotle makes a huge success of this fresh, real food stance. Spread the word! I love supporting companies making a positive difference.

Syria, Obama, GMO’s and Banksters

Some things you may or may not know about Syria, Obama, GMO’s and the Banksters:

In October 2012, Syria’s President Assad banned GMO’s in food “to preserve the health of human beings, animals, vegetables and the environment.”

Contrast this to the Monsanto Protection Act that Congress and Obama approved, even after scientific studies proved the cancerous and other illness causing effects of GMO’s. Contrast this also to the next generation of GMO approval — seeds genetically engineered to withstand even more toxic herbicide and insecticidal sprays, crops “designed to work with dicamba (a developmental or reproductive toxin), isoxaflutole (a carcinogen), and 2,4-D, which was one of the two chemicals that made up Agent Orange, the toxic defoliant the U.S. sprayed in Vietnam.” And again, contrast Syria’s GMO ban with the secret TPP trade agreement pushed by the Obama Administration — an agreement that Congress has been denied access to see, though leaked documents reveal that (among other things) the TPP threatens to remove nations’ ability to ban GMO ingredients or assert food quality control standards.

Recently, at least 22 children died after eating insecticide tainted GMO tainted free meals in India.

According to Nation of Change:

“Jeffrey Smith from the Institute for Responsible Technology explains exactly how Monsanto’s genetically modified corn is toxic to humans, according to a new French study from the University of Caen. In the stunning audio below, Smith details how this corn is designed to rupture the stomach of insects and what it did to the stomachs of humans during this study.

“At the very same time President Obama continues to allow his appointees, Michael Taylor, in charge of food safety at the FDA, and Tom Vilsack, Secretary of Agriculture, to maintain GMOs are safe, the White House holds events to ‘inform’ and ‘educate’ parents about healthy school lunches for children.”

The Al Qaeda rebels the US supports in Syria admitted that the gas attack that tragically poisoned children in Syria was a result of their own mishandling of weapons given to them by Saudi Arabia.

Despite vocal opposition by 90+% of Americans, including the military, Obama — along with McCain, Boehner, and Graham (and others) — demands to launch an all out war on Syria for Assad (and the non-rebels) supposedly poisoning children with the gas that the rebels freely admit they mishandled.

Syria has a key pipeline that could potentially have extreme implications for freeing European nations and India from the “elite’s” energy/gas companies. Iraq, Iran and Syria recently signed a $10 billion gas deal.

Syria owes no money to the IMF (International Monetary Fund) and has no Rothschild Central Bank. (Neither did Libya until the illegal war there.) The IMF, Bank of International Settlements (BIS) and Rothschild Banks are the primary cause of the absurd amount of US debt and the collapsing economy around the world. They are also among the key war profiteers who financially and politically benefit by backing both sides of every war. The illegal Federal Reserve is a Rothschild institution.

“Who controls the food supply controls the people; who controls the energy can control whole continents; who controls money can control the world.” ~Henry Kissinger

Definition of fascism according to Dictionary.com: “a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.”

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,” Charles Dickens observed in his “A Tale of Two Cities” — a story of London and Paris before and during the French Revolution. We could say the same thing today. Keep praying, keep intending, and keep your eyes on the prize. We’ve got a beautiful world in the offering if we can blast past this GMO, gangster-bankster, power madness.

Two Questions for Doctors — And Congress

I sent this as a private email to my dad today, since he’s needing to evaluate some recommended treatments. Even with my own dad, I am not diagnosing or prescribing — just encouraging him to keep his eyes, ears and Spidey senses open. I thought my comments were worth sharing here, too, with a little addendum at the end:

On the rare occasions I was allowed into one of [my very health-challenged ex’s] doctor’s appointments, I would invariably ask two questions after the doctors had had their say:

1) If this were you, would you pursue this same diagnosis and treatment?

2) If this were your spouse, would you pursue this same diagnosis and course of treatment?

The squirming, lack of eye contact and question dodging were usually quite telling. Every once in awhile, a doctor would look me in the eye and say, “Well, if it were me, I would get acupuncture” or “Well, if it were my spouse, I would do what YOU are suggesting, but I’m not allowed to suggest that to a patient.” Usually, they would just mumble about how those questions were completely irrelevant.

On the contrary, I found the questions ever so instructional! If someone answered yes, I would ask them to tell me why they would choose this particular treatment or diagnosis over all the others available, making sure to ask them if they knew of the variety of other options and how much they had studied those other areas to see if they actually knew what they were talking about.

Not surprisingly, I was usually not allowed in my [then husband’s] appointments, but I was always very polite. 🙂 At least one doctor in Reno and one in Monterey changed their definitions of and treatment of Lyme Disease based in large part on our conversations. One doctor in San Francisco admitted to me that he would not pursue traditional medicine at all and in fact, only uses TCM/acupuncture for his own and his wife’s health issues. I understand that a large percentage of surveyed oncologists would refuse chemo themselves.

Anyway … in your decisions you might want to ask your various doctors recommending certain courses of action what they would choose for themselves as well as for their spouses. Then watch their body language, listen to tone of voice and see if they make eye contact if they’re still trying to sell a particular item –because, unfortunately, sales are a factor. Chemo drugs are very, very expensive, and many doctors get major kickbacks in terms of bonuses, grants, and other perks based on what level of drugs they prescribe. This is not me being paranoid. It’s quite well-documented if you look for the information. I also heard it straight from the pharmaceutical rep’s mouths when I knew sales people from Merck and straight from the MD’s at the Lyme conference I spoke at in January 2011.

Cancer and drugs are big, big business.

Along the same line of questioning, one might ask Congress if they would engage in the same “care” offered in the body-sovereignty crushing “Affordable” “Care” Act. Of course, they have kindly saved us the trouble of asking that question by quietly exempting themselves from Obamacare. The IRS — who will be enforcing this “health” “care” is arguing for an exemption, too. Sometimes silence is deafening, even in a torrent of rhetoric and sales pitches. Sometimes hypocrisy screams so loud you wonder how the whole world isn’t suffering from tinnitus!

Whenever anyone — doctor, priest, armed FDA agent, mandatory vaccine pusher, or Congressional critter — insists he or she knows what’s best for you and your body, take a moment to ask if he or she would willingly accept the route they want to impose on you. Maybe they will, but often they won’t.

Even if they would follow the imposing protocol, that still doesn’t mean they know what’s best for you. It might just mean they’re stupid, brainwashed or mis-educated. When I spoke with some lovely state representatives in Wisconsin back in 2011, they didn’t even know what a GMO was, and they thought people who wanted to drink raw milk would be buying it from factory farms! Um, ewwwwww! No crossover market there: it’s vegan or organic raw dairy from small farms. I gave them a little education of my own, all about accepted pus levels, factory farm conditions, antibiotics and Frankenfoods. Let’s just say, many of them pushed away their snacks during the course of our conversation. I don’t know if it ultimately changed their votes, though. Lobbies work hard for their corporate money, providing free “education” and perks to lawmakers, just like BigPharma reps do for doctors … just like all those Rockefeller grant regulations do for Med Schools.

Personally, I trust myself and my own body’s wisdom far more than a corporation, government or system that only profits from me being sick, weak and too brainwashed to fight back. There’s a time and a place for everything, including Western Medicine. I just personally do my best to ensure that I’m far, far away from that time and place.

And Now for Some Good News!

The positive transformation of our world isn’t finished, but change is occurring, bit by important and inspirational bit. Below you’ll find two cool things I’ve seen this week:

1) Finally, a Billboard That Creates Drinkable Water Out of Thin Air:

2) A note from and video interview of author Jim Gerritsen, President of the Organic Seed Growers and Trade Association:

Dear Friends Attending the Justice Begins with Seeds Conference,

The demands of our farming in Maine prevent me from being with you today. We do join you in the belief that justice is necessary for lasting change, most especially as it relates to seed.

We make our living growing organic seed. We have been farming organically on our Wood Prairie Farm in Maine for 37 years. We live and follow the belief that everyone in the organic community has an obligation to help grow and protect our community.

I would like to update you on two important recent developments which I am involved with.

I serve as President of the national membership organization, OSGATA – the Organic Seed Growers and Trade Association. We are lead Plaintiff in OSGATA et al v. Monsanto, a landmark federal lawsuit filed in March 2011 which challenges the validity of Monsanto’s transgenic seed patents and seeks Court protection for family farmers who through no fault of their own may become contaminated by Monsanto’s patented seed technology and then – perversely – be accused of patent infringement. Monsanto has sought to deny our access to the Court by asserting legal arguments that we lack standing. We have not yet been given the opportunity to present our lawsuit’s legal arguments. We feel we have a strong case.

In June, the US Court of Appeals in Washington DC, issued a complicated ruling on our Appeal of Dismissal. The three-judge Appeals Court upheld dismissal of OSGATA v Monsanto. However, the ruling provided a significant partial victory for us, when the Court ordered Monsanto, through estoppal, to NOT sue farmers for patent infringement should they encounter trace GE contamination. The estoppel protects EVERY farmer in the United States – not just those in our Plaintiff group.

So American farmers for the first time in history have gained a new critical legal protection. As a result, farmers now may choose to sue Monsanto to recover damages in a contamination incident without the fear of being inflicted with a counter suit asserting patent infringement.

The second update I want to provide is about Right-to-Know GMO labeling in New England. California Prop 37 laid an important foundation which New England has built upon. Connecticut passed the nation’s first Right-to-Know GMO Label law in June. Maine followed in short order. We expect Vermont to pass their GMO label law next January and after that, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

In Maine, we built a successful coalition of Tea Party Republicans and Democrats to pass our GMO label bill. A statewide poll showed 91% of Mainers favored passing a GMO label law. Out of our legislative body of 186 members, we had 123 co-sponsors to our bill. Maine’s effective grassroots campaign resulted in significant tallies. In the end the Maine House voted for passage 141-4 and the Maine Senate 35-0. Our Tea Party Governor Paul LePage has promised he will sign the bill into law when the Legislature reconvenes in January.

When it comes to fighting GE crops there is work ahead of us. But we have momentum on our side and that fact will help you pass Washington’s I-522 initiative.

P.S. The link below is a recent video interview (5:50) taken on our farm which provides background about our OSGATA et al v Monsanto lawsuit.

Jim Gerritsen Interview, Maine 13 June 2013 from Mathieu Asselin on Vimeo.

“Ever since the commercial introduction of its Genetically Modified Seeds in 1996, Monsanto has launched intense persecution against hundreds of farmers and seed dealers in the US and Canada alone, blaming patent infringement of their GMO seeds in what seems to be their drive for a complete control of crops.

Like Jim Gerritsen and his family, hundreds of farmers, organizations, activists and citizens around the world are fighting Monsanto Corporation policies every day.
They work to ensure the rights of consumers and to hold corporations accountable for their actions.
As consumers, our every day choices are the best weapons we have.”

Teen GMO Activist Destroys Elite Shill Who Tries to Bully Her

Thanks, Lucas!

What a beautiful, articulate, free thinking young woman. Rachel Parent rocks! It’s so refreshing to see young people who haven’t been GMO’d and brainwashed into acquiescence. The interviewer is so clearly spouting the (Monsanto) company lines, but she just demolishes his arguments, point by point, rationally, and maturely. What an advertisement for clean eating, strong research and clear thinking! I would still love to see all GMOs banned rather than simply labeled, due to the uncontrollable drift of perverted seeds, but as more and more people protest GMOs, evil corporations like Monsanto lose power.

What cracks me up is that this Kevin O’Leary identifies that “Rachel we are in a long term study. You are eating Genetically Modified Foods whether you like it or not… and we have been for decades.” He is totally fine that “we are the lab rats.” And I quote. No blinking, no inner assessment of whether or not he or others gave permission to be experimented on … For Kevin O’Leary, we all just need to accept that we’re lab rats, and we’re freaky or murderously inclined if we do otherwise. Thank God/dess we’ve got young people refusing the genetically engineered, and FD&C dyed Kool-Aid!

Survey: only 15% of farmers would eat GMO food

Oh, Jon, thank you for shining light where the sun don’t often shine …

Survey: only 15% of farmers would eat GMO food

by Jon Rappoport

July 25, 2013

http://www.nomorefakenews.com

The British survey was funded by Barclays Bank and done in collaboration with Farmers Weekly.

Only 15% of farmers polled said they would eat GMO food. Talk about a blanket rejection. It can’t get much clearer than that.

Obviously, these backward farmers want to protect their own health. Who ever heard of such a thing! How dare they! They’re supposed to follow the party line. They’re supposed to say, “Yum yum, give me some GM.”

Well, funny things happen when people consider their own bodies. They tell you what they really think.

You see, 61% of the farmers said they’d grow GMO crops “if they had the opportunity.” In other words, they’d willingly endanger other people’s health, but not their own.

“Just business, nothing personal.”

Reminds me of the idea of sending government officials who declare war into the field with weapons.

“No, I said the war was necessary. I didn’t say I’d risk my own life out there with all those crazies running around. Besides, I suffer from migraines and my doctor told me I have to avoid stress.”

Or: “Everybody is hereby ordered to go on the Obamacare plan. Except those of us in the Congress who have our own plan.”

The farmers survey should have included the following questions, for the 61% of farmers who said they’d grow GMO crops if given the chance:

“Would you eat what you sell every day of your life?”

“And if not, what is wrong with you?”

On a related note, we have this from Mike Adams at Natural News: “Polls were taken by accomplished scientists at the McGill Cancer Center from 118 doctors who are all experts on cancer. They asked the doctors to imagine they had cancer and to choose from six different ‘experimental’ therapies. These doctors not only denied chemo choices, but they said they wouldn’t allow their family members to go through the process either!”

Oh, and lest I forget, we have the famous vaccine proponent, Dr. Paul Offit, who said babies can handle “10,000 vaccines at once.” Well, since babies have only partially developed immune systems and Offit is an adult, I’d be willing to take a crash course in how to give an injection and pop Offit with 10,000 vaccines, as a test. Why not? What could go wrong?

And while I’m at it—all those clinical trials of new drugs using volunteers who don’t have a clue about what they’re getting into? Seems only fair to include the researchers who developed the drugs and other doctors and pharmaceutical execs as volunteers in the trials. In fact, they should be first in line. If they fall over dead or develop life-threatening conditions, then everyone else will know there’s a slight problem.

Moving along, if the government is spying on all of us, for our own good, and in order to protect the country, then we should spy on them for the same reasons. Let them experience their own programs up close and personal. Long ago, when funding for NSA started to accelerate into the wild blue yonder, the Congress should have offered themselves up on a platter, to set a good example.

“You boys know our phone numbers, email addresses, and where we live and play. So please, spy on us 24/7, because we’re about to let you do it to all Americans.”

No? Am I missing something here? Don’t government officials endanger the nation? Haven’t they already proved that over and over? Shouldn’t they be watched carefully, as you would watch wild animals in a zoo?

The examples keep multiplying, don’t they? Oil spills, radiation leaks from nuclear reactors. Why aren’t the heads of companies and governments involved, who are telling us it’s all okay…why aren’t they living close to the reactors and seas where it’s “so safe?” What could give us greater assurance and peace of mind?

Just trying to be helpful.

What if certain government officials, who’ve been praising programs to fund the resurgence of inner cities, had to live in St. Louis and Detroit and experience the results/non-results of the federal programs?

What if conservative legislators, who’ve never met a big corporation they didn’t love, lived on farms where Monsanto’s vaunted Roundup Ready tech isn’t working at all, and the farmers have to do burn-downs, using far more toxic herbicides, to destroy the superweeds that are thriving and taking over the land?

If you’re a president with a Nobel Peace Prize in your pocket, and you’re ordering drone strikes, wouldn’t you benefit from actually being there and seeing the explosions on the ground and the bodies?

At least the British farmers are being honest. Only 15% would eat GMO food.

One of Jon’s best, imho. He’s a modern day Jonathan Swift with his own “Modest Proposal.”

Why didn’t the US just attack Afghanistan with Monsanto GMOs?

By Jon Rappoport

May 1, 2013

http://www.nomorefakenews.com

It would have been so simple. Flood Afghanistan with Monsanto GMOs. Truckloads of seeds. Tanks full of Roundup herbicide. Result? Nutritionally deficient food crops, chronic disease, poisoning with Roundup. Perfect.

And we know how to do it, because we’ve been doing it to ourselves for almost 20 years. We’ve got it down.

GMO ballot labeling initiatives in Afghanistan? Are you kidding?

Plus…and this is a big winner, Monsanto scientists could have developed a GMO poppy seed. Throw those babies in the growing fields and you’d have gotten some Franken-opium variety. Wildly unpredictable effects. And sprayed with Roundup? Junkies all over the world would rather go cold turkey than shoot that stuff.

Actually, I had a comprehensive plan for closing out the war. It would have worked like a charm. Somehow, the Pentagon wasn’t interested. Now it’s just an historical oddity, a could-have-been. Some day, scholars might cite it in their assessments of US efforts in that far-flung region.

For posterity’s sake, read it. And weep, you Pentagon fools.

Pull all the troops out. Everybody knows we’d have to stay there forever. Kill Taliban, they hide, we leave, they come back. Why go up against that? Just vacate the country.

Then…put a winner of a plan into effect. Something that actually makes sense.

Start easy. From hundreds of planes, drop fast food all over Afghanistan. Burgers. Fishsticks. McMuffins. Legs, breasts, wings. It’s a good intro. Lightens everybody up a little. Two weeks of chicken done right.

Then, from those same planes—candy. Fifty thousand tons of gum drops, jelly beans, Almond Joy, Reese. Hell, Reese all by itself is unstoppable.

Sugar! You’re telling me people can resist sugar? They’ll be scooping that stuff up off the frozen ground. In high mountain areas, tribes live on lichen cooked over yak turds. All of a sudden, here come 20 colors of jelly beans out of the sky!

Give them enough sugar, and they’ll be running in circles one minute and lying back and napping the next. It’s a law of biology.

A month of heavenly candy.

Then next, a million cases of various diet sodas dumped out of our planes. Aspartame! Weird those dudes out. Three months of diet-everything. They won’t be able to find their way back to their yurts. They’ll be bumping into rocks and trees, howling at the moon.

Now comes the heavy action. Carpet bomb the whole country with little TV sets. And beam in soaps, Judge Judy, Rachel Ray, Dave and Jay, Oprah, Little House on the Prairie reruns, Law and Order, CSI, and wait for it—sports! Soccer, and, you guessed it, women’s beach volleyball! Amazons wearing almost nothing running on sand, hour after hour!

“Hey, Ahmed, it’s time for the Friday night tribe meeting.”

“Shh! Beach volleyball! Then Victoria and Billy just adopted a baby. She can’t have kids. Billy paid two million for a little girl. But it’s actually Daisy’s baby. Nobody knows it!”

The fabric of Afghan society comes apart at the seams.

US planes fly over with a few million cases of Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, and Ritalin. Open the bomb-bay doors. Drop those suckers right down the slot. And tranqs! Valium! Old stocks of Librium.

On the ground, pills and capsules everywhere. You can’t walk by without picking a few up and swallowing them. It’s another law of nature.

So after a few more months, you’ve got the whole country hooked on meds. They’re weaving and wobbling and gnashing their teeth, when they aren’t completely zoned. A suicide problem begins to develop.

And finally, out of those blessed US planes comes the coup de grace. A few million computers. Wireless. Afghanistan is online, which means—that’s right—porn! Porn and gambling!

This, in a matter of, oh, six months, will totally destroy the Afghan culture, such as it is. You see, my friends, we’ve got weapons we didn’t know we had. Real weapons!

So we let all this simmer for a while. We let things take their natural course. We’re out of there. Not a single US casualty is being sustained.

And then, just to make sure we have the entire country enveloped and warped beyond repair, the CIA begins to broadcast, through all those TV sets and computers—take a deep breath—ready?—the AFGHAN HOME SHOPPING NETWORK!

Boom!

Oh yes, my friends, where there’s a will, there’s a way. Don’t bother bringing up the fact that the Afghan people don’t have money. They’ll find money! They’ll sell each other if they have to! They’ll pawn their yaks and rifles and take out second mortgages on their shacks and huts and yurts.

The Afghan Home Shopping Network won’t be denied. Shampoos, soap on a string, Kleenex, shower caps, earrings, toe rings, rugs, couches, square-dance instruction CDs, kitchen knives, scarves, fans, belts, undies, shoes, pet food, bird houses, pot holders, battery operated hair dryers, perfume, books on tape, storage containers, stockings, lipstick, eye shadow, bathrobes, self-improvement tapes, bracelets…

Victory.

Absolute conquest.

And not a shot fired.

And when the population begins to develop all sorts of serious symptoms from this campaign, as they surely will, we send in the doctors and the shrinks, and they diagnose! They diagnose diseases and illnesses and disorders from here to Sunday, and they prescribe more (toxic) drugs.

It’s a party.

We do to the Afghans what has been done to us.

Because you see, that’s the pattern. We know it intimately, because we’ve bought into it ourselves.

We’re already that kind of society. Who better to impose it on another population?

And when the people of Afghanistan are softened up, poisoned, and wrecked, we bring in the US public education system and install it. That way we pick up the few remaining holdouts, the kids who have this crazy idea that they want to think for themselves, and we bury them under social programming.

We get those kids collecting aluminum cans and cheering for the 50 or 60 vaccines they’re getting pumped into their already-weakened immune systems. At age six, we teach them the 206 sexual positions described in various ancient texts. We teach them everything equals everything and they must tolerate and respect and celebrate every conceivable point of view.

It’s a blast.

We fly planes over the country dumping chemtrails, and we put fluorides into every water system, to reduce IQ, increase compliance, and promote bone loss.

Now we’re ready for major media outlets. You know, newspapers and TV news networks that do 24/7 he-said he-said and quotes from experts. Beautiful.

And then we can have free elections with candidates from the two major parties. They grin and lie and run for office and people argue and vote and it doesn’t make any difference.

The war is over, no US troops died, no bullets were fired, no bombs were dropped, and everybody’s happy—depending on your definition of happy.

Every once in a while, when the Afghan people start to come out of their trance, the CIA stages a local massacre and the media go crazy. A demand for greater surveillance is invented.

From the high mountain ranges to the lowlands, we’ve got 100 or 200 million video cameras recording everybody, all phone conversations and emails are monitored, and thousands of drones overhead blanket the country with electronic eyeballs.

The government takes away guns. US guns, black-market guns, old Soviet guns, muskets, and stingers, scooped up and shipped to drug cartels for a handsome profit.

All food crops, all trees, all bushes, all weeds, all grass in the country are GMO. The city of Kabul is renamed Monsanto.

It works, it really does.

Pacification, modern style.

Then, back here at home, the Pentagon can take those assets they no longer need for foreign wars…add them to the present considerable DHS arsenal, and deploy them on the domestic front against the restive population, when necessary.

I hereby give the Smithsonian Institute the right to publish, store, and display my Afghanistan war plan along side other military memorabilia.

Sanity deserves a place in history.
