Session Themes and Navigating this Potent Week of Energies

In recent months, but especially the last two weeks, I’ve noticed a major recurring theme in sessions. I thought I’d share a little of that theme here, since it seems to be somewhat of a collective process if so many individuals are going through it right now. I’ll also share links to some insightful articles about this week’s super intense events in the sky. This weekend brings a perfect storm of aspects all coming together … and yet these aspects continue to ricochet off past and future potent transits. In my own chart, these eclipses and mega-events hit majorly sensitive spots, so I’m not only observing effects in sessions and in the collective, but also very much in my inner and outer life.

Radical Vulnerability

One theme I continue to encounter is that of vulnerability. Specifically, life seems to be putting people into what would normally feel like a worst nightmare Catch-22: a situation in which the only way to survive, heal or succeed means exposing themselves in a nakedly vulnerable way. These people faced hurt in the past — deep wounds from trusting the wrong people, from being abused, or punished for seeming “weak.” They learned to shut down in order to protect themselves, and especially their hearts.

With Jupiter now opposing the North Node in Cancer, there’s a big (Jupiter) collective push to become more childlike (Cancer) and to allow someone else to care for us in a safe, heartfelt and grown up way. Re-parenting issues abound, and they’re prickly issues, because these people learned not to trust parents or authority figures. The risk feels even more difficult with a stellium of planets (Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Pluto) and the transiting South Node (past lives, old habits) in Capricorn right now. The dominant energy stands tall in Capricorn, sign of self-sufficiency ruled by stern patriarch Saturn. Yet the collective path forward (North Node) involves feeling, empathic, childlike, mothering and receptive to mothering Cancer.

For most of the people being called to vulnerability, “losing control” or “not having it together” is very scary.

I reminded two clients yesterday that “It takes a lot of courage to admit you’re terrified.” We all laughed, but recognized that truth. It’s OK to feel afraid. That’s part of the process. Courage is not living without fear. Courage comes from cœur — the French word for “heart.” Having courage means your heart feels enough love for others — and in this case, for yourself, for whatever you need — to face the fear and embrace the opportunities at hand.

Jupiter brings luck, truth, optimism and buoyant support. While life has forced people into this uncomfortable position of needing to embrace their own vulnerability — life has also brought just the right people together to make that happen. Whether through a doctor, therapist, friend, mentor, or new romance, people having their hearts cracked open are also finding just the right person or people to love and nurture their budding tenderness.

I keep seeing or hearing about this, over and over. It’s amazing how many people are going through this exact process right now. To me, it seems like part of the New Earth energies — a deep and powerful love frequency.

This process requires discernment. Unfortunately, not everyone is a safe person. If you’ve felt pushed in this direction, though, look deeper at the relationships in your life. See if you notice an obvious opening, even if it feels scary or bizarre to explore that possibility. Something seems to be orchestrating opportunities for increased tenderness and vulnerability. This new love frequency feels protective and regenerative. Considering all the other energies headed our way, having courage in this most personal area will make you stronger and better able to weather the storms.

The Big Astro Weather Week

Since many of the big fireworks this coming weekend involve long cycled planets, we’ve already been living with some of these energies for a long time. I mentioned some key events in my Happy Solstice, Happy Anniversary, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas Eclipse post. The December 25th/26th eclipse links into this weekend and will continue to play out over the coming weeks and months. A brief listing of coming attractions follows:

Wednesday, January 8th: Jupiter exactly conjunct the South Node at 8° Capricorn

Friday, January 10th: Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 20° Cancer with a tightly packed Sun, Mercury, Saturn and Pluto all in 20-22° Capricorn. As Pam Younghans notes, this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse also involves Ceres (21° Capricorn) and Chariklo (24° Capricorn), bringing a feminine energy to that potent stellium. In addition, Juno (the faithful wife) sits at 19° Libra, and Eris (the scorned Goddess) at 23° Aries, both squared by those opposing energies in Cancer and Capricorn.

The Trans-Neptunian-Object known as Arawn — named after the Welsh God of the Underworld — also rules at 20° Capricorn right now. Arawn amplifies both the Saturnian and Plutonian energies, exponentially amplifying the Capricorn energy face-off with the Cancer Full Moon. The 12/12/19 Full Moon was intense, but this one feels out of this world.

Saturday, January 10th or 11th (depending on time zone): Uranus stations direct at 2°37′ Taurus. Uranus went retrograde on August 11, 2019. The Rx motion tones down the Uranian urge to kick out the jambs, rabble rouse, rebel and liberate. When an outer planet stations direct, its power amplifies, especially at the point of shift. I’ve shared lots of writing about Uranus in Taurus, and we can expect this shift to encapsulate and liberate those energies.

Sunday, January 12th: Saturn exactly conjuncts Pluto for the one and only time at 22°46′ Capricorn. This is a hugely big deal. Saturn only conjuncts Pluto once every 35-40 years, and not always in the same sign. To have this conjunction occur right on the heels of a powerful Lunar Eclipse and Uranus stationing direct brings so many planets, points and objects together it’s like Rachmaninoff in the skies.

If you’d like more details on the coming transits, I recommend:

On a Personal Note:

These transits keep dogging me! To explain all the ways these cosmic events keep triggering precise and super sensitive spots in my chart would sound too technical and boring to most. Suffice to say, I’m not just empathing the collective and my clients’ experiences. I’m getting loads of exact hits on both my natal and 9th Harmonic charts. It’s kind of mind boggling, but at least it explains why for years, I’ve viewed this time period through 2025 as pivotal for me. I always link into the collective in very personal micro/macro ways, so I’m curious to see how it all plays out.

If you’ve not read Ringing in a New Decade and a New Earth, that gives more of a dreamlike overview of the coming energies. I told a client yesterday that I feel an excited sense of dread — kind of like approaching the peak of a very high and windy rollercoaster. How fast and wild will it go? Will destiny’s force feel exhilarating and/or terrifying? We live in exciting and interesting times.

If you’re not one for Rachmaninoff, you might like this Melody Sheep version of Bill Hicks and George Carlin. One of my favorites!

Blessed Be … and be the blessing.

Moon-like Flowers for the Eclipse

I had to share these white beauties for today’s Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. The first is “Dinner Plate Hibiscus” and the second, a “Casa Blanca Lily.” This Fall, I’ll be planting an ancient “Madonna Lily” to join the Moon ladies in our yard.

I’ve been taking advantage of this eclipse’s almost exact trine of my natal Mercury. Lots of Lyme book writing! Wishing you and yours the most productive use of today’s energies, however that expresses itself for you.

A Good Reminder for Our World

With all the private and public intensities and competing polarities right now, especially before Wednesday’s lunar eclipse, it feels right to post this link to an important 2014 post: El Mundo Bueno.

Remember to summon and receive “The Good Reality.” It’s always here for the experiencing. Magic and miracles abound whenever we open our eyes and hearts to recognize them.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse: Tom Lescher ~ April 24, 2013 Pele Report

This is an unusual Tom Lescher video in terms of resonance. In reading the comments on YouTube, I noticed that viewers either totally connected with what he says, or they completely rejected this message. Very polarized, just like the energies right now! I find that interesting, so I’m posting this one for those who will find the resonance. If you don’t, the message is either not for you right now, or it’s worthwhile shining some light on your resistance and asking “What do I need to let go of?” I will say that in sessions, my various clients have shared concerns about all of the dynamics he mentions, especially this week.

As Tom comments, “the whole thing was about the moon eclipse……,” which he mentions as “tomorrow.” Please note, the report came out on Wednesday, so the Full Moon (partial) Eclipse is today. The water background noise is fairly loud on this video, but again, I’m sharing the video in case the message resonates for you.

Happy Full Moon! Make of it what you will. 🙂

Ocean’s 11:11 June 15 Event

Hello all you bliss lovers, Earth doulas, shamans, witches, faeries, elves, angels, artists and anyone else who envisions a high vibe, clean, beautiful, free and loving planet. Ocean’s 11:11 on June 15 is almost here. I posted on this earlier, so please check out the suggestions I’ve already shared. (You’ll need to scroll down through a couple earlier posts, as my link function won’t work right now.) Today’s post serves more as a pep talk and reminder.

June 2011 is filled with Love and Light events! Just filled with them. If you haven’t yet, please check out 40 Days Focusing on Manifesting the New 5D Earth (also found by scrolling through a few recent posts). It’s a good one, and it starts on June 21. Ocean’s 11:11 is, of course, about Love and Light, too. But it’s also about reclaiming resources and power — kind of a reverse heist, just like in the movie Ocean’s Eleven, where a gang of thieves goes after a corrupt casino. They each use their own special skills and work together to accomplish something far more daring than any of them could have hoped to achieve alone.

Our world is upside down, inside out, backwards and radically unstable right now. That’s the good news! It means that our little band of Robinhood-esque Lightworkers has Nature on our side. The most powerful magick taps into the natural flow of energies, guiding those energies, but working WITH them in order to create powerful, preferable results. Astrologer Electra Jung (http://signsfromabove.net) selected this date, June 15, 2011, with its Sagittarius Full Moon and a 100 minute full lunar eclipse, as one of the very best astrological alignments for accomplishing a reverse heist.

What does this look like? Well, let’s start by reclaiming Nature’s control of our weather. And then how ’bout our air? How ’bout the only clouds in the sky are actual real clouds, not heavy-metal-laden toxic chemtrails. And while we’re into rebalancing, how ’bout reclaiming our resources — money that’s been systematically stolen from taxpayers via deceptive banking “crises” and resulting bailouts; the missing gold from Fort Knox and under the World Trade Center; the various land grabs in Africa and the US’s Mississippi valley; Native, indigenous traditions in all lands; rainwater rights and clean water; control over our own bodies; our food supply; our spirituality, our soveriegnty and our self-respect.

Take your pick. You can focus on any or all or others. If you feel particularly passionate about something, so much the better. Focus your mind, heart, body and energy on whatever you want to reclaim and use whatever energetic tools you have at your disposal to take it back. You can do this all by visualization and really feeling how it would feel to have this planet and your own life rebalanced in this way. You can also write a spell/clever poem that expresses your intention (read it out loud), perform your own ritual, or burn a candle with this idea in mind. If you possess other knowledge or skills, like Reiki, you could offer a Reiki Healing Attunement to empower the intention; perform a shamanic ritual for others gathered around the same goal; engage in plant magick; or walk a labyrinth. The way in IS the way out. Let’s reverse the steps that got us here.

You can also work with any personal deities, devas, elementals or guides, as well as petition those whose services and interests align with this process. The Sagittarius Full Moon is ruled by Jupiter, and Jupiter expands everything he touches. Think big. Dream big. Whatever you ask for, realize that you can reclaim it in a much bigger way on June 15th. Full Moons are the most potent time to cast spells, and with a lunar eclipse lasting that long, the veil between worlds becomes very thin indeed. Jupiter is also in Taurus, which emphasizes the Earth. Ocean’s 11:11 participants are Earth doulas, helping to birth the next phase. Gaia wants to grow up and reclaim the respect she deserves as a Mother. We can send some extra requests to Jupiter to help expand whatever Earth is birthing — help expand this gorgeous new world of ours.

Venus is the goddess of love, but she’s also the goddess of receiving one’s heart’s desires. Her combined Love vibe and power of attraction make her a wonderfully compatible goddess for this Ocean’s 11:11 Event. Venus is also the goddess of quick cash and sudden windfalls. Let’s envision sudden wealth, power and resources coming into the hands of people who will use these responsibly for the highest good of all.

I also love the monkey god, Hanuman. He incarnated solely to serve Rama, and when Rama’s wife, Sita, was kidnapped, Hanuman found her and rescued her. On his journey, he faced impossible tasks, but each time that he remembered who he was, he managed to overcome all challenges. Hanuman represents the power of love in action. He can jump over the sea, fly to the Sun, or bring back an entire mountain just to make sure someone has the right healing herb. He acts from love, for love and because of love. If you know the Hanuman Chalisa, you might want to sing it on June 15, “tagging” it with your requests for a new, beautiful, balanced Earth served by Light and Love-filled governments. Power to, not power over.

Speaking of Hindu deities, Ganesha, the bringer and remover of obstacles, seems like a potent friend of this Ocean’s 11:11 mission. Ganesha guards all portals and doorways. As the energetic gatekeeper, he can open the doors that appear out of nowhere, as well as unlock ones that have been artificially slammed in our faces. Ganesha rocks. My favorite Ganesha t-shirt reads, “Whoever laughs last, laughs best.” Let’s give Nature, Earth and an evolved humanity a great big giggle fest!

Speaking of doors, let’s not forget Joseph Campbell’s wise words, “Follow your bliss and the Universe will open doors where there were only walls.” Whatever you offer, please do so with joy. Like attracts like, and in this sacred re-heist, we need to remain present to the type of world we wish to create. I vote for joy, bliss, love, light, freedom, fun, prosperity and abundance. A world in which each person can freely express his or her soul’s true reason for incarnating. A world in which we all know we are infinitely cared for and provided for. “Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” ~Luke 12:27

I have a professor friend who calls me “The Lily of the field,” because I lead such a synchronous, magickal life. It’s true. I really do. I feel so blessed and loved and protected, and I dream of the day when everyone who wants to know such things can freely experience life that way. We all can right now, but I envision this Ocean’s 11:11 re-heist as setting things in motion to make these opportunities seem more tangible and obvious to everyone. Much Love, Namaste, and thanks for your help!
