A Beautiful Ceremony

Whatever happens with Standing Rock — whether the stay on DAPL construction remains halted or requires more resistance — this is a beautiful reconciliation, forgiveness and a return to the original sacred status of the Warrior. In addition to bringing veterans and natives together, Standing Rock has also united indigenous tribes from all over the world. More of this kind of powerful healing, please!

I was unable to embed the video of the ceremony, but you can watch it here. If you let it play, you’ll also see/hear Wesley Clark, Jr. ask for forgiveness from Leonard Crow. You can hear commentary immediately after the veterans’ forgiveness ceremony by clicking here.

For those who have not read my Water Prayer, I continue to intend this blessing and protection at Standing Rock and anywhere the Mighty Element of Water flows. May we hold strong in our love for Mother Earth and each other.

Blessed Be.

John Beckett ~ The Pyramids of Uxmal

I can’t reblog this article, so I’ll just post a link.

I always enjoy John Beckett’s contemplative musings, and this piece combines personal experience, ancient Mayan ruins, modern Mayan civilization, a ghost story of sorts, and important questions to ask ourselves as individuals and as a society. John’s a self described “Pagan, Druid and Unitarian Universalist,” but for some reason this piece particularly reminds me of the prayer of confession in the Episcopal Church, which seeks forgiveness “for things done and for things left undone.” As the days shorten into winter nights and the world around us continues to offer chaos, I find myself going deeper inside, too. This is an uncomfortable read, but one that asks us to consider what is ours to do.

In a world of imperfect options, at what point do we fight for our lives or for sacred things threatened with destruction? “[W]hat necessary acts are we neglecting because we find them unpleasant? What helpful changes have we not made because they carry risks, risks that are far less than those faced by the players on the Uxmal ball court?” Worth an introspective read.

James Gilliland ~ “Your Actions Are Screaming So Loud I Cannot Hear Your Words.โ€

Ah, James, thank you for blasting some clarity into the doublespeak and hypnotic miasma of our times. It’s really much simpler than the psychopaths would have us believe. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Thanks, G, for bringing my attention to this post.

James Gilliland ~ “Your Actions Are Screaming So Loud I Cannot Hear Your Words.โ€

We are seeing this now in all aspects of our lives. Almost all the institutions are acting completely contrary to their mandates and their words are in complete contradiction to their actions.

There is a saying โ€“ a manโ€™s/womanโ€™s character is established by their actions. Their actions are representative of just who is driving their boat. Whether it be social programming, a wounded ego, unseen negative influences, or a healthy soul and spirit the actions clearly define who is in charge. No matter how much we might want to be-lie-ve in someone we cannot discount their actions. Although it seems to be quite easy for them to deny, avoid and continue on; those days of denial are coming to a close.

With the new higher consciousness and energy as well as universal law pressing hard upon humanity and the Earth nothing will remain hidden. The action/reaction principle or karma will also be amplified and accelerated, no matter where you go there you are. You cannot hide from yourself or the reactions to your actions.

Now is the time to release the past, heal all wounds and traumas from past experiences, align with soul and spirit and act within Universal Law, Principles and Understandings necessary for a healthy society and environment. Step out of your pain bodies. Forgive yourself and others. Make your own personal God/Creator/Spirit connection and act on the inner guidance.

Any guidance of a lower nature will only cause more pain, suffering or loss. Unity consciousness is a wave that is exponentially building. Nothing will stand in its way. It is all about choice and action now choose and act wisely. This will determine your tomorrow. Be well,

My mantra is only love shall come to me and through me.

Autumn Equinox 2012–Closer to Fine

What a week of sessions! My heart goes out to everyone struggling to integrate the new energies as the old seems to fall away faster than it’s replaced.

I’m feeling it, too, but for me it feels like such a celebration! Those sticky spots I’ve felt for so long have finally begun to release. Thank you dreams for finding creative ways to circumvent conscious resistance. I awoke this morning after partaking in a “forgiveness ritual” in a dream, which allowed my subconscious (the actively creating part of my existence) to let something go that my conscious mind kept trying to understand. It was a spontaneous, highly symbolic ritual in the dream, and I awoke with joyful lyrics playing in my conscious mind as the commentary: “There’s more than one answer to these questions … closer I am to fine.” My brain just smiled, as I’ve been asking, asking, asking for release from energetic ties to a binding relationship. My guides had assured me release would come, but perhaps in a wilder way than I expected.

As my brain continued smiling, dancing and celebrating the relief, I realized that this Indigo Girls song expresses so much of what has come to light for others in this week’s sessions.

When old hurts arise and all the old methods of dealing with them fall short, it doesn’t mean that you have fallen short. It means the Universe has given you an opportunity and a strong nudge to transcend the original question. No more old paradigm of fixing broken things — what about the new manifestation beyond your wildest, prior permitted imaginings?

“I went to the doctor, I went to the mountains
I looked to the children, I drank from the fountain
There’s more than one answer to these questions
Pointing me in crooked line
The less I seek my source for some definitive
The closer I am to fine.”

As we move from stark duality into a more integrated holistic approach to life in the hologram, we get to reconnect with Nature, each other, Spirit, and, perhaps most poignantly, we get to reclaim our Soul. That process can feel intense, backwards, lonely and inside out, but the journey results in a closer union and an embodied experience that All is Well. On this day of equal light and equal darkness, let us remember and reaffirm the mystic Julian of Norwich’s comforting words: “All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of thing shall be well.

What Can You Do?

This post is a long time coming, although in many ways, I’ve been piecemealing out the information as I feel led. Clients, blog readers, friends and family who have begun to wake up keep asking me, “What can we do?” They either feel overwhelmed by the challenges ahead of them, or overwhelmed by day-to-day living and obligations. They would love to contribute to a positive collective timeline, but a) they don’t understand what the heck a timeline is and/or b) they don’t see how the “little” things in their sphere of influence could possibly have much impact on the bigger picture.

Regarding the timelines, parallel universes and reality creation: these are not things you will likely understand with a 3D brain from a 3D perspective — unless — you actively engage the ideas with a temporary suspension of disbelief. With practice and careful attention to your feelings and senses, nudges followed by inspired action, and by watching the eventual manifestations, you will begin to intuit how things work for you. There are general guidelines, but what matters most to you? An abstract ability to explain things in scientific or “normal” terms, or the consistent ability to get where you’d most love to go? I try to work in a few posts here and there that include scientific support for such theories, as well as Abraham-Hicks videos and messages, Dolores Cannon‘s research from 1000’s of deep trance hypnotherapy clients, forgotten wisdom from Avalon and the Druids, as well as Mayan prophecies … but that’s just to give your left brain something to chew on while the rest of you gets back to experiencing. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Experience and experiment share the same root, and people most truly feel they know something by experiencing it for themselves. With repeat experiments, you begin to know what works for you. By sharing your results with others engaged in similar experiments, you begin to know an even bigger picture of how things work. Will your left brain be able to explain it to everyone else? Not necessarily. But you will start to have a lot of very interesting stories, synchronicities, “Divine interventions,” and positive manifestations. You will also start to notice that your attitude and attention exert influence over what “happens” in your external reality. You don’t need to explain yourself; you can simply live your results and let the results speak for themselves.

Remember that Joseph Campbell quote? “Follow your bliss, and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.” You can think of those doors as portals to other timelines, parallel universes or even new universes created by the big bang of your wanting, followed by positive feelings and attention to what you want. You don’t need to know which you’ve done, i.e. if you’ve hopped a timeline, created a new universe or jumped into a parallel reality. With practice, you might develop such awareness, but in practical terms, the reliable ability to create and embrace what you’d most love to experience is more important (and more interesting to non-believers) than all the explanations in the world.

Eventually, even the logical mind admits that the results speak for themselves. The “show me” and “prove it” parts can no longer deny consistent results. As Gandhi said, “You must become the change you wish to see in the world.” Instead of preaching with your words, actually follow through on what you know. Latch onto your bliss and let it take you to destinations beyond your left brain’s wildest expectations. Become a whole-brained individual who is logical enough to allow whatever works best to become the dominant method.

OK, fine, but what can we do about our collective reality? I see all these government regulations and radiation, pollution and the threat of Earth Changes. I’m not a gazillionaire with tons of influence. What can I do in daily life to help the situation?

Never underestimate the power of tiny shifts of attitude and attention when you have flowing through you the power to create universes. And we all do have that power flowing through us! Use those negatives you know you absolutely do not want to help you figure out the positives that you do want. If you don’t want to live in a police state, then focus on freedom — especially freeing yourself from your own personal, inner police state. If you want to live in freedom from your government, then you can start by giving yourself permission to be yourself. Allow yourself to honor your preferences. Allow yourself to express your inner truth.

The irony of censorship is that most people gag themselves so tightly that they don’t need any kind of external crackdown. They’re afraid even to voice certain thoughts and desires inside their own mind. You don’t need Thought Police when you are your own 24-7 Thought Police, denying or postponing everything that makes you feel alive and joyful. Censorship of the press and controlled media are doing this world a favor by encouraging people to value freedom of expression. That freedom doesn’t come from your government. It comes from yourself. Let your creative juices flow and make a painting, form a pot, or arrange some flowers. Share your gifts with yourself and with the world. Allow yourself to journal about things you truly desire. Stop censoring yourself, and you will find that the media and government cooperate. As within, so without. When you don’t want something manifesting outside you, address and then shift anything inside you that resonates with it. When nothing in you resonates with that “reality,” then and only then, will those scenarios leave your experience.

Yeah, but what about those Dark Goddess energies you keep mentioning? Is Mother Earth really that pissed off at us?

Mother Earth loves you, but she can only handle so much abuse. She knows she needs to heal, and she will do it whether you cooperate or not. Make no mistake: she loves you. If she can cleanse, heal and ascend while still having you on board, she will do so. She is, however, committed to her own survival. If you, and the rest of humanity, continue to abuse her, you leave her no choice but to leave you behind.

It’s no different than the battered woman who attends therapy and keeps showing up in the emergency room due to a husband who ridicules, devalues, and beats her. Maybe she stays for the children. Maybe she stays because she doesn’t feel strong enough to leave. At some point, she realizes that if things don’t change, that husband will kill her. If she wants to live, then she will leave because she’s tried everything else in her power. At that point, the Dark Goddess energies kick in to help her. She becomes not the meek, abused little puppy, but the growling Mama Bear who will protect herself and the innocent cubs no matter what stands in her way. Emphasis on innocent. If you are participating in the abuse, then you are not innocent. Most of humanity participates in the abuse on a daily if not hourly basis. Witnessing abuse when you have the power to stop it makes you culpable. Renouncing your power so that you “can’t” (read “won’t”) take the actions you know you can and must take puts you in a position of one who gets left behind, no matter how much that abused Mother loves you. She can’t afford to have people devalue her and passively or actively endorse her abusers.

Mama Earth is approaching Mama Bear time. She doesn’t particularly want to throw off the humans, but she needs to know that things are changing. For real this time. No more hollow words without a radical shift in perspective. No more disrespect. She’s trying to heal and give birth at the same time. She’s like a pregnant, abused mother who has cancer and is trying to give birth — all at once. She’s strong, but she can and will no longer tolerate being kicked, humiliated, raped and poisoned while she’s working to save her own life and birth a new reality. Can you blame her?

This all sounds dire, but it doesn’t need to be. The collective can shift right this very moment. We can “get” it, see Gaia for who and what she is, express our gratitude and love. We can create organic gardens. We can thank weeds like dandelion and nettles for nourishing and purifying the soil. We can thank seaweed for purifying the oceans.

We can stop supporting all GMO foods. Period. Just stop. Yes, this will result in a very different way of grocery shopping. Yes, this will result in mind-altering awakenings and spontaneous healing. Yes, this will result in going more local and cutting back on fossil fuels, BigAg and BigPharma. Any questions? These are the kinds of shifts we need to make right now. And we can. If you can’t see yourself getting rid of all GMO foods right now, then take a tiny, conscious step in that direction. Have an organic salad for lunch twice per week, or grow a windowsill pot of your own basil for pesto. Spend a Saturday morning at your local farmer’s market. Just do something that resonates with a healing, loving, natural and honoring direction. And keep adding to that something.

Want to do more? Talk to the Elementals and converse with the Elements. Send healing energy to the waters of this planet. Dr. Emoto has shown that water responds to words and intentions. Start sending them. Start saying Ho’o Pono Pono to the water. “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.” Say that to the Earth. And mean it! Thank the flowers and the bees. Gratitude heals. Walk barefoot on the Earth. Feel yourself connecting to that energy. Send and receive love through your feet. Take a gardening, herb, and/or wild foraging class. Get some plant and nature books out of your local library and actually read them. Stand in the rain and let it pour over you. Sit in the sunshine and appreciate how the planet responds. Feel yourself as the bridge you are between heaven and earth.

Want to do even more? Practice responsible creation. If you know that thoughts create reality and you don’t like what you see, start looking for what you’d love to see. Walk outside and appreciate the beauty of your neighborhood. Even if you live in the city, you can find natural elements to love. Central Park offers diverse, wild Nature, right in the middle of NYC. You probably have purslane, dandelions, plantain or chicory growing in your sidewalk cracks. You’ve got flowers shamelessly announcing their sexuality and joy for all the world to see. Emulate them. You are beautiful, but you will be even more beautiful if you can find and honor yourself without feeling ashamed of who and what you are.

Want to do even more than that? Sing. Invite sacred chants and mantras into your life and belt those melodies into land, sea and sky. Music is all numbers, and numbers are the universal language. Frequency. Sing your heart out. Isn’t that what the angels do? Think of yourselves as Earth Angels, actively creating harmony and balance through every thought, word and deed.

Can you do more? Of course you can! How much do you love your Mother? How much do you love yourself? How much do you love each other? Show it. Little gestures, big gestures: size doesn’t matter in this case. Just start showing and being Love. YOU are IT.

I will leave you with this sincere and fervent prayer to the Goddess for forgiveness. It’s as good a place to start as any:

Global and Personal Ho’oponopono

I’ve been working on The Forgiveness Experiment since early November 2011. Seeking global debt forgiveness and attempting to find relief and freedom from the deeply embedded narcissist structures of our culture, I began looking towards a “forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors” solution.

I’ve experienced some success with the experiment; however, I keep getting stuck on that whole “turn the other cheek” thing. It appears that the majorly destructive characters of our world have thrived on the masses and individuals looking away from systemic corruption and continuing to present themselves for yet another slap in the face. How many more quasi-secret bank bailouts will American taxpayers subsidize? Do those little wrist slaps of pennies on the dollar fines provide any incentive at all to change? And what about those individuals who continue to prey off unsuspecting Lightworkers and people with good hearts but poor discernment? Does turning the other cheek do anything at all to curb those abuses?

I’ve spent over six months doing my own intensive Shadow Work, as well as facilitating that for others through Past Life Readings and Shadow Work Tarot sessions. My inner world and that of my clients has definitely shifted, and our outer world does seem to be bringing greater accountability to parasites, war criminals and pathological narcissists. As within, so without. When we heal our own Shadow Side, we don’t need external reminders to look at it.

Still, I look at the world, and it’s clear we haven’t moved fully beyond the old paradigm. Those we would remove from our lives have a funny way of fighting to remain, even if they don’t actually like us. David reminded me yesterday of a book called, “I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me,” which deals with Borderline Personality Disorder, but the title strikes me as apt for our times. The NWO control freaks in our midst — the ones plotting massive depopulation schemes — are terrified that we’ll all start singing “I Will Survive”:

“At first, I was afraid, I was petrified
Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side
But then I spent so many nights thinking, how you did me wrong
And I grew strong and I learned how to get along

“Go on now, go, walk out the door, just turn around now,
Cause you’re not welcome anymore
Weren’t you the one who tried to hurt me with Goodbye?
Did you think I’d crumble? Did you think I’d lay down and die?”

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned by a narcissist, although the wrath and outrage felt by 99% humanity realizing how long and how far they’ve been abused may come close. Psychologists speculate that Adolf Hitler may have suffered from Borderline Personality Disorder. Many dictators and “corporate persons” are narcissists. So many of the rulers and “leaders” of our world present varying degrees of sociopathic and psychopathic behavior patterns — with globally destructive effects. David B. Schwartz’s The Rise of the Second String Psychopaths explores the psychological sickness of American political puppeteers and their enablers, but this article could easily describe the world at large. Whether global or personal, those impacted by first or second-string psychopaths often spend years, decades or even lifetimes reeling from the results.

But who the heck wants to deal with this stuff anymore? Around the world, the cheek turners have begun to stare fear and abuse right back in the face. In return, the psychopaths who would like to remain in control have stocked up on ammo, drones, and nuclear weapons to use against “the useless eaters.” I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me!!! On the personal level, as Lightworkers have begun to take back their power, the energy vampires have grown more desperate for a fix. Lightworkers and Light Warriors have grown stronger, with brighter light and massive influxes of positive energy, but those people so out of touch with their own inner Light feel darker and darker. And when people feel disconnected from Source — un-enlightened — and desperate, they often lash out even more, which leads to more need to forgive.

Railing against these people or institutions, unfortunately, locks them into our vibration. We really can’t move on, individually or collectively, if we continue to feel stuck to old resentments. On the other hand, we don’t want to lie back and take it anymore. Besides, lying back and taking it, turning the other cheek … those old ways haven’t exactly worked. I talk a lot about “being the change” we wish to see. Ghandi had it right. I would love nothing more than for all the crazies running our world to come clean, beg for forgiveness and enter some kind of ongoing soul rehabilitation center. I would love to hear sincere apologies from those people whose actions still leave me shaking my head going, “Really?! Seriously, how do you live with yourself? How can you just keep repeating these exact same behaviors when you’ve been told and shown repeatedly what kind of damage you leave in your wake? Wouldn’t it feel better to come clean?”

A few weeks ago, I applied the Ghandi idea of becoming the change I wish to see in the world and started asking for forgiveness from those people I’ve been trying to forgive. I don’t contact them directly, but I started doing the ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness called Ho’oponopono, directing these words towards those I would like to forgive:

“I love you.
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.”

A few rounds of that launch me deeper into my heart than I have ever comfortably remained — even though I do spend a lot of time in my heart. The words become a mantra and carry their own vibration, which seems to heal the angry spots inside. They also help to recognize even more of those Shadow Sides in which we have tangoed with the “Other” and hurt them and ourselves. In recognizing our own role in the victim/abuser/savior dance, we reclaim both our energy and our power. Those sticky relationships no longer tear at our inner peace like Velcro.

This practice has yielded such deep results in all my personal relationships that I started practicing it with leaders of our world. I also started practicing Ho’oponopono as an American, sincerely asking for global forgiveness of our massive karmic debt to humanity. Turning the other cheek to our leaders’ decisions to bomb, raid, torture and decimate doesn’t absolve us of all responsibility. At least, not in my world. I feel deep love for humanity and a true hope that we can move beyond all wars to live in peace and harmony on this planet. Speaking of this planet, I also started practicing Ho’oponopono as a citizen of Earth, sending heartfelt words to Gaia for all the ways we have refused to honor and protect her:

“I love you.
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.”

After practicing with Earth, I added the rest of the Universe, the Galactics, the faery realm, angelic realm, the animals and the plants. And then I added myself, perhaps the being I have most betrayed and injured in this lifetime and so many others. Try saying Ho’oponopono to yourself! It makes me cry every single time. Big teary eyes and an even softer heart:

“I love you.
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.”

There’s nothing quite like Ho’oponopono to move us so deeply into our hearts that we expand beyond any need to feel self righteous or stuck in someone else’s frames. We can create a new world, moment-by-moment and breath-by-breath. Personally, I dream of a new world filled with Love. Unconditional Love heals all.

I love you.
I’m sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.

The Forgiveness Experiment

I’ve noticed a theme during recent sessions, books I’m currently reading, my sense of the world pulse (especially the Occupy Movement), and my own intuitive nudges about things that still need releasing in my life: Forgiveness. I decided to try a little experiment on a personal and a collective level:

The quickest way to get an unwanted someone out of your vibration and hence out of your life is to forgive them for whatever you believe they’ve done to you; forgive yourself for falling for it; and forgive yourself for whatever you may have done to them. Easier said than done, but easier done than left undone, since unforgiveness creates pain on all levels. I am personally working on this with someone I knew while I was very brain injured. I won’t share details here because once forgiveness happens, those details won’t matter, but in trying to shake off old cords — in particular those related to financial trickery –I keep getting the message that forgiveness is my fastest, and possibly my only, route to total freedom. “Forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors.”

Victim mentality never thrives but neither does sustained anger. Peace within, peace without. I invite a flow of Grace, especially in this area and with this person.

I am also imagining how this works on a collective level with Obama, Monsanto and gangster/banksters. I realize that my irritation with, judgment of, and resistance to these people keeps them locked in my vibration. My attempts to release them to the angels have been only temporarily successful. I’m ready for a complete transformation of my outer world, which, I know, requires a complete transformation of my inner world. And so…I’ve spent the last 24 hours deeply pondering those areas in which I have not forgiven others or myself. I found that my feelings about Obama playing on people’s hopes only to dash them through trickery and backdoor deals with bankers, BigPharma and Monsanto were directly related to my own issues of feeling completely duped, bilked and manipulated while in a highly vulnerable state — i.e. brain injured and with no rational side.

I could see the dynamic when it projected outwards into a dumbed down, numbed out and desperate society, but found it more difficult to recognize in my own life. Whenever I would glimpse what happened on a personal level, I felt extremely uncomfortable self-judgment. “How in the world could I have fallen for that?!” As a close friend reminded me last night, “You had perhaps the best excuse someone could ever have for falling for that kind of trick: a brain injury.” It’s true, I did. But I still had intuition, and I repeatedly ignored it. I have since encountered so many clients who did not have brain injuries but also found themselves tricked into signing various paperwork that transferred anything from property to debt to responsibility from a person they trusted and unknowingly onto themselves. Turns out, it’s quite common.

One way people seem to get away with it is that the “victims” wouldn’t ever imagine doing something like this to those they love. Or to anyone, for that matter! And yet, somehow, nice, trusting people seem to attract this sort of thing. I’ve noticed patterns in my work with clients, finding that the vulnerability for being financially duped usually stems from childhood programming by well-meaning caregivers, as well as past lives that involved witch trials, character assassinations, and unexpectedly large negative consequences of minor selfish decisions. Buying into the judgment seems to result in lots of judgments this time around –even if the debt, accusations or judgment have nothing to do with the “victim.”

I put “victim” in quotes, because the victim mentality only prolongs the pattern. An abuser requires a victim in order to be an abuser, in the same way that a victim requires an abuser in order to be a victim. If we view ourselves in either –or both –roles, we will continue to tangle with an aggressive tar baby. The more we fight, the more entangled we get.

At this point in my life, and hopefully at this point in the world, I/we want results. I’ll speak for myself here when I say, “I want results so much that I’m willing to stop churning this situation around and around in my mind, because no matter how much I try to understand it, the more I think about it, the less I comprehend. I want to forgive and forget, but doing so will require help from above. I invite and invoke healing on all levels, and I ask for the Grace to release any and all attachments, judgments, fears, complaints, and misperceptions. I know we live in a perfect world. I know in the bigger scheme of things, everything is in perfect, Divine timing and order. I know that forgiving does not mean approving; yet I also accept that approval and disapproval are no longer my concerns. I am free and everyone else is free. In order to embrace the fullness of freedom, joy and bliss, I release all need to play God in favor of simply playing. And so it is.”

I’m engaging this process for even more reasons than I’ve already explained. The Forgiveness Experiment is simply my non-attached observation of how my inner transformation plays out in my personal and collective external reality. I feel curious and hopeful –excited and thrilled to be singing a new song while playing a new game. Jubilee and Namaste.
