Synchronicity, Answered Prayer and Dream Journals

Happy Martin Luther King, Jr. Day! I wasn’t sure when to post this last round of products to release in early 2019, but today seemed appropriate. MLK lived his faith and inspired others to dream a better world into being.

I know so many people who live amazing, synchronous lives, yet who struggle to maintain their faith when the going gets tough. That’s normal. Sometimes life throws an unexpected health crisis, business upheaval, or high profile misunderstanding. Sometimes life’s challenges seem too overwhelming or impossible for one person to navigate. In sessions, I ask people to remember other times when against all odds, a miracle stepped in to save the day. I ask them to notice the little “signs” or “sync winks” that whisper, “You’re not alone.” “Divine timing is in effect.” “A bigger picture’s got your back.”

For years, I’ve wished something like the next few products existed: a place to record jaw dropping synchronicities, answered prayers, and tiny moments of faith that proved themselves life changing and true. Many people keep journals, but they jumble everything together. That’s fine; however, when people face challenges or crises of faith, it helps to have a personal reference book of divine intervention, “lucky” breaks and ongoing guidance. I find that the more incredible the support, the more likely people begin to doubt their memory over time: Continue reading

Moving Beyond Discouragement

I had an email catch up with a friend today, and we both thought parts of our exchange would help anyone else facing discouragement. I’ve corrected typos, added paragraphs for easier reading, and removed obviously identifying information like names, location and personal details. Otherwise, the question and my response appear intact below.

This week I’ve heard from enough clients, friends and relatives that I know more than just my friend are dancing a mazurka with discouragement. Whether your challenge stems from money, work, family, health, life path, and/or romance, please know, you’re not alone. You don’t need to know your entire trajectory right this moment. You just need to get unstuck by finding and taking the next step. And then the next one. As J.R.R. Tolkien said, “Little by little, one travels far.”

My friend:

… As an aside, do you ever get discouraged? The reason I ask is because you always seem so confident in your dealings and writings about Faeries, the world beyond the Veil, and all things spiritual/mystical, and that is a tremendous inspiration to me, but Continue reading

Twelve Insight ~ Source Will Always Send You The Right People, Places, And Circumstances

Some wonderful reminders and affirmations from Twelve Insight. I’ve been seeing so much of this during sessions, especially with people’s jobs. Thanks, Gillian!

Twelve Insight | November 25 2012

Dear Twelve, Something recently happened at my job that necessitated me leaving there immediately. A person that I have to work with is unbalanced and out to ruin my reputation and certainly my happiness. I cannot work there any longer.

I have been more connected to the God Source without her in my energy. But I have been off of work for a week and am having waves of fear about “what is going to happen to me?” Can you speak a little about fear for one’s self when one is alone, discouraged, with virtually no family?

If you are feeling more connected to Source, then this is exactly where you should be. And part of the reason you are feeling fearful and disconnected is the manner in which it happened. So we would invite you to reconsider the idea that that person was out to get you, and consider that the Universe sent them to get you out of a good place and into a better one. In other words they are your friend even though they are unpleasantly disguised.

When you choose to live your life in alignment with Source, and have conscious intention for the kind of life you are wanting to live, the Source will always send you exactly the right people, places, and circumstances to bring you there. Sometimes we just have to blast you out of a comfortable position to get you to move on. In fact, you should get used to it, because the more magnificent your life becomes, the more often you will find yourself leaving a place that is better than it’s ever been before, to go on to your next adventure, that will be even better than ever. Better, better, and better. That’s the way it becomes.
You cannot intend for even better, and stand still.

We invite you to get used to the idea that you will always be letting go of what-is and releasing it every day. It is your attachment to these things that causes it to be painful, not the fact that you are moving onward with your life. It’s that death grip that most of you get on your familiar surroundings. There was that movie about the man whose airplane wrecked and left him on a deserted island for years. That was all about letting go. In the end he even had to let go of his familiar island, which he had learned to appreciate when it had saved him, in order to move forward with his life.

Appreciate, and let go. Appreciate, and let go. That is the way to always have that which is new and vital flowing into your life. Then you are always in the position, no matter how good it has become, to discover what can be even better than this.

Your journey is blessed. We see it. All is well. It really is.

Namaste,
Twelve

Prophetic Dreams

In another round of plagiarizing my earlier self, I decided to share some dreams I recorded in 2000. I have to admit, I have freakin’ awesome dreams. 🙂 I download door ideas, find places to live, receive information to help clients and friends, and sometimes just feel overwhelmed by the beautiful images, colors and music. Yes, music. I often awake to chants or songs that continue to play through my brain as it fully embraces each new day.

During the year 2000, I lived in Evanston, Illinois, on the north side of Chicago, also right by Lake Michigan: essentially, the inverse of Hyde Park, with Northwestern instead of University of Chicago as the “college” in that neighborhood. Still completely disabled from my 1998 brain injury, I spent most days lying on the couch and meditating, going to visual therapy, listening to books/lectures on tape and eating out with friends. Despite the massive headaches and brain fog, 2000 remains one of the richest writing years for me. I could not reread what I wrote, and it’s possible that right now is the first time I’m unearthing many of the gems I left behind. I’m so glad I did. A decade + later, I see that the following dreams and journal entries have proven uncannily prophetic in my life. I hope you find them inspirational and insightful in yours as well:

5/7/00

“WALK BY FAITH AND NOT BY SIGHT.”
“BE THOU MY VISION, OH LORD OF MY HEART.”
“Go, Your Faith has healed you.”

“Even youths grow tired and weary
Even young men stumble and fall
But those who hope in the Lord shall renew their strength.
They shall soar on wings like eagles
They shall run and not grow weary
The will walk and not faint.”

Dreams

Last week:

I looked up and saw a brilliant white light which shot down into my mouth. I ate it like food and asparagus stalks sprouted from my head. They surrounded my face like rays of the sun, and people would pluck and eat the spears. The light fed me and the spears continued to regenerate as people ate them.

(asparagus=sign of prosperity
circle, sun, spiritual food)

Weekend:

Mandala. I stood in the center while four vortexes spun around me. I woke up knowing it was my calling. The shaman was the central point. The calling was four faceted:

spiritual leader
healer
artist
storyteller

Dream:

Focus point. Special place to focus through the hole that allowed you to see from an eternal perspective so that huge distances looked small. Depressed people were stuck because they couldn’t find the spot to look. But once you “got it” it was so easy to jump “impossible” distances. It was fun. I jumped like a somersaulting canonball across the ocean and it was like diving two feet off the end or a bed through a hoop. You had to look up at a special point and your perspective changed.

“What is impossible for man is possible with God.”

Another Dream:

I was hiding in a maze of hedges, looking at a man inspecting those hedges and hoping he wouldn’t see me, because I didn’t know where I was and I couldn’t move. To my horror, he turned and walked along my path.

He spoke to me and brought me to a trainer. I had to jump on a trampoline outside a small round window and attempt to jump inside it. This dream was the inverse dream of the one about jumping from the bed outside. Same principle applied. It was a LEARNED technique, kind of like visual therapy. There was an “aha!” moment that I just didn’t seem to get.

Lots of light blue and bouncing up and down. Then I accidentally ended up in the room. I didn’t yet know how I’d gotten there, but the teacher, who like my honors thesis advisor, was really excited and kept telling me to look at different points above me. There was one point that put the scene into the “proper” perspective that allowed a human to jump across the sea of over six feet of obstacles or into a light blue unknown.

It was like the circus. Fun! Once I figured out where to look. The “aha!” Once I knew where to look I could jump consistently. It brought joy and the sense of knowing not only that this world is just a matter of perspective, but the senes that with the right focus, one could easily move from time to the eternal and back again.

It looked like magic or impossible to an observor who didn’t know where to look, but “correct” vision showed how tiny and insignificant the gap can be. “My kingdom is not of this world.”

[Lots of fun in 2000! I was just starting some “serious” “funny strange” studies back then due to massive synchronicities that remain my primary life experience to this day. Wishing everyone clarity and love … Laura]

There is a Way

Thanks to Ray of Sedona for this:

There Is a Way

The intellect says: “The six directions are limits: there is no way out.”
Love says: “There is a way. I have traveled it thousands of times.”
The intellect saw a market and started to haggle;
Love saw thousands of markets beyond that market.
