Time Keeps On Slippin’ … Into the Future!

I awoke this morning with “Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’ … into the future…” running through my head on a non-stop loop. “I want to fly like an eagle…” Some kundalini yoga chants got rid of it for a little while, but now it’s back with a vengeance demanding that I type. As we cross the threshold of 2012 into 2013, it strikes me that time is, indeed, slippin’, slippin’, slippin’ … into a future many people wondered if we’d ever see. With all the doomsday predictions, movies and “prophecies,” a major pause seemed to hang over the end of 2012. I put “prophecies” in quotes because the Mayans never predicted the end of the world, but rather the end of the Old World. Big difference.

According to the Mayans and many other indigenous cultures, 2012 marked the final transition from one age into another –from an age of deception, selfishness and abuse of the Earth to an age of openness, community and restoration of the Earth and our relationship with her. Whether you follow mainstream or alternative news streams, this so-called shift to a positive new age might strain credulity. Take your pick between the over-hyped “fiscal cliff” and “lone shooter” scare tactics from mainstream sources, or the Chicken Little “sky is falling, they can pry my guns from my cold dead fingers” alternative media. You can play selective three monkeys (“see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil — of my chosen trained monkey political party”), driving a further wedge between you and your neighbor, between “the progressive Agenda 21 whores and gun grabbers” vs. “the racists, misogynists, and greedy, rotten scoundrels” but –honestly — how good does that feel? Ancient prophecies aside, do you really want to carry that radioactive, toxic sludge into the New Year?

Because you don’t have to.

In a world of all possibilities, we can as individuals and as little pockets in society, invent a higher, middle ground. In addition to The Steve Miller Band, I’ve had some other persistent concepts run across my brain today, one of them being the creation of intentional paths. I’m actively reading four books right now, and playing reading roulette with several others. “Gaia’s Garden” and “The Four Season Harvest” both discuss soil building and the importance of building pathways into your garden. In the rush to get the most out of every spot, people often try to over-plant, causing them to over-reach and making garden maintenance less pleasant and more labor intensive on the body. Even worse, a lack of deliberate paths can cause people to step on the soil where plants are trying to grow, and that heavy weight disrupts the soil ecosystem by compacting it and removing much needed oxygen and hydration paths. Even if the gardener avoids the visible plants, the delicate root system below can become compromised, resulting in mysteriously less abundant growth. The solution? Heavily mulching planned pathways that allow easy access to and enjoyment of the garden from multiple angles.

We can apply this wisdom to our own “Garden of Eden” visualizations for a blessed and easier life on Earth and in our communities: remember to make these visions accessible! Create clear pathways that allow easy access to Life’s improvements. Sweeping, sterile generalities and platitudes produce less fruit than carefully tended ideas and intentions that we can get close to. Starting on the individual and local community level makes a lot of sense, especially since the energies of 2013 support these “smaller” steps. The idea of “be the change” takes on new meaning when it moves beyond “sending love to everyone around the world” to include tangible, deliberate, loving actions in daily life. Each action step in the direction of individual sovereignty and sustainable community, no matter how small that step, links us into a larger, planetary and cosmic ecosystem. When we create well-worn paths, others can join us without damaging the tender new growth. By building pathways/opportunities for imitation and joint projects, we all benefit. Working with Nature and with the natural energies of the times, we allow ourselves to go with the positive flow, resulting in less work and a larger, healthier “harvest.”

After reading about intentional path creation in both “Gaia’s Garden” and “The Four Season Harvest,” I meditated on Colette Baron-Reid’s “The Wisdom of Avalon Oracle Deck” and asked for an important focus of 2013. I pulled “The Deer: gentleness, diplomacy”:

“When the Deer appears, it’s a reminder to step gently on the path, for you’re walking into a time when gentle movements and diplomacy are required. The Deer’s strength is in this quality. Make it your own, and know that your steps are successfully assured.

“It’s important that you be gentle with yourself as well, for you may be headed into a period where you’re unsure of your footing, or just coming out of a difficult situation.

“Blend your personal energy with the Deer’s energy of gentleness and diplomacy. Walk softly, and the way forward will be smooth. And remember … never mistake gentleness for weakness in yourself or in others.”

Gentleness and diplomacy can apply in all areas. We think of deer as graceful creatures, seeing them sometimes solitary and often in groups. They move within Nature, below our usual perceptions. A deer in the “wrong place at the wrong time” can cause great damage to itself and others, but as a general rule, deer walk silently and carefully on well-worn paths. As we ourselves enter the Unknown — symbolized in fairy tales by the deep, dark forest — we can tune in and follow Nature’s lead. Unlike all the manufactured reality online or onscreen, Nature embraces cycles of time that live more in the Now and also with an effortless future sustainability. Nature wastes nothing –fallen leaves become fertilizer and mulch; plant guilds sustain each other through symbiotic relationships; entire ecosystems arise and morph as each participant serves several roles and functions. We can re-learn how to connect with Nature, and this reconnection process will help us deal with whatever internal or external challenges we face in 2013.

Finding and creating deliberate paths to abundance, sustainability, community and enough food for all brings positive intentions into real world manifestation. The Law of Attraction means working with the natural flow from Source/God/Goddess/the Universe/the All that Is. No matter what you call it, we can all tap into this power, but it will express itself differently in each of us. Just as a natural ecosystem has multiple roles and niches for each participant, we can re-learn how to recognize where we might offer just the right knowledge, skill, enthusiasm or piece of property. We can re-learn to recognize the gifts in others instead of seeing them as Other.

In a world of all possibilities, we can easily choose to self-destruct. The media and power structures pulling media and governmental strings would love to see us fail, but guess what? Nature always bats last. If we tune ourselves into the natural rhythms and cycles of nature and walking with gentleness and diplomacy in the deep, dark Unknown, we will each find our place. Some of the invasive species on our planet — the ones devouring resources and trying to control every aspect of our lives — will drop out of the ecosystem. Once we find ourselves and our place as individuals and on the local level, those local communities will begin to expand and radiate health. Isolated pockets of sanity and sustainability will gradually merge into each other until we have more healing and positive reinforcements than not on this planet. It’s already happening, but we can amplify these effects by studying Nature and emulating her wisdom.

Which brings me back to today’s earworm:

Fly Like An Eagle (Lyrics by Steve Miller)

“Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I’m free
Oh, Lord, through the revolution

Feed the babies
Who don’t have enough to eat
Shoe the children
With no shoes on their feet
House the people
Livin’ in the street
Oh, oh, there’s a solution

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I’m free
Fly through the revolution

Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future

I want to fly like an eagle
To the sea
Fly like an eagle
Let my spirit carry me
I want to fly like an eagle
Till I’m free
Fly through the revolution

Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future
Time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’
Into the future”

Goodbye 2012 and Hello 2013! Happy New Year!

A Fork in the Road

“There is a road from the eye to heart that does not go through the intellect.” ~Gilbert K. Chesterton

“Hope is like a road in the country; there was never a road, but when many people walk on it, the road comes into existence.” ~Lin Yutang

“Not all who wander are lost.” ~J.R.R. Tolkien

Where are you wandering? Which path do you choose?

“If you overesteem great men,
people become powerless.
If you overvalue possessions,
people begin to steal.

“The Master leads
by emptying people’s minds
and filling their cores,
by weakening their ambition
and toughening their resolve.
He helps people lose everything
they know, everything they desire,
and creates confusion
in those who think that they know.

“Practice not-doing,
and everything will fall into place.” ~Tao Te Ching

Forced Power

Thanks to Gillian for bringing this important message from Jamye Price to my attention. Regular blog readers know I’m a huge fan of “power to, not power over.”

Jamye Price ~ Forced Power

August 2012 Newsletter | August 2 2012

We are in a phase of release, letting go. It takes a master’s careful observation, patience and courage to assess with honesty. You are responsible for the Self only, and yet part of that responsibility entails the collective, as the Self can not be fully extricated from All Life. We eat it, breathe it, imbibe it and share what we have processed within. The circle continues. When you interact with yourself, you are still emitting vibrational information into the Field of Life. When you interact with another, it seems more impactful because we have something solid in front of us, yet Lightwarriors know better. Creation begins within, in the malleable and responsive subtle waves seeking particle form. It is here, within, that control has its benefit; though that control is merely focus, and that focus is Love.

Forced Power, or control, has been the norm for millennia. If we control the actions of another, we have a sense of power. If we control the emotions of another, we have a sense of peace. If we control the environment so that temptation is abated, we have a sense of piety. With Forced Power, we are actually avoiding the real empowerment, which is a focused perspective of Love within – when all experience is at the very least tolerable, but ideally exciting new balance. When you control the circumstances outside of yourself, you are not exercising your inner muscles, therefore, you have less capability to withstand the challenges. A Lightworker’s job is to shine Light where it is most challenging, within the depths of fear, anger or abuse. You do that in many ways, but the most liberating is within, and from that space of enduring bright Love Light, you shine unto others the reflection of their inner core. Freedom and unity are the result.

As we sit to Blast Forced Power, we are releasing the need to control the world and easing into Loving the Self so deeply that Love becomes visible in All around you. We are allowing the world to find its liberating equilibrium from pain by showing the new way of Loving Life so deeply that even a challenge is a mirror of freedom. We are controlling the mind’s focus into the peace that passes all understanding, as Freedom becomes so powerful within that life becomes an exciting adventure. Blast on!

Meredith Murphy — July Energy Reflections — The Fruit of 2012

Yeah! What she says… (Thanks, Lucas).

Meredith Murphy — July Energy Reflections — The Fruit of 2012

The fruits of 2012 are beginning to ripen.

The theme reflected in the energy currents collectively right now is one of harvest, along with deep unearthing and re-grounding. The empowerment is to elevate our life and shift into a manifest wholeness mirroring our transformation since the March Equinox. The wizard approach to this is gentle perseverance and amused confidence.

Yes. In a true hint of the zero-point and our emerging multidimensionality, it’s time for ripe fruit and up-turning the earth. In the same way the Zen story says that the moment we place our oar in the water we are already at the other side. There is a mystical quality to things right now where we see and already feel the benefit of doing the work even before we’ve begun. It’s revealing that shift to the inner planes that we’ve been experiencing more and more–where we know the fullness, the Holus-Bolus aspect of things right in their inception. It’s the glimpse of living life feeling the blueprint, the template, the holographic map of things and living from this innate clarity and coherence. It’s your key to trust.

Revisiting the deeply entrenched ways of creating our experience that don’t serve is is helping us access and clarify layers of energy. This is a natural way of elevating patterns and ways of being. We’re drawn to notice deep roots and themes in our ways of being that have impeded our joy. This may be frustrating and painful because what’s happening first is that we notice this old limiting way of being everywhere and we see the quality of where we want to be everywhere, and sense it’s time to be there! Perhaps we feel impatient. Clumsy in our effort to create this even though we feel the right-timing of things.

Your sense of this right-timing is accurate. You can trust this. There is tremedous support for personal change at deep and empowering levels of life right now. To embrace this we simply have to sense the whole and then gradually build the bridge in our reality from here to there with our focus and our perseverence.

This is the grounding part of things where we stay in our life, present and we plant new thought-forms, more empowering ways of being and doing are selected and through our devotion to them, our acts of love, we spiral upward in our expression of life.

Life is becoming increasingly multidimensional. We’re experiencing energy of many streams of our being and they’re merging. Lots of us are retrieving our light-body patterns from other life experiences and resolving these into wholeness. Through this courageous and masterful dedication, we are expanded and increase our energy presence here and now. You may be doing this even if you’re not consciously remembering another life, but feeling layers of emotion around patterns of behavior or thought. It helps us participate in the opportunities right now more fully to elevate our perspective. Then we can appreciate the clarity we’re experiencing when we have these strong feelings about old patterns; we’re really being shown what’s ripe and can move.

We’re starting, in this experience, to taste the fruits of 2012–the year of multidimensionality and unity. This is in essence our whole purpose here–to tap into and remember our multidimensionality and to move our unique vertical spiral of expression into greater wholeness, and to feel deeply and confidently, our unity with all life.

A beneficial gaze at yourself right now is gentle attentiveness and encouraging love. Don’t fall into old patterns of having “tried to shift these things before and here they are again.” Stay in the present moment, empowered, wise and clear as to who you want to be and revise reality accordingly.

Loving you always.

Blessings and light,

Interview on Ascension in PEA GREEN BOAT

Just a quick note that the PEA GREEN BOAT Midsummer 2012 issue is out, with the theme, “Ascend.” I had the honor to give a short interview about Ascension, and Denise Le Fay is featured in there, too. You can read the entire online issue here.

Happy Full Moon!

Theatre of the Absurd

Dear Spectacle:

You are now far too distorted to resemble even a hint of reality, not even 3Dality. I’m walking out of your show, and you can keep my playbill. Some people enjoy the mind games and this peculiar type of drama, but it’s not really my cuppa tea.

Speaking of tea, I’ll be having some tea. And cake. Raw chocolate birthday cake with my dearest love. If any actors, producers or puppeteers need me I’ll be away with the faeries. At least their Rules make sense:

“No Rudeness.
Respect, not Control.
A person’s word is bond.”

I bid you adieu and leave you to your deus ex machina.

Lee Harris April 2012 Energy Forecast

I just love finding Lee’s forecasts after the month has already begun. That gives me a chance to notice my own patterns and themes, as well as those of clients. As usual, Lee Harris articulates so much of what I’ve sensed in late March leading into April and then observed in sessions this month. Good news for people who feel like life just won’t let up:

“April marks the end of a cycle and the close to chapter 1 of 2012 energetically speaking.

“May will start a new cycle for us, so this month will bring an end to the death cycles that so many have been going through these past months. Fragments from the past will finally resolve, physical energy will start to lift, and the hibernation period will draw to a close for most of you.

“I do not need to repeat that these are intense times we are living in, for we are highly aware of this. But what I do need to repeat, is that the difficult symptoms of your journey will be unquestionably improved by greater focus on your physical and emotional well-being.” ~Lee Harris

I hope you enjoy the rest of his forecast.

Please note: If you feel you need extra energetic support this month, I did bring back the Ascension Coaching Packages through April 23, 2012. We’ve got a lot of energy zapping this planet from inside out and upside down. If you can align yourself with Source, you can tap into that increased energy and use it to make quantum leaps. If you find yourself out of alignment with Source, you’ll feel frazzled, erratic, in danger, fried, and/or burned out. The Ascension Coaching Packages are designed to shift you back into your own natural connection with Source. Yes, you can heal and evolve quickly enough to conduct that energy instead of getting shocked. We live in potent, electric times. I wish you all the best, always and in all ways. Namaste.

More Awakening and Empowerment

For those of you who missed my History is Being Made post, or who prefer reading to listening, David Wilcock recently released a transcript of his interview with Pentagon insider “Drake.” In addition to the interview itself, David includes even more insider information about periods of near-military-coups in recent history. He describes the Watergate scandal as running far deeper than most of the civilian population ever realized, with striking parallels to 9/11 and today.

Over 1.3 million people tuned in to hear Drake’s followup interview on Freedom Reigns. The saying goes, “Where two or more are gathered, there am I among them,” highlighting the intensified power of collective focus. In this case, we’ve got over a million people focusing on an End to Financial Tyranny, Divine Intervention, and an age of greater ease and freedom than this planet has known for many aeons. As a Lightworker in 2012, I feel it’s important for people to contribute in whatever ways they can to raise the vibration of this planet. We face some incredible challenges, but we also stand to inherit generations worth of hopes, dreams and intentions for freedom. Understanding the stakes helps us more clearly to visualize solutions and to find our own part in the whole. How can we each support the unfolding of our most preferred scenario?

I believe the original interview and the global interest it sparked contain valuable keys for freeing ourselves; however, not everyone will resonate with what Drake and David share. And that’s OK, too. If you find all of these “conspiracy facts” new, confusing, and overwhelming, you might want to take a step back and view “Thrive: What on Earth Will it Take?” This movie explains how our world got to where we are now, but it ends with phenomenal hope and practical solutions. If you already know what’s been happening and want to focus only on positive, proactive vibrations, that’s wonderful, too. As Abraham-Hicks says, “One person connected to Source is more powerful than one million who are not.”

It matters less what or how you participate in your life and your reality than that you do actively participate in your life and reality. A non-vote = a vote for a pretty crappy default reality, which will continue to shift according to those people actively molding it for you. “Create your own reality, or someone else will.” In order to create your own reality, you don’t need to know every detail of how your governments, banks, pharmaceutical companies, medical profession and religions have betrayed your confidence. Sometimes that information helps you to form stronger desires that align more clearly with what you truly want. But such knowledge isn’t required.

In order to exert positive, creative influence on your world you simply need to show up, dream big, and get out of your own way. Allow yourself to receive the wondrous things you’d most love to experience. For some people that will feel very personal; for others, it will feel global or even cosmic. Anyone interested in living in a freer, more peaceful, awakened society might want to consider the Drake-Wilcock interview as a fabulous launching pad.

And for those of you who prefer non-participatory participation, here’s a meditation for your personal power center, Manipura. A balanced Collective Solar Plexus = transcendence of the entire victim-abuser-savior cycle. As within, so without. Peace in, peace out!

Why Telepathy Makes People Mad

Someone contacted me this morning about her increasing telepathic gifts, and our discussion reminded me of this article I wrote way back in 2008. That seems like forever ago, but I enjoyed the review, as world events and the worldwide awakening have continued to lead us more in the direction of Universal Telepathy. My original post rushed through me after I synchronously stumbled upon an online argument about Steve Pavlina “going off the deep end” and “talking to spiders.” Little did I know that my own post would create an even bigger stir as some people on Steve’s forums and in the blogosphere embraced new possibilities while others ramped up their denial in aggressive ways.

Given the massive doses of Truth sleeping masses on Earth are about to receive, this revelation-denial-acceptance-liberation process has even bigger implications for our changing world in 2012. I hope you enjoy my trip down memory/future lane:

Why Telepathy Makes People Mad

With the growing interest in Animal Communication, uber-bloggers like Steve Pavlina talking to spiders, and more people embracing higher vibration foods, also comes a backlash from people who would rather maintain old boundaries and a “comfortable” sense of separation. Anger, outrage, scorn and disbelief explode as those who accept (or at least explore) ideas of Oneness make their voices heard in larger and different ways.

Despite diatribes against talking to ants, I really don’t believe people hate bugs that much. They just don’t want to think of bugs as sentient, conscious beings, because, let’s face it: if the bugs have feelings and respond to us, then what does that say about animals and humans? And what about “no see ’ems” like angels, extraterrestrials, spirit guides, and disembodied souls? When you start talking about bugs as conscious beings with whom we can communicate, you open a whole ‘nother can of (potentially thinking and feeling) worms!

This polarization occurs in areas besides Animal Communication. My deaf niece Amanda recently received a cochlear implant and for the first time in her life has begun to hear. I have several contacts in the deaf community, and from what I understand, cochlear implants have become incredibly controversial. Parts of the deaf community feel that hearing will rob children of the gifts of being deaf, while others laud how technological progress opens possibilities. Many people have so appreciated my sister-in-law’s careful chronical of Amanda’s journey, because it brings this controvery back to individuals simply documenting their experience. Their blogs acknowledge the challenges but also share a sense of joy and liberation at Amanda’s growing ability to communicate in different ways.

The controversy of cochlear implants has actually reached the national level, as advances in hearing technology have literally changed expectations and responsibilities for educating the deaf. Teachers who cannot hear and who communicate with ASL (American Sign Language) only, must now find ways to help students with CI’s embrace other languages and techniques. People who have never used their own voice must now teach others to use theirs. How do schools find a balance among so many different levels of hearing, speaking and awareness? What does it mean to be deaf in 2008? Emotions on both sides mirror what’s taking place in the world at large.

Consider how communication has changed and expanded exponentially in recent years. When the World Wide Web initially appeared, some people “got” the potential, but very few could predict just how much it would revolutionize our world. Within a few short years, “everyone” was online. Communities like MySpace, Facebook, GI2MR, Twitter, eHarmony, and others have practically eliminated space-time restrictions to communication and relationship. It’s no longer unusual for folks to have friends on several continents, even if they’ve never left their own country.

The advent of blogging and e-books has further crunched time and space. We no longer need to wait for publishers and printers to release our messages. One click of the “publish” or “post” button does the trick, making words, sounds and images immediately available to millions. Translation software turns language differences into a non-issue, and viral videos like Dancing with the Universe go beyond words altogether.

Even the news media has had to reckon with YouTube. Primary debates allowed videos from actual voters asking questions of the candidates, and today’s presidential race dodges daily influence from blogs, pirate videos and online fact-checkers. Today, I saw a political analyst on TV, superimposed by his Twitter account with viewers asking him “real-time” questions.

For those of you not familiar with Twitter, it differs from email in that everyone can follow your conversations with everyone else. Talk about communication transparency! If you sign up to “follow” someone on Twitter, you can view their “tweets” all day long, along with online archives of all correspondence. In a sense you merge your consciousness with theirs, past, present and with the opportunity of future tweets. The catch? The messages must be conveyed in 140 characters or less. Thus, shorthand and abbreviations dominate, just like in animal communication sessions or sign language. Oddly evocative of Haiku, Twitter encourages its “tweeters” to convey much with little.

Major news programs now request photos and text messages from ordinary people’s cells and Blackberries. Why? Because it’s faster; they get immediate coverage. Thus, the desire to crush time as a factor in communication has democratized the news. Significant enough numbers of people have tired of the elite forms of information distribution. En masse and individually, they have finally said, “No, thank you” to old boundaries, hierarchies and separation. They have reclaimed and/or invented new means of communication that transcend the bounds of time and space. The more this happens, the more we’ve moved into COMMUNicatION. Crunch it just a little more, and you get COMMUNION. Oneness.

So, why does telepathy make people mad?

Because telepathy means change. Mainstreaming telepathy means an inevitable collapse of all the boundaries, fences, walls and judgments that keep things separate. It means lies we tell ourselves and others will become more transparent. It means intention becomes a more powerful and obvious force. It means that those whose power comes from secrecy or fear mongering will eventually lose their sway. Because individuals refuse to be silenced: man, woman, child, animal, bug, angel, extraterrestrial … they’re all exploring new ways to hear and help themselves be heard. The intense emotions and attacks in the deaf and Animal Communication arenas only amplify what’s happening everywhere else.

The writing is already on the wall. And in the blogs. And paintings and tweets and chat rooms. I’m reminded here of William Wordsworth:

The world is too much with us; late and soon,
Getting and spending, we lay waste our powers:
Little we see in Nature that is ours;
We have given our hearts away, a sordid boon!
The Sea that bares her bosom to the moon;
The winds that will be howling at all hours,
And are up-gathered now like sleeping flowers;
For this, for everything, we are out of tune;
It moves us not.–Great God! I’d rather be
A Pagan suckled in a creed outworn;
So might I, standing on this pleasant lea,
Have glimpses that would make me less forlorn;
Have sight of Proteus rising from the sea;
Or hear old Triton blow his wreathed horn.

In reality, we’re really not that far from universal telepathy. Think about it: fifty years ago, few people thought the deaf would ever hear; fewer people imagined sending “Instant Messages” to people in different time zones; and almost no one expected someone named Steve Pavlina to talk to spiders!

Whether or not people “believe in evolution,” we’re all in it. Right this very moment, humans and this planet are evolving. The Mayan Calendar, E.T. channelings and the New Age movement all suggest a movement to the 4th dimension, one in which time functions in a very different way. One which emphasizes timing more than time. Synchronicity. This shift involves a change of vibration, perhaps the very vibration heralded by raw foodists and long time meditators. In the end, though, it doesn’t really matter which route you choose, because the tide is strong now.

You don’t need to read esoteric spiritual teaching to recognize the forces of change. Turn on the news. Look at the stock market. 777 point drop on 9/29? The US Financial Market in a shambles? The barriers have already begun to crumble. CNN’s feature on raw food generated unprecedented interest. We have a black man in the running for president. Oprah’s talking about past lives. You can “tweet” from anywhere. Technology, Telepathy, Synchronicity, and Oneness. “The Word is very near. It is in your mouth and in your heart that you may observe it.”

Isn’t it time we do?
