Timothy Glenn ~ Superconscious Technique

Here’s a different type of post from Timothy Glenn. It can appeal to artists and scientists alike, and it provides effective ways to hack your own inner programming. Tim’s article came through via email just after I posted yesterday’s Dolores Cannon video. As synchronicity would have it, they go well together like theory and technique.

Superconscious Technique

by Timothy Glenn

Sometimes we dust off an old book and reread it, discovering that it now offers a whole new experience. Sometimes we pull an old technique out of our memory banks, and find it works more effectively than ever. Such has been the case with the Superconscious Technique.

I initially encountered the Superconscious Technique back in the early 90’s through a group called Extraterrestrial Earth Mission. A lot of us adopted it, and then adapted it to suit ourselves. After retrieving it from the halls of memory a few months ago, I reworked it yet again to fit the current reality.

This is not presented here as though it were carved in stone, as if reality were a “one size fits all” proposition. Since we are an evolving species, it helps if our modalities evolve with us. You may find that some of the wording doesn’t quite work for you, but can be edited as you see fit.

How Much Do You Want What You Want?

This wonderful little story and description just crossed my path, and I thought I’d share the inspiration. It’s from page 119 of Dr. Joseph Murphy’s book, “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind”:

How Much Do You Want What You Want?”

“A young man asked Socrates how he could get wisdom. Socrates replied, ‘Come with me.’ He took the lad to a river, pushed the boy’s head under the water, held it there until the boy was gasping for air, then relaxed and released his head. When the boy regained his composure, he asked him, ‘What did you desire most when you were under water?’

“‘I wanted air,’ said the boy.

“Socrates said to him, ‘When you want wisdom as much as you wanted air when you were immersed in the water, you will receive it.’

“Likewise, when you really have an intense desire to overcome any block in your life, and you come to a clear-cut decision that there is a way out, and that is the course you wish to follow, then victory and triumph are assured.

“If you really want peace of mind and inner calm, you will get it. Regardless of how unjustly you have been treated, or how unfair the boss has been, or what a mean scoundrel someone has proved to be, all this makes no difference to you when you awaken to your mental and spiritual powers. You know what you want, and you will definitely refuse to let the thieves (thoughts) of hatred, anger, hostility, and ill will rob you of peace, harmony, health, and happiness. You cease to become upset by people, conditions, news, and events by identifying your thoughts immediately with your aim in life. You aim is peace, health, inspiration, harmony, and abundance. Feel a river of peace flowing through you now. Your thought is the immaterial and invisible power, and you choose to let it bless, inspire, and give you peace.”

I love this! It also leads into answers to some emailed questions I’ve recently received about what psychic or intuitive readings can or can’t do, as well as how the Ascension Packages are best utilized. Since I’ve received multiple variations of these questions, I thought I’d share some general insights here:

1. Will I get fired or quit my job?
2. Will I get unemployment benefits?
3. Will I eventually get a meaningful/satisfying job in _____ career?
4. Will I move out of _____, and where would I move?
5. Will I find my life path or reason for being here?
6. Will I get well?

Are you able to give definitive answers to these questions?

These are definitely questions that we can explore in a session, although the depth and number of them would likely require more than one session. Life does not work in a predetermined fashion such that there is a simple yes or no to each of these questions. The answers very much depend upon your habitual thoughts, intentions, vibration, preferences, willingness or unwillingness to take action, possible past life issues causing resistance, and sensing the most supportive timing for changes in your life.

I would suggest some Intuitive Life Coaching Sessions (aka Ascension Packages) in order to help you decide which options feel right to you and how best to position your intentions and vibration to attract those changes. I can help you better understand the likely outcomes based on your energy/vibration at the time of the session, but please know that this is not set in stone. That’s the beauty of intuitive work! We have free will to make inner changes if we don’t like the likely outcome. Those inner changes shift outer reality.

I would be happy to have an hour long tarot session with you if you would like that as a springboard. It would show the most dominant factors influencing your life right now. I also offer Intuitive Life Path Assessments, which do look more specifically at life path and choice points. I am able to fill in details if they are past life related, as well as help you to shift focus and energy in a more positive way. For now, I am leaning more towards a tarot session for you, though, because you have so many diverse questions. The tarot cards automatically select the most pressing focus. I just want to be clear that NO ONE can tell you an accurate predetermined future. The very best psychics can tell you the most likely outcome based on your current energy patterns, but you are ALWAYS free to shift those patterns if you don’t like the most likely outcome. Reclaiming your own free will and responsibility for co-creating your life is an important step in beginning to live the life you desire.

Wondering if in the Ascension Packages life coaching packages one would receive readings including Medical Intuition, Intuitive Life Path Assessments and Soul Readings if needed?

Yes, the Ascension Packages are designed as a fast track using all my gifts to help people identify and then have the support to move through whatever resistance is slowing their journey. For most people, this involves many different levels, not just a single focus. I designed the Ascension Packages to help people who want to shift take the next steps of commitment and action on their path.

Can I share the bundled Ascension Packages with friends and family?

Yes, you can share the 5-pack or 11-pack with your husband or your mother (i.e. immediate family), but not with friends. You can let friends know that I have the majorly discounted packages for multiple sessions, but they are really for individual or possibly immediate family use. You have until the end of 2013 to use the packages. That said, they are designed to fast track people through the accelerating energies, so ideally you would move more quickly than that. My aim in putting these out there is really to help individuals in turn raise the collective vibration as much as possible.

Will you be setting up a dependency situation, in which I need to have sessions with you indefinitely?

Absolutely not! Free will and personal empowerment are two hallmarks of my life and work. I always look to empower others to help themselves. That’s the basis of this blog and all my books, classes, sessions and intentions. Sometimes people hit a roadblock or desire to shift more quickly than circumstances would seem to allow. I view my skills, gifts and knowledge as tools, which I’m happy to pass along. The more people we have on this planet taking responsibility for their own lives and reality creation, the better collective experience we can all enjoy! I especially love helping other Lightworkers to step more fully into their own power, since the ripple effects grow exponentially.

How do I book a session with you?

Please contact me, including your time zone and any known time parameters such as if you work between 9-5 or can only speak on weekends. I have so many international clients that I do not work standard hours. I do my best to accommodate varying time zones and schedules, provided I have room in my own schedule. If you do not know what kind of service you’d like, you are welcome to share a very brief description of what you’re hoping to accomplish in the session(s). I can help you assess what service and session length would provide most benefit.

Peace and Joy! ~Laura

Synchronicity, Sales, Affirmations and the Power of Prayer

Hi Everyone,
Today I just wanted to share what amounts to a personal mantra I’ve been saying for years. I realized when sharing it with some clients recently that this simple affirmation has truly shaped my life in miraculous, magical ways:

“I am always in the right place, at the right time.”

I’ve said this, not as an intentional affirmation, but rather as a description of how my life works — why I “always” get the lucky breaks, why I “always” know to move right before some kind of disaster happens where I’ve been living, why I “always” get money in when I most need it, and why I “always” just happen to meet exactly the right people. This has been going on consciously since I had my first sales job selling Canon copiers and fax machines to businesses, way back in 1996-1997.

You might not realize it, but I’m actually a very shy person. The only reason I keep my poise when I give talks and classes, and the only reason I can talk to so many people I’ve never met before during phone sessions is because I pray. A lot. Back when I worked for Canon, the company required us to make 25 cold calls a day. For those who don’t know, a cold call means walking uninvited into a business, dropping off your business card and giving them a little spiel about your company and whatever you sell. For a shy person like me, this part of the job terrified me. I got so scared of bothering people that I would often feel paralyzed into a nap instead of work. I would drive home instead of to my territory, crawl under the covers and berate myself for not working. Since I couldn’t survive on my base salary, my “cold call disability” added to the already crippling stress of needing to meet a monthly quota. How, how, how, would I ever meet my quota without making the required 25 cold calls per day, in addition to those equally unpleasant “warm calls” to current customers who might possibly be bothered (er, convinced) into upgrading?

I found that the most cold calls I could handle per day was seven, and even that number required a vanilla milkshake from McDonald’s as my reward. Yes, that sounds insane to me now, but in 1996, it kind of worked as an incentive. Kind of. Eventually, I got tired of vanilla milkshakes, and I noticed they made me feel even worse. Nope, nothing seemed to help the sinking feeling in my gut every time I thought about driving from the office to my territory. Just a quick detour would take me to my bed, where I could hide under the covers, safe from scornful eyes, disdainful secretaries, competitive sales reps, and high heels. But I needed the money from quota sales and bonuses. I also sensed that I had stumbled into this job for a reason.

Truly at my wits’ end, I began to pray. I tried to pray for courage and stamina to make those 25 cold calls per day, but I couldn’t even bring myself to ask for that. I wanted nothing to do with that method. Instead, I asked my boss why the company required new reps to make that number of cold calls. He explained that they had calculated the 25 based on a law of averages. Out of this number of cold calls, x number would be completely worthless, y would lead to a follow-up appointment, and z would lead to enough sales that month to hit quota. “So,” I asked, “it’s really just about meeting quota?” “Well, yes, of course!” he replied. “It’s a number’s game.”

That gave me something to work with. I decided that my number was seven — because I like seven and also because it happened to be the most cold calls I could make in one day without wanting to die. Fair enough. I spent a bit of time in my car wondering what to pray for and finally decided to ask that my seven cold calls per day would generate enough leads and sales to hit or exceed my monthly quota every single month.

And that’s when I began to notice it: “I am always in the right place, at the right time.” I suddenly developed a knack for getting “lost” in my territory, going somewhere completely “unplanned” and walking into the office for a cold call right after their copier or fax machine had just broken down. Instead of getting shooed out of the office, I was welcomed with comments like, “You must be an Angel! Oh, thank God! We didn’t know WHAT we were going to do. We’re right in the middle of this project. The last thing we have time for is a comparative copier search.” “Wow! Some timing. Did you know we’d need to see you today? What have you got for us? How fast can we move through this sales process?”

At the offices I visited who weren’t having a synchronous equipment crisis, I experienced other winks from the Divine. For several weeks, every single new secretary I met greeted me with a warm smile, “Oh, it’s SO nice to see you again! We’ve missed you and wondered when you’d come by to check in on us. Do you have anything to leave with us? We’ll be in the market for an upgrade soon.” At first, I tried to argue with them that I was new and no, we’d never met before. They would have none of that, though. They just laughed as though I’d told some kind of funny joke. It made them like me more.

From the moment I started praying for inspiration and Divine presence during my cold calls, magic seemed to follow me around. I once cold called what turned out to be a Catholic Church in disguise. “No,” said the nun who answered the door, “we don’t need a copier, but come in child, you have a special glow around you.” She proceeded to give me some kind of prophecy about how I had such a huge light in me that I would spread around the world, in whatever ways I encountered people. Then she gave me a blessing and asked me to visit her whenever I was in the area and felt discouraged. Funny thing: I could never find that “church” again, and when I asked people who knew my territory better than I did, they said nothing like the place I described existed there. It was a volunteer firehouse!

I’ve since had so many inexplicable experiences (and a brain injury!) that I no longer require proof or understanding of all the ins and outs of how prayer works. I just know that it does. Prayer works better than anything I know, and if you can combine that prayer with an affirmation of the prayer’s answer, so much the better. “I am always in the right place, at the right time.” Indeed, I am. And you can be, too! Just ask for Divine guidance in all your ways. I sometimes add, “I am always in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, and I am a blessing to myself and others.” Life continues to prove this to me so often that this affirmation no longer feels like an affirmation, but rather an irrefutable fact.

I’ve grown so accustomed to my magical life that sometimes I forget that many people don’t live this way. I expect miracles, and I receive an abundance of them. When a friend speaks in limited terms to me as though “that’s the way life is,” I feel taken aback for a moment. I don’t tend to pick up on sarcasm very well, so I need to run their limiting comments through my humor filter to determine if they’re joking. I know what they’ve just said to me isn’t true, but do they know it isn’t true? I know they can tap into Source, God, Divine, Holy Spirit, Great Spirit, the Tao, their Subconscious, their Higher Self … whatever they want to call it … and immediately generate whatever circumstances necessary to create or discover what they need. I have no doubt, because for me, this is just how life is. Even my rational mind agrees since it has at least a fifteen year history of repeated proof.

Sometimes people say to me, “I wish I had your faith. You obviously have the gift of faith. I admire that, but I don’t have it. You get things because you believe in them, but I don’t know how to believe.” If faith is a gift, it’s one I asked for. What’s the point of praying to quell anxiety if you don’t also feel the peace of knowing your prayer will be answered?! If I have any trouble believing a prayer will be answered, I tack on an extra prayer to that one, “And please help me to know for sure that the Universe is working on this for me. Give me little signs, winks, nudges, and give me the discernment to recognize them.” Because again, what’s the point of signs, winks and nudges if you don’t see them? Very often clients complain to me that they’ve asked for signs and they’re “not getting any.” Then they proceed to recap the most magical week in a monotone voice, completely unaware of the Divine dancing in their midst! After some cajoling, they start to see the power of prayer in action.

Abraham-Hicks calls this process, “Ask and It Is Given.” Jesus said, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.” I say, ask for whatever you need, and it will come to you. Ask for eyes to see, ears to hear, and ask for faith if you want faith. If you want to live a magical, miraculous life, start participating in your relationship with the Divine. Start engaging the Universe. Like any friendship, it can take a bit of time to develop trust. You don’t usually turn to a stranger in a time of crisis and expect to have effortlessly complete trust in that person — unless you sense that they are in tune with something much grander than an “ordinary” stranger. Well guess what, folks? We are all capable of tuning into Source. We are all vessels for the Divine. The word “inspiration” comes from Spiros, the same word for breath. If you are alive, you can literally inhale inspiration. But please don’t hold your breath: exhale those blessings everywhere you go. Then you, too, will be one of those magical strangers. You, too, will become the miraculous presence that calms the storm and uplifts the downtrodden.

In case you’re wondering whatever happened to my sales job, I hit every monthly quota from that day forth. I earned every bonus I wanted, and I received a promotion offer for the most coveted position in the company (several steps above my entry level position) within less than a year of experience. I opted not to take this $300K/year position because it didn’t resonate with my heart’s desires. Instead, I felt called to take a different sales job, which I was offered through one of those Divinely directed cold calls. That job served its purpose as well, and when I refused to follow my screaming intuition to quit at a particular time and do spiritual work, I had the car accident that led directly to the professional Medical Intuitive work I’ve been doing for a decade. All roads lead to bliss, but some of those roads are more pleasant than others. 😉

Yes, it feels like such a strangely short forever, but I have been doing professional Medical Intuitive readings for ten years this month. Much gratitude and love to all my angels, God, Dream Guys, clients, readers and students: Namaste.
