This dream feels bigger than just my own. It did not feel fearful — just a portent of massive change ahead:

“Storm and Tunnel”
Some of this reflects an actual thunderstorm with hail (I think) happening while we slept. I don’t know how much of this was me lying awake in bed listening to the storm and having visions — or me dreaming with the storm amplifying the dream.
I lay in bed and HUGE crashes of thunder rumbled then shook the window and walls. We have blackout curtains, so I couldn’t “see” the lightning, but in the dream I could. I lay there almost shivering like an animal under the covers.
This felt like the end of an era storm, apocalyptic. I watched epochs split and move apart. I sensed that nothing would ever be the same again. This felt solemn and inevitable, like the heavens decreed the change, and then it poured forth.
At some point I thought I was awake and had only been dreaming. I wandered out to the kitchen and opened the curtains above the sink. There was a massive tunnel from our tree line to the house, with a large, round hole in the ground about six feet in front of the evergreens. I instinctively knew a groundhog dug the tunnel and that we could do nothing to save our foundation.
The yard buckled, kind of dipped towards the tunnel and then rose up on either side like a bird in flight with the body lower than the wings. A combination of the storm and this super groundhog had done this. I called David to the window where I stood with mouth agape in awe.
We could not fight this. It was too big, above AND below. There was no remedy.
Then I was back in bed and realized I dreamed that part. It was still dark and the storm was moving on a bit — not so intense. I must have fallen asleep and dreamed the sequence again, because when I awoke with David getting out of bed, I asked if he was getting up.
He said yes, that his alarm had been going off for 20 minutes. I hadn’t stirred because in my dream the thunder remained loud. I told David there was a huge storm last night with what I thought was hail. He had heard none of it, but confirmed possible hail and thunderstorms were in the forecast.
When I eventually got up, it had clearly rained a lot, but I don’t see hail. I heard it — whether in real life or the dream, I don’t know …

A client talked with me about pocket gophers yesterday, so that might have played some part in the dream imagery, although it was much bigger than a pocket! I’ve also been listening to Rising From the Plains while I bike. Maybe some of the creation of mountains found its way into my dream imagery with the buckled yard.
That said, this felt like a significant dream, not just a rehash of the day’s stimuli.

Feeling this so deeply as well. In meditation on 7/6 I heard/saw HUGE winds of change and heard it will be “epic” and the end of an “epoch” and spirit chuckled at the play on words. 🙂

What you sensed is correct. Massive change is coming. Change which we, in our own selves and abilities, cannot avert or influence for the better. Things have gone too far at this point energetically to turn things back or transmute what is coming. We must go through it.
What to do? Realize we have no control over what is coming. We only have control over our response to it and what we choose to believe and hold fast to during it.
Both the visible and invisible realities of our world are about to convulse. Our visible world was created out of what is unseen and remains tethered to those unseen but very real energies.
The time is NOW to go within and prepare ourselves inwardly as best we can for what is to come. Choosing what we believe in and will hold fast to when it comes. The book of Revelation in the Bible speaks of this time. So does the book of Matthew in chapter 7 verses 24-27 KJV when it speaks of building our house on a rock rather than on sand.
What to do in the meantime? Breathe. Give thanks. Love on your family and friends. Be true and speak truth when asked. And strengthen your inner being and faith.

Wow! I can feel the intensity from the description! I’ve been having lots of half awake dreams lately, been waking up at 2AM most mornings now, fighting to get back to sleep.
This might be silly, but I rewatched Batman Rising over the weekend. “A Storm is Coming” was a phrase used several times and thus time that phrase gave me the willies.
The dream also reminds me of Goodbye Blue Sky by Pink Floyd.
Your dream definitely is in alignment with my sense and visions of a major shift/change on the horizon. In fact I was shown the “time of choosing” back in 2001ish? At the time I dug my heels in and said both sides are rubbish, I’m opting out. This time opting out doesn’t feel like an option.

A very symbolically simple dream. So then whom would the gopher be? It feels like gophers represent Plutonian energy, at least on the “good” side of things; it’s hard to imagine an evil gopher although they sure can do annoying damage. Perhaps this dream represents the dark side/deep state pushing the earth too far and having the house fall in on them? Overall, I’ve been sensing a relatively long waiting period for a few months now, but haven’t been sure what the dynamic was that it was being caused by. A temporary stalemate perhaps, or a massing of energies of some kind waiting to make a “break?” Lastly, but relatedly, I am coming to believe that we can have a smoother and less destructive transition to the “New Earth” if we more actively create it, although it might take more time than a more sudden breaking down/breaking through. Any thoughts connecting this dream to that?

Oh, yes, very much so: I’ve gotten that message for over a decade, that we can have a smoother and less destructive transition if we more actively create it.
On the personal level, this dream comes with much larger, personal context, and yes, I have very much been creating the new and receiving confirmation that doing so has made things much more gentle. Even in the dream. it didn’t feel fearful. Just momentous.
I feel the slow down is the ongoing Saturn square Uranus energy of this entire year, plus the US is very much in its Pluto Return. That has not gone exact yet, but we’ve been feeling the energy for years.

Could be. I did an anagram generator of my birth name yesterday. One of the anagrams was “grail public reawakened.” There were several in there that indicated something happening to my brain. 🙂

Yes, Diana, I usually write them out longhand in a dream journal and then type into my laptop, with additional commentary or insights based on things they sometimes tell me to investigate. It takes more time — sometimes a LOT of time, since I’m a prolific dreamer, but I find the longhand helps the recall stay in that dreamy space. If I jump onto the computer right away, there’s a high chance I’ll get bombarded with emails or other things so that I don’t get the raw data or feelings that I do by writing it in a journal first. xx

Hi, like others commenting here I’ve had a feeling something big is comIng. With your dream I thought the gopher tunnelling under the foundations symbolzes the way the foundatins of the old are being undermined right now. The gopher is a digging animal and coud be about turning over the earth (the ground of being) so that the seeds of the new can germinate. The storm could be about the crash and fury of the old collapsing . Just some ideas… 😀

Doubt any context here, but early this morning (Sat. July 10th, ’21) I had something happen in my dream that I’ve never experienced before. For what it’s worth sharing:
I recognized this tall woman having been in an earlier dream of mine. I was lucid, because I remember thinking: “I know this woman from a prior dream.” I couldn’t remember the details of our crossing paths in the prior dream, but I instantly recognized her.
She was driving a car from Europe sitting on the right side behind the steering wheel. I had walked over to her car, and looking through the open passenger window, she had what appeared to be two drug-zombied passengers in the back seat.
Even though it was determined we lived in opposite North/South directions, she convinced me that I was on her way and I should follow her home.
Crazy. I’ve had this happen in waking life, but never in a dream. Thanks for sharing your dream Laura.

Yes, a very large change iis coming. It involves both the seen and unseen worlds. It cannot be averted nor abstained from. All one can do is focus on one’s responses to it. There is a need to both hold fast to one’s beliefs and what one feels to be true AND, at the same time, a need to also be open to adding to or expanding one’s beliefs and what one feels to be true.
When this momentous change arrives in full force, what it reveals will rock the foundations of many people’s world view and beliefs. It will be a time and opportunity for examining one’s worldview and beliefs and, if needed, choosing again in certain areas of both. This energetic change is already making its imminent arrival felt. Making “now” a very auspicious time for self examination, change, and expansion,

I very much get your dream Laura, and skydancer’s, too. My own feeling is that we as a galaxy, solar system, planet, and species are fast approaching a nexus point where polarities will change from negative to positive.
From Suspicious Observers website: we are now in the galactic current sheet emanating from the core of the galaxy, and it is affecting every planet in the solar system. It is causing the Earth’s magnetic field to decrease, and the sun is also affected. “As above, so below” goes the saying: as the magnetic field prepares to switch from negative to positive, so too will the mindset of people on the Earth mirror the outside changes.
As this intensifies, there will be more earthquakes, weird weather, solar storms etc. And at the moment when the transition happens, we will both individually and collectively enter the void – the null point where all electromagnetics reach zero. At that point we will both be in our greatest moment of darkness, and in the midst of the greatest creative vortex we will ever encounter as sovereign beings.
For most this will transpire as a mere blink in time. For those ready for this moment, it can be seized to catapult you through the most momentous changes that you need to transcend in order to create your greatest possible future. And THAT is more than worth focusing on as things disintegrate around us. It is during this time when all seems to be falling apart that the strongest steel is forged.
My own feeling is that I have been through this rodeo before. What is happening now is like deja vu to me. I have had dreams where I sat and planned my future lives after this event. Whether that is true and I am merely insane, I shrug it off knowing I am surrounded by loving, caring company 😉 Thanks for providing this love bug trip while we sniff the wild flowers in our hair!!

Thanks for the comment, Tony! In 2012 there was a lot of talk about the poles shifting, and I feel this is yet another way that 2021 is manifesting what many expected in 2012. I feel like the world has been on a wild detour since then. Some people made the shift, but not enough at that time, and so here we are getting ready to converge at the moment of reversal. 2012 and 2021 could also embody that sense of reversal.
I happened to watch a movie made in 2011, talking about predictions for December 21, 2012 — it seemed kind of quaint and naive on one hand, seeing how different the external world is now compared to then. On the other hand, it seems like the prophesied awakening is occurring now, for the collective. I feel that catapulting energy. I am in a massively different space than I would be without having done so much intensive dreamwork for the past two years. I can’t even believe how different, and I feel SUCH gratitude.
