This very long, dramatic post wants to go up again. Perhaps it holds a message for someone wondering whether or not to pay attention to intuition, dreams or premonitions.
While I cannot explain the how of everything shared in this 2014 post, five years later, I continue to affirm the value of listening and discernment. Sometimes, we can jiggle a timeline, but sometimes larger forces seem to barrel through life, knocking down anything in their way. In those moments, a timely sidestep nudged by recurring dreams or signs can mean the difference between finding a new opportunity, making the most of “Fate,” or rushing in where angels fear to tread.
Whether we call these larger forces an astrological transit, Divine Providence, or kismet, I’ve noticed that paying attention tends to lead me in positive, joyful directions, even if the messages seem “negative.” Pushing against such inner and synchronous outer messages tends to get me into trouble. Talking with thousands of clients for nearly two decades has confirmed that we all have some intuition. Learning how and when to trust ourselves forms a huge part of our journey and can dramatically improve quality of life.
During this intense July filled with revelations, eclipses, and personal choices, I wish everyone extra discernment, love and wisdom. You are loved, and you will find your way.
In a life of extreme synchronicity, prophetic dreams and generally inexplicable things, the following series of events comes in very close to the top of strangeness. To those few of you who’ve heard part of the sunflower saga as it relates to my ticket to the North American Permaculture Convergence, I can only say, “But wait! UPDATE, I just emailed Ann K: This is so wild. I decided to look up transits for the NAPC I had all those premonitions about, and lo and behold, transit Pluto was conjuncting my natal North Node then. I really have begun to agree with Arabian astrologers from the Renaissance that the Nodes and Part of Fortune are extremely sensitive points.
Remember, when I was going through those 3 NDE’s in a week in April 2018, Saturn was conjuncting my North Node.
By transits, the NN was exactly conjunct my natal Uranus, opposing natal Chiron. Moon also crossed over my natal Uranus and opposed my Chiron on the first day of the event, and Lilith conjunct my Ascendant. Those are all pretty intense points, but Pluto or Saturn conjunct NN appears to bring disaster or feelings of disaster … to me anyway.

Well…. both heavies have been on or very near my NN for awhile now (starting just over 2 years ago in Pluto’s case). With all that and the transiting NN right on my SN, it’s a wonder I’m still here.

I suspect that being well-acquainted with Saturn, having him in my 1st house as I do, gives me a familiarity with his ways that others without much Saturn emphasis would find jarring and harsh when they do encounter him by transit and/or return. My first SR was barely a blip, as you might guess. 🙂 All in a day’s work.

Yes, a 1st house Saturn would give you a leg up on Saturn transits. 🙂 Plus, your knowledge of astrology also gives you extra perspective on what’s happening, as well as indications of “this, too, shall pass.” For many people going through something intense, it feels like it will last “forever.” That’s just not true, especially with a SR!
