President Obama Accepts Slavery in Order to Win TPP Trade Deal, by Eric Zuesse

I read about this last week and was just way too busy to comment. This article summarizes the situation quite well and will — hopefully — help people to realize the double standard(s) in effect regarding all the race baiting over past slavery when current slavery’s not being addressed at all. In fact, in order to push through the TPP, Fast Track authority gives the A-OK to Malaysia to continue its egregious human rights violations.

Of course, the present day US itself is no stranger to forced labor and human trafficking. It doesn’t make the nightly news, but between using immigrants for slave labor and our for profit jail systems, the pot and kettle both look black. Add to that the NDAA’s permission for indefinite detention without trial and Obama’s 2012 authorization for the government to demand forced labor and appropriation of goods during peacetime as well as war, and well … wake up! The TPP just formalizes things at the international level.

Bottom line: black, white, Asian, Hispanic, gay, straight, Christian, Pagan … if you’re not part of the self appointed “elite” cadre of psychopaths and their corporate “persons,” then we’re all in this together. Don’t fall for race baiting and the reopening of old wounds used to distract us from the current attacks on basic human rights. Non-consent is very powerful. So is respect for each other and honoring the unity that runs throughout our diversity.

May this world heal on all levels … and soon.

Co-Creating Our Future on Planet Earth

So that U.S. President Barack Obama can end a roadblock and win the agreement of other nations for his proposed Trans Pacific Partnership, he has decided to remove one of the nations, Malaysia, from the U.S. State Department’s official list of countries that allow slavery. This was first reported by Reuters on July 8th, under the headline “Exclusive: U.S. Upgrades Malaysia in Annual Human Trafficking Report.” Reuters announced: “The United States is upgrading Malaysia from the lowest tier on its list of worst human trafficking centers, U.S. sources said on Wednesday, a move that…

For whatever it’s worth, this article was reposted on Shift Frequency, titled “The Masculine Wound” which I speaks to this topic of slavery, and to many other themes you have touched on here, and in our 1:1 emails.

Some of the author’s views I consider “out there” or eyeroll-inducing, so best to use one’s own discernment (as always!), but if you keep reading, you get to the part about the archontic interference with humanity, and their dramas that we keep getting trapped in.

I’m going to have to re-read it because it’s such a lot of info that puts long-range and far-reaching issues into a new perspective.
