Many people in the natural health community think that the FDA needs to stick with petrochemicals and pharmaceutical regulation and keep their meddling hands out of homeopathy. But the US Food and Drug Administration is taking a look at alternative medicine and ‘natural cures,’ and without your comments, they could be unavailable.

“We’ve had tremendous growth in the market and also some emerging safety and quality concerns,” Cynthia Schnedar, director of the Office of Compliance at FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) in Silver Spring, Maryland, told ScienceInsider. “In light of that, we thought it was time to take another look.”

It is more likely that the issue revolves around the fact that more people are turning to alternative treatments instead of mainstream pharmaceutical solutions.

Noted and followed up on. BTW whatever happened with that forced vax plan they were floating a few months ago where we could submit comments to the gov? Did they back down, water it down, or call it some other name in hopes that we’ve gotten complacent again?

    • I think they are waiting to see what happens in California with the children’s vaccines. Right now it’s a very hot debate, with politicians using words like concentration camps, internment camps and prison. Unfortunately, no one’s talking about forcing mandatory vaccines or prison on politicians, which, in most cases, would be far more appropriate than on people who don’t want to poison their children on demand.

Well, here’s my comment… for what it’s worth.

I do not consent to the proposed regulation (which inevitably seems to lead to elimination or adulteration) of homeopathic products or medications. By attempting to circumvent my right to choose self-care methods for minor illnesses and conditions, the FDA, and its designates or other involved parties, are in direct violation of the very basic freedom of choice.

Ever since 9/11, we’ve been hearing platitudes, speeches and such about how “free” we are, and how we must not allow “the terrorists” to “take away our freedom” or that “they hate us for our freedom.” And so forth, ad nauseum. Well, flash forward to today, and here we have the FDA and its cronies and subsidiaries deftly putting the lie to that old canard. We’re free? Really? The way up is down and black is white and night is day? That kind of free?

I will use homeopathic treatments, remedies, and products whether the FDA, Big Pharma, and the American Medical Association like it or not. Stop interfering with my private decisions, choices and actions whose consequences, efficacy and usefulness rest SOLELY with me.

In the event my choice of words obfuscates my meaning, I’ll summarize in just two words: BUTT OUT.
