Ebola and Vitamin C and Silver: the Missing Rest of the Story

I saw the following posted on RMN and thought I’d share it here. As always, I am not offering any kind of medical advice, just sharing something that makes sense to me. In fact, this is pretty much what I’ve already done, figuring that strengthening the immune system is always beneficial. I’ve stocked up on acerola cherry powder (tastes great mixed in with raw cacao, maca, chaga, astragalus and raw goat milk smoothies), camu camu powder (yummy in fresh cantaloupe smoothies with a pinch of cinnamon to go with the pinch of camu), liposomal vitamin C (saving this for if we actually need it), plus, I’ve been making homemade sauerkraut, which is rich in both vitamin C and sulfur, along with probiotics.

The homemade kraut uses cabbage straight from the garden, mixed and mashed with Celtic sea salt. I’ve found that if I eat the kraut in the evening, I don’t wake up with ragweed allergies. It’s pretty amazing stuff, if I do say so myself.  In fact, today, I just ordered two 5-liter fermenting crocks from Lehman’s as these will preserve the fermented foods for many months in our basement without need for refrigeration. The Perfect Pickler works great, too, but from what I understand, you can’t store that ferment for months without refrigeration. We always try to eat ours within a few weeks — which tends not to be a problem! Anyway, I’m excited about the crocks, because I always like finding off-grid food storage solutions, just in case. I’ve been reading “Wild Fermentation” and “Nourishing Traditions” and can’t wait to try more of the lacto-fermented fruits and veggies.

The coolest thing I find about all the doom and gloom “news” is that I learn all sorts of fun solutions that end up answering other desires of mine. For example, I’ve taken MSM (sulfur) for years, and I did use a very good brand that crystallized in the glass, as mentioned below. Recently, though, I ran out and started thinking, “There must be something even better than this!” I felt led not to replace my old supply, because I sensed something better on the way. “If not this, then something better.” Anyway, I’ve not tried the product mentioned below, and I have no association with the company. I just love the call and response of the Universe as we choose to flow instead of freak out. 🙂

EBOLA and Vitamin C and Silver the MISSING REST OF THE STORY

This writing is a public service to show you the proven best bet against Ebola and other similar attacks on the human body. I saw an article in a chat room on people debating silver and how that relates to Ebola wiping out the human body Vitamin C store so it can kill you and others quickly. But they are missing vital information.

I thought I could fill in the holes in current public and medical reasoning, and advance the remedial knowledge further. In a chat room I first quote [my comments within brackets] on the Ebola/Vitamin C article, and then I wrote 3 additional replies that are combined below it. In this way you can see how this writing naturally evolved.

““Ebola and Vitamin C Aug 04, 2014

There are two schools of thought about colloidal silver, it seems. Some say that silver kills viruses as well as bacteria, while others say that it only kills bacteria. In the article that I posted two days ago, we read:

“Laboratory tests have shown CS to kill over 650 destructive bacteria, viruses and fungi within minutes of contact.

“UCLA ran some tests on Colloidal Silver and their report states: “The silver solutions were antibacterial for Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Neisseria gonorrhea, Gardnerella Vaginalis, Salmonella Typhi, and other enteric pathogens, fungicidal for Candida albicans, Candida globata, and M. furfur, and it killed every virus that was tested in the lab”….

Another site claims that colloidal silver does NOT kill viruses, including the Ebola Virus.


I have not personally seen the lab results of either side of this question, nor am I qualified in that scientific field, so I have no way of proving either side of the dispute.

However, the site above does seem to reveal an interesting detail about Ebola.

“Here is what Ebola does that is fatal: it causes the complete removal of all vitamin C from the body. No one actually knows what mechanism is involved in doing this, [Incorrect, see below.] other than a malfunction that is not permanently destructive to whatever is triggered to remove all vitamin C. All the researchers know is that vitamin C drops to zero and all the symptoms of ebola are consistent with a complete loss of vitamin C.”

In other words, Ebola appears to cause a condition that USES UP all the vitamin C as your body tries to defend itself against whatever the Ebola virus is doing. (Smoking cigarettes also uses up the vitamin C in your body, though perhaps not as quickly.) [ As does alcohol and any dope.]

The article above cites an anonymous doctor who claims to have worked with Ebola, saying that Ebola acts like scurvy, which in past centuries was the sailors’ disease. When ships were at sea for weeks at a time, they often got scurvy, now known be from a lack of fresh fruits containing vitamin C. A summary of this doctor’s analysis is given here:

“The very first symptoms of ebola are exactly the same as scurvy, which is caused by inadequate vitamin C. Though scurvy is seldom fatal as a primary condition, scurvy also represents only a partial deficiency of vitamin C, the body still has a LOT of vitamin C compared to zero, which ebola causes. Absent ANY vitamin C, blood vessels become very weak and start to lose blood, and platelets become ineffective and unable to trigger clots. So death by ebola is caused by massive internal bleeding and loss of blood, which can be stopped simply by taking enormous doses of vitamin C until the immune system succeeds in killing off the virus.”

In other words, he says that if your immune system is strong, your body should be able to kill off the Ebola Virus by itself, given enough time. [And Vit. C ammunition] The problem is that when your level of vitamin C are depleted to ZERO, you cannot survive for very long and must take mega-doses of vitamin C to keep from hemorrhaging internally. He says,

“This is because the virus so rapidly and totally metabolizes and consumes all available vitamin C in the bodies of the victims that an advanced stage of scurvy is literally produced only after a few days of the disease…. When the vitamin C stores are rapidly depleted by large infecting doses of an aggressive virus, the immune system gets similarly depleted and compromised. However, this point is largely academic after hemorrhaging throughout the body has begun….

“… t seems clear as evidenced by the scurvy-like clinical manifestations of these infections that vitamin C dosing must be vigorous and given in extremely high doses. If the disease seems to be winning, then even more vitamin C should be given until symptoms begin to lessen. Obviously, these are viral diseases that would absolutely require high doses of vitamin C intravenously as the initial therapy. The oral administration should begin simultaneously, but the intravenous route should not be abandoned until the clinical response is complete. Death occurs too quickly with the hemorrhagic fevers to be conservative when dosing the vitamin C.”

In the link above, this information is attributed at the end of the article to Dr. Thomas E. Levy, MD JD, whose book, Vitamin C, Infectious Diseases, and Toxins: Curing the Incurable, apparently quotes the “anonymous doctor.” I do not have the book myself, but I did look it up and found that it is a real book.


My Conclusion:

The news media has not told us if Ebola victims are being treated with massive doses of vitamin C or not. But if an outbreak of the Ebola Virus comes near, I would want to have a good supply of 1000mg tablets of vitamin C on hand. I don’t know what Dr. Levy would recommend as a dosage,* but no doubt it would be at least 1000mg per hour, which is often recommended for other viruses. (Or just eat 100 oranges each hour.)

Vitamin C is acidic, of course, and can give people diarrhea. To prevent this, there are non-acidic forms of vitamin C such as magnesium ascorbate or calcium ascorbate. Likewise, if you take megadoses of vitamin C, don’t stop taking it all at once, or you may get what is called “rebound scurvy.” Your body creates an enzyme to utilize the megadoses, and if you quit suddenly, that enzyme will continue to be produced until your body figures out that you have stopped taking those megadoses of vitamin C. So when you quit, you can suddenly find yourself deficient. So quit more gradually.

Vitamin C [and especially natural organic Sulfur] provide the cement that holds your cells together. It gives you good cell wall strength. Scurvy, Ebola, and West Nile Virus are all conditions where your cell walls break down, and you begin to hemorrhage. Vitamin C is a way to help your body defend itself from such conditions.

Vitamin C also creates a negative charge in your cell wall, and since viruses are also negatively charged—and two negative charges repel each other—a healthy cell wall will naturally repel a virus. If the virus cannot “stick” to your cell wall, it cannot harm you.

You can buy vitamin C at many stores, or you can go online to a quality site. [The higher the mg/g dosage and the more natural the better, like Cherry Acerola. Your body needs a minimum of 8-12 GRAMS (not mg) per day spread out on a disease free day, and going way beyond that is the best therapy – see below -when facing a fast killer.]

Meanwhile, it would be a good idea to boost your immune system and to refrain from a life style that weakens your immune system. Your immune system what God has given you to resist disease and harmful foreign substances such as free radicals. [Which come from a LACK of Active Oxygen, and antioxidants are mis-named and modulate oxidation, not destroy it.]

All of the normal anti-oxidants such as Vitamin A, C, D3, and E [dark green & yellow vegetables] are designed by [Nature] to strengthen your immune system., and [Nature] does heal miraculously at times, but also expects us to follow the rules of good health that [billions of years of natural genetic selection engineering wherein whatever did not work died out, is now built into the perfection of Nature itself].

Above all, understand that FEAR wears down the immune system and uses up anti-oxidants [And the body’s own Active Oxygen immune components] that are needed to counter disease. Those who live in fear have a more difficult time maintaining a strong immune system. So live in faith, not fear. Fear is often caused by not knowing what to do. Our fear of the unknown can be countered by obtaining some knowledge. In this case, if we know something about Ebola, and how to defend against it, we can eliminate much of the fear that can make others susceptible to disease.

RE: Ebola and Vitamin C which turns into Peroxide which naturally kills the infectious Ebola anaerobe.

Vitamin C is actually one of the many Active Oxygen Therapies I teach about.

The body naturally uses Vitamin C to make its’ own natural water plus oxygen = hydrogen peroxide in its lymphocytes, the immune system’s white blood cells that engulf any body-invading microbes.

The lymphocytes then inject/cover the anaerobic (can’t live in oxygen Ebola) microbes with hydrogen peroxide which immediately kills them because they are all anaerobes; all bacteria, viruses, fungi and other anaerobic pathogens that can’t live in oxygen.
Emulating the immune system is where all the Active Oxygen Therapy methods came from.

“Ebola evolved or was evolved through its designed ability to quickly use up the immune system’s stores of Vitamin C” is what we are now being taught.

More accurate would be to say the body quickly deploys all its Peroxide manufacturing and the following lymphocyte-squirting-of-it ability against Ebola, which therefore uses up the Vitamin C reserves quickly, since human bodies, like chimps and seals, can’t manufacture or store Vitamin C and must get it daily through the diet. The end result is that the body no longer has enough natural peroxide to squirt at Ebola and kill it.

Picture all the Vitamin C ammo being used up before the Peroxide gun can kill them all and they win.

Flood the body with Vitamin C, or in an emergency, or during stress; go directly to flooding it with Active forms of Oxygen. IV Peroxide or IV Ozone have long histories of thousands of medical cites. All Ignored.

As I have taught for 25 years, medical Ozone injections would be the fastest route if direct Ebola kill is the object without harm to the body. Medical Peroxide IV the second fastest. IMHO, and we can add OxyLift and Oxysulfur and SuperOxyFlush as long-term body immune pre-conditioners whose serving sizes can be increased at the first sign of trouble and kept up there for the duration of the stress.

It naturally follows, since our body manufactured natural cellular Peroxide levels depend upon our Oxygen and Vitamin C right here right now inside us today levels, and since Ebola depletes the Vitamin C so quickly, and since our Vitamin C levels are coming from you either eat it today or lose it, then anyone in the news who gets infected with Ebola will either recover or succumb quicker DEPENDING upon how much live fresh Vitamin C they ate in their food TODAY – that, AND their STORED CELLULAR OXYGEN RESERVE LEVELS all during the disease cycle. THIS is why MOST die and some don’t.

Can you say “Vitamin C, and natural Oxygen, and Plant Mineral – empty hospital food?” and “All hospitals SUPPRESS a fever which is how the body kills viruses naturally.” And then look at how fast they bleed out and die while getting “the best of care.”

Beyond deep yogic diaphragmatic breathing for hours daily, an excellent therapy BTW, your CELLULAR and FLUID OXYGEN RESERVE, which your body combines with water to make its own natural Peroxide levels, depends upon how much deep breathing and Vitamin C and Active Oxygen and Organic Sulfur and plant mineral supplementation you have been doing lately.

This is why I advise people to find Active Oxygen/Ozone and Mineral and Organic Sulfur Supplements they like, and to get on them, stay on them, and take some more, and some more, along with the full spectrum plant minerals, and especially Sulfur, and do not fail to KEEP taking them religiously.

These are the people whose bodies will defend themselves best through THEIR OWN IMMUNE SYSTEMS.

SO, beat the rush when the fear is whipped up! Get you and your family FLOODED STUFFED with A C T I V E OXYGEN and SULFUR and PLANT MINERALS and KEEP it that way, BEFORE it is desperately needed.

    I’ve been reading and cooking out of “Wild Fermentation” and “Nourishing Traditions” for years and years now. 🙂 I attribute my overall health to these.



    • Sounds great, Kieron! David and I often get the live ferments at our co-op and have made sauerkraut and pickles in the past. With these bumper crops in the garden, though, it’s a real incentive to get busy with the crocks!

    I just did about 4 qts. Sauerkraut… Added a bunch of other things like Granny Smith apples, red chili peppers, garlic, tumeric, daikon radishes…

    Will check out the vitamin c

    Been doing milk kefir and kombucha for a couple years !!



    • Gordon, I love kefir and kombucha, too! I’m looking forward to making unusual batches like you described. In the Perfect Pickler downstairs, I have a cabbage, kale and serpentine squash batch with caraway bubbling away. Yours sounds almost like a “Fire Cider Remedy”!
