Feeling through the Limits of Fear, Frustration and Resistance – Approaching the Scorpio Full Moon

I was just mentioning to two friends how insanely intense the energies feel right now. Clients have been going through major drama, and I kept thinking I myself was largely immune, until I realized that I’ve been experiencing these same things — with our yard! When Laura Bruno starts fantasizing about things like RoundUp, rodent poison and bug spray, you know something’s up. Apparently, it’s the Scorpio Full Moon that’s up. “Overwhelm, pressure, frustration, stagnation and exhaustion.” Yep. That sums up my weeding, squirrel chasing and mosquito swatting adventures the past few days. By contrast, sessions flow so easily, for which I remain grateful. If it stops storming, I’ll plant some holly today, and then … a few days of well earned vacation to visit family. Cheers and smiles amidst the intensity. I always find it much easier to shake things off or move through them when I realize, “Hey, it’s not ALL me. We are stardust, and the stars, planets and other gravitational bodies do indeed have influence. Roll with it.”

Holy crap I’ve had to work through some serious resistance to get this post done. I’m guessing I’m not entirely alone in feelings of overwhelm, pressure, frustration, stagnation and exhaustion… all of which seem right in line with the energies building toward Wednesday’s Full Moon (12:16 pm PDT).

The Taurus Solar Eclipse on April 28 planted a seed for a potent new beginning, and now the Scorpio Full Moon lights up the basement of the subconscious, revealing inner blocks to creativity and growth. Where have you lost your power, passion and vitality?  Where are you playing it safe and not playing your edge? What do you need to let go of so you can create what you really want?

Taurus-Scorpio themes amplified at this Full Moon include power, money and resources, intimacy and sexuality (just a few light areas…). Amping up the pressure…

    • Hi Sophia,
Thanks for your comment. The collage is from the original post that I reblogged, so you’d need to ask her where that came from. 🙂
      Blessings!
      Laura

  2. Ha! Things are shifting already. Just got a recipe for all natural weed killer:

Weeds? Gone!! All Natural Weed Killer!! – Helpful Home Tip!
    Formular:
    1 Gallon Vinegar
    2 Cups Epson Salt
    1/4 Cup Dish Soap
I Always use Dawn, The Blue Original
You can also put it in your Round-Up or Garden Srayer. It Worked Fine in Mine.
PUT PACKING TAPE OVER THE RECIPE ON THE SPRAYER SO IT DOESN’T GET MESSED UP!
IT WILL KILL ANYTHING YOU SPRAY IT ON.
I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FORMULA FOR A WEEK NOW, AND I CAN HONESTLY TELL YOU… I WILL NEVER BUY ROUND-UP AGAIN. LIKE I TOLD YOU IN AN EARLIER POST, THIS STUFF WORKS. PERIOD.
JUST MIX AND SPRAY IN THE MORNING, AFTER THE DEW HAS EVAPORATED. WALK AWAY. GO BACK AFTER DINNER AND LOOK AT THE WEEDS. DEAD. PERIOD.
THIS IS SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN ANYTHING YOU CAN BUY ANYWHERE. PERIOD.
AND WITH ALL THE RAIN THAT WE’VE HAD LATELY, THE WEEDS ARE ALIVE AND THRIVING! (OR TRYING TO!)

Thank you, Laura, for my biggest chuckle of the day so far: “When Laura Bruno starts fantasizing about things like RoundUp, rodent poison and bug spray, you know something’s up.” 🙂

I have the same weed-killer recipe. But I haven’t mixed it up yet to try it. It’s for the driveway which seems to be trying to become part of the yard!

My yard seems to be growing upwards exponentially. It’s raining lightly again as I type this. The ground is just too wet and soft to mow right now. The “weeds” like plantain have happily sprung up, and the white clover is getting so tall. I had forgotten what it’s like to have it grow freely. Going with the flow and all I figure that the grass needed a rest from cutting.

Livin’ the magick here on Eos! 😉

  4. “Overwhelm, pressure, frustration, stagnation and exhaustion.”

That just described my full moon experience. Trying to blog about it now and I may just borrow the same quote and link–they’re just uncannily perfect! Or just perfect. It’s always such a relief to be “backed up” in this way because they also help one figure out how to push through.

    • Glad it helped, Janet! I felt things shift as soon as I realized, “Duh! The Full Moon in Scorpio. No wonder I’m fantasizing about death and destruction.” It’s so odd for me to do that, and now, of course, the yard magically looks much better, and the squirrels seem to have calmed down their antics. 🙂

Boy howdy was it an extremely tough last few days! I couldn’t hardly breathe while being paralyzed in major fear, shell shocked. For a few hours there all I could do was pray. But then something shifted yesterday, in a big way. I feel so much relief, my problems are still there but they seem so much more manageable, I have a sense everything will work out in the end.

Laura that IS funny! “When Laura Bruno starts fantasizing about things like RoundUp, rodent poison and bug spray, you know something’s up.” Validates just how major those energies were! 🙂
