A Message from the Raven

This came through as a blog comment from “Raven,” whom I know and who has powerful spiritual and shamanic gifts. The message seems important enough to bump up to its own post:

“Laura, I have received a bit of insight related to the bird sightings brought up here and elsewhere. I spoke with raven during a shamanic journey today and asked if he had a message for the people. He said the family of birds is somewhat confused and struggling. They can feel pockets of radiation and many other environmental assaults, and they attempt to avoid it by flying to places where they might not normally be seen. They are also affected by unusual weather modifications, HAARP and similar microwave technologies. This is not surprising at all, but what is a bit of a surprise is that the reason they seem “friendlier” and more engaging with humans now is that they are seeking our partnership and aid. They will befriend anyone who helps them, who cares in some way for Gaia, and who will at least meet them half way, spirit to spirit. They love us and they need our help to better survive while they chart new territories. They believe that by joining spirit forces we all stand a better chance for helping Gaia and ultimately every spirit being. They want to join forces if we are willing and open to do so.

“So, if you are encountering birds in unusual ways, seek their spirit voice, open your heart to them, thank them for being the beautiful spirits they are, express your love and gratitude, and listen to what they have to tell you.”

Sharing this loving and important post from Laura Bruno’s blog. I hope we open and hearts and our ears first, then take whatever action we are directed to. The Spirits are calling to us.

I have hummingbirds wintering over. They came to my living room window to ask me to set the feeder out that I had been meaning to set up. I obliged and now have happy, well fed hummers. I agree, not just birds but most animals are reaching out to us, trying to show us that we have more in common than what most humans appreciate, and that our mutual survival is linked. Rose Dan calls some of them “animal ambassadors”, representatives of the other nations on a mission to create a bridge of understanding and cooperation.

Thanks for this share Laura and Raven. I encounter many birds in my daily and nature visits and have been watching their patterns and appearances that seem increasingly prolific and catching my attention. So this rings true to me. I feel that all of the animal kingdom and Nature is messaging us, so keep an open ear to the messages they are sharing. Since birds in particular are divine messengers that deliver spiritual communication, they are like sentinels of land, sky and water that keep watch, survey, and convey to us both what is of Earth and Cosmic origin. Their appearances are meaningful and their voice carries great wisdom.

  5. in May of 2011 I was doing yard and lawn clean up at a house in Grosse Pointe ,MI .I went inside to check on Jill who was chossing no more treatment for her stomach cancer. At 80 + yrs she was up beat ,funny ,and insightful,as I tried to help walk her to the bath room. i nearly dropped her ,she had gotten suddenly very weak . I put her back in the easy chair, walked outside to call for the family and ambulance .While waiting I was going to clean off the driveway. I bent over to put gas in the blower on the ground ,suddenly a bird landed on my back .Although startled, I didn’t move ,the bird walked in circles 3-4 times right on my heart chakra then flew off to land 25 feet away . On a over cast day it landed in front of me on the ground in a brilliant ray of Sunshine .it was then I was able to that the bird was a dove ,looking at it there I started to weep ,my whole body filled with over whelming emotion …. after the dove flew off, i finnished filling the blower and cleaned off the driveway. Jill passed two weeks later in Hospice . The Spiritual energy of that exsperience floods my being every time i remember it.

  7. Thanks, Dawn, the original comment was on the El Mundo Bueno post: https://laurabruno.wordpress.com/2014/02/11/el-mundo-bueno/

Mary, that’s wonderful! I’ve written a couple times about the mighty hummingbirds: https://laurabruno.wordpress.com/2012/07/22/mighty-hummingbirds/
    https://laurabruno.wordpress.com/2012/07/25/tiny-beautiful-and-powerful-more-hummingbirds/

They really do love to interact with humans!

Thanks for sharing your story Michelangelo. Blessings to you and your friend Jill! Your story reminds me of some of the powerful encounters I’ve had with eagles flying right over my head so that I could feel the whoosh of air under their wings — very potent energy, shifts and messages at those times — as well as when a red wing blackbird landed on my head in Evanston, IL and would not leave! My novel has a scene in which that happens to a character with a raven, but it came from actual experience. The birds, indeed, do have messages for us, and they are important bridges to the other realms. It’s odd that I’ve not personally had any recent encounters with them in the “real” world, but then again, it’s frigid here in Northern Indiana. I’ve been hunkered down in the faery cottage!

Thank you for sharing Raven’s message, this goes hand in hand with what you have been saying Laura that some camps in the Faery realm are reaching out to humans to work together in assisting mother Gaia 🙂

Thank for sharing this. I think perhaps that muchn of this has long been true. Humans have been destroying birds habitat and causing mass death to them and other species for quite some time. Birds and other beings, including elemental beings and devas have long been cooperative and friendly toward those in tune with and seeking to care for Gaia and all living beings. I feel that it is becoming noticeable to more people because more people are now awake and paying attention. More people are trying to help the Earth, one another and all living beings so the connections that have always been there are coming into their awareness. I look forward to the time when birds can fly wherever they want without encountering radiation, HARP, chemtrails or other pollution, unshielded windmills etc.

It is true Raven is strong medicine, Raven is the guardian of ceremonial magic as well as Raven will if you connect with their energy fly into the void of Great Mystery and bring forward messages for you.
I have the blessing of having many Raven visitors, one day I had 3 fly into my life and one of them stayed behind and talked with me for quite awhile. I have become very fluent with the language of Raven and asked him to tell me how to say I love you and he did, I practised and mastered it and told him I love you my friend, he replied back with I love you, this brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful. Everywhere I go I see many ravens around me. I feel so blessed.

Count me in. Since November 2008, I’ve had repeat sightings of a bald eagle monthly at least, and occasionally weekly, since I live and work near the Mississippi River, and have visited a lake in the far north of Minnesota where bald eagles are more common. A few weeks ago, I was driving to a client meeting and the eagle whose nest is near the river flew directly toward me and up and over my car, close enough to glimpse its face and eyes.

    • That happened to me, too, near Payson, AZ –snowy mountainous area. An eagle flew over the passenger side of our car, where I was sitting. It was so close I could see individual feathers for just the brief moment it buzzed us. Things are ramping up. My bird encounters right now just keep happening in the OtherRealm. Cheers!

  14. Thanks Laura for the previous article referral that this post originally came from. Really enjoyed your post as well as all the comments. Some days it is easier to be in El Mundo Bueno than other days. There is a preciousness and value to all that is going on, whether “good” or “bad”. When you spoke about the sacredness in what we do, I believe that. I didn’t used to. During my years as a Christian Scientist we were taught that ceremony and ritual was not helpful to your spiritual growth, that it was a crutch. Anyway that is what I took away from the teachings. After becoming a Reiki Practitioner and Studying Shamanism (which is steeped in the sacred and of ceremony/rituals) I have a different view. Maybe what Christian Science was alluding to was really about making sure that there was substance behind all the rituals/ceremony. I would like to think that. Thanks again! As always thought provoking. Hugs, Dawn

    • Dawn, you’re welcome. I think you’re onto something! So many rigid prohibitions and warnings do have a hint of protecting the sacred to them …besides the usual disempowering aslects of secrecy. Oftentimes even questionable reasons for hiding things can benefit seekers as they ensure we won’t find things before we are ready for them. Love and blessings, Laura

  15. While walking out to our compost bin today, I found lavender feathers all along the path. No idea what bird these came from, but they were, small and almost frozen into wall of ice on either side of the path. Odd!

  16. Thanks to everyone who shared their bird medicine stories here. I wanted to follow up to let everyone know what happened to me today. I was snowshoeing with my dogs along a frozen river and I saw some movement above me. I look up and in the trees all around me were ravens perched on branches, about 20 of them. I have rarely seen so many in one place! One would drop off a branch, fly around a little like a little woop-dee-doo dance and go back, then other would do the same, and then another and another. Their show went on for several minutes. It was the most magical thing I can imagine and I knew they were thanking me (and Laura too!) for sharing their message with everyone. I cannot tell you how wonderful they made me feel. This is the magic we can summon if we just stop to listen.

    • Raven, I was just getting ready to email you a big thank you, as I awoke this morning feeling the significance of this post. Thank you so much for sharing this message. Clearly, from the comments here and private emails I’ve received, lots of people are willing to stop and listen. It just helps to remind sensitives that it’s not only OK to listen, but welcomed!

  17. I know this to be true from own experience.A Blackbird in Cuppertino City Park wanted me to help a a young tree sappling )appr 12 feet tall and quite slim that somebody had just minutes prior broken the top off appr at the 91/2 -10 foot height and left it hanging on part of its bark that had not fractured off.
The Blackbird screamed at me and cased me and indeed attacked me because I was not doing the Bird wanted. So when that happened I gave in .The Blackbird guided me to injured Tree and I began setting a cast around the fracture once I head gotten the two parts aligned. I had luckily pieces of string and rag fabric in the car and these I used putting three pieces of thin but stiff sticks around the wounded area to function as support inside the fabric “cast”. The Blackbird keeping a watchful eye over me all along, not missing a beat! 🙂 I finished up with a pink small rosette string i had as speeding the Healing as being the color of Universal Love. When that was done the Blackbird flew away.
Ten days later I arrived t check up on the tree all healed!
If only we humans allow ourselves to be open over the so called Species Barrier we’ll realize there ARE NO SUCH!!!
