Paradox, Illusions and Unconditional Love

This began as a series of comments on “Healing of the Waters,” but it’s turning into a full post, followed by a Julian Rose article. [I have added paragraphs to the first comment for ease of reading. No content was changed.]

Dear Laura,

I hope you are doing well. We all are one consciousness. We all are responsible for our reality. We all are the ‘psychopaths’ you write about. In order to ‘heal them’, we therefor need to work within us. The part of us, who created this illusion of psychopaths. ho’oponopono is what you are talking about. It joins quantum physics. It means that we create our universe, our physical world. In order to change this universe, this physical world, we simply need to change ourselves, our thoughts.

So, let me ask you something: Who do you talk to, when you say ‘We have more power than the psychopaths’ ? It is all part of our creation as one consciousness. Don’t we actually talk to ourselves? We are all responsible for what IS. There is no difference between ‘them’ and ‘us’, as there is no separation. Again, if we would like to see and experience change, this happens within ourselves and not by trying to judge, to examine the ‘why’, the question of ‘Is it false flag or not’, the ‘oh, it is all their fault’.

It actually is much more easy than that. It is me, you, us. All One. ho’oponopono is about healing ourselves, therefore the reality which results is a healed one. As long as there are doubts, fears within me, they will reflect in the physical world. As a result I do need to heal the water, but the part within me, that created the poisoned water… It is not the psychopath who did it, it is my fear reflecting the psychopath…

Anyway, I hope all this is clearly expressed and comprehensive… 🙂
Sending you much love from Paris.
Thank you for this very inspiring post.

Thank you, Elke. Yes, that is the importance of Shadow Work, so yes, talking to the psychopathic parts of Self. The larger push is for healing and unity — not uniformity, but yes unity. Blessings and Love! Laura

And then this, which I began to add and then realized it was becoming a full post:

Also, thank you for bringing up an excellent point, which is one being tossed around a fair amount these days — namely, at what point do people who recognize Unity consciousness but who also recognize that we are all interconnected beyond this 3D world, and not human centric have a responsibility to get out of the meditation room and out into the world?

At what point, do we recognize that simply OM-ing in Oneness is not why we (most of us anyway) opted to incarnate into a world of forms and boundaries? Yes, from the multidimensional worlds, life on Earth is a crazy illusion of duality. And yes, the physical world is all an illusion. Yes, Law of Attraction and Shadow Work help to create preferable illusions and to have those peak moments of complete un-differentiation.

But so does recognizing what we do not want. That can provide a powerful creation point for healing, for new leadership, for new options with which to re-create our world. I am personally not on this planet right now for the sole purpose of spending all my “time” here in a cosmic soup of Oneness. That’s where I/we came from. If that’s ALL we wanted, then there was not a reason to differentiate at all. Yes, Oneness is an underlying fact of the Universe, but in this realm, so is contrast and choice.

So yes, I very much agree with you on the one hand and that’s the reason that I offer things like Shadow Work and Ho’oponopono. On the other hand, we are not just spirits right now. We have voices. We have bodies. We have agency. And yes, we do have Love. The question is, what does that Love motivate us to do? The answer will be different for each of us, depending on our own unique offerings.

Julian Rose has written an excellent article about the importance of compassion and recognizing a spark of the Divine within the “cabal,” the “Illuminati” or the “psychopaths,” whatever words we use to describe those reflections of our own unresolved Shadow. That article is called “Reverse Engineering the Illuminati Mind Set.” What I love about Julian Rose, though, is his capacity for holding paradox, so that he can recognize with the same level of seriousness, compassion and insight a call to action and responsibility, which philosophizing or even our preferred awareness of Oneness won’t — on its own — resolve. I present that article below, and you can click on the earlier article above to read its equally excellent contents. Thank you, Elke, for your bright spirit and enormous capacity for love! May we each find our own, most effective, empowering ways to heal ourselves and heal our world.

At The Point of No Return

By Julian Rose

The wrong people are in charge… that’s pretty obvious. But what is not so obvious is how they got there? And once having found an open gate, why have we left them to graze the best pastures while we grovel around in the barren fallow?

A very strange phenomenon..

This World is run by those of whom the great majority have absolutely no qualifications to be at the helm of anything – not even a small rowing boat. Yet, somehow or other, there they are perched in their palaces, surveying their empires – while simultaneously engaging in the systematic degradation of planet Earth.

Doesn’t matter whether they are generals, headmasters, corporate executives, CEO’s of banks, media moguls, ministers or prime ministers or just about any big bosses – they have the distinction of all acting in unison. While by contrast, the great majority of intelligent and able bodied citizens of this planet, only manage to act – or react – in sporadic and discordant bursts; if at all.

The current controlling masters – and it hasn’t changed much over many centuries – have a commonality of intent: to extract the last ounces of profit and prestige from any and all assets and opportunities that fall into their grasp.

Yet even that isn’t enough for some of them. Profits get a bit boring when they come in the tens of millions year after year and one has occupied the prime suite at Claridges for the past six months. No, there always needs to be just one more thing that can be ‘owned’ and brought under control, so as to satisfy the false agrandissement that is part and parcel of an endless and ultimately fruitless attempt to become omnipotent and untouchable by ordinary mortals.

Such is the aphrodisiac called ‘power’.

Time and again, those who suffer most from a sense of being inwardly dispossessed are the very ones to seek, as compensation, the maximum level of outer possessiveness. And this is the mechanism whereby the wrong people get to be in charge.

Ironically, many who do not suffer such delusional power urges, are quite happy to just tick along fulfilling their aspirations and daily needs as best they can. Yet in doing so, they unwittingly allow the megalomaniacs a direct route to the seats of power.

Those who are secure enough in themselves to take a responsible attitude towards the life around them, seldom come forward to take-on positions of authority and civil responsibility. Their preference is to leave it to others – and in too many cases these ‘others’ often harbour barely disguised ulterior motives.

Yet we look on, aghast, as our world is torn apart by duelling crooks and madmen, each more desperate than the other for the top job in the race for planetary ecocide. Each more desperate than the other to fill any power vacuum that might emerge. Each more desperate than the other to hold a cosh over the disinterested daily workers who struggle on, trying not to notice how bad it’s got..

Where do you belong in this mad scrum?

The wrong people are in charge and the right people don’t want to bother themselves unduly to do anything about it. That just about sums-up the dire state of our post industrial ‘civilisation’. Something has to give..

The question is what?

Will a critical mass of the 99% finally finally act to bring back some genuine self autonomy through wresting control from the 1%?

Or will the 1% finally complete their annihilation job, trashing our planetary assets and crushing our human propensities once and of all? That is the question..

But none of us are free to sit back and play at second guessing the outcome. We are all in there. We are part of the pack. Our every move, whether we see it or not, is either promoting or resisting the despot’s master plan. There is no such thing as being ‘in between’ in this game. The fence you once sat on is broken. The wires are hanging limp. There is no no-man’s-land left to hide in.

At some point soon, those who are fit to lead must take over from those who unfit. It may be a bloodless coup – or it may be a bloody insurrection. One way or another, the shift has to happen.

Forget about Divine intervention. There will be no Divine intervention unless and until there is a very visible human determination already out of the starting blocks and heading for the finishing line. Only then is it possible that higher energies will join the race to bring justice back to this battered World.

We are approaching the point of no return. If we don’t respond to the myriad calls for help that are echoing around this World at an ever increased velocity each day, then we will be condemning ourselves – and those who call upon us – to being forever stranded upon a desolate and barren shore.

That help starts with helping each other to break free from our learned and self induced state of fear and pacifism. A combination that pretty much guarantees an unwillingness to act. An unwillingness to act even when presented with the choice of participating in a mass genocide or opposing it.

I use the word ‘pacifism’ here to convey a ‘state of withdrawal’ in face of the need to act. I do not refer to the choice, which everybody has, to refrain from violence. These are two very different conditions. In this context, taking the decision not to act with violence – is an action. Taking no decision, but simply retreating into a shell – is not.

This unwillingness to act is giving voice to the notion that ‘no action’ is the spiritual choice of the knowing. That to retire into a cul-de-sac of meditation and inward looking self examination can ‘change the world’ by dint of a shifted value focus. Can serve to hermetically seal the self away from the trials and tribulations of the outer world and thereby help avoid any confrontation with that which demands a full and spontaneous response.

Confrontation, in this view, is a negative, reactionary manifestation that undermines ‘peace’ and the supposed tranquility of a chimeric world which takes over from rational observations and becomes the new reality. A ‘virtual reality’.

This is a deeply flawed and dangerous ethos. For it splits in half that which is whole and sets the two halves in opposition to each other.

We are ‘of nature’ not above or outside it. We go forth and we return. That is the Tao. Universal forces all dance to this tune. Breath, ocean waves, cycles of birth and death, growth and decay, all is in motion and at rest, all the time. There is no contradiction.

Outward action and inward contemplation are two halves of one whole. They are synonymous. One should move between the two constantly and joyously.

“When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty”

Well, injustice has become law – yet resistance remains doggedly muted and the search for an escape route remains the preferred option.

Cultivate spirit, wisdom and deep awareness – yes. Yet not as an alternative to toppling our oppressors from their corporate thrones, but as part of it.

Don’t be fooled. There is a war on. We are all called to the front. Just as the white corpuscles of our bodies are fighting off attempts by the pathogens to take hold – all the time. We should be doing the same – all the time.

Everyday we should be conjuring-up and putting into affect actions to end the draconian government/corporate dictatorship that continues to herd great swathes of humanity ever faster towards a sheer and genocidal cliff.

We can have no ‘peace’ until the criminals at the master control consulate are ejected from their padded leather chairs and are forced to confront the true price of their obscene power games.

Peace – and enlightenment, at the individual level, is only possible if we are engaged in this battle.
The battle to rid both ourselves and this planet of that which seeks to dominate and destroy the true well-spring of life.

The road to victory also requires the wise and aware to form a council of responsible oversight to step-in to the void once the despots are dethroned. That is an essential ingredient of any uprising determined to manifest genuine justice.

The lessons of history teach that fickle rebellion simply replaces one bunch of power predators with another. That is no longer an option; we are now at the point of no return. This time we have to get it right.

Footnote: some may see this as being at odds with my essay “Reverse Engineering the Illuminati Mind Set”(see http://www.julianrose.info) I don’t believe it is. The action I speak of here does not eclipse the need to draw deeply upon compassion. However, to exercise compassion one needs to be in a position of strength, not slavery.

  1. Thank you for expounding on this even more Laura via Elke’s comment. It allowed me to think on this in a more expanded way. As Elke had pointed out and you agreed with, we mirror the psychopaths within our shadow selves. Not valuing or feeling connected to those around us, never mind ourselves. As you have mentioned many times as within, so without. We do need to do our personal work, that is our responsibility to ourselves, our planet and everyone else on the earth. Doing that work ripples out into the universe and helps to uplift and elevate all beings. If we are not treating our minds (consciousness), or caring for our bodies or ignoring our spirits and souls (the little voice within)….how is that any different than ignoring the dumping of chemical waste, nuclear poisoning, GMO crops, etc. This becomes a of mirror of what we as a whole have failed to institute within……so without. This is the first step. The next step is taking action daily to improve our collective situation in whatever ways present themselves, be aware and awake enough to hear the call and to have our eyes open to see the needs.

Good read, thank you. Not sure about having to do our inner work before taking action though. I think the two could go hand-in-hand. Combining action in the ‘real’ world with our personal inner clean up might just create some kind of synergistic boost inceasing effectiveness of both endeavors simultaneously. Indeed, as within, so without.

  4. Thanks Mary and Laura you are right about the time being no, if I gave the impression that one must do all personal work prior to participating, I didn’t mean to. My intention was that it needed to be done hand in hand. I don’t see how one can not be accomplished without the other. Hope that’s clearer.

  6. 🙂 Thanks for clarifying, Dawn! One of the greatest challenges I see all the time during intuitive sessions with individuals and also playing out on the larger world stage is this idea that we need to be perfectly healed ourselves before we can “presume” to offer any kind of healing to the world. Individuals who have various ailments but have wisdom to share shut themselves down, waiting until those symptoms disappear before they are willing to start living their truth or extending a helping hand to others. What many people don’t understand is that if your life path includes being a healer (and for many, many, many of us that’s true), then you will not ever experience full healing UNTIL you START offering whatever kind of healing you can right now, from where you are.

Law of Attraction and resonance can help to ensure that only those people you can help will cross your path or that you will know the resources to send someone else to in the event that you feel you have nothing to offer them. Many of us through networking can act as clearing houses for healing … but to wait … to assume that none of this would exist w/o our own un-healed parts and then paralyze actions that in and of themselves help to initiate our own and the worlds’ healing? Well, that’s why we’re in such a pickle on this planet! It’s a Catch 22, and it doesn’t need to be.

Sometimes we may fall short of an imaginary ideal or some kind of platitude of everything being nice and neat and clean, but sometimes a little grit and dirt are what get the job done. Sometimes it’s our flaws that allow the opening for conversation and the opportunities for healing. While I very much agree with many of the ideas of Unity and Oneness, I also recognize a sneaky way that those concepts can foster a “spiritual bypass” and allow otherwise caring, capable, loving individuals to bury their heads and become so P.C. that they won’t shout out “Hey, that person’s committing mass murder” or intervene if they see someone about to kill a child. In those instances, the appropriate response is not JUST meditation and a silent OM. Those things can help, but the appropriate response when you recognize repeated attempts at mass murder, kidnapping, genocide, etc. also includes, in my opinion, doing some major soul searching and gift searching so that you can responsibly find what you can do about it.

As conscious beings, we are not meant to play three monkeys in the face of evil, just because another 3 dimensions up, these people are all playing a cosmic game. On THIS level of the playing field, we need to find that balance of compassion, as well as dealing enough with our own Shadow so that we are not too terrified to use whatever tools and power we have at our disposal to help shift the energies. Jon Rappoport wrote a good article recently on the dance between Love and Power: http://jonrappoport.wordpress.com/2013/11/29/exiting-the-matrix-is-exploring-love-and-power/

Ahhh, and here we have another comment that really ought to be its own blog post. Oh, well. 🙂

Thanks for commenting. This is one of those topics that really concerns me as I see otherwise kind, generous, loving people completely uninspired to do anything other than meditate or post a link on Facebook. These are both valid things … but a multidimensional world requires more than one or two approaches. At least … in my opinion. But then again, I communicate with the unseens and the animals, too. It’s not ALL about the humans, although humanity’s actions (or complete non-actions) and consequences spill over into other realms.

  8. Awesome post Laura, Julian Rose is da man! As a former unity consciousness, ONEness devotee, I bought into to this particular brand of new age cola that’s so popular right now, especially amongst the yoga circles who rebrand the myths of the vedantic texts into the borg like passivity…..um, hello, The Bhagavad Gita took place on a battlefield with Krishna imploring Arjuna to wake up and go kick some ass, to literally kill thousand’s of soldier’s, many his close relatives to save the earth from a dark ruling elite, yes, Krishna’s can also be taken as metaphoric such is it’s beauty, however the fact remains that Krishna did not tell Arjuna to go meditate in a cave for a few years, to find himself, fight! So, I am wondering something, it’s about the popular understanding of the law of attraction, that I personally still wrestle with, how come Abraham, Esther Hicks and conversely, every EFT teacher extol the understanding of personal joy, happiness, abundance, ie, tapping to attract wealth, new job, relationship’s etc yet nothing is ever mentioned to guide thought’s or tap to help the planet, spiritual activism, etc, it’s all about you, you and you, it’s completely Self centered and yet I know that the law works for personal abundance and continue to practice EFT daily, I guess the question is, is it ok to practice the law of attraction and modalities of manifestation for personal monetary abundance when there is so much work to do in helping taking our planet back from the corporate psychopathic control Thank you for this 🙂

  9. Thanks for raising some good points and questions, Mitch. RE: Abraham-Hicks, I find their work rather different than the usual Law of Attraction info put out there. I found “The Secret” to be incomplete, and perhaps that’s why Abraham-Hicks eventually distanced themselves from it. The Abraham material gives a LOT of attention to the value of contrast and pivoting. I do not personally use the LOA just for personal wealth. I look at what’s happening in our world, and if I don’t like something, I use a multi-level process of looking at what that distaste is mirroring in myself (Shadow) but also looking for what this aversion tells me I truly desire that I may not have realized without the contrast.

In the Abraham teachings, the value of contrast is precisely for the way it can ignite desire and inspiration for change. Effective use of the LOA does not require sticking your head in the sand and plugging your ears. It just requires that you don’t get stuck fixating on what you do not want. That’s why when I talk about getting a GMO ban, my own personal focus and recommendations include finding ways to make healthy, organic, very local food available to everyone, especially the poor. I am also wracking my brain to figure out how I can start teaching some of our soup kitchen attendees about powerful visualization and vibrational awareness. We must start wherever we are, and if where we are looks absolutely horrid, then we need to find the Divine in that but also reach in and out and use that contrast as creative inspiration to bring new, preferred things into being. This need not be an either or situation. None of it is!

    Blessings to all …
