You Are Not Alone in Your Challenges Right Now!

I just sent this as a reply to someone feeling really down about all the old issues popping up in life right now, including finances. It occurred to me that I’m hearing similar frustrations from so many new clients, friends, family members, as well as different parts of myself right now, that this is a timely message for more than just that person. I’m sharing my reply here:

Sorry to hear you’re going through the ringer right now. I would suggest trying the Heart Breath meditation that I just posted on my blog yesterday:

So many people are struggling right now! Lots and lots of old stuff is coming up for major clearing, so please don’t judge yourself for having old challenges right now. It’s actually a good sign if you can recognize it as a clearing rather than a failure. Think of it as a cleanse — sometimes you will feel really crappy until that stuff that got kicked up passes out of your system.

That said, I do feel you’d benefit from a personalized intuitive session to see what specific factors are in play right now. That would give you better insights on how to release the old patterns. Some are likely operating on a subconscious level that would respond much faster to something like a carefully designed ritual/ceremony (i.e. something highly symbolic, in the language of the Soul) rather than a linear approach. The Soul has its own logic, timing and requirements. It’s not going to stop its inner longings and projections just because your conscious mind tells it to. You might also benefit from writing a letter to your symptoms asking them what they’re trying to reveal to you. Once you have a sense of what those things are, ask to discover those secrets through a book, music or meditation rather than the troubling symptoms. 🙂

Yep. I can relate! But I have to wonder… When will this visit thru whatever circle of hell we are in end? Dramatic. I know but the fear and anguish Ive experienced these last couple weeks has been NUTS.

For me its been skeletons from my past. I remember spending an entire day shaking in fear and crying. What did help is to own those parts of my past I feel shame about. As an adult survivor of abuse, shame is very big deal. Having had a bad start cultivated a situation where it was easy to make not so great choices. But at the end of the day it was me who made them and I would not be who I am today without them. So I need to own every part of me; the good, bad and ugly. Until now Ive been pretending these choices didnt belong to me, hiding them like some freak under the stairs, hoping no one would discover them.

I can also say that after that fear purge I felt a lot freer. Like I had released all that energy that was tied up trying to hide from those pieces of my past. I wasnt done though! Another wave came through yesterday after the heart breath meditation… Again I found relief in facing it, owning it then expressing compassion for myself. Those who would judge me are not people I want in my life anyway! Let them judge, they reveal who they are when they do! It also shows me that they are rejecting some part of who they are, which is a hard place to be. This I know from experience.

Well… Didnt mean to share that much but it just poured out. Maybe others who are struggling will find some validation and comfort. Maybe not. It is what it is. ;))

Thanks for the reminder! These days are trying indeed. We need to throw a big party when its over.

Thank you, Laura. I too have noticed this going on for so many people. I was trying patience just waiting for things to pass, but I really like the ideas and tools you suggest in this post. Often just taking action, reminding ourselves that despite the huge forces at work on us now we do have agency. We are not helpless ir passive bystanders. Ascenscion appears to be a “full contact sport”;-)

Thank you Laura so much and thank you all,

  6. Thanks for the sharing here and the reposts. Happy to offer some alternative perspective, as I know when you’re going through it, it feels anything but good. Sometimes just remembering to situate ourselves into a larger framework is enough to shift the energies onto a more positive and productive trajectory. I can’t believe how much I’ve gotten done the past two days! Not the things I meant to do, mind you, but enormous checklists of old things that I had all but given up on because the timing always seemed off. Apparently, now is the time. 😉

  7. Yes, trying indeed, but ascension is an ongoing process. I would venture to guess, that it would be difficult to ascertain when to throw a big party. 😉
