“In the Celtic calendar, today, the first day of May, is celebrated as Bealtaine, meaning “Summer”…Happy Bealtaine to you and Blessings from Bealtaine Cottage, Ireland.”
I just had to share this lovely video from Colette at Bealtaine Cottage. As she notes, the actual cross-quarter day (midpoint between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice) falls on May 5 this year, but May 1 marks the traditional calendar date. This video expresses the peace and joyful song I feel today on my own little evolving plot of land across the pond. Blessings to you and yours!
