Tom Lescher: Astrology, Sheep, Individuation and Awakening

Astrologer Tom Lescher uploaded this video for the June 20, 2012 Summer Solstice. He covers two different squares happening — Uranus Square Pluto and Jupiter Square Neptune — as well as the Sun’s move into Cancer. He’s got some empowering information about those things that seem beyond our control. They are “nothing but a reflection of our own unconscious need to awaken” and he reminds us of the availability of “untapped reservoirs of help.”

Tom’s videos tend to resonate strongly with information I’ve been getting in sessions and my own meditations. He even talks about the Wheel of Fortune tarot card. The masculine/patriarchy “is on the top, but on its way down.” The feminine forces and “dark midnight” are turning towards the top. This doesn’t mean men vs. women. Within individuals the balancing of masculine and feminine energies will continue with feelings beginning “to rise up and impregnate the mind” with solutions and creative new energies. “Our feelings guide us into the reservoir of that unique, powerful Self.”

Tom’s advice and meditation:

‘May the waters of feeling from deep down within me guide me through the changes before me.’ There is so much going on I didn’t even get to Saturn going direct also! Next week we can look at the far reaching changes indicated in that event. For now, suffice it to say that it may be time to put the iphone down, turn off the chatter and listen inwardly for some REAL guidance in making tough choices. Aloha!”

(Just a quick note from Laura that the sound at the very end of the video is LOUD. Once he says, “Aloha, so much love. Namaste. Enjoy these times; they don’t come back,” I suggest you turn down the volume or hit mute. The rest of the video works perfectly. 🙂 )

Happy Summer Solstice

Today’s post comes from a Raph channeling client turned dear friend. “Vi” is a Reiki Master Teacher and all around deeply compassionate woman who has found a way to personalize the Blue Room Meditation (originally shared with me by Tim Glenn). As Vi describes below, instead of inviting other people into this soul- and energy- balancing meditation, she invited different parts of herself. I love when people take tools and intuit new things to do with them — and then decide to share those new applications so that others can explore and recreate as well. Somehow it seemed important to share this on Summer Solstice, right after a New Moon, and the day of greatest light in the Northern Hemisphere. Let your Light so Shine!

Many thanks to Vi. I’ll let her share the magic below:

I wanted to share an amazing transformative tool & experience. This personally dovetails on much that has been unfolding for me over the last few days, maybe even weeks. So without going into long detail, let me just offer the tool and you’ll know if you want to explore as I did.

First, I started with Laura Bruno’s Blue Room Meditation. Last night before bed, while holding 2 heart shaped pieces of jasper two dear friends gifted me and small pieces of rough ruby & emerald that “Raph” suggested might assist me with my abundance manifestation… I went into meditation, inviting in my guides, etc. ultimately making my physical life experience here & NOW into a “blue room”. That’s right. Then I invited both my ego/mind and heart into the space. After a period of time I discussed what they had both brought to my experience and asked that my ego/mind now allow my heart to take the lead. It had done well, and in appreciation for all it has offered, it was now time for it to allow another to lead. Those who are students of A Course in Miracles will particularly appreciate this, I think. I really put my heart into this and truly felt a shift.

THIS MORNING, I went into the same space, this time however, inviting in all of the karma, drama, experiences, etc. of ALL my lives; past, present & future, in all dimensions and all realities. It was a crowded space! Again in a loving, acknowledging and gratitude-filled way, I asked Archangel Michael to escort out of the blue “true” me all of the karmic drama (from everywhere mentioned earlier), while leaving behind the lessons and understandings without any attachment or judgement — releasing ALL FEAR. Leaving behind only LOVE, JOY, PEACE, FREEDOM, ABUNDANCE…. and more to come with grace and ease. I stayed in this later space a long time just blissed out focused on being Love-FULL and Fear-LESS!
Coming out of it, it took me at least an hour to get grounded. Huge stuff has shifted, and it feels like it is still ongoing 3 1/2 hours later… like a DNA shift. I am breathing different.

So, I had to share. Hugs to all of you who I adore so very much! ~Vi

What Can You Do?

This post is a long time coming, although in many ways, I’ve been piecemealing out the information as I feel led. Clients, blog readers, friends and family who have begun to wake up keep asking me, “What can we do?” They either feel overwhelmed by the challenges ahead of them, or overwhelmed by day-to-day living and obligations. They would love to contribute to a positive collective timeline, but a) they don’t understand what the heck a timeline is and/or b) they don’t see how the “little” things in their sphere of influence could possibly have much impact on the bigger picture.

Regarding the timelines, parallel universes and reality creation: these are not things you will likely understand with a 3D brain from a 3D perspective — unless — you actively engage the ideas with a temporary suspension of disbelief. With practice and careful attention to your feelings and senses, nudges followed by inspired action, and by watching the eventual manifestations, you will begin to intuit how things work for you. There are general guidelines, but what matters most to you? An abstract ability to explain things in scientific or “normal” terms, or the consistent ability to get where you’d most love to go? I try to work in a few posts here and there that include scientific support for such theories, as well as Abraham-Hicks videos and messages, Dolores Cannon‘s research from 1000’s of deep trance hypnotherapy clients, forgotten wisdom from Avalon and the Druids, as well as Mayan prophecies … but that’s just to give your left brain something to chew on while the rest of you gets back to experiencing. 😉

Experience and experiment share the same root, and people most truly feel they know something by experiencing it for themselves. With repeat experiments, you begin to know what works for you. By sharing your results with others engaged in similar experiments, you begin to know an even bigger picture of how things work. Will your left brain be able to explain it to everyone else? Not necessarily. But you will start to have a lot of very interesting stories, synchronicities, “Divine interventions,” and positive manifestations. You will also start to notice that your attitude and attention exert influence over what “happens” in your external reality. You don’t need to explain yourself; you can simply live your results and let the results speak for themselves.

Remember that Joseph Campbell quote? “Follow your bliss, and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.” You can think of those doors as portals to other timelines, parallel universes or even new universes created by the big bang of your wanting, followed by positive feelings and attention to what you want. You don’t need to know which you’ve done, i.e. if you’ve hopped a timeline, created a new universe or jumped into a parallel reality. With practice, you might develop such awareness, but in practical terms, the reliable ability to create and embrace what you’d most love to experience is more important (and more interesting to non-believers) than all the explanations in the world.

Eventually, even the logical mind admits that the results speak for themselves. The “show me” and “prove it” parts can no longer deny consistent results. As Gandhi said, “You must become the change you wish to see in the world.” Instead of preaching with your words, actually follow through on what you know. Latch onto your bliss and let it take you to destinations beyond your left brain’s wildest expectations. Become a whole-brained individual who is logical enough to allow whatever works best to become the dominant method.

OK, fine, but what can we do about our collective reality? I see all these government regulations and radiation, pollution and the threat of Earth Changes. I’m not a gazillionaire with tons of influence. What can I do in daily life to help the situation?

Never underestimate the power of tiny shifts of attitude and attention when you have flowing through you the power to create universes. And we all do have that power flowing through us! Use those negatives you know you absolutely do not want to help you figure out the positives that you do want. If you don’t want to live in a police state, then focus on freedom — especially freeing yourself from your own personal, inner police state. If you want to live in freedom from your government, then you can start by giving yourself permission to be yourself. Allow yourself to honor your preferences. Allow yourself to express your inner truth.

The irony of censorship is that most people gag themselves so tightly that they don’t need any kind of external crackdown. They’re afraid even to voice certain thoughts and desires inside their own mind. You don’t need Thought Police when you are your own 24-7 Thought Police, denying or postponing everything that makes you feel alive and joyful. Censorship of the press and controlled media are doing this world a favor by encouraging people to value freedom of expression. That freedom doesn’t come from your government. It comes from yourself. Let your creative juices flow and make a painting, form a pot, or arrange some flowers. Share your gifts with yourself and with the world. Allow yourself to journal about things you truly desire. Stop censoring yourself, and you will find that the media and government cooperate. As within, so without. When you don’t want something manifesting outside you, address and then shift anything inside you that resonates with it. When nothing in you resonates with that “reality,” then and only then, will those scenarios leave your experience.

Yeah, but what about those Dark Goddess energies you keep mentioning? Is Mother Earth really that pissed off at us?

Mother Earth loves you, but she can only handle so much abuse. She knows she needs to heal, and she will do it whether you cooperate or not. Make no mistake: she loves you. If she can cleanse, heal and ascend while still having you on board, she will do so. She is, however, committed to her own survival. If you, and the rest of humanity, continue to abuse her, you leave her no choice but to leave you behind.

It’s no different than the battered woman who attends therapy and keeps showing up in the emergency room due to a husband who ridicules, devalues, and beats her. Maybe she stays for the children. Maybe she stays because she doesn’t feel strong enough to leave. At some point, she realizes that if things don’t change, that husband will kill her. If she wants to live, then she will leave because she’s tried everything else in her power. At that point, the Dark Goddess energies kick in to help her. She becomes not the meek, abused little puppy, but the growling Mama Bear who will protect herself and the innocent cubs no matter what stands in her way. Emphasis on innocent. If you are participating in the abuse, then you are not innocent. Most of humanity participates in the abuse on a daily if not hourly basis. Witnessing abuse when you have the power to stop it makes you culpable. Renouncing your power so that you “can’t” (read “won’t”) take the actions you know you can and must take puts you in a position of one who gets left behind, no matter how much that abused Mother loves you. She can’t afford to have people devalue her and passively or actively endorse her abusers.

Mama Earth is approaching Mama Bear time. She doesn’t particularly want to throw off the humans, but she needs to know that things are changing. For real this time. No more hollow words without a radical shift in perspective. No more disrespect. She’s trying to heal and give birth at the same time. She’s like a pregnant, abused mother who has cancer and is trying to give birth — all at once. She’s strong, but she can and will no longer tolerate being kicked, humiliated, raped and poisoned while she’s working to save her own life and birth a new reality. Can you blame her?

This all sounds dire, but it doesn’t need to be. The collective can shift right this very moment. We can “get” it, see Gaia for who and what she is, express our gratitude and love. We can create organic gardens. We can thank weeds like dandelion and nettles for nourishing and purifying the soil. We can thank seaweed for purifying the oceans.

We can stop supporting all GMO foods. Period. Just stop. Yes, this will result in a very different way of grocery shopping. Yes, this will result in mind-altering awakenings and spontaneous healing. Yes, this will result in going more local and cutting back on fossil fuels, BigAg and BigPharma. Any questions? These are the kinds of shifts we need to make right now. And we can. If you can’t see yourself getting rid of all GMO foods right now, then take a tiny, conscious step in that direction. Have an organic salad for lunch twice per week, or grow a windowsill pot of your own basil for pesto. Spend a Saturday morning at your local farmer’s market. Just do something that resonates with a healing, loving, natural and honoring direction. And keep adding to that something.

Want to do more? Talk to the Elementals and converse with the Elements. Send healing energy to the waters of this planet. Dr. Emoto has shown that water responds to words and intentions. Start sending them. Start saying Ho’o Pono Pono to the water. “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.” Say that to the Earth. And mean it! Thank the flowers and the bees. Gratitude heals. Walk barefoot on the Earth. Feel yourself connecting to that energy. Send and receive love through your feet. Take a gardening, herb, and/or wild foraging class. Get some plant and nature books out of your local library and actually read them. Stand in the rain and let it pour over you. Sit in the sunshine and appreciate how the planet responds. Feel yourself as the bridge you are between heaven and earth.

Want to do even more? Practice responsible creation. If you know that thoughts create reality and you don’t like what you see, start looking for what you’d love to see. Walk outside and appreciate the beauty of your neighborhood. Even if you live in the city, you can find natural elements to love. Central Park offers diverse, wild Nature, right in the middle of NYC. You probably have purslane, dandelions, plantain or chicory growing in your sidewalk cracks. You’ve got flowers shamelessly announcing their sexuality and joy for all the world to see. Emulate them. You are beautiful, but you will be even more beautiful if you can find and honor yourself without feeling ashamed of who and what you are.

Want to do even more than that? Sing. Invite sacred chants and mantras into your life and belt those melodies into land, sea and sky. Music is all numbers, and numbers are the universal language. Frequency. Sing your heart out. Isn’t that what the angels do? Think of yourselves as Earth Angels, actively creating harmony and balance through every thought, word and deed.

Can you do more? Of course you can! How much do you love your Mother? How much do you love yourself? How much do you love each other? Show it. Little gestures, big gestures: size doesn’t matter in this case. Just start showing and being Love. YOU are IT.

I will leave you with this sincere and fervent prayer to the Goddess for forgiveness. It’s as good a place to start as any:

Thoughts Are Transformed Through Their Association With You

Another excellent find by Gillian and excellent reminders! Some of it reminds me of all the writing I’ve done on integrating the Shadow and those Dark Goddess energies, but it always helps to hear things put in a different way. I don’t know about you all, but I’ve really been feeling this transformation process — recalling those “negative” thoughts I’ve sent away and suddenly needing to process through them. Right now. Rejecting them no longer works as they come back larger or more painful, demanding even more of my attention. The good news is that embracing this process results in freedom and the birth of something new and preferable. It’s like what Abraham-Hicks calls “pivoting and positive aspects,” combined with alchemy. Transmutation allows us to turn lead into gold … rebirth the phoenix from the fire … merge with our Holy Guardian Angel … create heaven on earth. Ohhhhh-kay then, go ahead and bring that, too! 😉

Twelve Insight ~ Thoughts Are Transformed Through Their Association With You
Twelve Insight

When you have thoughts that are misaligned, your task is to engage them in such a way that they are transformed through their association with you. Thoughts that are resentments, or unpleasant thoughts that revisit you routinely, are most definitely your own creations. They are aligned with you vibrationally in such a way that they are sticky, and seem attached as if with a rubber band. You may get away from them for a while, and then they return a day, a week or an hour later.

The important step is to recognize them as your own creations; they are not outside of you. And then recognize (know again) the reason you sent them off in the first place — because they really don’t fit you; not as they are.

But they are aspects of your own creation, thus they remain attuned to you. They will follow you about until you have paid enough attention to them that they either manifest in some form, (and since we are talking about unpleasant vibrations they will be unpleasant manifestations) or you have transformed them into something more pleasing, more concordant with you. But you cannot eliminate them from your field by rejecting them or expelling them: The Universe operates on the principle of inclusion. So you have to own up to them, accept that they are yours, and invite them back into the fold so that they may be transformed by the person whom you are now.

When you first thought those thoughts, launching them into being, you were not the person you are now. You were driven by other forces then, fears perhaps, or beliefs in lack and limitation, but forces that do not reflect who you really are, nor the knowledge you have of your true Self today. You are the most powerful force in your corner of the Universe. You are the most powerful being in your own field of experience and field of thought, and even in the field of your physical manifestations.

So you see, you do not make yourself stronger by rejecting those errant parts of yourself that you deny; you make yourself weaker by sending that energy away from yourself. There’s a part of you out there attracting your energy outward. You make yourself strong by welcoming back in those orphaned elements of yourself, allowing them to be transformed by the person you have become today.

You see, they are going to be transformed by you, not the other way around: That was then, this is now. When you sent them away you were unable to deal with them. Today you are much stronger and more sure of yourself than ever, and you can allow those rejected elements of yourself to be transformed by the light that shines within you so very, very brightly.

Darkness is always transformed by light. That which is shoved off into the dark becomes a great bogey-monster, creating fear and aversion. When the feared thing is brought into the light that emanates from you it evaporates, quickly diffusing into its elemental parts, to be reincorporated by you, back into the wholeness of your being. You disassemble the monster and its component energies are transformed into the wholeness of your being.

You are the light, and you are the transformer of your world. Shine on dear friends,
~Twelve

Oracle Report — Friday, June 15, 2012

Thanks, to Gillian for sharing this Oracle Report: M-Class Solar Flares, Venus Retrograde and Mama Earth coming to the rescue by grounding those who honor her. Sounds like an excellent weekend for an all day herb walk and workshop…don’t mind if I do! 😉 Remember to spend some time with plants today and the rest of the weekend. Hug a tree. Nature loves you back!

Oracle Report — Balsamic Moon Phase

Heads up! Another strong coronal mass ejection is on its way to Earth. This one blasted from the Sun and is moving so fast that it will overtake the first one and combine into one direct energetic hit tomorrow. But, as I discussed yesterday, the Universe is electric and plasmic, so the effects are already being felt by all living things. These are lower M-class flares, which should not affect satellites or communications too much. Essentially, the Sun is “pinging” our energy fields.

Those people firmly grounded with the Earth will receive an “upgrade” to their energetic fields, but this is going to heighten the insanity of the matrix (everyday world) – those who are ungrounded with the Earth. The electro-magnetic effects of Venus are going to be agitated. Venus, which is retrograde, is located at the degree in the sky that the Sabian symbols call “an airplane in a nosedive.” It makes things head for disaster, but with the potential to “pull up” at the last moment.

Relationships are the primary focus of this. The energy is about control and control issues. We tend to plunge or dive into situations without thought of the ramifications. If we are conscious of this potential, we can “save” ourselves. This energy is going to cause shake-ups today and through the weekend. It may help to stick to the basics and plan in advance to not overextend or overload yourself. Save non-essential tasks or situations for another day. We want to stay as close to the ground as possible, firmly rooted in place and centered. By all means, spend some time outside today to buffer any harshness.

Gardening in Small Spaces — Update

Here’s a little photo update of our small space, light-challenged garden. As promised, I will continue to post occasional reviews of techniques I find effective, as well as experiments I’m trying. This is only my second year gardening, and we rent rather than own our house. Thus, we need to work within certain confines, including that the surrounding houses have huge trees and that we’re supposed to leave the front yard essentially untouched except by flowers. I do enjoy a challenge, though, and I’m determined to get a much better yield for all my hard work this year. Actually, I’m intending to put in much less work and still maintain a productive garden. These posts here and here show the original set-up, and today’s post is kind of like a progress report:

Garden view from our side steps

As you can see, the Garden Soxx are working well. I have found that they would probably love a leaf or straw mulch, as the black bags can get hot in the sun; however, most of my tiny transplants made it. The plants I started from seed outside seem to do better than ones replanted and then needing to adjust to the scorching bags. My chard starters lost a few leaves, but they did survive, as did my Oak Leaf Lettuce and Romaine, both of which I have shaded by the recycling bin during the heat of the day. We planted some leftover onion and garlic from the store, so we now have fresh garlic greens and green onions whenever we like. We do have the occasional grass blade come through the Garden Soxx, and I also noticed some purslane, which makes me happy. I can’t really call that one a weed since I literally begged purslane to show up in my garden. Two days later, it started growing out of the Garden Soxx, right by my garlic.

My only complaint is that the bugs are devouring my lacinato kale! Until I get some kind of natural bug spray that won’t ruin the taste of my greens, I’m using the lacinato as an unintentional trap crop for bugs in general. They seem to go right for the lacinato and leave my curly kale and other greens alone so far. Between the kale, the nasturtiums, marigolds and some herbs to attract predator insects, we’re doing pretty well in the pest department. I would like some lacinato for myself, though!

Herbs in Pots

I will post soon about last weekend’s trip to Four Elements, an herbal tea farm in North Freedom, WI. We spent over four hours there, touring a Chakra Herb Garden, learning about growing medicinal herbs, and spending some quality time in the woods. I was happy to acquire some of the Eastern herbs that I’d only seen in capsule or tea form like gotu kola and Holy Basil. We also got some delightful pineapple sage, mullein, rose geranium, fennel, and lemon verbena. Lovely! I repotted my sage officinalus, which wintered indoors, and that seems to love the outside. I may need to bring my indoor basil and rosemary outside to join the party!

In addition to the Early Chalk tomatoes I grew from seed and transplanted next to some basil into our “tomato fort” of foot-deep compost, we also decided to try the Topsy Turvy’s again. I didn’t get a good yield from them last year, but I think that’s because I only fertilized them once. Apparently, you’re supposed to water them every day and fertilize once per week. This year, we planted them mostly in compost and worm castings, and yesterday I brought back a bucket of used organic coffee grounds from our co-op. Tomatoes love coffee grounds! Who knew? I guess they fix nitrogen in the soil, so now our heirlooms will be mighty happy.

Topsy Turvy’s

I also learned from last year that you really do need to fence or otherwise support tomato plants growing in the ground. Otherwise, they can get a yucky spotted disease called Early or Late Blight. The leaves don’t want to sit on moist ground, or they succumb to this fungus. The coffee should also make them more disease resistant. Last year, our Topsy Turvy tomato plants were the only ones that didn’t get blight, but the fruit kept rotting before it ripened. We learned too late that tomatoes are “heavy feeders.” Once I put some organic fertilizer on them, they perked right up.

This concludes the front side tour. Below the steps we have some cucumbers growing, but they’re so small right now, I opted not to include a photo. They’re there, though! I also experimented with planting two Double Yield Cucumber seedlings near our garbage/recycling. That’s a total experiment, but we had volunteer pumpkins there last year, and they grew well along the fence. I figure, if they grow, great, and who cares if they shade the bins? If they don’t grow, no worries, the ones under the steps will for sure. Past the back steps we have this apple mint:

Apple mint is flourishing!

We cut from this apple mint several times per week, and, like a good old weed, it just keeps replenishing itself. Speaking of weeds, I am extremely pleased with the behavior of our nettles. While everyone else already has tough, adult nettles, we still have the tender spring variety. I harvest them several times a week, and they keep coming up young and soft (well, except for the stingers!) I do wish our peppermint grew as fast as the apple mint, but at least we have some.

Peppermint, Nettles, Onions and Chives

On the advice of a commenter, I did end up adding an old mirror to increase the light in our partial sun (read: mostly shade) back garden bed. It seems to be doing the trick for some of the plants, although the kale and collards remain extremely small. We do have asparagus, parsley and bok choy growing well now, and our tat soi (another Asian green) has just begun to sprout. I have planted that in a recycling bin sheltered spot on the sunny side of the house, as well as in the back, because it supposedly grows well in low light conditions.

Adding a mirror increases light in shady spots

It’s all an experiment, and as David reminds me, “This is supposed to be fun, Lovey!” Most of the time, it really is, but sometimes I do get overly concerned with “the kids.” That’s why I like growing weeds. If people have such a hard time killing them, then surely I won’t have much trouble growing them. I love how gardening combines so many of my passions: the freshest organic food, freedom on many levels, herbalism, tuning into the Earth and Earth Elementals, and finding ways to work with Nature. I love our rain barrel, and I love feeding our garden nutrient-rich smoothie or kefir rinse water that I’d otherwise throw down the drain. Plus, pouring some of those sweet treats on the garden has lured two ant colonies away from our kitchen. Score!

Just for the record, we really don’t have much usable garden space here, and what we do have wasn’t really meant for vegetable gardening. We’ve just maximized every sunny inch we have. All winter long, I grew fresh herbs inside, and anyone can grow sprouts even in the smallest kitchen. It’s amazing how creative we can be and how much the Universe supports us when we set our intentions and take little baby steps in that direction. Happy Almost-Summer!

Parallel Universes

Thanks to Tim Glenn for making me aware of The Horizon Project, a gathering of highly specialized scientists who have collaborated with each other in order to explore a much bigger picture. While researching their research, I stumbled upon this BBC video series about scientific evidence for parallel universes.

At this time of “possible dimensional rift” as we cross the Galactic Dark Rift on December 21, 2012, these videos are well worth the watch. Sit back and let your mind wander. What kind of Universe would you love to create? “Anything that can happen, does happen.” I suggest watching these videos with an open mind and an eye towards possibilities.

Before I share the BBC video series, I wanted to post this very short video from the Horizon Project, talking about the Mayan Prophecies and the potential dimensional rift:

Strange times, full of potential! In a world where everything’s possible, what would you love to create?

The Hugging Tree

David took me to one of our very favorite raw food restaurants on my birthday — Borrowed Earth Cafe, in Downers Grove, Illinois. Our friends Danny and Kathy Living own and manage this wonderful home of raw, vegan, wholesome decadence, and it made a perfect stopover on our way to visit David’s parents in Indiana. I love their food, so I was super excited to eat there, but then I saw this tree:

Borrowed Earth Hugging Tree

Something about that tree made me so happy that I just had to hug it, even before I read the sign. David was photographing the tree’s lovely “outfit,” while I was like, “Hurry! I need to hug the tree!” When I saw the photo he took of me, I actually felt a little embarrassed by my exuberance. What the heck?! I guess I really do love trees. Like, a whole, whole lot.

Laura Bruno really loves trees!

We hadn’t told Danny and Kathy we planned to road trip there from Madison, but as we entered, Kathy said, “I was just thinking about you this morning! Too weird. Or not. I guess that’s just how things work, huh?” Sure enough, that’s how they work in my life, anyway. 😉 We enjoyed our meals and dessert as much as we always do and decided to buy Danny’s new book, Borrowed Earth Café: Climbing the Ladder of a Dream. It’s quite a non-linear endeavor, full of humor, skits, recipes, personal stories, and little nuggets of inspiration and wisdom. I’ve enjoyed my time with the book, which puts together some puzzle pieces I had intuitively surmised but of which I’d never had any overt confirmation. Of course, I particularly enjoyed this passage — written by Danny writing as Kathy — about my new tree friend:

“On International Yarn Bombing Day, which is a day when people knit things and put them in unusual public places, like fun, non-property damaging graffiti, I posted this:

“‘Nothing adds to the fun like a tree wearing a sweater, worn here by our tree, The Hugging Tree. Stop by and pet the tree for good luck and happiness … Happy International Yarn Bombing Day from Borrowed Earth Café, in Downers Grove, IL, USA.’

“So, me and two friends, Kathleen and Mary Beth (our friend with the beautiful therapy dogs, Maggie and Timmy), knitted little rectangles and fastened them to the trunk of the tree in front of the restaurant.

“I love it!

“I put a sign on the tree proclaiming it, ‘The Hugging Tree’ and all day long, I watch young and old (mostly young) hug the tree.

“That tree’s gotta feel mighty good.”

In addition to well-loved trees, they’ve got some Fancy Pants in front of the patio. Lots of fun all around. Here’s to trees, stories, whimsy and love! Little things can make a huge difference. Next time you feel a little blue, think “green.” Whip up a salad, down a green juice and/or go hug a tree. Nature loves you back!

Please email rawdolphins@live.com or tania@taniamarie.com with your questions.

The Atlantis Rejuvenation Center is sited on the magical island of Bimini in the Bahamas where you will find beautiful weather, crystal clear turquoise waters and wild playful dolphins surrounded by mystical Atlantean energies. Spend your days practicing yoga, enjoying high vibration gourmet raw vegan food, being inspired by Tania’s loving energy and classes, receiving certification in and practicing Reiki, taking daily boat trips out to swim with the dolphins, and much more. A new family of soul friend connections await that will be sure to last a lifetime and beyond.

Itinerary:

We recommend guests arrive in Ft Lauderdale the day before (August 18th) and spend a night at a hotel on the beach, as we fly out on the charter flight early on the 19th. Guests arrive mid-morning on Sunday 19th, for lunch and the first dolphin trip of the retreat. On Friday 24th, we finish at lunch time so you can catch the charter flight back to Florida. If you would like to stay extra nights, please contact us to make arrangements. (More information on this provided below under Additional Costs)

From Monday to Thursday, the days will run as follows:

Yoga – 8:00am

Breakfast – 9:15am

Reiki with Tania/Group session – 10.30 – 1.30 (some days may have shorter sessions with free time)

Lunch – 1.30-2.30

Dolphin Trip – 3:00pm – Sunset

Dinner – 8:00pm

Everything is optional, although we encourage you to participate in order to get the most from your group experience. You may decide to have a day on the island, shopping at the straw market, boutiques, visiting the beaches or hanging out with a book at the pool.

We aim to immerse you in an environment that supports you, wherever you are on your journey.
