Sacred Geometry, 11:11, Disclosure, Free Energy: THAT’s What I’m Talkin’ About!

I am so excited for this movie to be released on 11/11/11! Thrive: What On Earth Will It Take features interviews with many of today’s top researchers, thinkers, visionaries and credible people who have experienced ET or UFO phenomena. Even the trailer linked here describes the Flower of Life being burned into ancient stone. You’ll see visions of crop circles in other Sacred Geometric forms, as well as hear how free energy could and would revolutionize this world. Big Banks, Big Pharma, Big Oil? Big Buh-Bye.

In addition to Thrive: What On Earth Will It Take, I also recommend the movie, I AM: The Documentary. I saw this earlier this year, and it features a similarly inspiring message. Tom Shadyac, the movie director of Bruce Almighty, The Nutty Professor, and Ace Ventura had a life altering brain injury that led him to reject all the traditional trappings of Western success. In his search for meaning, he asked this world’s visionaries, inspirational teachers and scientists, “What’s wrong with this world, and what can we do about it?” I loved this movie! It was also, synchronously, the very first movie I saw in a theater since my own 1998 life-altering brain injury. My friend Jeanette spoke directly with Tom Shadyac and convinced him to bring this film to Madison. If you can find some way to watch it, please do.

I feel so encouraged that Hollywood has begun to embrace the concept of “Power To, Not Power Over.” As many of my blog readers and Facebook friends know, I believe this concept is key to the imminent LOVE-olution on this planet. Imagine a life beyond Big-everything. Imagine a life of oneness, in which the concept of thriving replaces the “need” to survive. Can you dig it? Will you bring it? I can, and I will! Please join me and the millions of others awakening on this planet and holding the space for something utterly beautiful and free. Much love!!!

Fears and Gifts

“Ultimately, all thoughts are sponsored by love or fear. This is the great polarity. This is the primal duality. Everything, ultimately, breaks down to one of these. All thoughts, ideas, concepts, understandings, decisions, choices, and actions are based in one of these… And, in the end, there is really only one. Love. In truth, love is all there is. Even fear is an outgrowth of love….”
–Neale Donald Walsch “Conversations with God III”

On this potent date of 9/11 (911=”Completion” according to Doreen Virtue), instead of rehashing old lies, old fears and old tragedies, I thought I’d share this morning’s “meditation roulette” from Story Waters’ book, “The Messiah Seed”:

I choose to create space and time in which to experience the gifts of my life.

“Messiah Seed 20
Know Your Fears

“Messiah, know that fears are cages that you have used to limit your Self. As you face each of your fears, so you will go through a continued process of freeing your Self from cages; cages that you previously could not name, but have always felt. Fears are cages within cages, mazes, and must be faced to experience your Godhood in ever expanding ways.

“As you come out of one cage, you will most likely find your Self within another. Realize this to be the encoded baggage of many lifetimes. Know that for each fear that you face and overcome you will reap rewards. With each bond released you will become more and more fulfilled; more and more the God that you are. Celebrate each victory of your spirit. Allow your Self to enjoy the rewards, rather than ploughing into the next challenge before you have had time to rest or to experience the joy of the victory. The rewards of life are not forced upon you. You must pause and focus on them to experience them. To do this is to love your Self. Enjoy the challenges you so love, but also allow space to enjoy the rewards.

“Do not become discouraged by the amount of cages you must free your Self from. To do so is to focus on the destination and to not enjoy the journey. Learning to embrace the journey is essential for joy. The more you love your life, the faster its magic will unfold. As you learn to move with the changes that the resolution of fear brings, so you will lower your resistance to the journey; the resistance that causes you pain. You are here to enjoy this journey and not to suffer through it. The only proof of this is in the living of it.

“The letting go of continuity may feel like you are entering chaos. At such times, center your Self and become the calm eye of the hurricane, knowing that you will not suffer unless you allow your Self to fall into fear. Know that you are the master of your fear and, for this reason you will not fall into fear. You do not have to suffer, no matter what is happening around you. Your fears are illusions and you will come to see through them. Know your fears and they will not be fears, at their root is usually resistance to change. Fear is no more and no less than the unknown.

You are a spark of the Divine! There is no reason to hide your flame. This world needs your Light now more than ever. “The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.” (John 1:5) Teachers, Lightworkers, lovers, healers, those who speak the Truth in Love: thank you. May you expand and shine until every dark corner reveals its inherent peace, security and blessings. Namaste.

Non-Attachment, Intention and Evolution: 3, 2, 1 Go!

Today I’m linking to a great article brought to my attention by astrologer, author, numerologist, toner, Proterrian channel, and good friend Timothy Glenn. The article discusses some of what I shared in the post about big September Changes arriving on the heels of a super-intense August. I especially like how the article shares that non-attachment (removing oneself from the ties that bind) ultimately leads to greater and more powerful creative freedom. One of these days I will write that article on the difference between attachment and intention. Until then, I hope you enjoy this wisdom.

Past Lives and Law of Attraction

When I first began working professionally as a Medical Intuitive ten years ago, I sometimes received past life “hits” while scanning someone’s energy. Every once in awhile past lives surfaced as a factor in symptoms, but I preferred not to access that sort of information. It seemed “weird,” “unprovable,” “way too out there” and downright “New Age-y.” I felt odd enough reading energy and sensing mind-body connections in strangers. All this seeing the unseen stuff seemed like it could take over my life, so I drew an arbitrary, but firm, line around past life issues. The only way I mentioned them was if I could absolutely find no other reason for a particular condition. Even then, I shared the information apologetically, as though turning to other lifetimes for an explanation somehow entailed my own failure to provide a good reading.

Some of you have already heard the story of how and why I began to offer (and respect) past life readings. If that’s the case, please feel free to skip over the next italicized part, so you can continue with the rest of this article.

For those who haven’t heard the story, here’s a recap:

I never in a million years expected to offer past life readings or workshops, but the concept had nagged me since 1998. Even as a practicing medical intuitive, I avoided the topic unless absolutely necessary in a session. I just felt like we could never prove the existence of past lives, and even if we could, who cared? Didn’t this life matter much more than what happened long ago?

Fast forward to November 2006: I needed to wear glasses and desperately wanted to get rid of them by year’s end. If I failed to wear them, I suffered severe migraine headaches and sometimes vertigo; contacts were not an option for this particular vision problem. I meditated on how to get rid of the glasses by January 1, 2007, and the following message came: “Embrace All Past Lives.”

“Fine,” I thought, “I have past lives. Great, I embrace them. Let’s move on.” But no, the message continued that I needed to bring this awareness into my medical intuitive and coaching sessions. “Oh, man!” I thought. “Come on! These people will think I’ve lost it.” But the message remained firm, and I REALLY wanted to get rid of those glasses!

As an experiment, that afternoon, I let myself tune into my clients’ past life issues, shared the information, put multiple lifetimes into context, and thought little more of it. Later that day, I got a terrible headache. It throbbed like migraines from the old days of my head injury. I took off my glasses, and the pain immediately subsided. I noticed that I could read without strain without my glasses, and I have never worn them since!

The next week, I asked those clients if they wanted to discuss the usual issues we’d been working on. They all said, “Oh, I’m done with that. After you put things into context, I realized I could move on.” These were people who had done counseling on such issues for 10 years or more, plus coaching with me for several months. Poof! No more issue.

While not everyone drops patterns quite so quickly, over the years, I have seen enough dramatic and fast shifts through past life work to recognize the value of exploring these alternate realities.

OK, back to 2011 and the wild times on this planet we call Earth! I keep seeing an increasing number of clients dealing with core past life issues — those situations that have followed them throughout many incarnations. Just as in this life, many people overcompensate for perceived weaknesses or faults, on the soul journey, we tend to do the same. We try to mix things up in order to see which factors really cause a particular problem. We might try switching roles with the involved souls: victim for abuser; mother for son; wife for daughter; boss for serf. We might try switching our upbringing: wealth instead of poverty; poverty instead of royalty; whore instead of nun … By the time someone comes to me for advice, they have usually run through several versions of a potential story line with whatever issue they’re calling about. Because of the tendency to overcompensate, these relationships to people or situations get more and more exaggerated, until they seem “larger than life.”

In a sense, they are larger than life — or at least larger than the context of this particular lifetime. I have written about past lives and relationships before in an article called “Soul Mates, Past Lives and Health,” but today I’d like to focus upon past lives and the Law of Attraction. Of course, Law of Attraction also describes a relationship: the relationship you have with the Universe. As such, it’s a rather important one!

How do past lives influence our ability to attract the things we most want in life? And conversely, how can past lives set us up for failure and trauma?

Ideally, we do not drag past life memories with us. When born, a veil separates our current experiences from the ones that came before. Usually, such “forgetting” serves us well. Can you imagine keeping track of every being you’ve ever been? For some people it’s enough to remember to put the trash out on Monday night! By erasing awareness of that which came before, we save ourselves from endless irrelevant details that would otherwise drown our potential for living full lives now.

The tricky part happens when an experience caused tremendous emotion in a past life. Emotions are very powerful! The Abraham-Hicks teachings talk about “your emotional guidance system” as an accurate means of revealing the path from “where you are now” to “where you want to be.” Abraham recommends always “reaching for the next best feeling or thought” and “climbing up the emotional ladder.” They even give an Emotional Guidance Scale to show you which emotions to reach for from which state, since making a giant emotional leap from say, despair to bliss, is a vibrational impossibility. Instead, they recommend shifting emotions via incremental steps until you consistently spend most of your time in the top five states.

Excellent advice! I love Abraham. Their CD’s, books and videos are like having my own personal life coach whispering (or shouting) in my ear. I know that Abraham has said past lives really don’t matter because we’re all Source energy and we’re here to experience and co-create this lifetime. I agree; however –and it’s a big however — sometimes the wires get crossed. Just as in this lifetime you can get something “stuck in your craw,” you can also get something stuck in your soul’s craw. If it comes from this lifetime, you will likely remember it and fixate on it, thereby dragging your vibration down the emotional ladder. When past lives enter the picture, the same dynamic happens, except you likely have no idea what happens to be stuck in your craw. Instead, the situation plays out sideways, as you attract relationship after relationship and situation after situation that you absolutely know you do not want. And yet….there they are. Again. And again.

If it’s not a past life issue, then positive affirmations and the emotional guidance system work great. If it is past life related, then you will find yourself short-circuiting as you attempt to move up and out of the negative space. Meditations like Sat Yam can help by dragging in the raw emotions and releasing them in love, but sometimes the mind just wants to know why. Does it matter? No, not in the bigger scheme of things, but it matters if it matters to you. When the mind can’t figure something out yet senses this “something” relates directly to your ability to attract what you want, then the mind starts fixating on that “something.” In the case of subconscious memories of past lives, the fixation locks the vibration to those old events without giving the release afforded by an a-ha moment.

It is exactly in this scenario that I find past life work so empowering. That extra glimpse into the past, that insight into the story line and dysfunctional dynamics, provides the mind with something it can now understand. The mind might not like the story, but past life revelations (either through regression therapy or past life readings) can put the issues into a context that finally makes sense. Once the mind satisfies itself with an explanation that integrates all the seemingly irreconcilable complexities, it can then move onto other things — like asking for and allowing those things most wanted.

Thoughts attract other thoughts, and our emotions follow quickly behind. If we can just stop fixating on hidden core issues, then we are again free to follow our bliss and manifest the heck out of life. You live more than once, but why not make the most of it? 😉

Help Save One of America’s Non-GMO Seed Houses

Another quick update, but one very close to my own heart:

D. Landreth Seeds, America’s oldest seed company, which carries 900+ varieties of heirloom and non-GMO seeds, needs to raise $1 million this month in order to stay in business. A paperwork snafu (detailed on their Facebook page) has resulted in them having less than 30 days to pay back lenders unwilling to give them an extension on their loans. In a world of Frankenfoods and a country with a former Monsanto lawyer appointed Food Czar of the FDA, we need to support all the non-GMO seed companies we can!

Biological diversity remains one of the keys to survival on this planet. Just this week, the news announced that Monsanto’s pesticide-corn crops have been destroyed by the bug they were designed to resist. Mother Nature wins again: bugs adapt faster than the fertility-destroying, health-wrecking GM corn with its own built-in pesticide. Monsanto would love to take over the entire world food supply, and anyone who’s watched Food Inc. knows about the thuggery and aggressive “legal” practices of this corrupt company. While other countries burn down GM crops, the US continues to allow, even encourage, Monsanto to rule the roost. Not only does this present health dangers to those who consume foods that turn on the obesity gene and mess with the endocrine system, but having only one (likely flawed) version of each food makes food famines a widespread and real possibility. When entire crops become decimated, biological diversity offers other strains in place of the vulnerable versions. Heirloom seeds protect this variety, and in turn protect us.

Not to mention taste! Anyone who’s eaten an heirloom tomato knows that the fresh, sweet, tangy burst of flavor puts supermarket tomato clones to shame. There’s just no comparison! Whether you shop organic, grow your own foods, or even just want to support the future of the human race, please take a moment to buy some seeds from Landreth Seed Co. You just never know when those seeds might save your life! Without support, this company WILL go out of business, taking with it a large piece of our own health and freedom. Here’s a link for more information and where to find your seeds. (I have no relation to Landreth Seed Co, by the way. This is just a crucial issue in a crucial time.) Many thanks!

September Changes

Wow! What an intense month August was! Did you feel it? I know I did, and so did most of my friends, family and clients. The polarization on this planet continues, with an amazing number of people awakening to bliss juxtaposed with increased grasps at control, power over, lack, greed, and ugliness — the last dying gasps of an Old World Order that threatened to become an even more aggressive New World Order. Congratulations to everyone who survived August and who had the courage to release those things that no longer serve. This entire year has held this message: it is time to embrace the new, and sometimes that means letting go of whatever stands in the way of growth, freedom and empowerment.

I, too, have had quite the evolving 2011! I spent the winter reading library books about organic gardening and successfully implemented raised beds, containers, window boxes and hanging gardens on three sides of our house. I also educated myself on local foraging for wild foods. The result? Scrumptious produce harvested just steps from our doorways. I plan to continue gardening as an indoor project this fall and winter, so the new library stash includes many books on hydroponics and indoor edible gardens. I began these projects in response to the fascist government takeover of foods and natural supplements in the EU, as Codex Alimentarius mandates similar measures in the US. What started in panic quickly turned to joy and love, though, as I find plants and the challenge of growing in small spaces and microclimates quite exciting.

I also love feeling like I can exercise control over my own food quality, freshness and selection, regardless of what Obama’s Monsanto-friendly FDA approves or restricts, and regardless of any “natural” disasters that might interfere with food delivery methods. Law of Attraction says we can always attract whatever we need, provided we remain vibrational matches to those requests. I find it much easier to stay in a positive, receptive vibe when I can already see tangible abundance in my cupboards and garden. I also find it easier to envision a permaculture-friendly world full of free, abundant food when I know that I can supply whatever I need within my own home and community.

I somehow managed all this gardening even with a serious sacrum injury in late June. As a medical intuitive, I know that injuries and illnesses are never really “accidents,” so I have used this recovery time as a chance to reevaluate the things I carry. Stories I tell, obligations I feel, expectations I honor, and people I support: in addition to these, I have spent months exploring what feeds my energy and what depletes it. The xrays of my back showed some rather alarming damage, not only from this sacrum “accident” but also from years of hauling heavy grocery bags, water containers, and situations. Due to the severity of my 1998 brain injury, the corresponding neck injury received far less treatment than it would have as an isolated incident.

My chiropractor, who is also a dear friend of mine, tells me that I should feel grateful to have been able to digest food at all, let alone thrive. We both say kudos to my very high raw food diet, which provides so many enzymes and vitality with minimal digestive strain. The xrays showed such intense damage and pressure, however, that they also speak volumes of the power of a high vibe, in-touch-with-Source-energy lifestyle. This spine does not look like the spine of someone who lives and thrives to the degree I do; it looks more like that of a disabled person with massive health issues. I feel grateful for the Life Force energy that flows through me and has given me not one, but two miraculous recoveries.

Having seen the xrays, I now have visual confirmation that certain metaphysical aspects of my life do need to change. Not only will I continue rooting out those people and situations that drain me or weigh me down, but I will also use much better discernment with new relationships. Most of the situations/people “on my back” have remained there for a long, long time. I’ve known they needed to go; I just didn’t give myself full permission to release them. As with anyone, my body never betrays me. The body is the lover of the soul and will do anything — whatever it takes –to set the soul free on its chosen path. I thank my back and those alarming xrays for the obvious and urgent support of my soul’s deepest longings.

In January, I announced that I felt called to wind down the coaching aspect of my practice. This shift continues as a slow release. With few exceptions, my only coaching sessions focus on personal healing, Law of Attraction, and/or building a conscious/healing business. I have turned my attention much more to flat out psychic readings, which I find both easier and more enjoyable. The August Tarot Special brought so much positive feedback and requests for more, that I have decided to add this service to my regular menu of offerings. Beginning today, I will offer 1/2 hour tarot readings for $55.55 and hour-long tarot readings for $111. The many people who signed up for the August special shared how transformative they found their reading(s), and I am happy to offer my research, experience, intuition and personal knowledge of this system.

I wish everyone continued movement, grace and courage on the path. We live in exciting times. Let’s make the most of our opportunities and potential. I have to giggle here, as I typed poetential. Indeed, I do sense something poetic about our times — the chance for poetic justice, as well as sheer beauty and pure creation. Abundant blessings and much love! ~Laura
