September Changes

Wow! What an intense month August was! Did you feel it? I know I did, and so did most of my friends, family and clients. The polarization on this planet continues, with an amazing number of people awakening to bliss juxtaposed with increased grasps at control, power over, lack, greed, and ugliness — the last dying gasps of an Old World Order that threatened to become an even more aggressive New World Order. Congratulations to everyone who survived August and who had the courage to release those things that no longer serve. This entire year has held this message: it is time to embrace the new, and sometimes that means letting go of whatever stands in the way of growth, freedom and empowerment.

I, too, have had quite the evolving 2011! I spent the winter reading library books about organic gardening and successfully implemented raised beds, containers, window boxes and hanging gardens on three sides of our house. I also educated myself on local foraging for wild foods. The result? Scrumptious produce harvested just steps from our doorways. I plan to continue gardening as an indoor project this fall and winter, so the new library stash includes many books on hydroponics and indoor edible gardens. I began these projects in response to the fascist government takeover of foods and natural supplements in the EU, as Codex Alimentarius mandates similar measures in the US. What started in panic quickly turned to joy and love, though, as I find plants and the challenge of growing in small spaces and microclimates quite exciting.

I also love feeling like I can exercise control over my own food quality, freshness and selection, regardless of what Obama’s Monsanto-friendly FDA approves or restricts, and regardless of any “natural” disasters that might interfere with food delivery methods. Law of Attraction says we can always attract whatever we need, provided we remain vibrational matches to those requests. I find it much easier to stay in a positive, receptive vibe when I can already see tangible abundance in my cupboards and garden. I also find it easier to envision a permaculture-friendly world full of free, abundant food when I know that I can supply whatever I need within my own home and community.

I somehow managed all this gardening even with a serious sacrum injury in late June. As a medical intuitive, I know that injuries and illnesses are never really “accidents,” so I have used this recovery time as a chance to reevaluate the things I carry. Stories I tell, obligations I feel, expectations I honor, and people I support: in addition to these, I have spent months exploring what feeds my energy and what depletes it. The xrays of my back showed some rather alarming damage, not only from this sacrum “accident” but also from years of hauling heavy grocery bags, water containers, and situations. Due to the severity of my 1998 brain injury, the corresponding neck injury received far less treatment than it would have as an isolated incident.

My chiropractor, who is also a dear friend of mine, tells me that I should feel grateful to have been able to digest food at all, let alone thrive. We both say kudos to my very high raw food diet, which provides so many enzymes and vitality with minimal digestive strain. The xrays showed such intense damage and pressure, however, that they also speak volumes of the power of a high vibe, in-touch-with-Source-energy lifestyle. This spine does not look like the spine of someone who lives and thrives to the degree I do; it looks more like that of a disabled person with massive health issues. I feel grateful for the Life Force energy that flows through me and has given me not one, but two miraculous recoveries.

Having seen the xrays, I now have visual confirmation that certain metaphysical aspects of my life do need to change. Not only will I continue rooting out those people and situations that drain me or weigh me down, but I will also use much better discernment with new relationships. Most of the situations/people “on my back” have remained there for a long, long time. I’ve known they needed to go; I just didn’t give myself full permission to release them. As with anyone, my body never betrays me. The body is the lover of the soul and will do anything — whatever it takes –to set the soul free on its chosen path. I thank my back and those alarming xrays for the obvious and urgent support of my soul’s deepest longings.

In January, I announced that I felt called to wind down the coaching aspect of my practice. This shift continues as a slow release. With few exceptions, my only coaching sessions focus on personal healing, Law of Attraction, and/or building a conscious/healing business. I have turned my attention much more to flat out psychic readings, which I find both easier and more enjoyable. The August Tarot Special brought so much positive feedback and requests for more, that I have decided to add this service to my regular menu of offerings. Beginning today, I will offer 1/2 hour tarot readings for $55.55 and hour-long tarot readings for $111. The many people who signed up for the August special shared how transformative they found their reading(s), and I am happy to offer my research, experience, intuition and personal knowledge of this system.

I wish everyone continued movement, grace and courage on the path. We live in exciting times. Let’s make the most of our opportunities and potential. I have to giggle here, as I typed poetential. Indeed, I do sense something poetic about our times — the chance for poetic justice, as well as sheer beauty and pure creation. Abundant blessings and much love! ~Laura

From their updates: “The response has been amazing, heartwarming and inspiring. I will never be able to reach all of you who have been so supportive of the effort to save Landreth, but I am grateful to each and every one of you. Landreth really is 227 years old. George Washington really did stop into the store on Market Street in Philadelphia and purchase seeds. By supporting Landreth, you are helping to preserve what is truly good about America. Please continue to help us get the word out”–Barb Melera
